Oh man the Melons! I had nearly forgotten that one. That’s like four years ago now? They were fun though. I should try that challenge again now that the ts4 genetics aren’t so weird.

7. oddbxll Do what makes you happy! I know it may sound cheesy, but it’s 100% true. I knew from the start that I wanted my game to be cute and about aliens, so this is where that idea has taken me. I wouldn’t have it any other way. And I’m so glad my Simblr makes me think of your childhood! I relive many aspects of my own childhood with my sims <3 So that is my advice. Do what makes you feel comfortable and in your zone!

No worries, there’re a lot of abbreviations in this community, aren’t there? It stands for Bachelor Challenge, which means it’s basically like the TV shows ‘The Bachelor’ (which I’ve never watched tbh) but with sims. Different people reserve places and send you sims in the hopes of competing for the love of your Bachelor sim :)

I don’t think I’d be brave enough to ask my Mr. He’ll probably give names I really don’t like O.o Or… he’ll give me the same one every time. One of our guinea-pigs is called Cecil (see-sil) and he’s obsessed with the name. Odd bod that he is.

Haha, mine just give me game characters he likes or youtubers. We have three bunnies, one named Lewis Vincent and the other Simone Embla, after people in the Yogscast on Youtube xD The last one I named so her name is Theodora Astrid xD

Awh, have you tried using a cute female sim as a base? Like for Dana, I made Aella first, made her a twin brother and just tweaked until Dana became the super cutie that he is~

Lol! I used to watch Yogscast a lot. But I haven’t for a very long time!! I named the other Guinea-pig Oreo. He’s a mixture of colors with a white stripe going down his side; like the cream in an Oreo :P The BF calls him ‘Cecil’s friend’ O.o

N’awww, Oreo :D that is so cute! And I think your friend is a tad bit obsessed with this Cecil xD

Oh well xD I just decide on a letter and then I use names I like. If I ever wonder what to call them I just ask my husband (and get really weird replies :P)

Haha, I love studying. I could easily end up like those weird people at the library who have studied for like fifty years xD Careerwise I want to live off of writing, actually. So norse is more like an interest than an actual career choice xP I guess I could work as a professor or researcher within the field, though. Like a really nerdy version of indiana jones, but instead of opening catacombs and such I’ll be freezing to death on Iceland :P

It actually is really exciting! But I am nervous because I need a good grade. I want to take a duo-bachelor in comparative literature and norse history and literature, but the latter won’t be “official” per say, so if I want to take a master in norse philology I must really impress my teachers .. uh... yeah I know that probably doesn’t sound as exciting as it feels xD

Woooh! :D It was worth preordering, I am loving it! I never really liked Open for Business or Ambitions (I am so lazy, and I found it clunky) but Get to Work is a lot more intuitive and the gameplay is more fun. Only problem I am having is that my game keeps on crashing at a certain point... think it might be a CC conflict :/

Omgosh I’m so sorry to hear your in so much pain!! I hope you manage to get the insurance you need soon so you get better!! ♥ I live in the UK so it surprised me how much it would cost you!!! And I complain about how much it costs here :( Gosh!

thanks love ♥ Yeah, dental care costs so much here, and since I’m not at school anymore I couldn’t be on my mom’s insurance anymore, so I have to get my own (once i get my health care card) and I’m not even sure if the free insurance comes with dental care so I might not even be able to go to the dentist for a long while :/ (yay for becoming an adult ;-;)
