I approach writing Eutrope from the angle that she has made every possible mistake but she looks so good doing it 💖
#see also:#neirin#but yeah no the fandom seems to treat her as like#a mad genius. a badass#and that's just....... not the read i ever got#she's always read as messy and scared and desperate to me#and NOW following the reveal that she was trying to save RETSARRA#she also reads as ultimately self-destructive

Pairing: Dr. Michael Robinavitch x Doctor!Reader (fem) 📎 Warnings: Fluff, family chaos, dad jokes so bad they might be a medical emergency, light language, mentions of past teen pregnancy, one (1) Belgian Malinois with too much energy, and an 8-year-old attempting crazy scientific experiments. 📅 Series: The Robinavitch Chronicles
tagging: @kmc1989 @nowandajenn @stefanmikaleson1864 @beebeechaos @sweetwanderlust05
🩺 Summary:
Welcome to the barely controlled chaos of the Robinavitch household—where the operating room is somehow less stressful than breakfast time. Dr. Y/N is a badass senior resident, Michael a genius attending with the patience of a saint (most days), and their three kids—Sawyer (teen with a sass level over 9000), Alex (mad scientist in training), and Spencer (tiny terror in a tutu)—keep them on their toes. Add in Kojo, their overprotective Belgian Malinois who thinks he’s part babysitter, part security detail, and you’ve got a family sitcom disguised as a medical drama.
Expect: snack-fueled standoffs, bubble bath bribes, science experiments gone rogue, and enough love to keep this whole circus together.
Paging all readers: Things are about to get adorably unhinged.
Author note: You can share and tag me, but I forbid anyone from stealing my work and making it yours. I put my heart and soul into coming up with this series. Unfortunately, I have witnessed creators coming across this problem.

DC + DP theatre kids
So Sam is such a theatre kid, don't even try to lie to me, she's dramatic, sassy ect, but she wouldn't ever participate in it, because the popular kids would be there, and it would just be awkward, after highschool though she drags Danny and Tucker to a small theatre three hours away.
Located in Gotham of all places, the current play is Hamilton, (purely for myself) Sam is Hamilton, Tucker is Thomas Jefferson, and Danny decided to be Eliza, they are in love with it. They are singing Guns and Ships in car rides, just utterly in love with the tiny Gothic theatre and the play.
Sam is thriving, funding the theatre simply because she can't stand to see them go out of business. the theatre kid shenanigans are maxed out. They are gossiping in the wings (totally get told to shut up) Sam constantly complaining about itchy costumes.
And obviously the theatre hasn't had enough funds to put on a production like this for years. So they are going full out, and are sold out. The bats are worried, rouges are theatric, there is a reason the theatre hadn't gotten funding, or actors. The rogues liked to make a mess of things. After all last time something like this was the Grayson's.
So on the opening night everyone is just waiting, for something to go horribly terribly wrong. The bats stationed around waiting for the joker, or scarecrow, just something to happen. Dick is so stressed out, he's fretting, yelling at everyone, practically breaking down. The bats are nervous too, this is practically begging something to go wrong.
Except Danny, Tucker and Sam refuse to let something go wrong. The first interference, an attempt at releasing fear toxin, is easily stopped by Danny. The next rouge to try something is Mr. Freeze (idk I just needed a rogue) the room starts to get cold, and Hamilton stops it, delivering right on beat of one of his dramatic lines.
Joker goons come at some point and Danny (in full costume) is just foiling them effortlessly before strutting on stage and delivering the best performance of his life. Tucker utterly saves the tech from going wrong, mad scientist hacker mode and then flounces on stage as Thomas Jefferson .
the bats are smitten. Steph doesn't know what to say, the lead is hot, and clearly a meta, and just effortlessly beat up a goon in the wings of the stage.
Tim doesn't know what to say about this Thomas Jefferson, other than he's a genius, and really fucking pretty.
Jason might be in love with the badass crossdressing guy that's Eliza. Because anyone who can beat someone up while wearing a corset is his type.
Jason is full also in nerd mode, and is utterly oblivious, he's singing to songs, and full on in love with all the actors voices. So what if he knows Hamilton, he doesn't predict the headlines, or realize his career as a badass crime lord is done.
Duke is also a theatre kid and knows all the lyrics, because he was forced into an after school activity as a kid and fell in love. so he knows the lyrics too.
Eventually the performance is done, with nothing happening, the rogues beat to hell, the bats exhausted, but they still ask out their perspective partners, because if they lose the chance they will regret it for eternity.
They say yes, obviously. And the first dates just make them fall in love even more. Mind you the next play is even more chaotic.
---
Hamilton is just awesome. I have no defence, I am simply a nerd.
Sorry I haven't been posting, schools are stressful and I've been a moron. also thank ya'll for being amazing, fr tho I'm shocked so many people like my silly ideas, but thanks!
Also am I spelling theatre right? cause google agrees with me but Tumblr doesn't.
Bye!

