Introduction

Hey, I'm Adam V. So, this is gonna be my side blog. I'm a pretty new member of @eklesia-system and I've fronted so much since I formed that I'm already a system host.

I'm pretty much canon-aligned. Everything that happened in the show, happened to me. Of course I'm also influenced by stuff Cy's made to take place in their developing "season 3" comic series and the headcanons expressed in that project. THAT is technically my source.

Sigh... obligatory disclaimer that this is NOT a roleplay account. I am a fictive, which is a type of alter in a plural system or a multiple with OSDD/DID whose source is a fictional character.

I am NOT Adam from the Hollow but I don't mind being treated as the source. Ask me questions you would ask canon Adam. I encourage it. :)

henry/hurl. 10/10. it is an integral part of many types of system dynamics to have one guy who is there and another guy who is also there the key difference being the second guy just has their tits out 24/7

jakob/jesse. I staunchly believe that the “unborn twin” thing is just a lie and these two actually just. have DID. because genuinely before I figured some stuff out that is what my headmates told me. so. however jakob sucks so they don’t get to be first place

timothy/zoe/everyone else in his head. technically this is ghostie weirdness but 1) i love ghostie weirdness can i claim it? i love it it’s great 2) the conversations they have are possibly the best depiction of intersys dynamics i’ve ever seen. if anyone was wondering what’s going on in my brain during like. a math test or something. it’s that it’s literally just that. the whole slenderman musical is plural

raven/david. this was originally gonna be lower/tied with the next one but these two actually talk to each other. however i do feel like their relationship is an equally good (or maybe even better but ik it’s super subjective lol) metaphor for many other topics. but i love them and my understanding of their characters is DEFINITELY heavily influenced by my own plurality and experiences. so *shrug*

I mean it Journal the hell out of everything, I feel like it's more important than ever to journal about your day, your life! Offline if you can, hook up some headphones and enjoy a good song and write. Write about your day, your experience because it is so important.

Hiii I did that thing where introjects edit source images to how they remember their friends bc I felt silly. So heres how I remember everyone as a Vanessa introject + some memories I have of them :3

(if u dont know what introjects are I made a post u can read here! Also note that these are my Memories and will be different from canon!)

I dont remember Adam being much different from source, I didn't hang out one-on-one with him much unless we were hanging our with the group and we were left alone with each other in a room. He was chill I just didn't have much to talk with him about 😭

-His hair was black, unlike how ppl draw him with brown (/lh) -His eyes were a very muted brown, almost grey looking -He had very faint freckles and moles above and near his eyes

Kai I remember very vividly because I always went to his place on Sundays to play video games and try to beat him. We would bond over our shitty parents, our interest in tech, and how our Tism[TM] effected our relationships, I saw him as a little brother.

-His hair was a darker copper instead of brown -His eyes were a dark green -He had cuts on his hands from dismembering tech (his ass was NOT careful /ref) -He had so many freckles. So many.

Mira was easy bc we have a Mira fictive in the sys as well so she just edited herself 😭 not much to say abt her aside from how we're dating in headspace and have memories of going on double dates with Adam and Kai :))

-She has a mix of a jellyfish haircut with curtain bangs, it's also a Lot fluffier than in source -Her eyes are light green (so pretty. literally could stare at them for hours) -She has a faint scar on her cheek, as well as SH scars on her arms and legs, which is why she covers them in source -FRECKLES <33333

Reeve is an easy one too, we'd game together and try to one-up each other every time. He helped me dye my hair whenever my roots came in bc he could literally not comprehend seeing me blonde. In Hollow Life we would have annual smoke seshes in honor of Skeet whenever his death date came around.

-His hair was dark brown with a tint of black (he dyed it but it faded LMAO) -His eyes were dark blue -He had scars from the game (as we all do)

Skeet is harder to remember, my memories of him are fuzzy. He was my oldest friend, met him when I was 11 and we just clicked from there. His door was always open and he was always willing to listen when I needed it, he was just a great friend in general.

-His hair was more of a dustier yellow instead of that weird obnoxious yellow from source -He had heterochromia, his left eye was green and right was blue -He had scattered freckles -Some cuts on his arms/hands from skateboarding, always had bandaids on him bc of falling

And that just leaves me last! I'm the same as Adam I think, not too unrecognizable from source but still different.

-My eyes are amber and more goldish than brown -I have dark circles bc Insomnia Is A Bitch -My shirt is a solid color in headspace instead of patterned with different shades of purple -I have SH scars as well and I am Not ashamed of them nor do I cover them up -I have a snaggle tooth that sticks out the side of my mouth. Just think Cat Tooth and thats it basically

And honestly I need more fictive positivity to share. And more fictives to share their experiences with being fictives instead of people talking ABOUT fictives.

Here’s some positivity for fictive-heavy systems!

While some people might insist that a system having lots of fictives means they’re faking or invalid in some way, this is absolutely not the case! In fact, fictive-heavy systems have always been and will always be special, valued, and integral members of the plural community. So this post is for every system with lots of fictive members!

Is your system made up entirely of fictives? That’s perfectly fine, and your system is valid and lovely just the way it is! It’s okay to have only fictives in your system, and your system is still a precious and important part of the plural community!

Do the fictives in your system hold important roles, regularly help take care of your system, do things like handle chores, work, or school, and play a big role in your system’s functioning overall? That’s amazing! And we’re so happy to hear the fictives in your system are so able and willing to help out - their efforts are recognized and so very appreciated!

Whether your system’s fictives love their sources and are very connected to them, don’t want anything to do with their sources and are separating from them, feel indifferent to their sources, or anything else, remember there’s no wrong way to think or feel about your source! As long as your system’s fictives are staying safe and happy, it’s okay for them to identify as they wish! It’s not “cringe” to be a fictive and also be fictionkin, to have your source as your special interest/hyperfixation, or to want to engage in your source actively!

It’s okay if your system’s fictives are often lost and confused, if they struggle to determine exomemories from real memories, or feel disconnected from themselves because they’re in the real world and not their source! It’s okay if your system’s fictives don’t have any exomemories, or feel like they firmly belong in the real world without sharing any connections to their source! There’s no wrong way to be a headmate or a fictive, and their experiences are real, valid, and important just the way they are!

We hope all you fictive-heavy systems can find peace, joy, belonging, and self-acceptance today and every day! Know that you are so special and important, and you are a cherished part of the plural community just the way you are! We hope you can continue to make the most of life and find pleasure in the mundane and camaraderie with the rest of your headmates! I'm suddenly getting REALLY excited for ch&t season 2. Like it came out of nowhere. I'm especially excited for Fennel, Adam, and Natsume to get some voice lines!!!

I'm really hoping that it'll come out this year; no pressure on Blue Mayfield of course because I'm sure running a podcast is hard work, I'm just. SO EXCITED. If I have to wait much longer I think I might explode.

Aaaand a new season is also probably the closest I'll get to seeing Jedidiah, Natsume, and the counselors again... (aside from making friends with someone who's a fictionkin/fictive/introject of them, but idk if that'll ever happen)

Still freaking out about Jeddie's new VA though, that will certainly be hard to get used to....
