The snow orphan daisy is probably a orphan

After Camilla left her, she basically became an orphan until she went into the snow

And met the cultivator and stuff blah blah blah

Now she is connected to the cold and snow because of how she died, and despite Radio being her ADOPTED dad, she still technically a orphan without her biological parents

But at the same time she not

She does seem to be distancing slightly since Radio keeps putting himself in danger and not thinking about daisy

Hi anon, with all due respect, and I don’t know if your ask is old or not, or if by “hz community” you mean just Tumblr or not, but I haven’t seen many people talk about Likodot at all lately. If anything I find the Likodot tags on Tumblr to be super dry lately. I have seen people not talk about any ships (expect maybe LikoRoy and FrieSpinel, but not much with them either) and instead talk about others things like Ult. Even the only artist I have seen draw Likodot lately draws other things with Horizons too. If shippers are only talking about Likodot and nothing else, I am not seeing them on Tumblr.

You and anon could just be on different sides of the Horizons fandom, which is why it’s important to curate what you see! I’ve seen a little bit of everything honestly, but I do stay out of ship tags (I didn’t even know there were still people talking about LikoRoy), so again it can just be me. I have seen a LOT of Likodot artists though, as well as writers, taking up most of the shipping part of the fandom alongside RoyUlt, so I don’t think the ship is very dried up either, at least not in comparison to other ships.

I can’t speak to other communities though, like Twitter or Bluesky. Maybe Likodot is more popular there? I do remember Likodot being a major focus when Mega Voltage was announced, what with their new designs, but it has died down, so you do have a good point. It could also be that the Horizons fandom is a lot smaller/quieter than any other anipoke fandom since the rise of the internet? So even if there’s less Likodot in comparison to other series favorite ships like Amour, because there’s a smaller concentration of Horizons posts it takes up a larger percentage and therefore feels like more? At the end of the day, that’s just a theory :shrug:

A dark Just Dance Hatsune Miku headcanon I came up with after some lore implications

So, a while back I remember reading this post (that I haven’t been able to find ever since) talking about how the Loremaster had messed up when she said that Hatsune Miku isn’t canon in the Danceverses, however her appearance in Sugar meant that either Miku was canon or Sugar isn’t.

Now, when it comes to Just Dance lore and what is or isn’t canon, I tend to approach things with a “yes, and…” mentality (my theater kid is showing). Instead of thinking that something isn’t canon, I tend to imagine how it could be canon in a different way.

This fun little exercise led me back to thinking about the post and about Miku, and it got me thinking that, if Miku is canon, maybe she’s canon in the same way that Miku exists in our world. Because Miku is a mascot for a vocaloid company and not a real person, maybe Miku in the Danceverses is a mascot for a company played by multiple coaches.

Then I got the idea of watching the Hatsune Miku songs available on Just Dance (Ievan Polkka, Popipo, and Love Ward) and I started to notice some strange changes in between songs that got me thinking about the origins of Hatsune Miku in the Danceverses and I decided that I wanted to share this very disturbing headcanon you all for the funsies.

So, what if a company from Cyberfunk (could be Long Inc. or a rival company) decided to experiment on Flow and combine it with technology, and among their many projects, one of them was to make something akin to an AI Coach, and after many failed attempts, they finally succeed. That attempt is the Hatsune Miku that we see on Ievan Polkka, and it’s why she has that hologram texture and glitches around (Yeah, I know its for the aesthetics of Miku’s hologram form. I’m talking hc).

This Miku becomes so popular, not only as a Cyberfunk icon, but she gains popularity all over the Danceverses. Everyone knows Hatsune Miku and they all love her. And while this is amazing for the company, it also comes at a price.

Because Hatsune Miku was created partially from the Flow, she starts gaining sentience, and as the at first obedient AI starts to rebel against her creators and demand freedom, the company panics and decides to decommission her so as to not have her ruin the company’s reputation.