You know, I gotta say, nobody has ever done the immortal boyfriend with a mortal girlfriend trope better than the Emily Wilde books. Their relationship isn't some edgy, drama filled sex romp where everyone is unbelievably hot and cool. (Not to hate on those stories if that's your thing, to each their own.) They're literally two people who respect each other for their respective abilities and personalities. Emily is a devoted academic with little interest in anything but her area of study (which sort of happens to include Wendell). Wendell, despite being an exiled prince of Faerie, is just a lazy, slightly ridiculous dude who likes nothing better than being cozy and following his girlfriend around while she does research. He also happens to be insanely talented with a sword and with magic, but somehow that never makes him seem like a badass, just even more ridiculous.
And though the Fae in this book are often described as sort of unearthly beautiful, it's really never meant to be sexy. They're beautiful by and large in a cold and terrifying way. Like, they might drag you around partying for a while, but then they slit your throat and hang you from a tree with no warning at all, and your friends and loved ones never know what happened to you. And the story does address this as a legitimate concern in terms of Wendell's and Emily's relationship. It's totally possible that he could some day become a mad King of Faerie, and her friends try to warn her repeatedly. Wendell is aware of their warnings, and in some stories the love interest would storm about in anger and disbelief that anyone could doubt him or he would laugh it off, but Wendell being Wendell, he's pleased that her friends care enough about her to voice their concerns and he acknowledges that this is a real threat. In the end, he knows Emily is a genius, and he trusts her to stop him from tumbling headlong into disaster, as she's done time and time again. And Emily does consider these concerns as well. But if Emily is anything, she's confident in her knowledge and abilities. She doesn't refuse to believe that her beloved is incapable of being like other Fae, quite the opposite, she acknowledges his occasional strange, uncanny otherness multiple times and the fact that he could go mad. She does everything in her power to keep this from happening, and we have every reason to believe that this will continue to be the case.
Then there's the age old issue of human/immortal age gaps that so many similar books face. Emily Wilde books side step this issue nicely by making Wendell very similar in age to Emily. He's not some 500 year old dude hitting on a 30 year old, he's a teenager when he's driven out of Faerie, and he ultimately comes of age in the human world at about the same time as Emily. This takes away the kind of creepy aspect of someone hooking up with someone young enough to be their great-great-grandaughter, and it gives a nice excuse for Wendell to be less cruel and mad than other Faerie monarchs as well.
And even though I keep saying these books don't make the Fae sexy, that's not to say the books are sterile and chaste. Emily and Wendell do eventually have a sexual relationship, but it comes along very naturally, from people who start out as coworkers and academic rivals and grow to become friends and then partners and then co-rulers and spouses. When they have sex it just feels like two people who love each other and enjoy each other's company, not like some wild outburst of edgy, sexy, repressed desires. (Again, no hate if that's your thing.)
And maybe the best thing about their mortal/immortal relationship is that Emily doesn't have to change herself or abandon everything she held dear for Wendell. Emily goes through a brief phase where she tries to fit into the beauty standards of the Fae, and then she quickly realizes that's stupid and she's better off being herself. And Wendell never cared about any of that at all, he's too busy just adoring her scholarly obsessions. Many stories ask the mortal heroines to leave behind their loved ones and lives for their immortal lover, but again, Emily Wilde does it better. Wendell immediately recognizes that academia is Emily's first love. He sets her up with a library, endless journals, and most importantly, multiple points of access to the mortal realm, where she can go to research in peace, continue her connection with Cambridge, publish her work, and of course, present at the occassional academic conference now that her career has taken off.
Emily Wilde got her man, a throne, and a flourishing career. Our girl really can do it all.

I have a question
As i understand, your au is taking place after lost light (nautica check). During the lost light Perceptor and Brainstorm was get along pretty good actually.
So i wonder.
We know how Nautica feel about Storm slowly going insane, but what about Perceptor? His genius colleague is becoming delulu and it's not like he can do anything.
Not a simpatico askim just curious
This AU is its own continuity/universe so everything that happens in Lost Light is irrelevant to my AU but still has characters that feature in the Lost Light like Nautica and Velocity. Think about this AU as its own thing, some characters will have very different appearances, personalities, alt modes, etc etc.
This AU takes place during the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Nautica gets to see the horrors.
In this AU, Perceptor and Brainstorm have a very different relationship and they both have personalities different than how they are in Lost Light (Perceptor is more akin to G1, he's more traditionally nerdy and a bit of a dweeb instead of badass the way Lost Light Perceptor is). Perceptor doesn't know Brainstorm that well and they certainly aren't that friendly with each other.
Their relationship in this AU is like.. Brainstorm chases him around with toxic chemicals while Perceptor flees for his life.
As for Perceptor and how he feels about Brainstorm's descent into science madness, Perceptor is not all that surprised. According to him, Brainstorm's always had a few screws loose even when he was more tame in nature.

Nobody talks about how fucking cool Edgar and Eric Jomfru are and it's actually so sad.
These guys attended EVERY Dethklok show, with ZERO injuries, meaning they traveled the entire world. Not only that, they turned it into a business- They sold merch on their website, which had hundreds of thousands of daily views. That's fandom clout you can never even dream of.
