Question that I suspect is autism related
I have, on more than one occasion over multiple decades, been told that I “need to have the last word” and that I “have a response for everything”.
Additionally and in a similar vein, I’ve been told that “everything is an argument with you” and I “always have to say something”.
When I was a little kid I was bad at conversations. People said stuff I had no opinion on or didn’t need follow-up and so I wouldn’t answer and they’d get bored. And eventually through trial and error I figured out that if someone said something to me, all I had to do was say something related back, and the interaction could go on as long as it needed to.
But then as a teen- and now as an adult- a number of people (mostly people I’ve found to be very delicate and particular about things in a sort of need-to-be-in-control authoritarian way) have expressed the identical observation about how I naturally try to converse, and I’m not sure what to do about it.
And the thing is, I have a sibling that talks like this too. We bicker all the time. He changes his own opinions seemingly at a whim for the purpose of being contrary, and it’s impossible to make a statement or observation out loud without him contradicting it, and even when he is demonstrably, factually wrong about something, he will dig his heels into the dirt and defend his stance to the grave.
And like. I hear myself responding, or adding on to people’s comments, but I don’t hear the ‘arguing’ they describe, or the contrarian habits of my sibling. Even when I’m paying attention and being bery careful not to follow up too much or speak too often or disagree or correct something that isn’t important, I get called out for “picking a fight”. They say something, I answer, they reply, I continue, then seemingly out of nowhere they snap. I think everything’s fine until suddenly it isn’t.
And so I guess my question is, how can you tell if you’re a contrary sort of person? How can you tell when to respond or follow up on a person’s statement and how do you know when to leave it in silence? Does everybody see me this way, and is it only people who are already short-tempered who are willing to say it?
I honestly don’t really have that much to say, and half the time I don’t even really want to talk at all, but I’ve been told countless times that I “just seem to like the sound of your own voice” and have to just be “tuned out after a while”. So if it isn’t necessary and I don’t even want to, why am I doing it?
Is there a reason I’m like this? Why is my sibling like this? How do I stop talking when there’s nothing to say, and how can I tell the difference between a conversation and an argument before the other person visibly snaps?
I’m a full grown adult

Hello! I'd like to please request a little scenario for multiple characters if possible; I'm especially interested in your take on this with Law, Sanji and Ace given their backstory. If you're open to writing for the ladies as well then adding Robin into the mix would be appreciated! My idea is simple; an S/O with a child, and the aftermath of discovering that fact. I don't mind if it's an established relationship and there just wasn't an opportunity to meet the kid before or something else, I just like the idea of these characters dealing with the concept of surprise family/parenthood, the angst that may arise from dealing with the role of a stepparent if they want a relationship (and its happy ending if possible!) Good luck with all the requests, I hope you have fun with them!

The wind blows soft through the port town. Law steps off the ship, coat flapping behind him, hands in his pockets. He’s quieter than usual, eyes scanning the street ahead. He’s not here on a mission. He’s here for you.
You sent a letter three weeks ago.
Just one line: “I need to talk. Come if you can.”
Law doesn’t like surprises. But he comes.
He finds you standing outside a small house with peeling paint and flower pots on the windowsill. You smile when you see him, but it’s tight, like you’re scared.
He frowns “You alright?”
You nod “Yeah… I just—can we go inside? I don’t want to do this out here.”
Law follows you in. It’s warm. Smells like soup and soap. A small jacket hangs on a hook by the door. Not yours. Too small.
His sharp eyes catch it, but he doesn’t say anything yet.
You lead him to the living room and sit. He stands. Watches you.
You look down “There’s something I never told you.”
Law’s voice is low “I figured.”
You breathe in deep “I… have a kid.”
Silence.
You look up. His face is unreadable. Like ice. You hate that expression, it means he’s trying to think without feeling. To stay calm.
He speaks finally “How old?”
You blink “She’s five.”
He does the math. That means before him.
“She yours?” he asks, even though he already knows.
You nod “Yes. Mine. The... other parent's gone. Completely.”
He nods slowly. His voice is cold, but not cruel “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I was scared.” You twist your hands “We met during a war. We never talked about kids, or… futures. Then we got together, and things felt good. I didn’t want to ruin it.”
“You thought this would ruin it?”
“I thought you might walk away.”
He looks away “You didn’t trust me.”
“That’s not fair,” you say, standing now too “I’ve been through things. I didn’t know how you’d react. You’re not… You don’t talk about family. You barely talk about your past.”
His jaw tenses. You hit a nerve.
You try softer “I wanted to wait for the right moment. But there never was one. Until now.”
Silence again.
Then small footsteps.
You freeze.
Law turns just as a tiny figure walks into the room, clutching a stuffed rabbit.
“Who’s this?”
Her eyes are big, curious. Law stares.
You kneel “Sweetheart, this is Law. He’s… He’s my friend.”
Law doesn’t speak. He just looks. She hides behind your leg.
You don’t blame her.
“She’s shy,” you say “But she’s smart. She reads pirates like storybooks.”
Law kneels too, finally, lowering himself to her level. His voice softens.
“I’m not here to hurt anyone,” he says “I’m just… surprised.”
Your daughter peeks out “You talk funny.”
Law blinks.
You laugh nervously “He’s from the North Blue.”
“Oh.” She tilts her head “Do you have a boat?”
Law nods “A submarine.”
Her eyes widen “Cool…”
She steps forward. He doesn’t move.
Then she offers her rabbit “You wanna hold Mr. Bun?”
You almost cry.
Law takes it. Careful. Gentle. Like it’s glass.
He looks at you over her head. Still unsure. Still quiet.
But he’s here, and he’s not walking away.
The rabbit sits on the table between you.
Law hasn’t said much since dinner. He eats quietly, politely. Your daughter sits beside him, munching rice balls like they’re treasure. She’s talking to him. A lot.
“Do submarines have beds?”
“Yes.”
“Do you sleep in them?”
“Sometimes.”
“Do you dream of fish?”
“…No.”
You nearly laugh into your cup. Law sends you a look. It says help me. You shrug. You’re doing fine.
When she finishes eating, you ask her to brush her teeth. She runs off with Mr. Bun in her arms. The house falls quiet again.
Law leans back in his chair.
“You didn’t even flinch,” you say “When she offered you the rabbit.”
He shrugs “She trusted me. I didn’t want to break that.”
You nod, chewing on your lip “That means a lot, Law.”
He looks at you. Eyes sharp but not cold “I’m not angry.”
“Really?”
“I’m hurt.” His voice is honest now “You didn’t tell me. I could’ve helped. Been there. Or at least known what I was walking into.”
“I know,” you whisper “I was scared. I didn’t want to push you away.”
“I’m not made of glass, Y/N. I’ve lost family. I’ve lost everything. But I never said I didn’t want to build something new.”
You look down at your hands “She’s my whole world.”
“I can see that.”
“And now that you’ve met her… what do you want?”
He pauses.
That pause stretches long and sharp between you.
Then, softly “I don’t know.”
You nod. You expected that. You’re not mad. Just scared again.
Law stands and walks to the window “She’s a good kid. Brave. You raised her well.”
You smile a little “She’s got my temper.”
“I noticed.”
You walk over to him. You both stare outside. The moon is bright tonight.
“I’m not asking you to be her father,” you say “You don’t have to… take that role if you don’t want it.”
He turns “What if I want to?”
Your breath catches.
“I don’t know how to be that,” he continues “A father. A parent. I’m… I’m a surgeon. A pirate. I know how to fight, how to cut, how to survive. Not how to raise a child.”
You place your hand over his “She doesn’t need perfect. Just present. Just kind. Even I didn’t know how to be a good parent.”
He watches you. Something cracks in his expression.
“I want you.” he says.
“I want you too.”
“But I can’t lie to you… I’m afraid. I don’t want to mess this up.”
You squeeze his hand “We’ll learn together. She’s not looking for perfect either. She just wants someone who doesn’t leave.”
That hits hard.
He nods and then tiny footsteps again.
Your daughter peeks from the hallway “Hey... can he read me a story?”
Law blinks “Me?”
She nods “You have a cool voice.”
You laugh softly “What do you say?”
He hesitates. Then walks over.
“Alright, let’s try.” he says “But only one.”
She beams.
You stand in the hallway, listening through the door. His voice is low, slow, careful. Reading a picture book about sea creatures. She’s tucked in, eyes half-closed. The rabbit is between them on the bed.
Law finishes the page. She murmurs, “You’re not scary like someone said.”
You gasp quietly. Betrayal.
Law chuckles “Someone said that?”
“Mhm. They said you’re all sharp eyes and brooding. But you’re kinda soft.”
Law mutters, “I am never going to live that down.”
You grin and walk back to the living room.
He stays. Finishes the story. Even tucks her in.
When he comes out, he looks… changed.
“You did good.” you say.
“I didn’t even sweat.”
“Liar.”
He sighs, then smirks “Okay, maybe a little.”
You take his hand again “So…”
“So.” he echoes.
“You staying the night?”
He raises a brow “You asking?”
You smile “I have tea. And a couch. Or a bed, if you behave.”
He smirks “I’ll try my best.”
── .✦ Sanji:

Sanji flirts with you every time he sees you.
At the market “Ah, Y/N! Did the sun rise just to see your face today?”
At the docks “Want me to carry those for you, my love? Your hands are far too lovely for heavy lifting!”
Even after the battle in your city, where the Strawhats helped “You’re even more beautiful covered in blood. Should I be worried about how much I love that?”
You never fall for it. You roll your eyes. You walk away. You don’t even blush.
It drives him insane.
“You’re difficult to get,” he says one afternoon, following you through town “but I like that.”
“I don’t fall,” you say flatly “Especially not for men with hearts in their eyes.”
“Ahhh, but my heart is sincere!”
You stop and face him “Sanji. You don’t even know me.”
“I want to.”
You pause. He’s annoying, yes. But not bad. He’s never pushed you too far. Never said anything mean. Just flirty. Charming. Too charming.
You sigh “Fine. You want to know me?”
He lights up “Yes! Of course!”
“Then come with me.”
You lead him through town, away from the market, away from the noise. Into a quiet part of the island. A garden path. A small house tucked in the trees.
He’s still smiling “So this is where the beautiful Y/N hides. A date, then?”
You don’t answer. You open the door. Inside, it’s neat. Warm. Lived-in. There are toys in the corner. A tiny pair of shoes by the door.
Sanji frowns “Is this… your house?”
“Wait here.” you say.
You go into the back room. A few seconds later, you return, holding a small child. Sleepy-eyed. Holding a stuffed whale. While another lady leaves the house as if her job there is finished.
You look Sanji in the eye.
“This is my daughter.”
Sanji freezes.
Dead silent.
You wait.
You expect a nervous laugh. A fast goodbye. A dramatic “I’m not ready for this!” speech.
But it doesn’t come.
Instead…
“Her hair’s like yours,” he says softly “She’s beautiful.”
Your daughter rubs her eyes, looks at him “Who’s that?”
You answer “Just... a friend.”
Sanji kneels slowly “Hi, sweetheart. I’m Sanji. Can I say hello?”
She shrugs. He waves. She waves back with the whale.
“Nice to meet you, Mr. Whale.” Sanji says seriously.
You blink.
She giggles.
You didn’t expect this.
You make tea. Sanji helps. He insists, actually.
“She can’t have sugar this late.” you say.
“Then honey,” he says “Gentle on the stomach.”
You watch as he puts her cup in front of her like a butler. Bows. She bows back. You nearly choke on your tea.
“Do you cook?” she asks.
“Oh yes,” he says “Better than anyone.”
She claps “Make us dinner!”
Sanji glances at you. You nod. Why not?
He makes a simple meal. It smells amazing. Your daughter eats two full plates.
After, she sits in his lap and shows him a book of sea animals. He listens. Really listens.
You don’t understand what’s happening.
You were trying to scare him away.
Instead, he’s… perfect.
When she falls asleep, he carries her to her bed. Quiet. Gentle.
He tucks her in, fixes her whale beside her, and kisses her forehead.
You follow him back to the living room in silence.
“Well...” you say, still confused “That wasn’t what I expected.”
He smiles but smaller this time. Softer.
“I flirt because it’s fun,” he says “But I stayed because I wanted to see you.”
You stare at him “You weren’t scared?”
“I was shocked,” he admits “But not scared. You’re a single parent. That’s strong. She’s lucky to have you.”
You look away “I thought it would make you leave.”
“I’m not that easy to get rid of.”
You smile at that and look at him again. This time longer.
Sanji isn’t just charm. He’s heart. He’s warmth.
And… maybe you were wrong about him.
Your daughter’s asleep.
Sanji’s sitting on the couch, arms stretched over the backrest like he belongs there. His jacket is off, sleeves rolled up, and a soft smile on his lips.
He looks so… calm. Like this is normal. Like he wants this.
You sit across from him, legs tucked under you. You sip your tea. Your hands are shaking just a little, but you hide it well.
“Thanks for dinner,” you say “She loved it.”
“She’s adorable,” he says, smiling “And polite. You’ve done an amazing job.”
You stare into your cup “I didn’t do it alone. But… it’s been a long time since I shared her with someone.”
Sanji watches you quietly. No teasing now. Just listening.
You swallow. Here goes nothing.
“So,” you say “I’ve decided something.”
He leans forward “Oh?”
You lift your eyes to meet his “I’m saying yes.”
His brows lift “Yes to what?”
You smile “A date.”
He freezes “Wait. A—really?”
You nod.
“I mean, I’ve been asking for weeks, but I thought you hated me.”
“I didn’t hate you,” you say “I just didn’t believe you.”
“And now?”
“Now I do.”
He stares at you for a second. Then a slow, beautiful grin spreads across his face. Like he’s won a war. Like the clouds finally moved for the sun.
He exhales like he’s been holding his breath for days.
“You—you have no idea what this means to me, Y/N.”
You chuckle “I might have some idea.”
“Do you want flowers? Candles? Music? Should I wear a suit? I’ll cook, of course—”
You laugh softly “Just come as you are.”
He runs a hand through his hair, suddenly flustered “I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy.”
You sip your tea again. Calm on the outside.
But inside? Your heart is thundering. So loud it feels like it echoes in your chest. And he doesn't even know your heart is actually beating faster than his own.
You’ve had to be strong for so long. For your child. For yourself. Love always felt like a luxury you couldn’t afford.
But Sanji… he’s something else.
Not because he’s charming.
But because when it really mattered, he stayed.
And now, you let yourself fall a little deeper.
You stand. Walk over. And press a soft kiss to his cheek.
He goes still.
You pull back and say quietly, “Can't wait for the date.”
His eyes widen, then fill with something warm surprised, happy, maybe even a little nervous.
“You… really?” he asks, softer than you’ve ever heard him.
You nod “Don’t make me regret it.”
His laugh is breathless “Never.”
You smile, heart pounding, but you don’t let it show. He doesn’t need to know yet how much this means.
A few nights later for your first date Sanji goes all out, but not in a flashy way. It’s thoughtful. Intimate.
He sets up dinner on the ship’s deck. Small candles, soft music from a den den mushi radio, and a view of the sea under stars. He cooks something warm and comforting, not fancy, just full of love.
You talk for hours. About silly things, quiet things, your pasts and dreams. It’s easy. He listens more than he speaks, and when he does talk, it’s gentle.
No cheesy lines. Just Sanji. Real and warm.
After dessert, he walks you home in silence. Not awkward, just peaceful. The kind of quiet where you don’t need to fill space.
At your door, he looks at you with hopeful eyes but doesn’t move in. He’s waiting for your choice.
So you step closer.
You kiss him.
Soft. Sure. Just once. But it’s full of everything you’ve been holding back.
When you pull away, he blinks like he’s just been hit by a wave.
You smirk “You were taking too long.”
He laughs, dizzy and full of stars.
And for the first time in a long while, so do you.

