Okay but it's super interesting how

Din = Power = Ganondorf

Naryu = Wisdom = Zelda

Farore = Courage = Link.

Because Din, in the hylian creation myth, created the physical world. Naryu then created the laws - gravity, time, etc. And Farore finally created life - plants and people.

Din created the body, naryu the mind, Farore the soul.

And the triforce and its wielders so perfectly reflect that.

Ganon is physical power, he is big and intimidating and he breaks things. He is cunning and determined, but that's not what he focuses on. He is might makes right.

Zelda is wisdom and cleverness. She is stall tactics and information and team work. She is a powerful mage with a spine of steel, but that's not how she'll win. She is the pen being mightier than the sword.

Link is courage and persistence. He is the wild card sneaking behind enemy ranks, always moving, plunging into terrifying situations head first. He's a phenomenal fighter with a keen wit, but that's not what will get him through his challenges. He is bravery not being the absence of fear but the triumph over it.

They sit in perfect parallels to each other.

And ganon is reborn through his body - his resurrection is immortality. No matter how low he is cast, as long as he has a body he can claw his way back. He can cling to his power, build it ever higher.

Zelda is reborn through the magic of her bloodline. It's the accumulated knowledge handed down for generations, the unique power she must master, the skills she must develop to survive and get her kingdom out the other side intact. Even her name, the knowledge of herself, is handed down from all the way from the very first. Her ancestors knowledge of her future presence, her stability, is what gives her the edge.

Link is reborn in spirit. He is not bound by flesh or blood. Just like his wanderlust soul he can reappear in any time or place. His variation, his unpredictability, is exactly how he fights. It's what makes him so hard to pin down.

Ganons need to build strength means he can't chase after link. Links impulsiveness means zelda can outwit him. Zeldas stationary predictability means she's an easy target for ganon.

But the other direction?

Fire melts ice, ice redirects lightning, lightning burns fire.

And that's the very essence of the triforce.

Do you have any headcanon about why during the event of Weirdmageddon, the invisible barrier around Gravity Falls and the surrounding area created by the Natural Law of Weirdness Magnetism, had become a physical barrier that prevented Bill and the Henchmaniacs of leaving the town? And why a equation would be able to collapse the barrier?

Yeah, because they were too weird.

If somebody has like 1 Cuil worth of weirdness in their body, then the weirdness magnet would exert 1 Cuil worth of force dragging their body into town. ("What's a Cuil?" it's a unit of measurement we're appropriating because there AREN'T any IRL units to measure weirdness, just roll with it.) The weirdness of an irregularly shaped jelly bean is like, 0.1 Cuils; so 0.1 Cuils is a strong enough force to counteract the force of gravity on an object that weighs as much as a jelly bean. Ford's weirdness is like, .5 Cuils, so the force dragging him toward Gravity Falls is like,, the same as the amount of force that it would take to make 5 jellybeans roll uphill. Enough to feel a small tug but it's not gonna physically drag Ford into town.

Bill has trillions upon trillions of Cuils worth of weirdness in his body.

The force dragging him into town is like unto the force of a black hole, and the barrier is its event horizon. Bill ain't escaping that event horizon.

As long as Bill's in town, his weirdness is adding to the "mass" of weirdness in town dragging everybody in, so it's sucking like a black hole on everything. Ain't nobody escaping that event horizon.

People take "there's a simple equation to collapse the barrier" too literally.

If I told you "there's a simple equation to halve the amount of cookies this recipe produces," that doesn't mean "if you write a mathematical equation on a piece of paper, this will somehow cause half the cookies to disappear." It means "you take your recipe and its ingredients, you divide all the ingredient measurements by 2 (a simple equation!), and now the recipe will make half as many cookies."

An action (unknown) needs to be performed to collapse the barrier. There is an equation to calculate the (force, direction, weight, duration, wavelength, temperature, whatever) of the action, and maybe even to narrow down what kind of action it needs to be. Ford knows what that equation is.

Instead of giving his victims summoners a heart attack, he decides to go for a more… Matrix approach. Incorporate a little humor into an otherwise terrifying experience.

Rather than a red pill and a blue pill though, he gives out a bright green glowing pill and piece of candy. He definitely gets annoyed more people don’t go for the candy. Just because it’s clearly the wrong answer doesn’t mean you should miss the opportunity for a delicious snack!

- His main considerations/worries seem to be: how this will change his perception/experience of the world & going through the risks of the transformation itself

- Has been thinking about making the change for years

- When you meet him he's wearing a skull mask, basically lich drag

- Path to lichdom is buried in hidden knowledge & whispered secrets

- Needs to prove himself to a bureaucratic council to do it. Specifically a 'weighing of his soul' that he is doing it for the 'right reasons' & 'won't regret it'

- Rook waiting for him outside of his big surgery

- Anxieties over whether romanced Rook will still be into him as a lich

- Formally coming out as a lich to the group. Even if they were accepting, some of them are still weird about it 🤷 (and getting outed by Harding/vorgoth!!)