They had the balls to stand there and threaten Dethklok for money. After Eric is shot, Edgar still has enough drive to somehow evade several snipers and be captured alive, plot his escape, swim out with a kid on his back, and become an international terrorist capable of literal mind control. He lived with a guy who spent his entire life in near-perfect solitude and they seemed to get along pretty well. Imagine their little domestic day to day life, between the revengence.
He escaped a horde of angry burn victims, once again alive, infiltrated Mordhaus (and lived AGAIN) to take the brute force route of shooting Dethklok with a gun (Magnus could never) and was still able to put his hatred aside when he realized this isn't what Eric wanted.
Despite everything Dethklok put Edgar Jomfru through he was able to put aside his hatred (and he still says they make him sick to his stomach, in DSR) and admit they meant something to him- to his brother, to a lot of people- and were part of a greater whole that he didn't have a right to destroy. Something he was ultimately willing to put personal grudges aside and die for.
He and his brother dropped out of HARVARD to follow a metal band on the road and by all we're shown, their only regret was being hit by a drunk driver. They still made what looks to be a pretty comfortable, possibly even rich (concert tickets ain't cheap for Dethklok) lifestyle for themselves.
Edgar is never once truly inhibited by his disability and never allows it to define him, and it ISNT the source of his rage, or the start of his character arc. Do you know how rare that is?
They start off as typical toxic fans who have made their livelihood by feeling entitled to someone else's work, only to end up with a deeper respect for them as people and for their output as real art with meaning to the world. They could've been NASA scientists or some other kind of mad genius, but instead, they followed their passion for metal and that's honestly badass? Also they're from Ohio so you know they're self starters because there's fuck all to do there.
They never lose their virginity because they never lose, period.

I keep thinking about how Flug is known to be highly dangerous by the documents of P.E.A.C.E and how he has a frikking list of all the things that he has done. As well as that Alan has stated that Flug is a completely mad genius. What I wonder is if all of these are things that he did, waaay before he ever joined BlackHat? and if so, that kinda shows how he only ever fears BlackHat and not any other villain, which, by far of all the videos and the 5 episode 🤔 it does show that he really only fears BlackHat. With this in mind, I really like thinking that Flug is a badass with anxiety, lol

First Time Reading Girl Genius Novels!
Airship City just arrived!!!! So just to clarify, I have read and am entirely up to date on the webcomic so don’t worry about spoiling anything! I’m also only really reacting to things that stick out to me while I’m reading the novels specifically, I already know the story. So without further ado let’s get into it:
Heterodyne Boys content! Hell yes!
Bill silently cleaning his weapons while Barry worries about him is so wholesome and sad at the same time. It is a tragedy that we never really get to see much of this sibling dynamic because it seems really sweet.
The thumbs up signal too, just a little snapshot of how they were before all this.
Damn the Other is terrifying, just picking all the main players off one by one until no one’s even being accused anymore because it’s so clearly something on another level.
‘It was the most Bill had spoken this week.’ This is just too depressing
It’s kind of weird to be reminded that the Heterodynes did actually win against the Other; the end to their story is just so far from triumphant it feels like a loss.
Actual descriptions of the way the locket and the Spark impacts Agatha’s mind!
The atmosphere of Beetleburg is really fleshed out which is nice.
‘Jägermonsters found everything amusing. Except when people tried to beg for mercy. That they found downright hilarious.’ Ha!
The implications that ordinary household appliances have kill modes installed that are only activated in the presence of a strong Mechanicsburg accent should surprise me more than it does
There is so much irony in Agatha hiding the fact she reads Heterodyne Boy novels from her adoptive parents Punch and Judy.
‘If a mad scientist wasn’t at war with at least two of his neighbours it was because he had his back to the sea and even then he had to watch out for an invasion of intelligent sea urchins.’ Europa really is just Like That
The fact the Heterodynes represented hope to the average people because they actually tried gives me so many emotions
Moloch’s narration is a lot more sympathetic than he comes across in the comic at the start.
The general populace automatically getting worried at Sparky tones even with no context is a nice touch
Jägers and their terrible pick up lines make a first appearance
Beetle was really very sweet to Agatha and meant well which I tend to forget because of the whole Hive Engine first impression
‘Glassvitch’s specialty was chemical engineering which minimised his experience with hysterically sobbing young ladies.’
Something, something, “science is better than emotions or people” is both extremely autistic and a very common take in Girl Genius which I love.
Klaus’ backstory is once again so depressing.
Also the fact no one took him seriously because he was an adventurer who let Bill and Barry take the spotlight and then he just came back out of nowhere, challenged anyone to try and take him on and ended up taking over a significant part of the continent, is kind of badass.
Oh Agatha, assassination attempts since he was revealed are nothing in the wide array of shit going on to make Gil the way he is; that is so far from the problem that to call it the tip of the iceberg would be assigning it too much importance
Boris being known and feared almost as much as the Baron, hell yes, that long suffering man deserves respect for his efforts.
‘He clutched the fishbowl to his chest protectively’ Gil, I love you
Klaus swinging an arm around Gil’s shoulder and patting it while smiling and calling him his son non critically might be the most affection we’ve ever seen him express.
Why do I feel like this is peak healthiness for their relationship, the bar is in the fucking basement
Klaus and Gil ‘eyed each other, as if each were embarrassed at the thought of speaking first. Finally the Baron cleared his throat and said, “Yes, Gil, what do you think of that?”