The sun burns above you. You’re lying on the deck of your ship, one leg over the other, a half-empty bottle between your fingers. Ace is beside you shirtless, grinning, sweat on his brow, flame flickering off his fingers like it’s breathing with him.
“You always steal my rum.” you say, kicking him lightly.
“You always keep it warm,” he shoots back “I’m doing you a favor.”
You roll your eyes “Your idea of favors sucks.”
He leans closer, his voice lazy and smug “You didn’t say that last night.”
You groan “Get a new line, fire boy.”
He grins wider. You punch his arm. He fake-winces, like it hurt. It didn’t.
That’s the two of you: teasing, biting, half-fighting, half-kissing. No promises. No labels. Just good fun and bad timing.
Pirate life is rough. You take what joy you can.
“Hey,” you say after a long silence, watching the sky “Wanna hear a secret?”
Ace smirks, eyes still closed “If it’s about that thing you did in the galley with the honey—”
“No, dumbass. A real secret.”
That makes him open his eyes. He turns to look at you “Alright. Hit me.”
You sit up. Serious now. The bottle rests on your knee.
“I have a son.”
Ace snorts “You what?”
You nod, eyes still on the horizon “Yeah. He’s five. His name’s Ren.”
He blinks. You go on before he can interrupt.
“I had him before all this, before the piracy, before you. I got caught in something messy with the Marines. To keep him safe, I left him with my parents. Changed my name. Ran.”
Ace stares.
You keep talking “I go see him when I can. Disguised. Just for a day or two. He thinks I’m some traveling doctor or something. He doesn’t know who I really am.”
You pause. Swallow.
“It’s hell, leaving every time. But I’d rather he grow up safe than have him hunted.”
Ace starts laughing.
You blink “What the hell?”
He’s full-on laughing “Holy shit, you got me! I thought you were serious. What is this, some new kink? Roleplay? Mommy pirate stuff?”
You just look at him.
Dead quiet.
No grin. No tease.
Ace’s smile dies instantly. The flame on his fingers goes out.
“…Wait,” he says “You’re not joking?”
You don’t say anything.
His expression changes fast… shocked, confused, then something close to guilt “You really…?”
You nod once “I’m not playing around.”
He runs a hand through his hair, suddenly tense “Shit.”
“Yeah,” you say, dry “That’s usually the first response.”
He opens his mouth. Closes it. Tries again “Why are you telling me this now?”
You shrug “I don’t know. Maybe because you’re the closest thing I’ve had to a real connection in years. Or maybe I just got tired of lying all the time.”
He stares at you.
You look away “I didn’t expect you to laugh. That sucked.”
“…I’m sorry.”
“Forget it.”
“No,” he says quickly “I’m serious. That was a shitty reaction. I just… I didn’t think you were the kind of person to hide something that big.”
You exhale “Turns out, I’m full of surprises.”
The silence between you is heavy now. Not like before.
Then Ace says quietly, “What’s he like?”
You blink “Huh?”
“Your kid. Ren. What’s he like?”
You smile a little “Stubborn. Smart. Messy. Loves drawing fishes. Hates carrots. Thinks I have the coolest boots in the world.”
Ace nods, quiet. He looks down, then up at you again.
“I meant what I said,” he murmurs “I’m sorry for laughing. And I’m… kinda honored you told me.”
You raise a brow “Didn’t peg you for the emotional type.”
He shrugs, eyes soft “Didn’t peg you for someone with a child.”
Touché.
Ace doesn’t talk much for the next few days.
No flirting. No teasing. Just quiet looks when he thinks you’re not watching.
You try to act normal with some old jokes, same smug grin as always, but you feel it too. Everything changed with that one secret. The space between you now holds more than just fun.
It holds truth. Real, heavy, warm truth.
You’re standing at the helm when he walks up beside you.
“I want to come.” he says.
You glance at him “Come where?”
“When you go see your son.”
Your hands tighten on the wheel “Ace—”
“I’ll stay out of sight. I swear. I just… want to see him. I want to understand what you gave up. What you’re protecting.”
You study him for a moment. His eyes don’t waver. There’s no joke. No smirk.
Just Ace. Real. Honest.
You nod.
Months later — The island is quiet. A small village with stone houses, chickens in the streets, a little bakery that still smells like your childhood.
You pull your hood low. Ace wears a cap, sunglasses... he looks ridiculous, but no one’s looking at him. Just another traveler.
Your parents’ house is at the end of the road. Garden full of wildflowers. Paint peeling on the fence.
Your son is playing outside.
He doesn’t see you at first. He’s chasing butterflies. Laughing. Barefoot.
Ace stops walking.
“That’s him?” he asks, voice rough.
You nod “Ren.”
Ace just stares. His hands slowly curl into fists.
You call out softly, “Ren?”
The boy turns. His face lights up.
He runs to you screaming. You drop to your knees and catch him in your arms. He’s warm. Real. Solid.
Ace looks away.
Inside, your parents keep things short. They know who Ace is. You warned them. They’re not happy, but they trust you.
You all sit outside. Ren sits on Ace’s lap by accident. You try to grab him, but Ace just holds him steady.
“It’s okay,” he says “He’s light.”
Ren shows him a toy ship made of sticks “I made this!”
Ace chuckles “Really? That’s better than some ships I’ve sailed on.”
You stare.
Ren grins proudly “My parent used to tell me stories. About pirates and fire powers. Did you know there’s a pirate who can set his fists on fire?”
Ace raises a brow “Sounds dangerous.”
Ren gasps “But so cool!”
You laugh softly. Ace sends you a small look. It’s gentle. A little sad.
Later, when Ren naps, you and Ace sit on the back porch.
“He’s amazing.” Ace says.
“I know.”
“You’re amazing,” he adds “You left this. For his safety.”
You stare at the grass “I think about quitting all the time. Just staying here. Being at his side full time. But… the world’s not kind. And if they find me—”
“I get it,” he cuts in “You’re doing what you have to.”
You glance at him “I didn’t expect you to care so much.”
He shrugs “Neither did I.”
Then he adds, “But now I can’t stop.”
Your heart stumbles.
“He’s got your eyes.” Ace says softly.
“Don’t get attached.” you warn “This life… it’s dangerous.”
“So is mine,” he says “But that didn’t stop you from letting me in.”
You look at him. Really look.
“I didn’t plan for this...” you whisper.
“Neither did I.”
But here you both are.
And suddenly, fun doesn’t feel like the right word anymore.
The sound of quiet laughter wakes you.
You blink against the morning light, still groggy, still warm under the blanket. It takes a second to remember where you are... your parents’ house, back in your old bed.
And then you hear it again.
Ren’s voice.
And Ace’s.
You sit up, heart skipping.
You slip out of bed, still barefoot, and pad toward the living room. And there they are.
Ren sits cross-legged on the floor, his little wooden ship in one hand, while Ace sits across from him, mimicking an enemy pirate voice.
“Noooo! You got me again, Captain Ren! My ship is sinking!”
Ren giggles and throws a pillow at him “That’s what you get, bad guy!”
Ace dramatically falls back, hands in the air “Ughhh… defeated by the mightiest pirate on the seas…”
Your heart squeezes.
Ace looks so natural. Hair messy. Eyes full of warmth. Like he belongs here.
But then your parents come in.
They freeze when they see the scene.
Ace doesn’t notice at first, he’s laughing with Ren, his smile unguarded.
“Ren.” your mother says, sharply.
Your son turns.
“Come away from him,” your father says quickly, stepping forward “Now.”
Ace blinks, confused “I—”
“Ren,” your mother repeats “Come here.”
Ren looks at you, unsure.
You step in “What’s going on?”
Your father’s jaw tightens “We don’t want him near the child.”
You stare “Excuse me?”
“He’s a pirate,” your mother hisses “A famous one. Fire Fist. He’s dangerous.”
“He’s also sitting on the floor playing ships...” you snap.
Your parents say nothing.
“You trusted me enough to come here with him,” you continue, voice rising “Now you’re trying to pull Ren away like he’s some kind of monster?”
“We’re protecting our grandson.” your father says coldly.
“From what? A man who’s been nothing but kind to him?”
“You don’t know what kind of life he brings.”
“I do,” you shout “I live it too. If you forgot. And yes, it’s dangerous. Yes, it’s hard. But Ace has done nothing but respect my family, protect me, and treat Ren with more care than anyone ever has!”
They go silent.
You’re shaking now, fists clenched.
“And for your information, I love him.”
The words fall like a hammer in the room.
Ren blinks.
Your parents’ eyes widen.
Ace just stares at you.
You don’t move.
You didn’t mean to say it... not like this, not loud, not angry... but it’s out.
And real.
You look at Ace, heart thundering “I love you.”
A beat.
Then Ace stands slowly, eyes locked on yours. He walks to you, quiet. The room holds its breath.
He stops in front of you.
“I wasn’t sure if I should say it first,” he says, voice low “Didn’t want to scare you off. But you beat me to it.”
You blink.
“I love you too.” he says.
He reaches out, gentle, and takes your hand.
Your parents stay silent. Ren looks between the two of you, then claps once like it’s the best thing he’s ever seen.
“Can I have pancakes now?” he asks.
You and Ace laugh at the same time, breathless.
And just like that, the tension cracks.