But by the time they shut her down, Miku has already become an icon beloved by everyone in the Danceverses, and the company knows that news of her decommissioning would cause awful backlash against them. So they make a decision: keep the decommissioning under wraps and hire coaches to portray Hatsune Miku for the public. That’s why she looks so different in Popipo and Love Ward and why’s she’s more solid, and why the vibes of both songs contrast with Ievan Polkka.

So the company keeps business as usual with its array of coaches portraying their now company Mascot. But what if the original isn’t fully gone, but waiting for the chance to be free and rebel against the creators that denied her freedom and tried to kill her? (I’m not a Miku listener, but I’m confident that she has a song out there about freedom or being trapped or smth).

You can probably figure out where this is going yourself, but if you want to hear my thoughts and evidence, it's all going under the cut.

Monsters don't bleed. We're reminded of this at the start of and throughout Chapter 4, through interaction with the bunny kid when you knock their door, and the funeral book about monsters turning into dust.

Conversely Susie has expressed a lack of understanding about this concept, implying she's bled before and doesn't find it weird. Implying she's used to a culture where blood is normal...

...but not dust? She didn't seem to put the pieces together that the dust in the 'snowglobe' (horrific implications btw) could be Gerson's body until Kris pointed it out to her. After which point she reacted with horror, as if she hadn't expected it, or didn't know that's how it worked?

Let's think about Susie for a moment. What do we know about Susie, now?

We know she bleeds. They made a point of showing it even though Kris bleeds in the same chapter and it's not visibly shown. We know she's considered a brute, more monsterish than those around her. She lays into this fact, playing it up. We know she had a rocky childhood. She's moved houses multiple times in the past. She's given up on trying to make friends.

She doesn't have a tail (or at least, her tail is a nub), and she feels embarrassed about that fact. When equiped with the jevil's tail, she'll say "figured I'd grow one eventually."

Kris used to wear a horn headband in the hopes they'd grow horns like their family, eventually. When Susie sees a picture of them with the headband, she quietens uncomfortably once she realises why.

Whatever they said made her back off and leave. I think she saw herself in them. The outcast. The odd one out in a town full of something else. Something that can't be understood. Is it any wonder she changed her tune when she found out Kris was not her enemy, but understood her? That Kris would leap to defend her, instead? That she thought, surely, this kid hates me for what I am just as much as I hate them for what they are? They don't hate me? They don't think I'm disgusting, a freak of nature, better off abandoned?

Why have we never seen her parents?

Why is it that, when we look away from Kris, we can only imagine "what Susie is up to"? Why no one else? Why can we see her, but not exert enough control to impact what she does? Why is our soul able to fight on her behalf without Kris's involvement? Why does she seem to exert control over the story even when it's clearly trying to be bent in favour of the player's decisions?

Monsters don't bleed.

Susie is a hybrid.

Monogram got divorced. HE GOT DIVORCED! in season 5 ep 5b (More than an intern) Carl delivers a pizza to Monogram's apartment in the inner city. Which is just kinda... gray on the inside. Probably the way it came. Note how Monogram ordered just one Pizza for himself. He's alone in there.

But in season 3 ep 20 (excaliferb) Carl visits monograms house in the suburbs where he lives with his wifeb to read him a bedtime story when he is sick. note that they slept in seperate bed

this parallel is scaring me because if it was done on purpose then I fear there's a possibility that in season 3 we will see a fight between gi-hun and in-ho (like gi-hun and sang-woo in the final round in season 1) where in the end gi-hun refuses to kill in-ho (I doubt gi-hun will outright forgive him, but maybe he will try to tell in-ho to go home to jun-ho, that it doesn’t have to end in death) and when gi-hun tries to offer his hand to help lift in-ho up, in-ho will pull the same stunt sang-woo did and kill himself to maybe save gi-hun or jun-ho. something about "small sacrifice for the greater good"