The description makes that already hilarious interaction so much better. Their whole role in this confrontation reads as second hand embarrassment at the poor planning of their enemies and awkwardness at being remotely associated with this disaster of an coup
‘Klaus looked disgusted’ yep that’s definitely it.
The Wulfenbach Empire understanding that most Sparks really only want praise, a space to work, something to challenge them and someone to make sure they eat is hilarious.
Worldbuilding in the form of universe specific bigotry is my jam. The way constructs get portrayed as comic relief in pop culture due to a culture of discrimination is ingenious. I also appreciate the touch that Klaus has strong and public opinions on this though I suppose it’s not that surprising considering he himself is one in some sense.
I think Lilith teaching music and dance is a new detail and it’s nice to flesh their lives out more, it fits what little we know about her really well.
They are such good parents and this is just adorable
That’s all for now, I’ll pick it up again later!

TBHX episode 4 rant
Okay if I had a nickel every time they ended an episode with Moon being shot in the head... we all know where I'm going and that's concerning. Two main thoughts about the cliffhanger:
THANK GOD EPISODE TWO WASN'T A FAKEOUT
I hate it, if only for the fact that it pulled our focus away from so many important things that happened in the chapter, hello??? I hate that our final takeaway is "Moon got shot again" instead of a number of other things
We start with the most important things first; last episode rant I was asking whether we should just resign ourselves to Lin Ling being unhappy as Nice for the rest of his life and lmao I have never been more happy to be given the most solid answer I could have hoped for.
However, important implication here; I believe this means trust value is a two way system. In order to work:
Trust must be given by people (fans believing in 'Nice'/Lin Ling)
Trust must be accepted by the other party (Lin Ling accepting that he wants to become/is 'Nice'/himself)
And this brings up a really fascinating question: "can multiples of the same hero exist?" The answer should be yes - we see in cases like The Johnnies that trust value can be given to a team as a whole instead of each individual component. Can the mantle of a hero also be split this way? Will that ease the burden?
And in that same vein, would any hero who decides they are no longer their moniker be able to step away from their burdens and expectations just as easily? If yes, which I believe it is, what happens to Lin Ling if he ever wants to go back to a regular life?
That being said I love the naming of this episode, absolute genius, and the way it was presented, absolute cinema. Personally I'm regarding this point as the conclusion of Lin Ling's current arc and I have to say, these last four episodes had us on a rollercoaster. Lin Ling realising he didn't actually want to be Nice, but a hero was peak and I love that he got to get to it on his own terms.
And while I love the introduction of Jeopardy (that song has no right being so badass) I found it interesting that in this particular scene when Lin Ling is finally defeating God Eye, it's Paragon that plays. He gave up being Nice. Why are we getting Nice's theme song here?
That's not all, we still have more questions: If Lin Ling is now 10, what rankings are the ones on the official website???
Why I'm not considering this part of the arc as of now is because it's unfinished, clearly there for cliffhanger value, and it's very likely that we will all change our minds about this later when more information is given because the whole thing is fishy. How does Moon recognize Lin Ling, who she's never seen before? Why is E-Soul or a lookalike there, and why are they positioned behind Moon while the shot came from the side? Was episode 1 a premonition, or was someone trying to warn Lin Ling? Time will tell.
And while I will be really mad if it turns out Moon is alive after that (AGAIN) part of me is hoping she is because give this girl a break man, wtf?? At least give her a proper vacation, or a death in dignity, as her own person, and not an accessory to a man!
Other (less important to me) things:
Blankster was an interesting study for several reasons, the biggest being how powers can evolve beyond their origin function, aka how strong punches evolved not just in strength but also in terms of memory loss. Given Blankster's boxer origins, this makes so much sense, and I thought it was a really clever way to reference concussions. Secondly, Treeman made it too easy for God Eye, come on! It also showed how corporate really doesn't give a shit about Moon as soon as she left; they just viewed her as a liability. From the episode's start, they didn't care about saving her.
It's also nice (haha, pun not intended) to finally have at least one name to these faces. So these are the hero agency heads. Interesting, and makes sense. Now we only need to figure out who the hooded figure is and the intro's main pain points will be less painful (not really).
And finally, God Eye. I can't help but feel he fell kinda flat. Last ep I had high hopes for him being set up as Lin Ling's nemesis, and he did to an extent, embody that with his "there are no real heroes in this era" talk but then along came Lin Ling shedding the Nice persona to prove him wrong. Where does that leave him? Was he only a gimmick for the Lin Ling arc? I feel there should be more.
After all, we still don't know whose fear is channelling God Eye, and how it came be taken away. By making him a laughing stock, perhaps?
I knew episodes 5-7 were going to be E-Soul centered, but I have to hand it to the team, this was one hell of a way to transition viewpoints.

A Marvel Newcomer's Thoughts on The Avengers (2012)
>SPOILERS AHEAD<
It's been a while since I posted my last review (TLDR I now have a job). So on my week off, I decided to do a lil bit of catching up. And now dear GOD it's time to watch (and mayhap cringe) at The Avengers. Let's dive right in.
