Dan is Trigon

So! The Teen Titans had been chasing down a Cult lately, and they had finally managed to track down their main bases location.

Unfortunately, they got there just a bit too late and the Summoning Ritual they had been preforming was finished. The Being they had been calling crawled up and out of the Circle drawn in Blood on the floor.

And Raven felt her heart Stop. Because that Being crawling it's way out of the Summoning Circle looked almost exactly like her Father's True Form. But also different.

Where her Father's hair was a White Flame, this one's hair looked like Freshly Fallen Snow. Instead of her Father's Blood Red Skin, this being had Icy Blue Skin. And most strikingly, In place of her Father's Piercing Red Eyes, this being had Lazarus Green Eyes.

But even with all those changes, she could still the similarities in the Bone Structure, the shape of the Jaw, and most importantly the Untold Power radiating off of them.

Before they could react, the Being turned its attention to the Cultists.

"Who Dares Summon, the Ghost King?"

"We do, Out Lord Pariah Dark! We Beseech Thee, take this unclean world and tear it down! Cleanse the World of its Filth!"

"Oh Goddammit, not again." Said the Being, "Look, Pariah hasn't been in Power for Centuries. I, am Phantom. And I don't do the whole 'Destroy all Worlds' thing, you want your own constellation? I'm your guy. Otherwise? Bite it."

"Bu-But my Lord! We summoned you to-"

"Yeah how about no." Said the unimpressed God, "Here, let me send you guys Home. I'll give you guys some riches or something as compensation, but that's it."

And with that, the God snapped its fingers and the cultists disappeared.

"Now, who are you kids?" He turned to them.

Robin stepped forward, "We are the Teen Titans, and originally we came to stop them from Summoning you. Now, I honestly don't know what to do..."

"Oh, you guys are Heroes! That's interesting, I don't come across worlds with Heroes very often." Said the Ghost King, "The last one was the one with those Revengers or whatever they called themselves. The Spider Totem was fun to talk to, and Thor is always..."

As Phantom mumbled to himself, Raven stepped up. "King Phantom, I have a Question. Why do you resemble the true form or Trigon so closely? As his Daughter, I can recognize your similarities easily, and I was curious."

The King stopped dead.

"...daughter?"

"Oh, yes. Trigon is my father, though obviously I haven't talked to him recently." She explained.

"...that asshole." He said, "How could he not tell me I had a NIECE!?"

FACTS. Last time Louis said Daniel was "disrespectful," the boy'd gotten fangs to the jugular and Armand had to jump in to "save your life." But Daniel's excuse for what happened in SanFran was just "I was high." 🥴

Well, what about now? Are you high NOW, gushing about Sexy-Claudia Halloween costumes while her father's struggling to not talk about her being SA'd!? 🤬 Then he had the nerve to get up and SLAP LOUIS across the face for giving him a seizure--I hated Daniel right then & there. (I love his role as a plot device challenging/pushing the narrative forward, his scenes are always excellent; but as a person Daniel's down there with Florence DPDL & Antoinette. 💀)

And that scene happened BEFORE Dr Fareed showed up in Ep6 and started injecting Daniel with mystery-juice, so the Drugged Daniel theory doesn't work to defend/excuse his behavior either.

Daniel's just disrespectful, high or sober, young or old, books/film/show.

And now in S2's he's being pissy when Loumand clowned him for brushing off his wife announcing she was pregnant with daughters that don't even speak to Daniel. 🙄🤡 YAH. Stop throwing stones at glass houses, Daniel. Any professional journalist who acted that way would've been fired LONG ago--but he KNOWS Louis needs him to stay and finish the interview. Louis' stuck with this mofo, for better or worse. 😔

Matter fact. If I was a vampire and I paid an old friend to interview me before he died and he talked to me and my current husband and talked about my DEAD child and ex husband the way Daniel do? Im doing more than making fun of him, I'm knocking him in his bulbous forehead like he's a beluga fuckin whale

Was there any classes you had to take to be a storyboard artist? I’m thinking of going into a field like that!

I took an online course (Not telling which one because their whole thing significantly dropped in quality over time)

and that was pretty much it. But to be fair - I had decent amount of experience of drawing comics beforehand. It helped significantly because I was already familiar with the concept of visual storytelling through composition and expressions.

I was like. CRAZY passionate about learning to storyboard so I was doing all the homework and watching aaall the lessons and then they were giving optional homework for people who wanted to really lock in and optional-optional little things that no one even expected us to draw. But I was making ALL of them. All the time.

So when the course ended my teacher was like goddamn you got a lot of energy in you huh? And he contacted one producer he knew and basically went "hey I have one student who has zero experience but will work and learn really hard"

And that producer went "Okay I trust you" and hired me without interview haha
