Okay so fun fact, I just finished watching Lego Monkie Kid for the first time and it was awesomesauce I really should've watched it earlier. And while watching it I basically immediately decided that Red Son was my favorite character cause he's awesomesauce. But I was thinking about why precisely I thought he was so awesomesauce when it suddenly hit me. Overdramatic and theatrical inventor character with a temper that acts really overconfident but is actually rather insecure and yearns for parental approval? God fucking dammit it's just Rise!Donnie again I can't escape that damn turtle.

#mei and macaque are also awesomesauce i love them a ton <3 #btw it took me WAY too long to realize that wukong was voiced by goku's english va #GENIUS casting 10/10 #there were several db references in the show which was fun to see considering db is quite inspired by jttw in the first place #my personal favorite was in the end of s4 when macaque wore vegeta's fuckass pink shirt + yellow pants outfit i screamed when I saw that #tizel talk

We're casting again!

This is for a spin-off miniseries in the ANA universe that will be on the main feed but feature all new characters! Here's some copy!

ANA Presents: Necessary Evil

This four-episode miniseries takes place in the Absolutely No Adventures universe but follows evil queen Sibella in her downtime between magic battles and running her seized kingdom.

It's going to have all the same genre humor and slice of life stories as regular ANA episodes but from the POV of a charming villain rather than an extremely annoyed baker.

Nothing burger #And you don’t even have to give him a voice or show more of his face or anythin #They could’ve just given him more body language and that would’ve made a world of difference #Like idk feels like a missed opportunity to me man #I feel like he feels more of a prop than a character like. More often than the rest of the main cast #And I know. That sounds silli to say about a htf character since the whole point is just setting up situations where the critters die #But I feel like for the rest of the cast I can at least say they have a lil personality going on (outside of Cro he is cube)#And like. Shame y'all are being so negative about the murderbot trailer. It looks good and funny but so many people decided that it couldn't possibly be good cause they didn't like the casting so are now looking at everything with shit tinted lenses. Must suck to be so negative about everything

I love Jamie Parker's voice so much.

finished Tactica and if you listen closely you can hear my sniffling.. i held it together until that final scene 😭 i hope we see Toshiro and Erina again because that wasn't enough!!

#*#i didnt think i was going to enjoy the game as much but it was a lot of fun #i was surprised it was more about toshiro than erina #their story was very touching and i've come to love the two of them a lot.. it really had me worried there they wouldnt reunite at the end #but i wanted to at least see him at leblanc.. sniffle #toshiro the relatable pathetic man that you are...#perfect voice casting btw #the gameplay.. i thought we'd be destroying flags and planting our own but it was only like that for maybe two levels #then it felt like they gave up on puzzles towards the end lol i liked that style #also somehow fitting a god into the story again i couldn't help but laugh cause it feels so out of nowhere for the sake of it #but the velvet room train??? lavenza just keeps being the best character #i think i had the most fun in the second kingdom... the disguises were too good. lotsa art insp #and the emotions of futaba and yusuke relating to toshiro over mom stuff #i dont think she's had a moment like that with anyone and it was really sweet #the boss near the end of the third kingdom is made of real nightmares btw #if eri didnt make it that boss would have hit soo differently #i had a feeling erina was either going awaken a persona or be toshiro's but i was also like.. nahh #really anything can happen and i love it #kinda want a full costume for him like zenkichi but i still love how he was handled #anyway nothing beats the opening music playing over a final fight scene #toshiro erina sophia and zenkichi are all great additions to the phantom thieves to me they're a lot of fun

trying to listen to hamilton ages ago was a really fun experience because everyone sounds good and then lin-manuel miranda gets on the mic

#I like to believe that all future castings of the character must also be someone who kins him and who cannot rap #I relistened to a few songs from it recently and it was very fun because he sounds fine/good when he's clearly character acting #and then he'll have a moment where he 'locks in' and he does this fuckass voice I can't describe it #Anyway #Someday I would love to fully listen to it because I think it's really fascinating to examine but as of now I am not strong enough

Decided to watch all of The Boondocks because I'm trapped in suburbia petsitting for family and while there are still some banger episodes, the show/writers/creator(s) have such a frothing hatred for women and ESPECIALLY Black women, any time an episode has to focus on issues that involve women, its satire ability suddenly drops to negative two hundred.

Somewhere in the 3rd season, they inexplicably decided to do fuck nothing with Huey, where he became a background character all the way to the end. The final episode had like no cleverness to it. It was just "Riley, don't call people this slur" and then Riley drops the slur and Grandad says "Riley, don't call the slur people a slur". Rinse and repeat for 20 min.

#the boondocks #hearing fred willard drop the n-word like 50 times in 4 minutes is still horrendously funny #i thought constantly about how insane half these lines are and how the voice cast must be having so much fun
