Also Adam probably wasn't even ready in the way that I think trill hosts are supposed to be fully formed adults at the time of joining and Adam is canonically nineteen when he's possessed. But also possibly *he* was dying and Michael saved him in exchange for using him as a host? It would go with the fact that Adam died and was revived in canon.

Anyway, not dissimilar to a trill, I now have brainworms about this.

Things we should have seen on screen:

- Adam making a joke and Michael bursting into uncontrollable laughter.

- Michael making a joke and Adam snorting up whatever he was drinking through his nose. (Michael apologizes but Adam isn't even mad, it was funny af.)

- Both of those happening while they're using the same body so Sam and Dean (or whoever is there) only see one half of it respectively and go 'Uuuuh you okay there?' and just. Absolutely get ignored by Adam/Michael both times.

Okay but his little laugh here is SO telling. Dean's like 'he lets you be?!' and Adam's like. 'Uuuhhhhh. Dude. of course my husband lets me be, wtf else would he do'

like he thinks it's FUNNY! and absurd, the thought that Michael would not let him talk or be. This man has one (1) extremely whipped archangel husband who is SO indulgent and looks after him SO well and Adam is just. happy and glad to have an archangel inside of him who lets him eat exactly how many burgers he wants and also wraps him up safe inside to protect him the instant that a threat arises, he's HAPPY with this arrangement
