A day in a life of our technicians:

First of all, a good sunny day – started the day with first key duplication job for the BMW X5 2012, the customer drove in the store (30 Howard pl unit 1) for the job, we had to get the cas4out, read the car key data with ACDP module, copied the data and then pasted it, to generate the duplicate key. After generating the key with the data, we had to cut the second key and the job was done.

The second job was in Guelph, Ontario, customer needed second key for his Chevrolet Spark 2014. First decoded the door cylinder, second key cutting, third program key ignition ‘sometimes you have a 10-minute wait for adding a key or all keys lost’.

For the third performance went to a dealership that required some keys cut and programming - the first car was a Hyundai Tucson 2017, it needed a key transponder and the second car was Hyundai Elantra 2012.

Yanhua ACDP Mini Read Write MSD80 / MSD802 DME ISN

This job to read write MSD80/MSD802 DME ISN can be done by Yanhua ACDP Mini.

All you need:

Yanhua ACDP Mini main unit, €166

ACDP Module 3 (only read MSD802), €175

MSD802 ISN Interface Board (if you need to write) €32

Notes:

1.Please connect ACDP with DME properly, don’t cut the power nor pull out the device during the programming, carefully backup the ISN data;

2.Programming is needed for reading the DME ISN, and it may cause risk, please consider before moving ahead;

3.If reading the ISN ended with an error, please use Winkfp or ISTAP to program the DME to work status, then proceed to read ISN again.

Okay, here we go for procedure:

Step 1. Please prepare ACDP, OBP+ICP adaptation, PCAN line and DME.

Step 2. Connect the PCAN line correctly to the DME interface as shown.

Step 3. Short the CAN resistor on the OBP + ICP adapter to the “CAN-R Join”.

Step 4. Connect the ACDP, OBP+ICP adapter, PCAN line and DME.

Step 5. Connect ACDP, OBP+ICP adapter, interface board and DME.

Next is to operate in the Mini ACDP software:

You can install Mini ACDP software in Android / IOS phone, or in the PC.

How to Solve Yanhua ACDP “does not obtain authorization of A802” Error

After the Yanhua Mini ACDP bonded, it shows the device does not obtain the authorization of the relevant function,show as below.So here OBD2TOOL share this guide on how to solve this problem.

Procedures:

1.Please make sure the IOS version is 1.8.4 or above,and Android version is 3.0.92 or above, as shown:

2.There is a paster with authorization code on the module box,take off the green security seal and clean up the QR code.

3.Make sure the ACDP has bounded successfully,and click “me”

4.Click “module list”

5.Click “ADD”

6.Click “Scan QR Code” to start scanning the QR code on the paster or type the authorization card（Capital letters only）

7.Check the authorization card number and click “Submit” after confirmed.

8.When the prompt comes with authorization success,click “OK”

9When the prompt comes with refreshing authorization info success,click “OK”

10If you want more module authorization info,please click “ADD”for more.

11If you change another phone or PC,after the ACDP bounded,please click “Refresh”to download your authorization info.

Yanhua Mini ACDP 2 Add 2024 Volvo XC-90 Key Success

This 2024 Volvo XC-90 CEM has a new style, there it only has 3 plugs instead of the usual 6 plugs on it. To program the 2023- new car, I'll need to use the Yanhua Mini ACDP 2&Module 20 License + CEM Interface Board together. The Mini ACDP is doing a fantastic job.

After connecting, go to the Mini ACDP APP: Volvo >> XC90(2022-) >> Read CEM data by ICP >> SPC5748G(VOLVO-24) The chip connection is good. Reading data, please wait... The backup file succeeded! Please save the CEM password data.

Volvo >> XC90(2022-) >> OBD detect >> OK Connect the ACDP to the vehicle OBDII port and press the engine start button. Turn on the ignition. We can see the current key is 2.

Add key/all key lost >> OK Please make sure the CEM module has been installed. Connect the ACDP to the vehicle OBDII port and press the engine start button. Turn on the ignition. OK >> OK

Please select CEM password data. Please put the smart key you need to match in the key recognition area of the cup holder or the hand-held box. Current number of keys: 3 The new key has been successfully added.

Check the new key, it can normally work. Done.

Mini ACDP with BMW FEM/BDC module can support FEM/BDC IMMO key programming by ICP or OBP mode. Compared with the traditional wiring mode, what’s the difference between them? Method 1: FEM/BDC programming by other devices via soldering When using this method, it needs 2 times to disassemble and solder the 95128/95256 chip of FEM/BDC to read and write data.

Disadvantages: 1. Soldering wire is needed, the operation is complicated and the time is long. 2.95128/95256 memory chip of FEM/BDC needs to be dismantled and welded twice, and there is a risk of module damage. 3. Yanhua Mini ACDP Tutorials: CAS4/CAS4+ Key Programming/ Adds Key

This article is to share the customers with Yanhua Mini ACDP Tutorials on CAS4/CAS4+ Key Programming/ Adds Key

Operation Procedures:

Firstly, remove the CAS4 module of the vehicle and it is under the steering wheel.

What we need to prepare:

Check all the stuff needed: CAS4 module, CAS4 copper pillar, CAS4 interface board, BDM adapter, a working key and a new blank key, 20PIN cable, BAV-KEY adapter, OBP+ICP adapter, ACDP host.

Install the copper pillar and align DI-D4 test points like this:

Lock the board with copper pillar and PCB lock; Connect the OBP+ICP adapter and BDM adapter, then connect BDM adapter and CAS4 interface board

Connect ACDP host and power up the ACDP.

Start the key programming test:

Tap “ACDP” app>>BMW>>cas1-4>>CAS4/CAS4+>>ICP mode

Then, find out where the mask ID is and based on it, choose the second one “5M48H”.

Tap “IMMO”>>Read CAS4 EEPROM
