Soñé que estaba en un departamento, que me recordaba a cuando vivía en Vidrio, aunque la ubicación parecía ser más bien en Paseos de Sol. Estaba sentado en la mesa con Alemán, quien me preguntaba si era una buena zona para comprar una casa. Yo le respond��a que sí, pero que había escasez de agua y que debería asegurarse de que había suficiente agua donde planeaba vivir.

Luego me encontraba en una llanura seca junto a un río. En algún momento, me cruzaba con Mau, pero continuaba caminando y veía edificios a medio construir y abandonados, todos sin techo. Dentro de uno de estos edificios, había un hombre y una mujer haciendo el amor sobre una colchoneta en el suelo, mientras alrededor crecía la hierba. Seguía caminando por este lugar medio inhóspito.

I dreamt I was in an apartment, reminiscent of when I lived in Vidrio, though it seemed to be located in Paseos de Sol. I was sitting at a table with Alemán, who asked if it was a good area to buy a house. I told him yes, but there was a water shortage, and he should ensure there was sufficient water where he planned to live.

I then found myself on a dry plain next to a river. At one point, I crossed paths with Mau but kept walking and saw buildings half-built and abandoned, all roofless. Inside one of these buildings, a man and a woman were making love on a mattress on the ground, with grass growing around them. I continued walking through this somewhat inhospitable place.

Заброшенный отель Gletscher Belvedere в Швейцарии.

Отель «Бельведер» на Фурка - самый известный отель на перевале в мире. Был построен в 1882 г. семьей Зайлер из Вале на повороте новой дороги, откуда открываются лучшие виды на Альпы и в близости от главной достопримечательности - ледника Ронегг.

Потом ледник отступил , его уже стало не видно из отеля. Но Бельведер стал популярным объектом съемок . Сам Джеймс Бонд в 1965 году промчался по Фурке на своем Aston Martin, миновав Бельведер.

В период своего расцвета в конце XIX века, отель вмещал до 90 путешественников. Гостиница расширялась.

В 1920-х годах автобусы и железная дорога, привозили гостей на ледник. Поездки были рассчитаны с ночевкой. С появлением легкового транспорта они превратились в однодневные поездки туда и обратно. Гости, которые раньше оставались на ночь, теперь успевали посетить знаменитый ледник Рона с его восхитительным гротом, а в отеле лишь пообедать или просто выпить чашку чая. Да и сам ледник, из-за глобального потепления настолько удалился и потерял свою привлекательность, что желающих увидеть необычную красоту уменьшилось.

В 1988 отель купила семья из Брюгге. Поддерживать старинное здание в рабочем состоянии было тяжело и в 2015 году они закрылись. Отель выставлен на продажу.

The Belvedere Hotel on the Furka Pass is the most famous hotel on the pass in the world. It was built in 1882 by the Sailer family from Valais at the turn of the new road, offering the best views of the Alps and close to the main attraction - the Ronegg Glacier.

Then the glacier retreated, it was no longer visible from the hotel. But the Belvedere became a popular filming location. James Bond himself raced along the Furka Pass in his Aston Martin in 1965, passing the Belvedere.

In its heyday at the end of the 19th century, the hotel accommodated up to 90 travelers. The hotel expanded.

In the 1920s, buses and the railway brought guests to the glacier. The trips were designed with an overnight stay. With the advent of passenger transport, they turned into one-day trips there and back. Guests who used to stay overnight now had time to visit the famous Rhone glacier with its amazing grotto, and only had lunch or just a cup of tea at the hotel. And the glacier itself, due to global warming, has become so remote and lost its appeal that there are fewer people wanting to see the unusual beauty.

In 1988, the hotel was bought by a family from Bruges. It was difficult to maintain the old building in working order, and in 2015 they closed. The hotel is up for sale.

Александровский пассаж – это изумительный архитектурный памятник построенный в духе модерна и барокко. Архитектором великого творения стал Генрих Руш.

В конце 19-го века один из богатейших казанских купцов Александр Александров решился на возведение грандиозного по тем временам торгового здания. Строительные работы шли на протяжении 4 лет и обошлись в баснословную по тем временам сумму – 800 тысяч рублей! В 1883 году глазам казанцев предстало уникальное строение, в честь своего основателя получившее название Александровский пассаж. Особенно выделялось стеклянное покрытие внутреннего двора, которое должно было покорить казанских жителей. Так же в здании было свое воздушное отопление и лифт, который в те времена были в диковинку.

Главный вход (на ул. Кремлёвскую) акцентирован на высоту 2 этажей портиком с двумя скульптурными фигурами кариатид. Фасады оформлены эклектичным архитектурным декором с преобладанием барочно-ренессансных элементов. Главный купол фасада украшен часами, спроектироваными выдающимся мастером Йоханом Войле. Башенные часы исправно работали до самой смерти Александрова и за это время останавливались только 2 раза – в день женитьбы и в день рождения дочери купца. После того, как сердце основателя пассажа перестало биться, стрелки часов замерли на одном месте и с тех пор никто не может запустить механизм Интерьеры здания украшены фигурами ��юдей, изображениями масок лиц, лепными украшениями. Элементы декора, которые использовались при внешнем оформлении здания, неоднократно дублируются. Большинство принадлежит к масонским символам, так как главный архитектор пассажа Генрих Руш был членом этого тайного ордена. Лишь один из них не повторяется – так называемые «зубастые рыбки», которые находятся неподалеку от парадного входа.В середине центрального здания находится светильник — бронзовая статуя женщины, держащей за руку младенца.

После смерти Александрова его сестра передала пассаж Казани и попросила городские власти обустроить в нем публичный музей.  Однако для городского музея здание оказалось непригодным и здесь разместили меблированные комнаты и магазины. К концу советского периода здание оказалось в состоянии, близком к аварийному. В 1977 году произошло сильное обрушение, из-за ослабевших грунтов произошло проседание его северного угла. Около 30 лет здание было закрыто на реконструкцию. С тех пор здание Пассажа постоянно покупают и продают, но какие-то ощутимые работы судя по всему внутри так и не ведутся.

The main entrance (on Kremlevskaya Street) is accentuated by a portico with two sculptural figures of caryatids at a height of 2 floors. The facades are decorated with eclectic architectural decor with a predominance of Baroque and Renaissance elements. The main dome of the facade is decorated with a clock designed by the outstanding master Johan Voyle. The tower clock worked properly until Alexandrov's death and during this time it stopped only 2 times - on his wedding day and on the birthday of the merchant's daughter. After the heart of the founder of the passage stopped beating, the clock hands froze in one place and since then no one has been able to start the mechanism. The interiors of the building are decorated with figures of people, images of face masks, stucco decorations. The decorative elements that were used in the exterior design of the building are repeatedly duplicated. Most of them belong to Masonic symbols, since the main architect of the passage, Heinrich Rusch, was a member of this secret order. Only one of them is not repeated - the so-called "toothy fish", which are located near the main entrance. In the middle of the central building there is a lamp - a bronze statue of a woman holding a baby's hand. After Aleksandrov's death, his sister gave the Passage to Kazan and asked the city authorities to set up a public museum in it. However, the building turned out to be unsuitable for a city museum and furnished rooms and shops were placed there. By the end of the Soviet period, the building was in a state close to emergency. In 1977, a strong collapse occurred, due to weakened soils, its northern corner subsided. The building was closed for reconstruction for about 30 years. Since then, the Passage building has been constantly bought and sold, but apparently no significant work has been done inside.
