Bug, the son of Oogie Boogie. Bug is the son of Oogie Boogie, the infamous villain of Halloween Town. He's grown weary of his father's constant attempts to mold him into his own image, a puppet master of fear and chaos. Bug resents his father's methods and desires a life free from his manipulation. He's a master of pranks, always finding ways to provoke his father, but Oogie's twisted sense of humor often finds amusement in his son's 'rebellious' acts.

Aaron, the youngest son of Queen Ariel and King Eric, and the younger brother of Princess Melody. Born into royalty, Aaron is a lovable, bright, and rebellious young merman who has inherited his family's curiosity and fascination with the unknown. Growing up, Aaron was always fascinated by the stories of the Isle of the Lost and its inhabitants. I've recently seen some interesting comments (on Reddit lol) about the rest of the Bridgerton love interests and also how there is in need of better darker skinned black female representation which I wholeheartedly agree with BUT why hasn't any considered it being George's love also? Thus this fancast popped into my head of the younger Bridgerton love interests which is Leah Sava Jeffries as Lucinda "Lucy" Abernathy, and Adrian Lyles as Gareth St. Clair (obviously I'm for his brother being East Asian but I've never read the books so I don't how big the age gap is so I don't know who to properly fancast).

“thanks.” your voice is steady. practiced.

you shrug. “you had me. didn’t want me.”

“that’s not true.”

you meet his eyes. “then why did you leave?”

silence. then, a whisper:

“i was scared.”

you nod. “me too.”

his shoulders fall. you should feel stronger. you don’t.

instead you say: “you hurt me, jet.”

he nods. “i know.”

“and i still love you,” you admit. “but i don’t know if i trust you.”

he steps forward. “what do you want me to do?”

you pause.

then — “nothing.”

he flinches like that’s worse than go away.

you soften.

“…just… don’t lie to yourself next time, okay? if you love somebody, love them right.”

he swallows. nods. “can i hug you?”

you think about it. then — just once — you nod too.

his arms wrap around you and it feels like every version of almost. you let yourself sink in for a second. just a second.

then you pull away.

you’re done burning.

and he? he just watches.
