Hi! I was rereading the comic again and page 16 got me curious about something. Not sure if you’ve answered this already, but how old would present papyrus be? And how old would that make wing dings?

Honestly I have no idea

But like, monsters probably age diffently from humans so...does their exact age really matter??

All you need to know is that they're young adults in the past and then they will be slightly older adults in the present lmao

Papyrus is weird because, technically he's the age Wingdings would be, which is the same age as Sans, BUT he could be considered a little younger because of that whole "no memories" situation?? That does NOT mean he's mentally a child, that would be weird, he didn't lose ALL of his knowledge, he wasn't a baby having to learn how to walk again

Sooooooooo, uh, conclusions

Papyrus is the same age as Sans

The fact that he's child-like is a part of his personality and development but it does not mean he's a child

The fact that Papyrus doesn't have a lot of his previous memories does not make him mentally a child either, he didn't magically become a baby who didn't know how to write

Even though he's the same age as Sans, he considers himself the younger brother!

I don't have an exact age headcanon for anyone, just know they're adults

Just saw your post about Demikhov’s dog as a Bell metaphor and I’d love to hear more if you’re up for it

Of course! Bear with me here as im not the best at explaining things, 

In short, the comparison is mostly that Bell as we know them is basically a separate person to whoever they used to be. A manufactured person, but a person nonetheless who was forcefully sewn onto their old self with little to no regard for quality of life. Whoever Bell used to be seems to still be there in some capacity, basically forced into being a host for the new addition. 

Also adding onto comparison the longest living of the two headed dogs (i believe there was around 24 different tries?) lived about a month. Bell themself lived only about a month (estimated a bit if we take off time from when they were captured considering the team probably didn’t result to MKUltra straight away and it probably took a minute for it to really take hold)

Then of course theres also the fact that the experiment was done on dogs and as we know this fandom loves to compare Bell to a dog for many many reasons

God as an artist when you read a good fanfic… the URGE. The primal FLUSH that goes through your head to illustrate the entire thing as a graphic novel and have it turned into a real physical tangible book. You can imagine the formatting and the smell of ink on the pages.I love u fanfic writers

Listen. I know I said it as a joke because Olruggio enjoyers would love Ogen, but I do think WHA fans would enjoy Octopath Traveler actually.

i already ranted a bit in my review of dltfi, but i wanted to expound more on my interpretation of the ending. spoilers ahead!

personally, i think that the creatures that were coming after andrew & thomas were the physical manifestations of andrew's inner monsters, if you will. more specifically, they embodied his denial of reality, of dove's death. it makes sense when you think about it, considering they only appeared after the accident. i mean, throughout the novel, we see andrew go on a downward spiral. he clearly wasn't in the best state of mind especially once we learn that he completely blocked out the memory of dove's death. maybe the forest trying to lure him in was just another way his desire to escape reality manifested. the forest did eventually succeed in getting its tithe, but i don't necessarily think that andrew & thomas died. i interpret it more as andrew rejecting the truth about dove & choosing to embrace the twisted fairytale of his own creation. very much in denial. and being so codependent with each other, of course thomas didn't hesitate to follow him.

if you're familiar with the fair folk or the enchanted or the engkanto, then i think you'd understand when i say that the ending of dltfi is very much that. andrew & thomas didn't die—they crossed the veil (i can't think of another term that might be more appropriate) to the world of the enchanted. i hope this makes sense.

I actually managed to convince my mum to vote, also she's tried her first edible gummy last night and now thinks weed should be legalized on a federal level. Per her 'it can't be that hard to make edibles legal, right?'

What a day. And we haven't even gotten into the tidal wave of the election yet
