Caelus found out accidentally one day when he was kind of asleep but wasn’t really. He just heard you come in but didn’t wanna wake up, then you sat down, stroked his hair, and started singing. Hello? When could you do that!? After your sweet little lullaby, you kissed him on the head and left. He almost cried.

Now he’ll pretend to sleep sometimes just to hear you sing. Just flop wherever if he knows you’re coming and prays to the lords you might just sing for him.

❃ Dan Heng

The man married the voice of the gods, he swears.

It was a particularly stressful night for him. Dan Heng often carries nightmares and he had just woken up from one. Choosing to close his eyes, he didn’t have much of a reaction when you entered the room. You saw the discomfort on his face and decided to sing to him.

Dan Heng could swear his stresses just melted right then and there. He wanted to wake up, but you never did this otherwise. So he just stayed there and when you were done, you kissed his forehead and just laid beside him. He doesn’t know when he fell asleep, but it was definitely much more peaceful.

❃ Gepard

Gepard has actually caught you singing one day and was too shy to say anything. But your voice was so soft and sweet, he was tempted to ask you to just sing him a lullaby. He proceeded to feel childish and never said a thing.

One day, he was having a hard time falling asleep. He heard you come in, but didn’t want to just wake up when he felt like he was almost asleep- especially since you were so quiet and all. Then it happened. You sat beside him and just began to sing softly. He, for sure, ascended to the afterlife after that. The little kiss was the cherry on top and he could’ve sworn he almost went into cardiac arrest.

❃ Jing Yuan

Jing Yuan loves to take naps on your lap. According to him, it’s the most comfortable place on the entire Xianzhou. He tends to take a couple throughout the day, but you’ve never sang to him.

One day, he had an argument with one of his subordinates and it was rather upsetting to him. You offered to let him rest on your lap and he was avoidant at first, but eventually gave in. When you thought he was asleep… you sang to him. It was the first time you’d done so. Once you finished, you leaned in and kissed his forehead. That’s when he opened his eyes and nearly gave you a heart attack. You were so embarrassed but he was so in love.

a) go back to sleep and wake up in the present

b) go back to sleep and experience the past as it happened or

c) stay awake and have a chance at changing the past at the cost of the future

What does he choose? 👀

When Bojan opens his eyes in the morning, he doesn’t realise it right away. He wakes up where he went to sleep, in his own bed in Ljubljana, in his and Kris’ shared apartment. But the room is chillier than is typical in August. The light coming in through the window is different. Colder.

He sits up in confusion, dizzy. A strange sense of something being horribly wrong hits him right away. His room looks different even before he realises what’s happening.

Cold shivers wash through him and he reaches for his phone, which is where he leaves it every night, except that it’s his old phone —

The screen confirms it. April 2023.

Kris barges in. And by then it’s too late to go back to sleep and wake up safely in the future.

(Bojan ends up staying awake by accident but nothing changes even though he’s terrified of ruining it all by being so in love (which he realises once he sees Jere for the second first time in Madrid — he has been hopelessly in love with his friend all this time). He spends the spring nervous and on the edge and seeking Jere, since while he’s terrified of ruining things, he also finds comfort in Jere. Jere is like his Jere, he hasn’t changed.

Bojan falls asleep after the grand final with a passed-out Jere in his arms, shirt wet from tears, confident that he hasn’t ruined anything (yet), confident that if it goes in like this and he makes no wrong moves and manages to keep his feelings to himself they can make it to their future, confident that he can keep Jere by his side —)

((Nothing (or…..? 👀) changes because Bojan was sooo in looove the first time around already without knowing it, this time he’s just aware and knows what to name the things he’s feeling, also all the stressing makes him go greyer faster hehe. Does he wake up in the future with a happy Jere in his arms, though?))

so lets see, ill start off apologizing for being dead- exam season is around the corner and the only good thing about that will be that i will no longer have to teach or design papers- so i can probably draw a bit again, hopefully at least- so i WILL get back to the requests yall have sent me i promise uwu💕

tho bad news comes in the form of my school principles and viceprinciples bullying me because im a newbie, saying im not good at my job and putting their shortcomings as my fault because who wouldnt like to blame someone else for something they werent able to do- and i feel like the abuse im taking in this toxic environment is convincing me slowly to quit my job and start risking less stable jobs even if it means being my daddies little house girl again for a while. 🙄 at the very least even if im leaching off my parents i still actually HAVE somewhat decent parents and thats not something alot of people could say and im greatful for that.

the audacity was well shown when the principle went on the teachers meeting and was like "some of the teachers here who i will not name dont know how to do their job-" and then told me that i only got my job cuz my dad is rich [which yeah sure my daddy studied 4 years of uni and then credited me sure mmhmm makes sense.] and honestly i feel like im surrounded by 50 year old toddlers-

overall, learning to adult is difficult and im glad some people are helping me figure out how to put together a resume and apply for jobs and all that.... but i guess the next bad news comes in the form of us leaving for russia. i dont hate seeing other countries but having my life uprooted immediately after work ends and summer starts and selling off the car and putting stuff in boxes and yeeting ourselves via plane to live somewhere else for the next 4 years in pure isolation is not something my mental health is gonna be haha about. esp since im gonna have to talk to my therapist and doctor to give me enough meds for me to be able to search for another doctor while im there to give me similar treatment. ughhhhhhh.

overall i feel like i have reached a lovely level of ✨️no longer giving a shit about existance✨️ and thanks to some friends i was convinced juuuuust enough to reconsider ending myself :) in my defense, google was getting annoying for only bringing up hotlines =_=

my eyes cant see well anymore due to constant crying and emotional numbness has taken over me, so i apologize if i may seem out of it or a lil blunt at times when im talking lol i no longer have the energy to PRETEND and hold a mask to seem SOCIALLY appropriate and in this last month of school im gonna be making it everyone elses problem at school.

but other than that im looking forward for school ending so i could just sleep for a while without waking up BEFORE my alarms at 5am.

this one is so easy actually! more of a paragraph than a single line, but from chapter two of my fic ashes in the wildfire. unlike many of the other imagery/comparison lines I was using throughout that fic, this one was not planned in advance, so it feels more special:

“Intimacy was a deep, dark forest to roam. It was laden with towering emotions, coiled with branches of uncertainty, and loomed overhead the flaming temptation of desire that he told himself never to have. If he wasn’t careful, he would find himself burned within it. But sex was a clearing in the midst of that boundless thicket—a place that kept him free from harm.”

this one is hard. I can’t pick specifics. the most memorable comments are definitely all of the ones telling me ashes in the wildfire is a masterpiece ahaha, they made me feel all gooey inside.

But other than those, there are several comments where people mention on my fics that they’ve realized I’m the person who wrote Peeker’s Advantage, which is also hilarious and memorable.

Joonghyuk huffed, settling his cheek on Dokja’s shoulder. Shallow breaths fell hot against the back of his neck. “Forget it. Regressing another time still won’t free me from seeing your ugly mug.” 

Dokja released his hold on Joonghyuk’s legs, dropping him onto the hard ground. The pained groan following a loud thump drew a smirk to his face. “Are you ready to give up your pride now, bastard?”

If this were a (morally) better show, this storyline would be about how capitalism beats people down and backs them into corners without any resources! Like, how easy it is for someone without a strong support network to go from a "normal, functioning member of society" to desperate and penniless and losing their grasp on reality.