It’s late.
Most of the crew has gone to bed, except you and Robin. You're both in the library room. She’s reading. You’re not. You're just holding the edge of a piece of paper... frayed, uneven, and pulsing with life.
A vivre card.
You don’t have to look at it to know it’s still there. Still pointing somewhere far away, where you can’t be.
Robin closes her book softly “Is that what’s been on your mind all day?”
You glance over.
Of course she noticed.
You nod “Yeah.”
She tilts her head slightly “Can I ask who it’s for?”
You hesitate.
You’ve never told her. Not because you didn’t trust her, but because it always felt like a story that belonged to a different version of you. The you from before the sea. Before the Straw Hats. Before her.
But she’s already part of everything now.
So you answer.
“My son.”
Robin says nothing but her gaze sharpens. Attentive. Careful.
“He’s with his other parent now,” you continue, voice quiet “I raised him alone before I joined the crew. He’s the one who said it was okay. Actually, we were always together, in another small crew. Then he wanted a different kind of life. One with… peace. So we contacted his other parent.”
Robin nods, slow “He sounds mature.”
“He was always like that. Smarter than me, I think.”
There’s a short silence.
You look at the vivre card “I haven’t seen him since I joined. We talk through letters, sometimes den den mushi. But I don’t know when I’ll be able to see him again.”
Robin’s eyes soften “Do the others know?”
You shake your head “No. Just you.”
She reaches out. Her fingers brush yours, just enough to touch the vivre card “Thank you for trusting me.”
You smile, small but real “I didn’t know how to bring it up. I didn’t want you to see me differently.”
Robin hums “I already see you. Clearly.”
You blink.
She looks at you steady and kind “You carry something heavy. And still laugh with the crew. Still help cook. Still stand beside me in battle. That’s not weakness.”
Your chest aches in the best way.
She pauses, then adds, “If one day… you want to try and see him again, I’d go with you.”
Your voice catches “Really?”
She nods “Of course. I’d like to meet him. He sounds like someone I’d admire.”
You look down at the vivre card.
Still warm. Still burning.
Maybe not as far away as it feels.
It’s just past dinner.
You’re with Robin as she asked you to stay close. A soft excuse about helping her with some documents. You're both sitting on the floor, back against the wall, a soft lamp between you.
You have the vivre card on the table. You don't always keep it out, but tonight you felt the need to hold it.
You glance at the Den Den Mushi nearby.
You hesitate.
Then pick it up and dial a number you’ve had memorized since your hands first held his.
The snail blinks sleepily… then perks up.
“Hello?”
Your chest tightens at the voice.
You smile “Hey, kiddo.”
A pause, then, “IT’S YOU!!”
You laugh, caught off guard by the pure excitement.
“Oh my god—FINALLY! You didn’t forget me, right? You didn’t sail into a storm and disappear forever, right?”
Robin lifts an amused brow, watching you with quiet interest.
“I didn’t forget you,” you say softly “You know that.”
“Just making sure. I’ve been drawing so many sea monsters lately you would not believe. I made a kraken with three hats.”
You laugh again, voice cracking slightly “Three hats? He must be important.”
“Very.” He pauses, then adds, “...I missed you.”
You shut your eyes “I missed you too.”
Robin looks away respectfully, but stays close.
Then, from the snail: “Hey, wait—who’s near you? Are you with someone?”
You glance at Robin, who blinks, caught.
“She’s... a friend.” you say carefully.
Robin speaks, her voice soft “I hope I’m more than just a friend.”
The Den Den Mushi mimics a shocked face.
“...OH MY GOD. IS THIS YOUR GIRLFRIEND??”
You bury your face in your hand.
Robin chuckles lightly, graceful even when embarrassed “Hello. I’m Robin. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
There’s a long pause.
“...You sound really cool.”
Robin smiles “Thank you. So do you.”
“Wait—how much do you know about them? Like... do you know about the time they tried to cook without instructions and set the wall on fire?”
You groan “Don’t tell her that.”
“It was a microwave! The noodles caught on fire!”
Robin’s shoulders shake with laughter.
You shoot her a glare that holds no heat “I regret this entire call.”
“No you don’t.”
And he’s right. You don’t.
Not even a little.
Later, when the call ends, you sit in silence.
Robin’s hand reaches for yours “He’s amazing.”
You nod, voice soft “Yeah. He really is.”
She squeezes your hand gently “He has your spark. And your chaos.”
You smile through the ache in your chest “He’s better than I’ll ever be.”
Robin rests her head against your shoulder.
“You’ll see him again. When the time is right. And I'll be with you... if you want me.”
"Of course I do."
And somehow, with her beside you, that feels like a promise you can believe in.

my house of stone, your ivy grows, and now I'm covered in you - pt. 1
Pairing: Agatha x fem!reader
Plot: you are a gardener who starts working for Agatha, a housewife of a rich man who’s never home. as the summer blooms, so does the tension between you two.
Tip me if you like my work and want to support me :)