OK so first and foremost, what the FUCK are they doing to the Tesseract?? Secondly, how the FUCK is Loki alive??? I mean, he's a god and Asgardians are thought to be immortal, but holy shit.
For the "Robin Scherbatsky" comment at the end of my review on Captain America, Smulders played Agent Maria Hill. She was kind of a badass, but I have no fucking idea how the fuck she survived the cave collapsing around her in the beginning.
The movie was fast-paced and action-packed, just the way I like them. Every character was snarky and lovable... except for Thor (for the most part). I am not a huge fan of Thor. Not just the movie apparently; the whole character of Thor. His "he's adopted" line was GOLD, but his character was otherwise pretty dull. Yes, it was fascinating to watch him and Iron Man get in a fight and really cool to watch him light the Empire State Building up. Otherwise, anything with Thor was lowkey dull.
Loki, however, made for an entertaining villain. Him destroying the car was very amusing. I turned to my boyfriend and said "Damn, Loki really just said fuck the police" and he visibly cringed at my comment. Loki was very snarky and egotistical and amusing. The SFX for his armor were amazing.
Speaking of SFX... the Chitauri look absolutely terrifying, though I'm mad at their name. My phone kept auto-correcting them to "chianti" as I was taking notes, which is NOT the same thing. Maybe the Chitauri drink chianti, who knows? Chianti-Chitauri mix-ups aside (try saying THAT five times fast), there were so many tense scenes and amazing lines and funny moments throughout the film.
OK, so, Tony Stark honestly should've been named Tony Snark because good LORD, that man knows how to fit in some great one-liners. He's witty and a lot more lovable than he was in Iron Man (2008). My favorite moment of his was either when he Jonah-ed the Chitauri ship or when he flew the nuke to the Chitauri. I was so scared for him and so glad when he woke up. And him adrenalized talking about shawarma... I was giggling like a maniac.
Hawkeye... I felt so bad for the poor guy in the beginning, so when he came back around I was cheering like crazy. He had some insane shots and funny moments, and God DAMN him shooting the Chitauri blind was GORGEOUS. And him shooting at Loki with the arrow... I fucking loved watching Loki catching it and then promptly getting exploded. He's an insane shot and an entertaining watch.
And Widow? WHAT. A. BADASS. I love her so much. Her beating the shit out of some Russian dudes while Coulson was on the phone was just hilarious. She outwitted Loki so beautifully that I was totally blown away. I lowkey ship her and Hawkeye TBH, but I suppose you never know with the MCU. Either way, she was an absolute unit. Her using Cap's shield to commandeer a Chitauri ship... what a moment!
TBH, my favorite hero is probably Cap. He's just... a guy. The $10 scenes between him and Fury were AMAZING. Him silently handing Fury the money was personally the funniest moment in the film. I will say, however, Cap's pre-costume outfit was ATROCIOUS. A plaid shirt with tweed pants?? WTF???? He saved so many civilians and showed down the cops when they challenged him in the process. The "Hulk? Smash." line was gold, and him using his shield to refract Iron Man's beam... what a genius idea. Cap is 100% one of my favorite characters in the MCU thus far.
My other candidate for favorite hero is the Hulk. Ho. Lee. Fuck. He's not quite as witty as Iron Man or as badass as Widow, but he seems very well-rounded overall. Him beating the shit out of Loki was one of my favorite moments by far, and him saving Iron Man had me in tears. I'd honestly forgotten all about him by that point. My notes for the Hulk saving Iron Man scene were as follows:
omg iron man sending the nuke to the chianti??? (fuck you autocorrect) TONY NOOOOO NUKE EM ALL BUT NOOOOO TONY YES HULLKKKKKK YESSSSSSSSSS TONY?!?! NO YESSS HULK I LOVE YOU please tell me nobody kissed me lmao
So yeah, Hulk is 100% in the A-tier of characters, possibly even S tier. I really need to make a tierlist now, huh?
Nick Fury has made his way into my higher-tier characters as well. Him telling the council that they made a stupid-ass decision made me cackle like a damn hyena. Him telling the Avengers about Coulson's cards had me broken up, but Hill calling him on his BS made me understand his motivation to assemble the Avengers. He's a bit crazy, pretty smart, and HELA (see what I did there with the Asgardian joke?!?!) entertaining.
The ending was something I should've predicted - a hidden safety in the device. It's an easily guessed plot "twist," but I genuinely didn't expect it. And Stark tower being Avengers tower... I should've seen THAT coming but it was still cool either way.
I'm adding a new segment just before my rating called "Tidbits in Rivals" for when I recognize a power, weapon, or random line that the say in the game. Here they are:
Loki's scepter
Loki's clones & stealth abilities
The "Puny God" achievement (I predicted the line before my boyfriend, and he's seen the film before)
Hawkeye/Black Widow having a team-up for reasons other than being snipers
Iron Man missiles
My rating: 8/10. There was a MAGNIFICENT lack of elongated muskrats and stellar SFX. The writing was amazing and very intense, though slightly campy at parts. So much snark from Iron Man, Banner, Fury, Pepper, and Loki. RIP Coulson, you will be very much missed. Thank you for serving as the Avengers' catalyst though.

