Aaron is Gemma!! Aaron is absolutely the dead wife haunting the narrative (except he's not a wife here? tbh I wasn't even planning for this to be kevaaron lmao but now that we're here it makes sense. I don't think they're like, in a relationship at the beginning though I think they're just close, homoerotic frenemies. idk)
Jean is Irv. As an innie, he rigidly sticks to the rules and has both a fear and respect for the company. As an outie, he's quietly tracking down current and former employees and trying to send messages across the severance barrier.
Ok we've obviously diverged from tv canon bc Andrew lives and Kevin is not in a weird love triangle between Neil and Aaron, STICK WITH ME:
Renee is Burt. Did some terrible things in her past, she's trying to be a better person, bam, severance. On the inside she's very similar: strong work ethic, looks out for her team (and Jean). On the outside, she's a double agent and we're not sure who's side she's on... but she's still trying to protect Jean.
Milchick is Riko? This is my hottest take and I'm not 100% committed to it but I'm not sure who else I would put there...
