I have this oc for all the fandoms I like lol, I just change the clothes and a little of the personality. In this universe she's a lonely loser that likes plants a little too much.Also likes Crowe a little too much...

Today I'm finishing up my collection of original Genshin Impact characters, and figuring out a new format! ✨✏️ It was really fun to do a full breakdown of all the little things that go into crafting a Genshin character design like this! Magic reveal au where the druids have been writing prophecies about Merlin and Arthur centuries before they were even born, so among the magical creatures, they are already extremely well known. Well, one day,(before Morgana turns evil) a group of patrols who were supposed to patrol the border to Cedric's kingdom didn't come back. Arthur decides to go check it out himself, and of course, he brings Merlin. Once they arrive and find the scouts (now dead), they stumble upon some kind of magic creature that is vaugly human attempting to help an injured scout. Arthur questions of the creature did this, and the creature says something along the lines of "by Morgana no! I would never hurt Camelot knights. You guys have some of the best caves to hang out in."

Arthur is like, "tf you mean 'by Morgana'?" And the creature kinda give him a look and is like "yaknow, Morgana, the greatest witch of our time, the dark sorceress?" And Arthur promptly is like "SORCERESS? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" The creature notices the symbol on his cape and is like, "Oh, you're from Camelot, nvm." And Arthur is like, "I am the prince of Camelot and you will tell me," or something like that. Then the creature is like, "...are you the arthur pendragon?" So arthur is like "obviously, " and she turns to Merlin with an almost scared expression and is like, "Is that... the Merlin?" And when she gets confirmation that that is, in fact, merlin, they quickly bow their head and start stammering apologies for their rudness. Arthur is losing his mind, merlin is sweating and trying to say that they have him confused with someone else, and the knight is like actively dying on the floor.

So. This is. Not what I sat down to do. But here's a messy doodle of Bug and another character intensely important to his story: Canary! (Canary is basically a Swad (Ate the apple, 'evil' twin, has a rotating group of guys who find susceptible universes and convince them to worship Canary in turn for help fixing their aus. Canary *also* stumbled across Bug and tried to manipulate him. It didn't work right, task failed successfully, Bug identified Canary as a safe-space instead :] )

/I miss writing dynamics between characters , but this is really a me issue I should strive to correct, but even then, I I still find myself yearning like a cold animal by the road-

Spoilers for my VN but I'm an oversharer of a dev so <3

Writing how MC enters every ship is fascinating because it's so different depending on the route. In all of them your shuttle malfunctions but it happens differently, which I think is fun

In In-soo's route/Waverider path you actually get to pilot your malfunctioning shuttle and there is a chance for you to die if you fail. If you survive, you confront In-soo about it and they hit you with the "Are you implying the IRC ships have poor safety regulations? I won't tolerate such accusations from an outsider to my crew" and you just have to seethe about it because they're your boss now and an insufferable corporation bootlicker. (They apologize once it's proven that the shuttle was indeed defective. They're also proud of you for piloting the shuttle successfully. Piloting is important to them, you see. They are a strange person).

In Steven's route, you get straight up sucked into The Argent Rose's force field and pass out while your shuttle practically implodes and the escape pod gets ejected. What caused you to blank out? Who knows! Weird! Steven himself gets you out of it and very kindly guides you to your room. He's the only captain to ensure your safety himself. You don't even know he's the captain at first. He's just so nice, but very strange things keep happening around him and you're not sure if you're hallucinating. This is certainly a little deadly.

In Suhaila's route, you get straight up launched into space in your suit and float around in absolute terror, trying to hold on for dear life to the debris if the shuttle not to slip away into the cosmos. You can also die! Fun! If you hold on for long enough and manage to approach the ship, you'll get pulled into the Star Lion's docking bay by Cowan, Suhaila's right hand man. You're taken to her office right away and she thoroughly apologizes. She's stiff, she's awkward, and she's very evidently ashamed of what's happened. She dismisses you quickly. You wonder what's up with her.

In Thioro's route, your shuttle is intercepted by the Medical Bay ship immediately and you get pulled out in time. You watch it explode from inside the Medical Bay next to Thioro, shaking like a leaf. Or not. You can decide how you feel about that. She performs a check up on you, and immediately calls Earth Station to update them on this. She's strangely quiet for such a bubbly woman, though . When questioned, she deflects, and although she's very pleasant, you can't shake the feeling that something is awfully wrong.

Orchid and Horror doodles! (More context under the cut!)

Orchid is an errormare ship kid! She was made from loose magic in a bid to make an heir for Nightmare so that he could give Dream even more hell than before. However, the child he'd intended to train into a weapon ended up being far too cute, so he raised her right instead.

Horror was one of Orchid's main influences as a babybones, because Horror was pretty much the only one who'd looked out for his brother in his own au. Night trusted him to be around her from the start (Dust and Killer didn't recieve that same trust) so as much as Orchid most certainly knew Night was her father, Horror was her Uncle from the start. He knew how to raise a babybones and helped Night learn (with actual hands-on learning instead of his books).

Of course, Horror was also her main influence even after her bad injury (cracked open her skull and snapped off her leg). The rest of the household coddled her, rightfully so, but she didn't like the taste of their pity and wirry. She would more often than not try to keep up a brave face up until Horror arrived, and then she'd dig into his jacket and cry and tell him all about her woes. Little kid logic on this one I guess.

And of course he didn't always know how to help, but he tried not to take away her freedom now that she was injured. Obviously her bed-rest days were important, but he'd carry her around on her better days and have her watch him cook or train. She picked up most of her swearwords from Horror, and she loves to use his hands-on fighting style when she's older too.

Horror was the reason she grew less ashamed of her head wound and loss of death perception. He never treated her too differently about it, and one day during an outburst, Nightmare told her that Horror had the same injury as her, in a way. That had almost immediately changed her perspective.

And yeag, idk. I just really wanted to finally draw Orchid with her favorite uncle. She might've gotten all her magic lessons from Nightmare, but her combat style is built on the base which Horror gave to her.

Idk if I posted this or not, but Orchid is on the right! She usually uses her 'Spindles' to move, but Post-Eternal Ashes and very shortly after her injury she uses these canes(???) To get around a lot more often. As a kid Horror and Dust taught her how to keep her balance on her one leg and move quickly using these crutches so she wasn't vulnerable if her magic was restricted. (Don't mind Shotput on the left, he's unrelated. Just didn't wanna crop it weird.)