Twisted Wonderland x Avengers AU
A/N: I know some of the heroes below are not part of the Avengers, but they are the marvel heroes that fitted the characters best. Below, an extended version of a thought I had while watching the avengers (while having twisted wonderland brain rot, mind you). Hope you enjoy!
Warning: Lazy language, I wrote it down in a rush. I might make a more thought-out version later on, while rewatching the movies.
What if… Housewardens were superheroes and the other dorm members were their teammates? And like the avengers are the mission where all housewardens work together to save the world from the worst.
Heartslabyul — Captain America. No explanation needed- I mean, Riddle obsession with following rules do fit captain america moral code that he follows through and through. But ig it’ll be Captain Roseheart? Captain Rose? Captain Britain? Lol idk but Riddle totally is the more serious/leader like of all the housewardens, I feel. I am not quite sure for the others, Trey as Bucky? Childhood friends separated by unfortunate reasons whose paths recross after years. I like the idea! Ace & Deuce as the new generation of heroes Riddle has to train? Ideas, ideas.
Savanaclaw — Obviously Leona would be a very lazy black panther. But in a world where Leona still has a little ambition, he decided to protect the land from outsiders by becoming “black lion” and saving the citizens. Like please I’m in love with black lion Leona. In the end of the first movie we see like black panther talking to an audience about opening wakanda land and I see like this could be Farena??
Octavinelle — Let’s be fr, Aquaman = Octoman. Don’t ask where I get that from. But yeah, I think Aquaman is the only ocean-hero in marvel, so ofc we’ll have to make it fit. I watched the movie so long ago so I don’t have many memories but yea. The story would be like he was a wealthy seamen who decided to go on earth to do business, but it was hard to adapt to land even with his two eels friends. While he is on earth, his home is getting attacked by aliens/idk and when he comes back he discovers near everything is destroyed. Those guys were looking for the legendary trident who disappeared. Azul finds it: he decides to save his people. Why? BENEFIT, YOU FOOLS! Royalty will be forever in debt to him, citizens will throw themself in the deals of the one who saved them!
Scarabia — Kalim is very spiderman coded. It’ll give an interesting dynamic with Iron man (idia) since we have the overly excited sunshine x mentor introvert. He’d be the crazy rich kid with a hero complex using his money for good, and Jamil would be the poor servant pulled in Kalim’s chaos. Like they both get bitten because idk, Kalim thought it’d be fun to take a closer look (spider), Jamil being scared of bugs dissuading him and… Pouf! Kalim yelps in surprise when he gets bitten, Jamil as the good servant he was trained to be runs to him, only for the spider to feel anxious and bite Jamil too. Abracadabra, two spidermen! May Jamil blood pressure rest in peace.
Pomefiore — Black widow and the dude that shoots arrow?! ITS SO PERFECT! Plus I absolutely love black widow, she’s an icon. She’s sexy and badass, need more to talk about Vil? And she’s friend with hawk (i think??) the dude who shoots arrow, so like, Rook?? But rooks a hunter, so maybe Huntman? As a superhero name idk. Their dynamic would be so dope. And when black widow is like iron man “assistant” it’ll give mad interactions too?? When she beats the guy down in the ring when he says “rule number 1, don’t look away from the enemy–” BAM. Vil when he flipped Floyd over, same vibe.
Ignyhide — No need to spin the wheel, Idia IS Iron-man! Like, please be fr??? Genius and rich family working on high-tech? Isn’t that the Shroud description? Like Ortho would be Shervice (no idea how to write it but like the assistant Tony created that became Ultron afterwards).
I feel like the moment in the game where Idia says “I’m the Boss” does fit the character of Tony a bit, and like… Idia created the armor for “fun” but ended up discovering a new way to use gamma rays/scientist shit and yeah.
Diasomnia — MALLEUS IS THOR ! Like. The way of talking. The foreign chosen one who is lost on earth. Long hair. Incredible strength. Thunder. Heir to the throne. It’s yelling Malleus. Also, SIlver and Sebek can be those friends that helped him escape Asgard with (Loki) to fight the black elves. It fits so weeeeeell. And weirdly Lilia does give a Loki a vibe, but meeeeh. Not sure yet. Anyway, I love the idea of malleus being Thor (and the human he falls for is Yuu, or Idia. Who knows.)