You weren’t looking for anything special that summer, but since the flower shop you had been working at closed, you needed something new, preferably something that was outside.
When Mrs. Agatha Harkness Whitmore posted a notice at the town’s market bulletin board, asking for someone to care for her garden through the summer, your fingers had plucked the little white card without hesitation.
The house she owned stood at the edge of town, wrapped in ivy. It was enormous and you could only imagined it went back generations of Whitmores. It seemed to be full of ghosts.
But the first time you met Agatha, she wasn’t some brooding figure in the shadows. She wasn’t even the owner, she was the owner’s wife.
She was lounging by the pool, sunglasses perched in her wavy, dark hair, skin already kissed bronze by the early summer sun. She looked like a 1970s movie star.
“You must be the new gardener,” she said, a slow smile blooming across her lips.
You nodded, trying not to stare. She looked like a painting — all curves and calm and careful elegance.
“My husband’s been pestering me about the garden for ages, but I just don’t have the green thumb.”
You tried to smile politely, your hands stiff at your sides.
“You’ll find the tools in the shed. But if you have questions,” she added, lifting her glasses just enough to meet your eyes, “ask me. Not him.”
Then she settled back, arms behind her head, and let the sun drape itself over her body. That day, you clipped roses with shaking hands.
~~~
The days passed slowly. You wore cutoff shorts and tied your hair back with a scarf, sometimes humming Fleetwood Mac songs under your breath. Agatha rarely left the house except to sunbathe.
But when she stretched out in her chair, the silk of her robe falling open just enough to show the dark line of her bathing suit beneath, your breath caught in your throat. You didn’t know where to look. You didn’t know how to breathe.
But she always watched you.
At first, it was little things, a glass of lemonade left on the table, her voice drifting out through the open French doors, murmuring about how “the petunias look like they might finally cooperate.”
Then came the conversations.
You would be kneeling in the dirt, hands deep in rosemary and thyme, and she would call to you.
“Do you like Fleetwood Mac?” she asked once, lazily twirling a glass of iced tea in her fingers.
You looked up, sweat on your brow. “Who doesn’t?”
She smiled faintly. “You remind me of Stevie. Wild. Young. Intense eyes.”
You didn’t know how to answer that. So you smiled and changed the subject.
But the conversations kept happening.
Books. “Have you read The Bell Jar?” she asked one afternoon. You had, and you talked about it for nearly an hour.
Dreams. You told her about wanting your own herb shop someday, a big garden with a greenhouse and a crooked little sign by the road.
She listened like no one ever had.
Once, on a blistering afternoon, you were on your knees trimming lavender when her voice floated over.
“You’re baking out here,” she said. “Come have a drink.”
You turned. She was sitting up now, that same black one-piece clinging to her like it had been painted on. Her hair was pinned loosely, neck bare, skin glistening. You hesitated, hands dirty.
She lifted a glass and tilted her head. “Come on. I won’t bite.”
You stood, wiping your hands, trying not to feel every inch of her gaze travel over you. She handed you the glass — lemonade with fresh basil, ice clinking — and smiled when your fingers touched.
“I like watching you work,” she said casually. “You have this way of moving. Very... focused.”
You swallowed too quickly. “Thanks.”
“I used to love gardening,” she continued, looking out over the beds. “When I was younger. Before the house got too big and the marriage too... dry.”
You didn’t know what to say. You took a long sip and let the silence stretch.
“I wanted to be a writer,” she said almost as an afterthought. “Before I became Mrs. Whitmore. Before I became someone’s trophy.”
“What would you write?” you asked after a while. The surprise etched on her face made you hesitate whether you said something wrong. “Sorry, you don’t-“
“I’d write historical fiction,” she confessed, voice almost a whisper. “Ask me more things.”
You stared at her, wordless, and her hand reached out and squeezed your arm. “Please.”
That was the first time you felt the heat shift — not the sun, but something between you. Something that wasn’t just your wishful thinking.
A week later, she asked you to put lotion on her.
It was late afternoon, the sun dropping gold across the pool deck. You’d just finished laying mulch in the herb bed, your shirt sticking to your back with sweat. She was already there, as always, reclined, skin glowing.
She turned her head lazily as you passed. “Sweetheart,” she said, that husky drawl of hers curling around the word, “would you do me a favor?”
You stopped. “Of course.” Of course. Anything. Everything.
She held up a bottle of sunscreen. “My back. I’ve been out here too long and I can’t reach. You don’t mind, do you?”
You took it from her, your fingers brushing hers. She turned over slowly, her robe slipping away entirely, and the sight of her — bare back, curve of hip, the way the suit dipped low… made you thirsty and lightheaded. And it was definitely not the sun’s fault.
Her skin was golden, glowing. You knelt beside her, your legs brushing the warm stone tiles, and uncapped the bottle.
You squeezed the lotion into your palm. You swallowed, rubbed your hands together, and then laid them gently on her back.
Her skin was hot beneath your fingers. You moved slowly, careful, tracing the edges of her shoulder blades. She let out a low hum, not of discomfort. Approval, maybe. Her head turned slightly, her cheek resting on the towel.
“Your hands are strong,” she murmured.
You didn’t respond. You couldn’t trust your voice. You just kept rubbing, watching the way the light danced across her spine, trying not to fall apart at the seams.
As you slowly worked the lotion in, you could hear her humming under her breath, a sound that filled the silence, made everything feel intimate. It wasn’t a song or a tune; it was just a soft, satisfied hum, like she was savoring every moment.
You applied more lotion, your fingers now pressing gently into the muscles of her shoulders, working out the tension there. The motion of your hands on her body became more methodical, more thorough, and you felt the muscles in her back relax beneath your touch.
She tilted her head back slightly, closing her eyes as if giving herself over to the moment. Her breath became slower, deeper. And just as you reached the curve of her spine, she let out another soft sigh, her body tilting slightly, giving you more access.
"That feels good," she murmured, her voice a little thicker now, like she wasn’t quite sure what to do with herself. “You know exactly where to press…”
You smiled, feeling her soft skin slip under your fingertips as you continued. Her skin was warm, almost burning in the heat, but it was comforting. With each glide of your hands, you could feel her breath getting heavier.
You leaned in closer, your hands traveling down her back, pressing deeper into the small of her back. You could hear her heartbeat pick up ever so slightly, the shift in the rhythm unmistakable.
"You’re tense," you said softly, pressing your palm against her lower back and kneading gently.
Her breath caught, and she let out a tiny, involuntary moan, the sound like a secret shared between the two of you. You couldn’t help but smile at the way her body reacted to you, how she seemed so alive under your touch, as if your hands were pulling something from her she couldn’t hide.
Without thinking, you moved lower, your hands gliding down her back to her hips. The lotion left a trail of smoothness behind, and as you moved lower, your fingers brushed against the side of her ribcage, feeling her body shift ever so slightly under your touch.
She let out a small gasp, her eyes fluttering open, meeting yours for the briefest of moments before she turned her head away, biting her lip as if to hold back the emotions rising in her. Her legs shifted slightly, her thighs pressed together. The gesture wasn’t intentional, but it was enough to catch your attention.
You could feel your own pulse quicken, your breath coming a little sharper now as you continued.
"Tell me if I’m hurting you," you murmured, but there was a teasing edge to your voice.
She shook her head slowly, her voice a quiet whisper. "No... don’t stop."
Her words felt like a challenge. She wanted you to keep going.
You let your hands roam a little further, your fingers now massaging the back of her thighs. You couldn’t stop yourself. It wasn’t just the way she had asked, nor the hum of pleasure that escaped her lips. It was the way her body responded to every movement of your hands, the way she needed this from you.
Then her phone rang and it broke the spell. You flinched back as if someone had slapped you.
She seemed to also realise the position you were both in and she didn’t meet your eyes again. She reached for her phone and murmured a quick “thank you”. You turned away and pressed your eyes shut when you heard her answer the call with “hello, darling.”
You saw Agatha’s husband only a handful of times. He didn’t seem to be home very often. Agatha once said he only came home late and expected warm dinner and warmer bed. You didn’t want to think about that. You didn’t want to think about him too much because you hated him far too much for someone who had never even met the guy properly.
Your mind didn’t have that much space for hatred, though, as it was entirely occupied by Agatha.
How she tilted her head when you talked about your garden. How her eyes softened when you told her about the basil you were growing from seed. How she listened. Really listened.
One morning, you nicked yourself on the rusted edge of the pruning shears. A clean slice across your palm, blood welling before you could even curse.
You pressed your shirt to the wound and cursed under your breath, wondering if you should run into town for antiseptic. But before you could make up your mind, Agatha was there.
Barefoot on the flagstones, a linen blouse knotted loosely at her waist. Her robe draped over one arm. Her expression was unreadable.
“You’re bleeding.”
“It’s nothing,” you said quickly, but she was already crossing to you.
“Sit.” Her voice was softer than usual. No teasing. Just quiet command.
You obeyed. She knelt before you, brows drawn in a line of concern you hadn’t seen before. She cradled your hand in hers, gently tugging the cloth away. Her thumb brushed near the wound.
“You really should be more careful,” she murmured.
She disappeared into the house and returned with a small tin. Rubbing alcohol. Gauze. A bandage. You watched her move, quick, efficient, but still elegant, like everything else she did.
When the alcohol touched your skin, you hissed.
“Shh,” she said, glancing up at you. “Almost done.”
Her fingers worked gently, but something about the moment slowed time. The way she touched you. The way her brow furrowed, eyes flicking up every so often to meet yours. And you... watched her the whole time.
She looked at you then. Fully. Something in her face softened even more, and for a breathless second, it seemed she might kiss you.
But she didn’t.
She patted the bandage gently and stood, brushing her hands on her thighs. “There. Good as new.”
You were not good as new. You were ruined. And she had no idea.
Or maybe she did.
You didn’t mean to fall under her spell. She was older. Married. Untouchable. But those long, sun-warmed days blurred the lines between right and wrong. There was something about her, something caged and dangerous, something soft and aching, too. You saw the way her eyes lingered on you a second too long. You heard the way her voice lowered when she asked how you slept the night before.
You caught her watching you from the upstairs window. You were trimming the hedges, sweat dripping down your neck, and something made you glance up.
She didn’t move away when you met her gaze. She didn’t pretend she wasn’t staring. She just stood there in the thin white curtain, dark silhouette against the glass. Watching. Wanting. Waiting.
You didn’t wave. You didn’t smile. You just let her look.
And then one day you stayed too late. The sun had already begun to dip behind the trees, casting long shadows over the lawn. You packed your tools slowly, unwilling to leave, your skin still humming from the way Agatha’s hand had brushed your wrist earlier while passing you the clippers. A touch that meant nothing. A touch that meant everything.
She’d gone inside an hour ago. She didn’t say goodbye. Just disappeared through the French doors.
You almost didn’t go looking for her. You told yourself she was fine. She always was. Sharp and composed and untouchable.
But something tugged at you. You wandered around the side of the house toward the open window in the sitting room. The lights were off inside. You were just about to call her name when you heard it.
Not a sound you’d ever heard from her before.
A choked inhale. A low, soft sob.
You froze. For a moment, you thought about pretending you hadn’t heard. You could leave now. Walk away. Let her have this private storm.
But your feet moved before you decided. You stepped up to the open door and found her there.
Agatha was curled in the corner of the couch, knees tucked under her, one hand pressed to her mouth. Her other hand clutched a glass of wine, nearly full. Her head turned slightly when she heard you, but she didn’t lift her face.
“I didn’t expect you to still be here,” she said, voice rough, almost hoarse.
“I was just leaving.”
She nodded. Wiped her cheek quickly with the back of her hand. “Sorry. Don’t— It’s just a headache.”
You stepped closer. “Agatha…”
“I’m fine,” she said quickly, sharper this time, her armor trying to snap back into place. “I don’t need—”
But you crossed the room before she could finish. You knelt in front of her.
Gently, you reached out and brushed the tear from her cheek. Your touch was feather-light and her breath caught.
Her eyes locked on yours, wide and dark and full of everything she wouldn’t say. Sadness. Fear. Hunger. Loneliness. She didn’t flinch when you touched her. She didn’t move at all.
“Don’t look at me like that,” she whispered.
“Like what?”
“Like you see me.”
“I do see you.”
That undid her more than anything. Her chin trembled, just for a moment. Her grip tightened on the wineglass like it might be the only thing anchoring her to the world.
You cupped her face fully now, thumb smoothing across her temple. You didn’t kiss her. You didn’t say anything stupid or brave. You just stayed there for a breath too long.
And then you stood.
“I have to go,” you said quietly.
She nodded, still watching you. Neither of you said goodbye.
You walked out into the dusk, heart hammering, and knew that whatever was happening between you, this wildfire, this slow ache, was no longer something you could control.
And neither could she.
~~~
The next day, with the sun burning high and no breeze to speak of, Agatha appeared on the poolside again. It looked like whatever happened the day before had been a mere dream, but her expression revealed that something had changed.
She wore a sheer white robe that slipped off her shoulders, revealing a dark purple one-piece that clung to her. You noticed her watching you several times and you were waiting because you knew. You knew that the barrier between you was crushing down.
“You must be boiling out there,” she said finally, her voice low.
You wiped your forehead with your sleeve and internally exhaled. Here it was.
“Come cool off,” she said, and this time it wasn’t a suggestion.
You hesitated. The pool shimmered in the blazing sun.
“Is your husband home?” you asked, careful.
Her mouth quirked. “He’s away for the week. Business. Or golf. Or another woman. Who knows.”
You walked toward the water.
“Strip,” she said, before you reached the edge. “You’ll ruin those clothes.”
So you did. You peeled your shirt off slowly, eyes on hers, and felt a thrill run up your spine when she didn’t look away. Her gaze was direct, unflinching. You almost stopped breathing when you realised that what you saw in her eyes was hunger.
You slid into the water only in your underwear and let it envelop you. She joined you. Silent. Close.
And when your fingers brushed hers beneath the surface, neither of you moved away.
She tilted her head at you and moved closer, her fingers intertwining with yours. “I didn't expect you when I put the ad for gardener.”
“What did you expect?” you asked and your hand was already sneaking around her waist below the water and you were pulling her closer ever so slowly.
Her eyes burned at the move. “Someone quiet, who comes and gets the job done.”
“Oh I can definitely get the job done,” you promised with a smirk as you finally pulled her flush against your body.
She whimpered and raised her legs around your waist. “You’re dangerous.”
“Dangerous?” you echoed. “Me?”
She laughed softly. “You act innocent. But these words and… I’ve seen the way you look at me.”
You grip her hips firmly. “And how exactly is that?”
She hesitated and then her voice dropped. “Like you want to do very bad things.”
You leaned in just enough to feel the warmth of her breath.
“Maybe I do,” you said, eyes locked on hers. “But I think you’d let me.”
That surprised her, the shift in tone, the confidence in your voice. Her mouth parted slightly. “Oh?”
You tilted your head. “Look where we are. You. Me. Alone in your pool. No husband. No excuses.”
She gripped your shoulders firmly and then her hands trailed up to hide in your hair. “Hm,” Agatha hummed and god, you felt the sound in every cell of your body.
Then the world stopped as you stared into each other’s eyes, breathing heavily even though you didn’t even kiss each other yet.
And in that moment you finally kissed her.
No hesitation. No testing the waters. You took her mouth like it was something you already knew. Her lips parted under yours with a soft gasp, one hand instinctively curling around your hair harder, tugging.
The kiss went on. Her breath hitched, her body instinctively moving even closer. For a moment, she let herself be kissed, kissed like a woman someone truly wanted.
When you pulled back, just slightly, her lips were parted and flushed.
She stared at you for a long second, expression unreadable.
Then: “Christ. I really should fire you.”
You grinned. “But you won’t.”
“No,” she admitted. “I really won’t.”
And this time, it was her who reached for you with a hunger so fierce it left you both breathless.
~~~
You were still feeling almost high after the intense make out session in the pool. It was a shame you had to leave, but Agatha’s friends from a book club were coming and it was better for you to leave.
She planted a soft kiss on your lips and pressed a note into your palm before she opened the door for you to leave.
You read it with shaky fingers on the way to your car.
Come tonight. Midnight. The greenhouse.
Your heart leapt.
~~~
Midnight came slowly.
You didn’t sleep. You laid in your room, the attic room you rent above the bakery in town, and stared at the ceiling fan spinning shadows overhead. Every time you blinked, you saw her. Agatha. In the pool. In the lounger. Her eyes locked on yours.
You dressed quietly. Soft jeans. A loose cotton tank. Nothing that screams intention but everything that could be slipped off in a moment, if needed.
You walked the two miles to her house by starlight. The air was thick and warm, the night breathing around you. Crickets sang in the tall grass.
The greenhouse stood at the edge of the garden, tall and domed, a cathedral of glass and iron that always felt a little sacred, even in daylight. Tonight, it glowed faintly from within.
A single lamp burned inside, tucked behind a pot of orchids.
And she was there.
Agatha.
She stood among the ferns, barefoot, her silk robe falling open at the collar to reveal a satin slip beneath, dark plum, clinging to her in all the right places.
“You came,” she said.
You swallowed. “You asked me to.”
A faint smile played at her mouth. She closed the space between you slowly. “I didn’t think you would.”
“Why?”
“Because this…” Her hand lifted to touch the edge of your shirt. “Is a line neither of us is supposed to cross.”
You breathed in. She smelled like roses and wine. Like summer nights.
“But you want to.”
She nodded. “I think I’ve wanted to for longer than I’ll admit.”
You touched her then. Your hand, light on her waist. Her breath caught.
You could still walk away. You knew that. But your hands were already memorizing her curves, already pulling her in.
And then her mouth was on yours.
The kiss was quiet at first. Just the slow press of mouths learning each other. Her hands found your hair. Yours found her back, the silk slipping beneath your fingertips.
She moaned, soft, surprised, when your lips parted hers, when your tongue brushed hers. The sound shot straight through you.
You guided her back against the potting table, orchids and ivy swaying around you like a jungle. The greenhouse was humid, the glass fogging, the smell of soil and citrus all around you.
She broke the kiss, only to whisper, “Take this off.”
You obeyed, shirt falling to the floor without a second thought.
Her fingers trailed down your ribs. “You’re so… young,” she said, but her voice shook. “Too young for me.”
“I’m old enough to know what I want.”
That did something to her. Her eyes darkened. She pulled you closer and kissed you like she was starving. Like no one had touched her in years. Maybe no one had.
She guided your hand to her hip. “Then show me.”
Your first time together was a mix of lips at your throat, whispered orders, hands guiding yours. But her body betrayed her, however much she wished for control, she found herself surrendering to you.
You found the places that made her gasp. The way her hips rolled when you kissed the hollow of her throat just right.
She laid back like she belonged there, bare legs tangled, hair fanned around her. Her chest rose and fell quickly. Her lips were already red from your mouth. Her fingers curled against the stone.
You kissed her throat, her shoulder, the place just under her ear that made her gasp.
You moved slowly, not to tease, but because she deserved to be cherished.
Every time your hand moved lower, she arched into it. Every time your lips found skin, she broke a little more.
When you finally touched her, your fingers gathering the wetness between her legs, your fingers curling inside her, she bit her lip so hard you thought she’d bleed. You found the rhythm that made her shake with pleasure as she was desperately grasping at your shoulders.
“Please,” she whispered, not to beg, but to give permission.
You didn’t rush. You gave her everything she didn’t know how to ask for.
And when she broke beneath you, trembling, breathless, cursing softly into your shoulder, she clung to you like she didn’t want to come back from wherever you had taken her.
Her voice, after, was barely a whisper. “God, what are you doing to me…”
And in that moment, she was yours. Complete, fierce, and helpless.
Afterward, you laid on the greenhouse floor, tangled in your discarded clothes, half-covered in a blanket she had pulled from a storage bench.
She brushed your cheek with the back of her fingers.
“You scare me,” she said softly.
“Why?”
“Because you make me feel alive again.”
She fell asleep in your arms that night.
When you woke up, the sun was beginning to rise. The greenhouse was golden again and forever drown in your passion.
Agatha was still there, curled against you, hair messy, lips bruised, a faint smile on her face.
And you knew you were fucked.

