objectively, which prsk even do you think is the best written, and which one is the worst written?

calling one of the events objectively the best is difficult, because my personal biases will affect my answer and also because there isn't really such a thing as "objectively the best". answering for events that aren't good is a lot easier, so some examples off the top of my head would have to be sekai happy new year (filler but not in a good way), detective tenma (asspull because they needed to pad for time), on your feet (messy because they were rushing), and light up the fire (huge pacing issues but the story itself is fine).

as i've been referencing, i am combining all of my blogs into one big multimuse because as it stands, i do not have the time and energy to do multiple blogs. i'm sorry if this is a little annoying for some people, but i'm hopeful this will mean that i will have better and more consistent activity going forward!

i do plan on keeping all my threads, though i might be selective with what asks i carry over.

i also understand that, because it's a general multi, there may be some fandoms that some of my mutuals avoid. i am going to do my best to trigger tag the common themes of these muses when they come up, and if there is anything specific you want tagged/you want a whole fandom tagged, let me know and we can work something out. or if that's not enough for you and you don't want to follow, that's okay too! maybe at some point i will feel good enough to break my blogs back up, and we can reconnect at that point! either way, do what's best for you, i get it!

i like so many live versions of separate ways better than the studio version... i feel like steve just tries a little too hard on the vocals on the studio version in a way he doesn't do live; it sounds a lot more natural and a little higher pitched

on the other hand, i think some songs gained an extra something when Steve's voice got a little lower/raspier. I like a lot of the live performances of Open Arms/Still They Ride/Send Her My Love from the '86 tour.

hey! english is not my first language and matthew said something in ep 6 that i really don't get? can you explain it to me? he's speaking to the players in the locker room before game 7 v edmonton and he said "you fucking put me in that locker room last year in vegas, game 5. you tell me you have a fucking game 7 at home?"

ik he was referencing his injury last year that put him out of commission for game 5 but other than that i don't get the second part??? lmaooo

Yeah, he said something similar in an interview either before or after game 7, where he expanded on that a little more and he was saying, if you'd told us in that locker room after the game 5 loss in vegas that'd we'd be guaranteed to be back next year playing a game 7 at home we all would've taken that deal

things i’m thinking about: the way in this scene from verdi’s stiffelio where lina just keeps repeating that line: “la donna più non supplica—non più, non supplica!” (can be translated several different ways but my favorites are “it is no longer your wife who pleads—no more, she pleads no more!” and the grammatically looser “as a woman, i no longer plead—no more, i plead no more!”).

she is not pleading anymore, she’s not groveling in the dust before her husband or any other man anymore, no matter what she’s done. she stands before him, totally herself, totally vulnerable, totally equal. “qui, la colpevole sta.” “here, the sinner stands.”

she bows before God, and no one else. in the following (and final) scene, after men have failed her and torn each other apart, she puts her faith in God, in God’s goodness and mercy, alone.

and that faith does not go unseen.