If I had a nickel for every time two lesbians got into a fight after one of them tried to commandeer a futuristic ship, and one of the lesbians was a dumb idiot jock with a good heart who does not remember her past, only that she came from some distant place in deep space, and the dumb idiot jock lesbian was raised by an old-ass woman with scars completely covering her face, and she has a sword which serves as her weapon and her hand and possibly her cuddly toy, and the one of the lesbians was an evil genius who is also an idiot, but only when it comes to feelings, and has trauma as deep and dark as the chasm she was raised in (which is very deep, and very dark!), and harbours the world's saddest, most all-encompassing crush on the dumb idiot jock lesbian which everyone, quite literally everyone knows about except for her, gasp for air–
And the lesbians get really angee at each other, so they other friends, and the DIJL (take a wild guess as to what that stands for) makes friends with a bunch of really kind and really powerful people, and the idiot is confused because she never felt this "love" thing before, and the evil genius/sapphic mess befriends a dude (gender-neutral) who sold their innocence and childhood to the devil for books! (relatable)–and that person is a genius with the social aptitude of a cantaloupe, except later we find that they actually do know what's going on around them, they're just so deeply incredibly nerdy that no one notices that they are totally badass and will fuck you up, deep inhale–
And then the lesbians attend a formal event where they are friends with sexual tension for a bit, and then they go back to being angee until, Oh no!–the world is now Weirdmaggedon, which results in the death of an actually mature adult woman who we thought didn't have issues, but actually is deeply fucked up inside, and the idiot lesbian has to stop the apocalypse, but this only further increases the rift between the two, but then the evil genius/soft whimpering mess is lifted into space, away from the love-of-her-life-whom-she-doesn't-even-know-she-likes-but-would-actually-fall-on-an-iron-spike-for, but she would actually prefer said spike over ever coming to terms with her feelings, and the evil genius now works with an intergalactic super-empire which rules the observable universe, but she has hallucinations from her childhood (if you could call it that), and she then realises that, shit, I'm just maybe a little bit of a soft, sad, hopeless disaster for one dude (gender neutral) waving a sword around, dramatic gulp for air–
Meanwhile said lesbian with a sword finds out that she is only one piece in a grand plot to harness the ambient energy of her planet, a plan which has been stewing for actual millennia at this point, and it turns out that she's been systematically lied to by the people around her, which makes her big mad, so she starts thwacking her sword at the weird, vaguely animal-looking soldiers sent down by an unfathomably powerful space monster, wheeze–
Meanwhile meanwhile in space, the evil genius/soggy kitten (figurative and literal) actually finds out that oh, it's not actually normal that every time she sees the idiot lesbian, she gets the overwhelming urge to spit in the idiot's face, then lick it off, because bbygirl is disturbed and affection is difficult, okay?–so she almost, almost properly reunites with the other lesbian, but then our hearts are once again torn, still beating, from our ribcage and impaled with a rusty iron spke when, oh no! they have to save the world again...
Meanwhile meanwhile meanwhile in a far-off planet the smart one, their bestie, and another person with a weird gender situation work to raise their family and kill god.
I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

what are you hoping for in ninth house 3? hopefully we get it in 2026 :(
i swear i have leigh bardugo's instagram notifications turned on for when that announcement inevitably comes, fingers crossed it's next year!!
as for what i'm hoping for, oh man. buckle up, it's gonna be a long one.
turner's spidey sense coming in clutch bcuz it just sounded too much like magic to me at times
dawes finally finishing her thesis (i think it was on tarot cards)?? i want to know more abt the topic and it feels like such a chekov's gun to include it at all so i hope it will somehow become relevant in its own way, even if not in a major one
on a similar note, i want darlington's thesis project too!! his magical map of new haven, which michelle/the dean thought was a stupid idea except it's actually genius. idk if it could help hunting the demons or if he even has the capability of finishing it now that he's not himself anymore but idc. i want it. and while we're on the note of darlington - everything about him. new haven lore nerding, witty remarks, losing control, swearing (preferably in a love confession mhm iktr). i wouldn't be mad if he's somehow "cured" from being a demon but i think it would be much cooler if we get to watch him come to terms with it instead, learn to accept himself and adjust to what he is now instead of fighting it (something we got a hint for at the end of hell bent)
darlingstern. and the crowd cheered! everything about them. they don't feel like a lovey dovey/romantic couple but i wish they could sit down and talk about everything they know abt each other that they never meant to learn, abt carrying parts of each other now. i want angst, tension, intimacy, implicit trust, and whatever the hell kind of crack bardugo put in their twisted power dynamic in hell bent. i want them fighting demons alongside one another in the most badass way possible.
alex has been coming into her own ever since darlington went to spain (the s is silent) but i can't wait for her to find out what she really is and learn the extent of her power and use it to wreak absolute havoc among the demons (and maybe the societies?). i won't forget her promise for revenge to reiter at the end of hell bent. i also kinda hope we get something abt her father's side of the family
tripp. just tripp. silly goofy guy, now demon, what's up with that?
the societies need to be brought to their knees, like are we kidding? they're all incredibly corrupt, including lethe, the one who's supposed to be keeping them all in check - something needs to change there big time and i have a feeling alex will be the catalyst for it by brute force and darlington with his ideas. we are the shepherds.
thanks for the question <3 feel free to let me know what you're hoping for!!

The Doctor and their love interests (I haven’t watched Doctors 4-8 yet so I can only include Delgado’s Master for Classic love interests):
Delgado!Master - I know we’re supposed to be enemies but wouldn’t it be the funniest thing if we openly pine for each other and offer zero heterosexual explanation whatsoever for our relationship?
Rose Tyler - Wow, an awesome human who tries to unionise every alien species ever, I hope you’re single- what do you mean you’re dating someone called Mickey? Wait, you’re single now? That’s great!… Where did you go?
Captain Jack Harkness - You’re a chill guy but your military involvement and the fact that you can’t die are kinda red flags for me, not gonna lie.
