I over slept so I was kind of panicking but she was just like "I couldn't get the place clean enough in time" ok yes you being unable to clean is why I'm hiring someone. why would they care if there was a mess. whatever, it sucks but I'm mostly mad that she didnt tell me. she never tells me this stuff. she just hides it out of shame.

hilariously, i do not fundamentally agree that five wouldn't under any circumstances homewreck any one of his siblings because he is incredibly maladjusted and i don't think he'd consider the ramifications of hurt it could cause considering all the other hurts their family have survived and i don't think he'd take it seriously at all and also he is an asshole <3 however! it is insane that they expect me to believe he would just peace out under any circumstances across any and every timeline and leave his family to face an apocalypse alone, as if he wouldn't sooner die trying to save them, let alone that he'd abandon them because the person he homewrecked one of them for hurt his feelings. as if his family has not been the center of his universe axis of his entire self for half a century.

it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age

it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.

you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.

young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!

there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big

there's a really funny 3d printing controversy going on btw.

if you don't know, there's a very popular 3d printing model out there called "benchy". this is used for benchmarking your 3d printer because it's a difficult print and will help test it out.

this is so widely used that people make their own little versions of it, remixing the 3d model to make benchy look cooler and stuff. however, a new company owns the benchy license. they are sending copyright takedowns to all those who wrongfully uploaded the benchy model.

of course, this is pissing off the 3d printing community greatly. everyone loved benchy and have used it for years. so someone on reddit decided to make a new model that is designed as a 3d printing stress test. one that works a lot like benchy, and people are freely able to edit it as they please. you know what they called it?