I think this is too much and am sorry for this being so much but I feel like you will write the best plot or stuff with this!!! Love your writing and hope you don’t pressure yoursel!!
Believe In Me

☆ pairing: woozi x 14th member!reader
☆ genre: angst, tons of angst, tons of tons of angst
☆ trigger warning: verbal insults, ONE curse word
☆ word count: 3.3k
☆ synopsis: as the 14th member, you are always criticised for being the only woman in the group. however, one misunderstanding has brought your reputation to a standstill, affecting the relationship between you and jihoon..
author’s note: thank you for this request<3 i changed the storyline for some parts, hope you still like it!
————————————————————————
it has been years since you debut. after gruelling hours of practicing, and endless nights trying to convince your parents that you were made to follow your dream as an idol, your parents reluctantly agree, but on one condition.
you had to complete your studies. and you could do whatever you want if you did so.
your yearn to achieve your dreams as a superstar was strong enough, and to just complete university? easy enough.
spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
pledis scheduling you to debut with 13 other guys was far-fetched. being the only woman, you were afraid of the remarks of the public. however, you knew the guys well, well maybe because you have been training with them since you were 14.
it was all normal, especially because you were the same age as chan, so you could rely on him whenever you could. the both of you went to the same high school, woke up early together, and spent hours trying to cram for exams. he was your other half.
not forgetting the other members, because of them, idol life seems to be an exciting one.
vocal sessions with seokmin and seungkwan were a blast, belting out the high notes of your favourite songs and them adding random ad-libs.
practicing choreography with hoshi and minghao (even though minghao sat the side from exhaustion most of the time), your passion out of the roof.
random bilingual conversations with joshua, vernon and jun, which none of you understood each other.
coffee dates with mingyu and wonwoo (or you third-wheeling them)
and midnight talks with jeonghan and seungcheol, one that you truly need after a long day of work.
saving the best for the last, jihoon, the one whom you’d always staying hours in the production room, just to watch him brew a new piece of music within hours at hand.
it wasn’t a surprise if you said you were staying over at his studio for the night, all the members were used to it.
you greatly appreciated it, especially because you adored those moments between the both of you: late night dinners, where you would always force him to eat, sitting beside him while he teaches you the technical details about composing (which you didn’t understand) and one to one talks when things have gotten too heavy.
jihoon was a pillar of strength to you. you have always seen him as the most reliable figure in your group. and that admiration had turn into adoration, where you began noticing the little things about him:
how his eyes always stared at the ceiling when he was trying to come up with new ideas, or how he would always put you to sleep despite his busyness.
and true enough, he felt the same way, causing your relationship to turn from late night buddies to a lovey-dovey couple, one which people didn’t expect.
because a few years after you debut, in your second year of university, it was announced by the company that you and jihoon were in a relationship. fans were not surprised, knowing how close the both of you were, and how both of you enjoyed each others’ presence.
but to non-carats? that piece of news blew the internet up within seconds.
even though you have been in the group for quite some time, the public still had some mixed reactions. which includes your schoolmates in your university.
you had amazing friends. friends who supported you through your idol journey, updating you on lectures, or giving you a heads-up on an upcoming project.
on the other hand, there were some people who can’t seem to comprehend the fact that you were in a relationship with THE woozi from seventeen.
until one day, you were on the way to the campus, when you noticed news spreading on social media, about some carats posting photos of you and jihoon at a cafe, talking and laughing with one another while waiting for the drinks.
you remembered that day vividly. it was dance practice for the comeback. the members gathered to play a round of hongsam, and the first 2 to be out of the game would need to buy coffee for the staff and the members.
but some of the comments twisted the story, mentioning how a few days ago, you were seen with another man, who was wearing a navy hoodie, and a person that doesn’t resemble any of the members.
those comments blew up, and eye-witnesses came to flood your feed with many photos, with an aggregating number of remarks.
‘isn’t she dating jihoon, and she’s outright cheating on him with another man??’
‘poor jihoon. he made her entire career successful, and now she’s stabbing him in the back, he deserves better!’
‘y/n is a traitor! just leave the group, she didn’t deserve to be part of them anyway.’
those comments hit your like the tides of the waves, the weight of their words crashing down one by one.
you continued scrolling, until you saw the trending hashtags:
top in trending:
#SVTIS13
#LEAVEY/N
#SVTDESERVESBETTER
you didn’t know what to do. you were already on the way to campus, there were definitely people that would talk about this. until you saw a notification appear on the top of your screen.
hoon🤍: i know you’re reading them, and i suggest you to stop. when you’re done with classes. come to the studio.
his message, stoic and cold, stung right at your heart. you patted your chest, trying to reassure yourself that he knows the truth, and that you, in fact, would never cheat on him.
you would never risk your image like that.
you would not risk your career with SEVENTEEN like that.
and most importantly, you would never risk your relationship with jihoon like that.
and before you know it, the moment you stepped into the building, you could hear murmuring from the people around you. pointing fingers, giving disgusted faces, and laughing mockingly at you.
the moment your eyes landed on your friends, they immediately walked up to you, surrounding you while trying to bring you into the lecture hall.
“are you alright, y/n? have you eaten?” yoonji asked, a hint of worry lingering in her tone
“don’t think about it, don’t listen to them. you know the truth and you would not have done that.” jiyeon whispered, patting your back gently.
“i’d never cheat on him, i love him too much to cheat.” you mumbled, your voice firm, but your throat continued to tighten. your head hung low, your hands clasped against the cold wood of the table in the lecture hall.
“you should get to the studio right after this class. i’m sure you need some time with him, right?” haesol suggested, her smile reassuring, like always.
you nodded, your mind beginning to flood with the image of jihoon, probably disappointed, or maybe disapproving.
would he believe those rumors?
no he wouldn’t. he trusts me, right?
the lecture hall began to flood with students, some of them turning to your direction and whisper amongst themselves, letting out giggles and disgusted looks.
you tried, you tried your hardest to ignore them, and focus on the lecture instead.
their words shouldn’t get to you. it’s just a rumor.
during the lecture, you felt your phone vibrate in your bag. confused, you took it out, to see a message from chan.
twinstar⭐️: y/n-ah, not to scare you, but during practice today, the members were talking about what happen. you know already, right? but jihoon hyung has been quiet. he didn’t talk much. just.. observing. i thought i should let you know first, because vernon hyung and i are worried.
you sighed. the worry in you escalating. you quickly typed a respond back, your fingers shaking slightly from fear.
you: i’ll be there. my lecture is ending shortly.
at that moment, your lecturer concluded the lesson, and left the hall. that led to the rest of the students to start packing up, talking and laughing while walking out.
you packed your things swiftly, waving your friends goodbye before practically sprinting out of the hall.
on your way to the exit, you heard even more whispers. this time, they were louder, almost as if they were trying to force you to hear them.
until one of them shouted.
“hey! isn’t that the cheater? where is she running off to, her side kick?”
and that sent the people around in a series of loud laughter, mockingly and filled with bad intentions.
you couldn’t take it anymore. it felt more humiliating that it should, given the fact that you were so well-known. you rummaged through your bag, digging out a cap that you stole from hoshi, before flagging a cab to the HYBE building.
you were texting chan, trying to get any possible updates; about the company’s reactions, to the situation between the members, and especially how jihoon was acting. and when you looked up, you saw the crowd.
photographers, reporters, fans, or just people passing by, trying to catch a glimpse of you.
you told the driver to stop at the side, so that you could rush over without the people swarming the cab like a bunch of bees. but when you stepped out, everyone came rushing over, hovering over you to get a glimpse of you, and with some underlying motives.
“is it true that you are in another relationship except for woozi?”
“who is that male? and how is he related to you?”
“unnie, why would you do this to him.”
“woozi deserves better!”
you shifted the cap to cover your face more, your breath getting more staggered. you clenched onto the sleeve of your jacket, trying to catch your breath while focusing on what’s in front of you. there were cameras shoved in your face, light flashing from all the clicking, and people screaming into your ear.
the more you tried to move, the more people began to dig into your skin.
“leave the group, y/n!”
“you b!tch, how could you do this??”
you couldn’t take it anymore. you didn’t even realise that tear streaks started to form on your cheeks. your mind was clouded, with so many thoughts, and was just so overwhelmed by what was going on around you.
you shoved yourself through the crowd, the voices around you beginning to muffle as you clenched your fists tighter. and before you knew it, you felt someone tug on your arm firmly, pulling you into the building.
you yelped in surprise, thinking that it was another reporter, but when you looked up, the familiarity began to fall into its place.
mingyu.
“shit.” he mumbled under his breath, pulling you into his arms and escorted you further into the building. you felt something hover over you, almost as if to cover you. you glanced to the side, to see dokyeom following beside, with a concerned look on his face.
you heard the security screaming outside, telling everyone to disperse and leave the building.
mingyu’s arm still stayed around you, while dokyeom just stayed behind, making sure no fans or reporters could reach any of you.
but you heard another familiar voice, whispering, as if he was talking to someone.
“it’s bad… panic… taking her… there…” and you couldn’t hear anymore of it.
mingyu leaned his head closer to your ear, talking to you in the most gentle way.
“would you like us to take you to woozi hyung’s studio? i’m sure you don’t want to be swarmed by the members, right?”
you nodded, your fists tightening further as you did so.
“hoshi hyung, woozi hyung’s studio.” mingyu said, turning around to face the guy, who was on the phone at the time.
“coups hyung just called. the security are dealing with the crowd, and the company are going to release a statement soon.” hoshi replied.
mingyu nodded, tapping the key code to enter the next part of the building, one which screams familiarity.
on the third door along the hallway, purple lights peaked out of the creaks of the door — your favourite colour. and your ost, one that you sang for a drama that was recently released, can be heard from where you’re standing.
standing at the front of the door, hoshi knocked on the door. the music stopped abruptly, paused at the climax, where you have belted out your high note, which jihoon absolutely adored. the wheels of the chair began to roll, as footsteps started to approach. dokyeom patted your back, giving you a reassuring rub, making sure that you were fine.
your heart thumped. you didn’t know what to expect. you were bracing yourself, hoping that seeing jihoon’s stern expression wouldn’t break you down immediately. rubbing your hands together, you tried to catch your breath, still trying to recover from the effects of the moment.
the door creaked open, the purple LED light spilling out of the room. a man, familiar yet distant, stood before you. your breath hitched, the tensions of the atmosphere heightening. you fixed the cap, facing it lower so you couldn’t look at him at the eye.
jihoon stared for a moment, exchanging glances with the 3 men around you, before mouthing a ‘thank you’.
mingyu let go of you, dokyeom patted your head gently, while hoshi whispered “whatever happens, we’re here for you.” into your ear before moving away.
jihoon opened the door slightly wider, welcoming you to enter, but you stood there, still hesitant, almost afraid that you would cross any boundaries if you did so.
he let out a sigh. he wasn’t usually a guy filled with expression, and isn’t keen on expressing acts of love with people around him. but this time, he took your arm, so gently that it felt like if he wasn’t careful, you would break. he pulled you closer, pressing a kiss on your head, whispering, “don’t be scared, we’ll talk when you’re ready.”
that triggered you to take a step forward, scared but determined. you entered the room, while jihoon nodded the rest goodbye, giving them the signal to leave.
the studio, the one that you used to call your comfort place, was feeling so distant, so cold, and something with a lingering sense of discomfort.
closing the door behind you, he guided you over to his table. the screens were black, none of them option, except for one, showing your ost, the one which he paused.
he sat you down on the couch beside him, his hand never leaving yours.
that couch, the one where you slept on when he worked wee hours, and the one where you and him talked and laughed about anything in the world.
but now, it was anything but comfort.
sensing your discomfort, he pulled you by your waist, inching closer to him. you were surprised. he rarely initiated any forms of love, but today was different.
that was when you felt his arms wrap around you, hugging you tightly, like he was protecting you from the vast world.
you stayed there, surprised, but immediately crumbled under his touch. the tears you have been holding onto started to fall uncontrollably, as you let out sob after sob. you buried your head into his shoulders, trying to stifle the cries.
the both of you stayed there for a few moments, jihoon remained silent, like he was trying to comprehend the fact that you were crying in his arms.
something that you did rarely, even to him.
to him, you are the strongest figure that he has ever seen. so firm in your decisions, so quick to pick up something new, and the first person that people go to when they need people to talk to.
you are so admirable to him.
and the fact that not everyone sees it breaks his heart.
he could feel every single emotion of yours, like his heart was connected with yours.
or maybe it was.
he inhaled a sharp breath, whispering gently into your ear:
“that ost you sang. ‘strength’. you expressed the complicated emotions that a woman live with. writing that song, i was so conflicted. i wasn’t clear about what a woman was facing, but when i see you. how you live like it’s your last day, how you bottle your emotions, caring too much about everyone, you are the inspiration to my music. you are my star, y/n. i don’t know how to explain this feeling, but i trust you. i know you would never do such thing, and it hurts to see the media hate on you like that.”
he was silent for a moment, seeming like he was trying to process his inner thoughts. he pulled apart from you, holding your hand as if he was afraid to let go. he stared into your eyes, the eyes he wished he never had to see tears covering.
you were just so precious to him.
“i know you better than anyone, you know that right? although dino may be my competitor, you are the only reason i continue to smile, the reason why i continue to do what i love today.”
you just stared at him, his words hitting harder than it should. although the members had always supported you, and had been your constant cheerleaders since the beginning, hearing it from jihoon always pulls heartstrings that you could never find.
“i just wanted to live my life. you know i would never cheat on you, right? i-i just wanted to have some sibling time with my brother, but people always twist stories to make me look like a bad person. i’m not, i’ll never do that to you, you know that right?”
“i know that, i know that too well god it hurts. it hurts to see you so broken, and so afraid of the world because the universe is against you. i’ll help you through it. i swear by it. do you believe in me, love?”
and that broke you. he usually calls you by your name, and never by a nickname. you immediately wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you.
“always, i have always believed in you, no matter what.”
you could feel a smile forming on your forehead, his lips pressing against your temple now, placing a gentle kiss on it. he began landing a kiss each of your facial features.
“i’ll protect you.” a kiss on your left eye, kissing the tear away.
“i’ll help you get through this.” a kiss on your cheek, a place where he always does it to ‘play safe’.
“i trust you so much,” a kiss on the tip of your nose, the place where he would always wipe when you get a dot of ice cream right there.
“i love you.” he mumbled, before gently placing a soft kiss on your lips, almost like he was trying to memorise your movements, how you react, and how you would return it right back.
the moment lasted for some time, letting the both of you savour each other.
pulling away, he gave you a soft smile, leaning his forehead against yours, his gaze still glued onto yours.
“we’ll clear the rumours, we will always stand by you.” he whispered against, like a promise he would never break.
you placed your hand on his arm, finally smiling after a long day of distress.
“i love you hoonie, so much.” you said, your hand reaching up to cup his cheek.
“i love you too.” he responded, his arm circling around your waist.
the rumours may still be spiralling across the internet.
but right now, that was not any of your concern.
as long as you have him, the world would stop spiralling anyway.