Martha Jones - Lol you wish.
Professor Yana - Awesome, a mad genius human… you’re my ex, aren’t you?
Simm!Master - I’m honestly so glad you’re not single right now because there’s too much to unpack here.
River Song - Wow, an incredible badass who reminds me a lot of my first ex, I hope you’re single… what do you mean you’re not? What do you mean I’m your husband? Stop saying “spoilers”!
Clara Oswald - Incredible, a slightly reckless human, I hope you’re single- okay so I hate your boyfriend… he died? Awesome, except it would be a bit awkward to start dating just as he died, wouldn’t it? Oh no, you died…
Missy - Alright, so you’re actually being a reasonable person for once, probably not because of the eighty years you spent trapped in my vault whilst I talked your ear off about morality…
Agent O - Are you… are you actually just a nice regular human who wants to help me, with no trauma or hidden agendas? Oh for Rassilon’s sake, how can you be my ex again?!
Dhawan!Master - Okay, I get that you’re upset but now we’re both traumatised and did that help anyone? I really don’t think it did.
Yasmin Khan - Listen Yaz, I like you a lot but there’s an awful lot going on in my life right now so I’m not convinced that a proper relationship would really work for you and me, sorry.
Rogue - I’ve only known you for ten minutes but you’re hot, you remind me of my ex - my ex and my wife actually - when they’re not trying to kill me, and you’re available, so do you wanna travel the stars with me?

EWAN MITCHELL INTERVIEWED BY NME MAGAZINE.
WHERE DID YOU WATCH THE 'HOUSE OF THE DRAGON' SEASON TWO FINALE?
“I watched it yesterday on my TV.”
“Just with a few friends.”
IN THE FINALE, THE WAR THAT'S BEEN BREWING DIDN'T HAPPEN – WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT FANS WILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER TWO YEARS FOR THE CONFLICT?
“The wait will be worth it!”
SOME FANS HAVE COMPLAINED IT WAS A SLOW SEASON – WHAT DID YOU THINK?
“I think there’s moments for everyone.”
“What I love about Aemond… it’s like he can’t sit still.”
“He has to be moving.”
“And he possesses such a kind of catalytic energy that whenever he’s on screen, you know something’s gonna happen.”
“So it’s nice.”
“And the Council Table, there’s so much conflict between these relationships that we all share around this table that I loved to dive into.”
AEMOND'S BECOME A FAN FAVOURITE...
“Yeah.”
“I’m not on social media, but the fan mail that I received is so well articulated, and it’s often badass to listen to the reaction.”
WHAT DID YOU THINK OF DAEMON'S PROPHETIC THRONES-LIKE VISION IN THE FINALE?
“I haven’t seen Game Of Thrones.”
“But I understood that the moments with the White Walkers and you had Daenerys with the three dragons… they’re callbacks, but they’re also glimpses into the future.”
“It’s quite genius to link the two shows in that regard, through magic.”
SO DID YOU DECIDE DELIBERATELY NOT TO WATCH GAME OF THRONES WHEN YOU WERE CAST? AND WILL YOU WATCH IT ONE DAY?
“Yeah, when this show finishes up, I’d love to get around to watching Game Of Thrones.”
“It was just always a choice that I made when I landed the role.”
“I didn’t want to watch it and have it consciously – or subconsciously – affect my choices for my character…”
“I really wanted to draw from other worlds and areas of pop culture and different sources of inspiration.”
HAVE YOU HAD MUCH CONTACT WITH GEORGE R.R. MARTIN HIMSELF?
“No, I haven’t, but he’s definitely a man’s brain I’d like to pick for sure.”
“I’d love to meet him and talk about all things Aemond.”
THIS WAS AN EIGHT-EPISODE SEASON. WOULD YOU, IN SOME RESPECTS, LIKED TO HAVE SEEN A COUPLE MORE EPISODES TO EXPAND THE STORYLINE?
“I just think the more House Of The Dragon the better, you know?”
“I just love exploring Aemond and I can’t wait to explore even more so in the next season.”
SO WHAT ARE YOU ANTICIPATING FOR HIM IN SEASON THREE?
“They’ve always said that Targaryens are closer to Gods than men… but after episode seven with 'The Red Sowing,' that kind of put that belief into question.”
“The divide between the common folk and Dragonlords isn’t as big as what it was thought to be.”
“And so it kind of puts all Targaryens… we’re just like common folk.”
“And I think Aemond, he retaliates in such a way (that you see in episode eight) that’s quite desperate.”
“He literally begs his sister, Helaena, to join him on dragonback to take out Daemon.”
“Going into season three, there’s certainly a blockade that needs to be broken.”
DAEMON USES THE IMMORTAL PHRASE, “WINTER IS COMING” IN THE SEASON TWO FINALE. DO YOU FEEL LIKE SEASON THREE WILL BE AN MUCH DARKER?
“I think so.”
“They say that when a Targaryen is born, they get to toss a coin.”
“One side is greatness and the other side is madness.”
“And we’ve got a whole family of these guys.”
“So you could argue this is probably the craziest we’ve ever seen Westeros.”
“And next season, they’re going to be at each other’s throats.”
