IM BACK!!! Anyways I thought Id recommend a MLP cupcake au comic because it seems up your alley(it's gorey in the beginning but it's setting up everything really nicely). Book of Paviy “chapter” 2 !!

This chapter being on; Paviy Types

It’s just the “magic elements”, though technically they all came from the same type. The “more evolved” the type the more specific the effect.

Before talking about the types themselves, there are some things to mention.

As quickly mentioned in the last chapter, each person has an “attuned paviy” (some have more than 2 but more about that in the paviy cases chapter). What’s this mean? It’s the type that is most absorbed into the core. Usually hereditary in choice. That’s not to say that the other kinds of paviy don’t also absorb into the core, just less so. [if I’m being honest I don’t have an actual name for it so I’m just stickin with attuned paviy for now lol—]

The magic that transports nutrients and bodily functions from one part to another (via the paviy core) is also made up of mostly the attuned paviy. That magic is kinda like veins/muscles/ your entire body, and so the attuned paviy is much more visible then the others. That being said, because it’s working the hardest on your body, and because it’s the most visible, it releases the most effects.

Those effects could be natural, such as having a heat resistance or heat reluctance. But the main effect is Paviy releasal, or “the fun part”/ casting.

Absorption is the paviy going into the core or body, either through the air or through ingestion.

The paviy core gets enough paviy by using the environment/food, but also through a thing called the interpaviy cycle. However, it usually only uses this cycle for body transportation, aka the magic that grabs nutrient from stomach and throws into rectum or something. Part of that cycle magic might also be used as an alternate energy source, depending on how starved the host is, but then again, that isn’t it’s main function, so most species don’t get that much energy from it.

The interpaviy cycle also doesn’t really help with releasal paviy, all it does is allow the ingested paviy look at the core capacity and say “oh their all good here, so i dont need to help them” and now the host has a larger source of paviy to release.

However, that concept only implies to endominal releases. Depending on the species or person (usually species), magic can be cast by using the paviy its core already has (endominal), OR it can absorb/condense/shift the paviy around it to cast back out (exominal). Exominal releasing is much rarer, and not to be confused with “bending” elements like controlling a water puddle.

Now onto the actual types. There’s not as much to say about these, other then most are considered modern and the older ones are considered ancient. They split the two up because of minor differences, the main on being that ancient paviy doesn’t have subtypes, where teah magic might having hundreds of subtypes like conduction, lighting, fire, temperature, etc, ecapsa is ecapsa/space, and thats it.

Subtypes are labelled as subtypes, because while yes they are apart of the same paviy type, for example, a person with sagaz magic may be able to do chemical control with another person also with sagaz cannot.

Usually while people can only naturally learn to use the paviy they’re attuned with, it is possible to learn others. The less related the types are the more difficult it would be.

And that’s it for the second chapter!! Only three more to go.