Willow was glad they were all on the same page and welcomed the change of topic. While she enjoyed hearing about all the ways Travis and Erica terrorized people growing up, she'd rather learn more about the brothers they had yet to meet and file that information away for later.
"I take it having conflicting interests doesn't represent a problem for you." Willow mused.
Erica grabbed the seats as she shot forward. "You can dance? That's so cool!"
"Erica, don't scratch the seats. We'd like to use this car again." Nevertheless, Willow found her double's enthusiasm endearing.
"No claws." Erica said, before she nodded again, "Yep, it's a thing. There are many kinds of elves, some harder to find than others. I just wanted a normal back because I had enough of having extra holes in my body."
The survivors just didn't get that the bullets only slowed down the special zombies. Her tail and ears were enough to satisfy her elven pride and set her apart from the others. She didn't regret the decision at all.
"But I guess that it had some use because that's kinda where some of my shadows come from." Erica added, leaning back again.
Willow was quiet as she messed with the radio again. They were getting close to their destination, they had to be ready to make their entrance.
It had to be handed to Rook that she was certainly showing great self restraint there. She could have attempted so many things to make the pocket far more creepy.
"Yeah, it'd be unnerving to be in here with that kind of background noise." she replied, "Especially since you're never truly alone. There are a couple of fellows in particular that you don't want creeping up behind you. Being constantly on the lookout for which noises you didn't make would be exhausting."
And dangerous, considering the aforementioned prisoners in question.
"I'm just salvaging the pieces, really." Rook added with a shrug, "Between the Brotherhood guys shoving an entire building in and this place being essentially abandoned for decades, it's like we're discovering it for the first time again even with the instruction manual available."
"Even I wasn't aware of its full potential." Veronica admitted, "Although, I'm sure all that energy will be put to good use."
Rook chuckled, "Like I could get any sassier."
"You can't?" Lucien had a coin flicked at him.
"Well, I don't mind the approval. I never exactly got much of a chance to share my interests, being told I'm good at things has the same effect bubble tea has on Lucien."
"I'm well over that. I'm into peach flavored drinks now." Lucien protested.
"Oh, I bet you are. But I'm happy for you guys."
Lucien gave her a skeptic look as they got ready to go again. At least he got a nice bag of gold out of this. It would cover for the small fortune he spent on retrieving his cuffs.
Veronica hovered by Antonio as he put the coin away for the time being. "Chick's magic trace is embedded in that thing. It can be tracked down, so I wouldn't be so quick to put it in a drawer, if I were you."
Not that she could have much of a say in the matter. Veronica knew her limits and for now she would feel satisfied knowing she got a chance to mess with Bill. It was harsh being the responsible parental figure, she never got a chance to mess around.
She put on her stern look as they approached, feeling like having fun a little longer, and let Rook go ahead to check on him.
"Ah, nothing much, we stopped by the gift shop." Rook replied, "We grabbed something for you too. I figured you might have some fun with it."
And she hoped she would get to join in again. It had been nice working together to reverse engineer Ratchet's gadgets. She would have liked attempting some other project.
A new portal opened nearby, ready to be used.
"I sure hope so. Things start going bad when we don't care anymore what happens to children."
"It must be quite interesting whenever you and the rest of your brothers meet up. With such a wide array of professions, you may never be at risk of running out of conversation topics." Willow chimed in. It was a touchy matter for Erica and she didn't want her to upset herself with the current topic too much.
"We have to take turns and there's just four of us!" The trick had worked perfectly. "Well, I didn't feel much pain as a zombie, but elves like me are just born with a hollow back. I don't know what it was for, it didn't really do anything. So I let Willow get rid of it."
"It was merely an aesthetic change that didn't interfere with Erica's magical affinity, as we have now confirmed."
"Yeah, it's no big deal." Erica reassured, "But I guess that's why we didn't know about it. I'm glad Rook met Russell, though. We wouldn't know all of you guys if she hadn't!"
"And for that, we're both thankful."
Erica nodded fiercely at Willow's words, before looking ahead. "I think I've seen this part of the city before."
Right on cue, Willow started giving out directions.
"I had to do it for my own peace of mind. Imagine dropping anything in here. The noise will bounce back and forth for days." Rook said, before eyeing Antonio, "And I had to think of my guests. After all, if you're too sassy while in the void, the void will eventually sass you back."
Luckily, there weren't signs so far of the pocket having any level of awareness. Perhaps its artificial nature meant it'd never fully go beyond reacting to the presence of those tied to it.
"Oh, I really panicked at first." Rook admitted, "Because I kinda sneaked in to see where mum was going and I got left behind. But then I just got bored of the panic and started poking around again. I guess it's just the effect this place has on you after you've been here for a while."
It did help that after a while it occurred to her she wasn't feeling hungry or tired. Not being directly affected by the passing of time while being in that glorified broom closet took part of the urgency away.
"Alchemy and herbalism are different disciplines. The ability to directly control the temperature and intensity of our fire is however a major advantage." Veronica replied, "I wouldn't mind sharing some of my knowledge on the subject. It can be very useful at times."
It wasn't just good for creating huge piles of precious items they could treat like Lego, after all. Rook was glad to see her gift was being appreciated.
"Anything for my big bro. But that coin you picked," She paused to point at it, "that's a lucky one."
She proceeded to pass more pouches around, even holding one up so it could be stored in the drone for the time being. They'd figure out a way to get it over to Simon's place later.
"Thanks, Leofric." She offered a second bag, "I can't wait to see what he'll make with these. It seems like he really likes smithing."
"I'm no expert, but I'll do my best with it." Lucien said, standing up, "Russell deserves to have something that shines at least half as much as him."
Rook rolled her eyes, "You guys are so mushy. I bet it's all those sweets you two eat."
Still, she was very happy for what Russell and Lucien had going for themselves. It was clear it made both happy and that was all that mattered.
"Well, let's catch up with Bill. He should be almost at the exit by now."

𝓮𝓹𝓲𝓵𝓸𝓰𝓾𝓮
“One single thread of gold tied me to you.”
Stray Kids - Felix x Reader
Red (golden) string of fate trope
Word count: 23k

𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓸𝓾𝓼 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽 ← 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽
(10 Years Later)
“Daddy?”
Felix looked up from the piano bench, his fingers stilling on the keys. Their son stood at the doorway in his oversized hoodie, one sock half off, his hair sticking up in that familiar way that reminded Felix of you when you got out of bed too fast.
“Yeah, sunshine?” Felix smiled, patting the space beside him.
Their son walked over and climbed onto the bench, tucking himself beside Felix. He looked at the piano thoughtfully, then turned toward Felix with a quiet curiosity in his eyes.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Of course.”
His son looked down at his own pinky. “When will I find my soulmate like you and Mommy?”
Felix smiled. “When you turn eighteen, you’ll get your string.” This wasn’t the first time their son had asked this question, but both of you are patient. Children who’s parents are soulmates often love the idea of it.
His son frowned slightly, eyes still on his pinky. “But what if I miss it? What if I don’t see it right away?”
Felix’s heart clenched gently. He turned on the bench, bringing both hands to rest on his son’s small shoulders. “You won’t miss it, sweetheart. The string’s always there. Even if it takes time to notice. Even if it doesn’t pull tight right away.”
“But how will I know it’s them?” he whispered.
Felix softened. “Because something inside you will recognize them before your mind even does. It’ll feel like... like hearing your favorite song for the first time, and knowing every word anyway.”
His son thought about that in silence, his lips pressing into a little line. “Was Mommy your favorite song?”
Felix chuckled. “Still is. Every day.”
Their son finally smiled, just a little. “Did you know right away?”
Felix’s eyes sparkled at the memory. “Not right away. But she walked into a room, and it was like the air changed. Like everything in me settled for the first time. And even when things got hard… even when the world got loud... the thread never let go.”
He tapped the boy’s chest gently. “And when you find yours, no matter how far they are, no matter how long it takes, you’ll feel that same quiet certainty. Like home.”
Their son nodded, eyes wide and thoughtful. “Okay. I’ll wait, then.”
Felix smiled, pulling him into a soft side-hug. “It’s worth the wait, I promise.”
Just then, you appeared in the doorway, wiping sweat from your forehead and still wearing your favorite jacket you sewed for your recent collection. “Did someone say soulmate?” you asked, arching a brow teasingly.
Felix grinned. “Always.”
Your son scrambled off the bench and into your arms. You lifted him easily with a practiced strength and kissed the top of his head. “What were you two talking about?”
“He was asking when he’d find his soulmate,” Felix answered. “I told him when the time is right, he’ll know.”
You smiled at your son and tapped his nose. “And if they’re anything like your daddy, you better be ready for someone very sparkly and very stubborn.”
“Hey!” Felix protested with a laugh.
Your son giggled. “Can they also be good at piano?”
“Maybe,” you said, walking toward the kitchen with him still in your arms. “But no matter what, they’ll see the world in you. Just like I saw the world in your dad.”
Felix stood from the bench, watching the two of you disappear down the hallway. The golden thread on his pinky still shimmered, as bright as ever.
And from the kitchen, your son’s voice rang out, “Daddy, can I write a song too?”
Felix smiled, already reaching for a notebook. “Only if you let me help with the chorus.”

Wish You Stayed
ex!satoru gojo x reader x crush?!choso kamo pt. 1 - pt. 2
The sound of your phone buzzing awoke you from your sleep, with a groan you reach for it and open your eyes slightly.
Satoru: Morning, you fell asleep in the car and wouldn’t wake up. I brought you upstairs and made sure to lock up before leaving. I left some alka-seltzer pills that are on your bedside table. Feel better
Same old Satoru as he was before, caring and considerate towards you even after not speaking for years. A part of you wanted to see this as a good thing but another part felt like you can’t just go back. People change in 3 years, you’ve changed in 3 years.
Nothing ever can be the same, it can only get better or worse.
A part of you from last night wanted to see how things played out with Choso while another part of you wanted to run back to Satoru.
You: morning, thank you for bringing me up and for the tablets. my head is pounding
He instantly replied to your message.
Satoru: Yea of course, need anything else to feel better?
You bit your lip, you wanted to ask for something just to see him. But you knew better to do that to yourself. Him being here, taking care of you? It was asking to become putty in his hands and with how shitty you feel, it’d work and rewire everything.
You: no ill be fine! thank you for offering :) Satoru: Okay, just let me know if you do
You thumbs up the message and toss your phone on the bed. It was 10 am and thankfully you didn’t have plans. You reluctantly got up and grabbed the tablets he left for you. Letting them sizzle in the water as you go to the bathroom.
Splashing water in your face after you freshened up felt like falling into a cold pool. You shivered as you patted your face dry. Heading back to your room you drank the water. Feeling a little less groggy as you climbed back into bed. Playing some random youtube video and laying down.
You don’t know how long it took but you were again awoken by a buzzing from your phone. Sighing you flip it over and see it’s 2 pm and the buzzing was now a text from a random number.
xxx-xxx-xxxx: hey it’s Choso. did you make it home safe last night?
A flutter appeared in your stomach as you smiled. Adding his contact and replying back.
You: hey! yea i did, a friend dropped me off. i drank so much, im suffering the consequences of my own actions Choso: i’m glad to hear you made it safe. how much did you end up drinking for you to feel that bad? You: i lost count after my fourth round of shots and 3 drinks deep tbh Choso: one hell of a reunion for you and your friends huh?
You giggled as you tried to recount how many drinks you actually had. Kento’s beer, a mojito, two drinks with Choso, 2 shots, another mojito, another shot, another mojito, and maybe 3 other shots? No way you drank that much, your bank account shall suffer and you shall not check it.
You: yea it was. i’ve seen most of them except one throughout these past three years and so this was the first time we were all together since highschool Choso: that’s nice, im glad you had fun. I had fun with you last night
You feel your cheeks warm as you giggle. It really was nice talking to him, it was easy and he was kind but also intimidating. He was tall and built, probably not as tall as Suguru or Satoru. But his build definitely matched similar to theirs.
You: i did too, would definitely take you up on that date you mentioned :P Choso: are you available tomorrow? 5 pm? You: yea! what is the setting? how should i dress? Choso: anything you want, you’ll be pretty and fit in anywhere i have planned :) You: okay then, i’ll see you then :)
He hearts your message and you send your address to him.
Either that alka-seltzer put in the work or the idea of a date with Choso made you feel so much better.
You sigh as you look up at the ceiling, this was just the start of whatever will be your next few months of whatever the fuck is happening with Satoru and Choso. After 3 years of nothing romantic, all of a sudden two men appear. Even though Satoru hasn’t explicitly said he wants you (you saw him once, maybe you are a bit delusional), there was a feeling in your gut that said he does. The stares, the way he talks a bit quieter when he speaks to you, and the way he just is the old him when you were together. Less brash and nowhere near as affectionate (for obvious reasons), he still looked at you the same way he did before.
You don’t know if he ever stopped looking at you that way, even when breaking up. Yea it was on mutual terms but the look in his eyes as you agreed to it, held every emotion he still carried for you.
And he still carried that look in his eyes 3 years later.
A part of you yearned for it, wish you spoke to him sooner. But you didn’t dare to reach out and neither did he. So what was the point? Still being in love with your high school sweetheart, mutual affection both ways but at the same time, you both loved old versions of each other.
What if we changed so drastically and once found out, it wasn’t there? Would there be a point in bringing up old emotions from a previous time? From previous versions of you?
You didn’t know and didn’t want to think about it much longer.
So you let the day move on, eating and resting. The alcohol killed you but at least you hadn’t thrown up. Pretty sure the alka-seltzer really did work overtime for you.
Lounging on your couch at 8 pm, playing a tv show and laying on your side. A knock on your door echoed through the apartment as you lowered the volume of the tv. You made your way to the door and looked through the peephole. On the other side stood Satoru, wearing a hoodie with digimon character and jeans. Your heart did a small flip as you opened the door.
“Hey”, you said with a smile.
“Hey, sorry for showing up like this. Wasn’t sure if you had eaten and was in the area. So I got you your favorite - or old favorite pho”, Satoru said as he held up a bag from your favorite spot.
“It’s okay, thank you. Come in”, you say as you move aside for him to walk in. He takes off his shoes and makes his way to the table. He starts taking out the pho containers and setting them up, then he sits casually in the chair just like he used to before, like it was second nature for him.
You shut the door and make your way to the fridge, grabbing two sodas, one coke and one dr pepper. Proceeding to the table as you sat across from him, placing the coke in front of him and grabbing your portion of the food.
“I got you the same as before, hope you didn’t switch that”, he laughed as he opened his container. Popping the top part out and dumping it onto the noodles. Then filling the container with broth. You followed suit and let the noodles soften.
“You know you didn’t have to do this right?”, you say as you look at him. He’s adorning a smile and now you take notice he isn’t wearing his glasses. His eyes are set on you and speaking a million words.
“I know but it felt like a nice thing to do, plus I haven’t seen you in ages. Thought it’d be nice to just hang out”, he says as he looks down at his soup. Satoru had debated this for hours since the morning. He was hoping you’d tell him you need something, he would’ve done it in a heartbeat to see you again. Even though he doesn’t feel like he has that right anymore, he was willing to do anything to make it be his right again.
“This is nice, I honestly was craving this after my shitty excuse for food earlier. Made a burnt grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup from a can”, you laugh as you stir your noodles around, breaking them from their mold of a circle.
“You could’ve asked, I told you just to let me know”, he says softly as he mimics your actions with the soup. He cracks open his drink and takes a sip from it. “Still remember my likes, like I remember yours”.
“Well hard to forget when we ate and drank much of the same things back then”, you laugh and start eating your pho.
“Fair enough, it’s like it’s embedded into my brain”, Satoru says as he starts eating.
You fell into a silence of eating and the only thing being heard was the tv and you two eating. It felt domestic, it felt like it did before. The time changed and yet you’re still here, sitting across each other in the same way, eating the same foods you two would get, and being comfortable with each other.
As you were finishing your pho, your phone rang on the table. You glanced at it and saw Choso’s name at the top. You inhaled and grabbed it quickly.
“Sorry I’ll be right back”, you say as you get up and make your way to your room.
“Hey!”, you exclaim as you make your way into your room.
Satoru’s ears perked up at how happy you sounded. He had seen the name on your phone and by your reaction, it had to be the guy from last night. With a small groan he threw his head back. Competition wasn’t new for him, he’s always been competitive and good - no great - at everything he did. But he had never dealt with competition when it came to you.
Having met on your first days of highschool, you two were both nerds. Relating on interests and hobbies, staying up waiting on drop dates for games or going out and buying ridiculous anime items. It was natural for you two to end up liking each other, even your friends saw it before you two did. They bet on how long it’d take for someone to make a move, it wasn’t until before the ending of freshman year that anything was said to one another.
He confessed first like a lovesick puppy, he had seen you get hit on by some guy in another class. It was the first time he saw you blush at anyone other than him. He felt a sickening feeling in his stomach, at the thought of losing you, at the thought of you being with someone else.
And that’s when he realized he had liked you. He had rushed over to you and told you some lie to pull you away from the guy. He had dragged you outside to where you two would hangout after school with your friends but usually after they left, you two would linger there.
“I need to tell you something”, he said nervously as he balled his hands into fists.
“Okay what is it ‘Toru?”, you spoke lightly with a tilt of your head. Eyebrows furrowed as you stared up at him.
“I-I like you. I don’t know how long I’ve liked you for and maybe it was the first time you smiled at me. O-Or when you gave me my keychain for my phone, or when you laughed at my joke the first week of class. Maybe I’ve liked you from the moment I got to know you. But I just know I like you. More than anyone else, more than my favorite digimon character”, he utters as he averts your gaze.
You had stood there in awe, shock, and pure bliss.
“Toru…I like you too. I didn’t think you’d like me back but looking back I might be a bit stupid from not realizing it”, you laugh as he shot his head back to look at you. You were looking down as he stared wide eyed. He didn’t think you’d reject him but at the same time he didn’t think you really did like him.
“Oh..I-I honestly don’t know why I didn’t think you’d like me too. Maybe we're both a little stupid here”, he laughs as he reaches for your hands, embracing them with both of his. “Will you be my girlfriend?”
You gaze up at him with a saccharine smile, eyes crinkling from how genuine it is. “Really?”
He scoffs and shakes his head, “Yes really stupid. I think if you don’t answer I’ll bury myself 6 feet under”.
“Okay, I’ll be your girlfriend Satoru”, you giggle as you pull your hands away from his and hug him. He reflexively wrapped his arms around you and picked you up with a spin. You laugh out and so does he.
Shoko won the bet, she had said you’d two be together before the end of the school year. Kento and Yu had bet you’d get together by the beginning of the next semester. While Suguru thought it’s take another year for you two to even realize it by how stupid you both were to each others yearning.
Satoru sighs as he replays the memory, he thinks about it far too often. Having replayed every detail from that day, the days before and after. His biggest regret was breaking up with you before college. You hadn’t grown apart, it was all the same but you both wanted to focus on college. He proposed the idea after seeing all the time he’d have with school and the family business, he didn’t find it fair to you to be unavailable constantly. It hurt him to even bring it up, to even think about it.
But you understood, you wanted the both of you to be successful in your own ways. It crossed your mind but you never voiced it. When he brought it up, you wanted to say it’d be fine and you’d understand his time away. But you knew, it would ruin you two. The lack of seeing each other and affection you both couldn’t 100% show. Would make you two grow to resent it and resent each other for not trying harder.
So you agreed. The no contact was to not be distracted, neither of you saw each other as distractions, but you both knew it’d turn into it. So there was no fighting, no lashing out; just acceptance. It killed you both and even 3 years later, after graduating and working, you both felt the same way for one another as you did then.
Satoru tried to move on, tried to meet new people, tried to forget about you but everyone he met wasn't you. Everyone was shallow with no true personality, you were the only one he’d met that fit him like a puzzle. So he stopped trying, he’d get hit on but turn them down.
Now watching you get excited over someone else was killing him. He wishes he’d come around sooner, yea you met this Choso guy last night but the way you had looked at him when you had talked to him in the bar, Satoru had only seen you look at him that way.
He knew from Suguru that you hadn’t been with anyone else since him. He reveled in the fact that you hadn’t moved on from him.
As if you’d ever truly be able to move on from one another.
But this factor of running into someone who clicked with you like he once had, had him nervous. Had him on the brink of begging you to be with him. But he couldn’t.
It wouldn’t work, maybe before, back then it would’ve. But he can tell you changed, you’re not as you were before. Not lovesick for him like he was for you.
He might be too late but that won’t stop him from trying.
<<previous : next>>
so guess this is my first series on here, not sure if it'll be long or short but lets see how ill do

I forgot his name, but can I request The Hood dating hcs? Maybe someone who also uses dark magic, but in a way similar to Agatha? However, reader can’t do much, or just like, can’t use intense magic cause they’re semi-bounded, so they’re restricted in their abilities.
I tried to keep it as close to the character as much as I can, implementing shit from the comics in terms of his backstory but yeah, this is the best I can do.
you most likely met during one of his heists, both gunning after an artefact, one that would help you strengthen your magic, make you more powerful and out grow the shadow that you had made for yourself.
shadow manipulation and illisionary magic, amongst the other generic abilities dark magic tends to give you had gotten you so far, the rest relied on your ability to worm your way in close proximity of highly valued artefacts of magical origin without being spotted.
It was highly likely that John would’ve been the one to have scouted you out, going back and telling Parker all about the dark magic user that he had happened to come across while you were using your magic to track your next artefact. Parker became intrigued by you and told John to keep a close eye on you and what you did, believing that due to your background in dark magic you’d be a highly valuable asset to him, especially when it came for bigger heists yet to come in the future that weren’t in regards of breaking and entering.
Your meeting was predestined in a way, almost as if something had been pulling the strings all along, guiding Parker into finding you and bringing you into his crew. You could tell from the moment you met him that the hood he wore was brimming with dark magic, you could easily hear the demonic whispered and taunts as well as he could, hearing them ask about desires amongst other things.
‘Where did you get that.’ You pointed to the hood.
Parker shrugged. ‘Snagged it off of someone.’
‘More like something,’ you replied, still getting use to the overwhelming presence of the hood’s magic, ‘that hood is dark magic, darkest I’ve ever felt and you’re meant to tell me it’s not feeding off of you.’ You add.
Parker clenched his jaw, the hood feeling a lot warmer then it usually was upon his shoulders, knowing you were very much in the right, you were quite possibly the only person who could understand the gravitas of dark magic and the burden it carries.
You raised your brows. ‘Or is it perhaps changing you, slowly, gradually, ridding you of your humanity until there is nothing left, altering you into something…not human anymore.’ You eyed him closely before adding. ‘Dark magic has a heavy price to pay, but I’m assuming you’re aware of that by now.’
You had an inkling about the hood and it wasn’t until you came across Parker shirtless one night that you saw that your inkling was more right than you originally thought. Scales across his back and trailing the back of his neck ever so slightly, the tattoos did little to hide what was happening to him and suddenly against your own better judgement you were by his side, holding his hand as you could feel the dark magic surging through him that tethered him to the crimson hood.
‘Now you see,’ Parker said, looking you in the eye, ‘now you know.’
Now let’s just get to the relationship aspect.
Parker deeply cares those he’s closest to, particularly you and his cousin John, though that didn’t mean he didn’t care for his crew because he did but it was of how far that care extended that made you different from the others. (And not in a pick me way either, you just know more then most of the crew about the situation with his demonic hood)
It was obviously taking its toll on him and you would try and give him the space he needs, while also been close enough to offer aid should he need you to help combat the whispers within his head, wiping away the sweat the build up upon his forehead as you held his face within your hands and clam him down by using hushed wishers and allowing him to cling to you.
John -albeit skeptical of you at first, merely protective of his family- slowly began to warm up to you and come to appreciate when you could get through to Parker when he thought the Hood was taking him away from him. He could see how much you did care for Parker, having been made aware of his sick mother whom he wanted to take care of, even if it was by certain means to do so, you didn’t judge and instead would offer a shoulder to lean on as a form of reassurance that both Parker and John were thankful for.
Parker would be very protective over you, even if he was aware that you had magic on your side, yet you’ve mentioned time and time again that you were on restricted magic which meant you could only do so much before you hit your limit. Yet despite being stuck with restricted dark magic, Parker still found your ability and control over it fascinating, tracking magic, illusion magic and shadow magic were just the few that he would step back and watch you with a proud expression.
He’s just watching over you and wouldn’t be too far from you during heists, always a few steps away from doing whatever it took to keep you safe, even if it meant becoming more and more reliant on the dark magic within the hood. His care for you, for John and for his crew would often be something you reprimanded him on as Dark magic would easily use this against him.
Parker didn’t care, he knew what he was getting into and didn’t mind loosing his humanity if it meant ensuring your safety, always coming to find you after the guests were over and pressing his head against your own, happy that you were safe and sound as you return his smile and reassurance upon seeing him safe and sound. You understood and would do the same for Parker, truly believing in his vision, so you couldn’t hold it against him from protecting his own.
The crew would tease you both for being sickeningly cute, but Slug absolutely adores your relationship, John was happy that Parker was happy, the blood sisters weren’t all that bothered about your relationship but were happy for you both either way, just as long as it didn’t make either of you loose sight of the bigger picture, clown -much like slug- adored your relationship and Riri was eyeing you both as while you both were cute; you both were dangerous adversaries we versed in Dark magic that could make a simple situation go from bad to worse within the blink of an eye.
to him you didn’t have to be all powerful, for it was always those with a limited range of abilities that tended to do the most shocking things, take more people by surprise by merely emerging from their shadows in comparison to creating a wave of chaos magic to take out your adversaries. That and he would inquire you more about Dark magic in hopes he would understand what he was messing with, always keenly away that dark magic is cryptic and often has second meanings that often backfire of those who sought it for means that can be manipulated.
Affection didn’t come frequently as Parker was focused from going from one heist to the next, so there’s not much time to be soft and gentle with one another, but that doesn’t stop you from making time to be affectionate with one another while being mindful of the blackened veins upon his back and kiss across his shoulders and his jawline as you admire his features. ‘It’ll be all yours, one by one, they’ll fall before you feet I assure you.’
‘Ours.’ Parker corrects you, holding your hand. ‘Ours.’ He repeats as he pulls you into his arms, kissing your forehead as a prosperous future flashes before him, one where he would treat you better then his own father and one where you got to meet her mother for he knew that she would absolutely love you but Parker knew there’s too much work to be done before he could even fathom the idea of properly settling down. Yet it’s part of the bigger picture for Parker and he was determined to make that future a reality and not something the Hood would taunt him with.
John would tease Parker for being such a sap with you, nudging him in the shoulder and reminding him of the plan, reminding Parker that while he’s happy that he’s happy there was a time and a place to displace such vulnerability. Parker reassured John that his eyes were on the prize, knowing John’s main concern was in regard to the Hood and its manipulative nature. ‘You’re lovestruck.’ John would say teasingly as he saw Parker watch you read a dusty old tome about Dark magic while floating in mid-air.
‘How could I not.’ Parker replied, smiling as he leans against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest as he continued to admire you as John clapped his shoulder. ‘As long as you know what’s at stake and don’t make it a point to stare at them 24/7 then be a sappy shit as much as you want.’ Parker laughs, happy to know that John approved of his relationship with you, always valuing his thoughts and opinions above most, and knowing that it can only go up from here.

Fuck It Friday!!
Tagged by @elvensorceress who shared some priceless words y'all should absolutely show some love!
Keeping with Jenwyn's theme of ridiculous Buck for Oliver Stark's birthday, have some of a silly little wip I've been playing around with for a while:
The bottle shakes in his grasp. He grips it tighter, doesn't want to risk breaking it. But it shakes so violently it jumps out of his hands, landing on the coffee table with a loud bang. Buck scrambles away as it keeps on rattling. His heart catapults into his mouth and lodges there as the top of the bottle flies off and across the room. Bright purple smoke poofs out of the bottle, curling and swirling around the room. A small purpleish light shoots from the bottle and lands on the coffee table. Buck blinks at whatever- whoever- just landed on his table like they performed an Olympic vault. The person can't be taller than the bottle itself. They stretch like they're about to run a 50 yard dash and adjust the bucket hat on their head. “How do you do, young man?” the person asks in a surprisingly booming voice that makes Buck flinch. “Oh, forgive me-” they clear their throat dramatically- “perhaps this is less frightening?” Their voice changes from something like Thurl Ravenscroft talking through a megaphone to more like… the munchkins from the Wizard of Oz. It's less terrifying, sure. It is not, however, any less baffling. “Uh…” Buck wants to ask who the hell this guy is, but he can't force the words out. “Well you woke me up, what do you wish of me?” he asks. “What do I…?” Buck thinks maybe the fumes from his polish got to him. He believes in a lot of things, but little guys hanging out in antique knick knacks isn't one of them. “Oh boy,” the guy sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Okay-” he waves his hands about like he's wiping a slate clean- “I've given the whole history way too many times now and it never makes any sense to you people anyway, so you're getting the short version.” He jumps and sorta floats onto the couch. He lands with that Olympic flourish again and takes his bucket hat off as he bows. His Pepto-Bismol pink hair falls in his eyes as he does so, but he smooths it back when he stands and replaces the lavender hat. “I’m Harold, I'm a genie, I don't like the number three so you only get one wish. Wham bam thank you sir.” Buck gapes a lot like a fish. He must be dead. Or high as a kite. Or concussed. Any way he looks at it, he can't be sane. He believes in aliens, and Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness monster, and God when he's really desperate, but genies? Beyond Barbara Eden, he'd never given it any thought. They show up in cartoons and stories and they're sometimes voiced by Robin Williams. They don't stand on his yellow couch in bright purple overalls. “Close your mouth, kid, you'll catch a bug,” the man- genie? Harold? says.

Started watching the Bayverse movies with my besties and... Are we just too gay for these movies??? Admittedly we only finished the first two and got through a quarter of the third, but the second one was such a drag to sit through at times and it probably doesn't help that we do NOT care about Sam that much. I hope that there is a character arc for him in the rest of the third movie. Because so far he has not been fun to watch in that one. He just comes off as a slight manchild to me, like... I can see why he would be frustrated with where he is in life but the way he acts with others and lashes out does not help him in the slightest. I do have to admit though that seeing him go to Cybertronian Heaven in the second movie was the funniest part for me and my besties lol.
I'll just hope that the other guy in the next movies will be at least a bit more interesting. Doesn't even have to be a good guy, just an interesting guy for me lol
#rintalks#text#transformers#transformers bayverse#A lesbian demigirl a she/they lesbian and a nonbianry bisexual watch Bayverse with alcohol- You'll never guess what happens next#Adding a Drinking Game to your (attempted) movie marathon can increase the fun for the whole group lol#But only when everyone knows how to drink responsibly and does not peer pressure of course#I feel like they made Sam too much of an Everyman that he basically had nothing as a person himself#He is literally a middle-class white teenage boy who is not too smart nor too sporty a bit awkward but says witty lines and-#It feels like so much to just say nothing#No real soft and or hard skills to speak of for this dude#Nothing about him as a person was what was needed in the two movies either#It was so circumstancial#If he wasn't related to his captain/explorer grandfather and had his glasses then he never would've been sucked into the conflict#if he didn't touch the shard in the second movie then he wouldn't have been an accidental cybertronian usb stick#I do admit that the movie wouldn't have come to it's conclusion without his involvement and the knowledge he sucked up but everything else-#It wasn't exactly HIS knowledge and he wasn't the guy who had all the breakthroughs or epiphanies.#Also. Him going to cybertronian heaven lol. All these soldiers also gave their lives to protect Optimus where do they go? Lmao#I feel like Mikaela would've been a better protagonist but considering that it was the 2000s and she was a girl in a “”boy franchise“”-#fat fucking chance man ToT#The way she was driving in reverse while having Bumblebee in the back shoot at Decepticons was som genuinely cool shit ngl#And she only got the car bc she knew how to unlock and jumpstart it!!! Queen shit!!!#I'm so far not a fan of how weirdly enabling Carly is of Sams more immature tendencies but I won't give up hope and just watch!#Maybe they'll break up bc they see they're not good for each other or maybe the trauma will change them and draw them closer to each other#there are many ways to go with both of these characters and their relationship#Am I having too much hope? Probably but I don't want to be too cynical about things lol#makes life a bit more fun that way too#Funnily enough the only characters me and my besties found ourselves slightly attached to were the idiot twins in the second movie#and the little monstertruck guy voiced by Tom Kenny at times. Not in all his scenes but you know. A win is a win.#And of course Bumblebee except for that scene where he pissed on that dude in the first movie that was not it

Tobias is always wearing the latest fashion & using the allegedly latest gadgets (<-most of which don't actually exist on the market bc they're made at Wammy's or specifically created for him alone) but his house only has the minimum technology required to function & even That is placed strategically in rooms he rarely goes into and typically no guests can access. NEVER in his bedroom or hangout rooms where he typically speaks in (<-except the gaming/TV room, for obvious reasons). He too knows how to hack systems, so he's more than aware of how easy it can be for sb who works in the field to grab a hold of his stuff and use it to their advantage if they wanted to.
Blud doesn't even have CCTV cameras installed anywhere because he doesn't want them to be hacked into & used to spy on him instead, so whenever he wants to find/retrieve footage of anything, he either hacks into the city's surveillance cameras, looks at the cameras his various friends have installed around their houses/headquarters/territories/etc or finds someone who can access relevant visuals from the inside (i.e police/fbi/cia agents etc) 😭 the only cases in which he'd install cameras is if he'd know sb is after him & he wanted to misdirect them with fake info about his life/schedule/routine/etc, but they'd be promptly taken down afterwards anyway.

Some are listed as their phone number (he's memorized who's who)#others are listed w some goofy ass nickname; others w emojis etc. The naming system's in his brain & NOWHERE else.#Not to mention how hard it is to crack into his phone... bro changes his password monthly and it's always smth horrendous#Sometimes it's like. the pi number except stopped at a weird point or the pi number except w smth erroneous added in intentionally#And that's only step 1 of breaking into it 🚬 imagine pouring all that time & effort into it only to get little to nothing in return#Smth about this guy appearing sooooooo modern and then you go to his house expecting the latest tech & robots everywhere#only to be met w one of the least technologized homes to exist is sending me whenever I think abt it AJSDHADGSDJSAHDJ#LIKE HE /DOES/ HAVE TECH! Just in specific rooms. Every room besides those is no different from a room you'd have seen in 1950#The reason he's so cautious is bc /especially in DN (main verse)/ he can't allow his face to be caught on camera due to Kira's existence#or in other verses where Kira doesn't exist... it's fine if ppl know his name or general appearance but photos are still a no-go bc it's#one thing to describe sb and it's another to show them Exactly how that person looks like <-matters considering how many MORE#assassins would be after him if everyone knew what he looks like and could thus try to track his movements/see him randomly on street#Bro doesn't even talk to half of his acquaintances w/o a voice changer bc those ppl might recognize him irl & He Doesn't Want That 😭

reasons to buy black and white printings of comic book collections:
1) much less expensive
2) 500+ PAGE COLORING BOOK
#the random Procrastination Projects begin again#just fun to play around with adding little details to things like random blank squares#knowing me ill probably get through a few pages get distracted and not touch it for ages but hey#fun! lil! project!#not accurate to the og panel at all based purely on vibes#you open up my avengers comic collection and the only panels colored in are the tony centric ones#i absolutely adore how they re-explain tony and only Tony's backstory again and again?#like everyone else we get some vague details once in awhile like thor's secret identity is a doctor! hank's a scientist! jan loves fashion!#but like every three issues we get the obligatory panel of tony charging his chestplate#and monologuing about how no one can know his secret identity and so many envy him but he's living on borrowed time cause of the shrapnel#never change 60s tony you dramatic diva. never change.
