Alrighty so I know I called it a list of oneshot ideas, but not all of them are strictly one chapter. I only give things their own document if they have 6 or more chapters (don't ask why, I don't know either).

ANYWAYS

So the doomed Teleneo yaoi will be four chapters long and covering a period of about a year. I got the idea from this animatic of the two of them because idk I guess I had just never thought of giving them doomed romance before despite the fact that their equal and opposite opposing daddy issues make it work really well?

To give the gist of the plot without getting too detailed (yes, I know this is a lot of bullet points, just think of what that says about how much I'm not including):

Tele and Neo meet at a celebration for Odysseus' return and Tele notices Neo avoiding Ody and him

He later sees Neo sneaking off and later finds him hidden away in the kitchen drinking, Neo convincing Tele to join him

They get into an argument about Ody and their daddy issues until Neo decides to make out with him and Tele, caught off guard and tipsy, just goes with it because Neo is quite hot and what else is he supposed to do?

Tele takes Neo to his bedroom so they can actually have privacy and they fuck, Neo not exactly being the nicest but Tele being able to tell that he's just projecting his own self-worth issues and doesn't take it too seriously

After they finish Tele doesn't want him to leave and Neo figures out that that was Tele's first time having sex, something that catches him WILDLY off guard and he kinda hates himself for being Tele's first time but doesn't hate himself enough to stay, telling him to make sure to not fall in love with him

He leaves and Tele kinda feels like shit but he tries to not think about it since that's what Neo wanted

A while later and Tele is travelling with Athena but due to a sudden storm he has to dock his ship at the nearest place he can find which turns out to be right by Skyros and Athena (who knows about the hookup) tells him to get over any awkwardness he feels and request shelter until it's safe to travel

He goes, Neo lets him stay, and as the storm lasts for days, Neo is avoiding him the whole time

When Tele finally figures out where Neo is he grabs some wine, tracks him down, and they drink and talk

Tele starts to get a little seductive, Neo gets uneasy, but Tele assures him that he's just proving to himself that he won't fall in love with Neo by having sex without feelings

Neo decides to go with the logic but reminds Tele that they're never going to have a relationship and Tele says he knows but he might as well just have some fun which actually seems to hurt Neo for a second before getting back into things

They fuck and afterwards Tele starts to try and get Neo to stay but stops himself, Neo says that that was fun and thanks him before leaving, and Tele is left feeling empty and having no idea if his plan worked or not and deciding that he really needs to talk to his mother (because he knows Athena probably won't be able to help since it's about sex and his father also won't be able to help since it's about Neo)

A while later and Tele is at home when he hears about a visiting prince, assumes it's Peisistratus, then goes to the throne room to see his friend, but ends up overhearing the sounds of arguing, though he can't make anything out

Turns out it's Neo who is staying as he's requesting aid and Ody is showing hospitality but isn't thrilled about it and when he had a maid take Neo to his room he brings Tele into the throne room and is basically all like "I'm not saying I know the two of you have slept together at least twice but if you hypothetically did then don't do it again and especially don't start a relationship with him"

Ody and Tele argue, Ody tells Tele about all of Neo's war crimes, Tele reminds Ody of Neo's daddy issues, Penelope calms them down but is also on the side of don't do anything with Neo which Tele says that he won't do, knowing that he did in some way love Neo but with everything Neo has made clear he's gotten over those feelings as best he can

A few days later and, at Penelope's suggestion, the four go on a little hunting trip together, Neo and Ody actually getting along through their shared competitiveness

Tele ends up splitting off from the group only to have Neo accidentally shoot an arrow at him that cuts his arm, having though Tele was an animal, and instantly rushes over to help patch him up

They talk, things get more intense, Tele reminds Neo of what he said, Neo says that he doesn't care and just wants Telemachus

Neo gives Tele a blowjob and says a few things that makes Tele really concerned about what it was like to be a teenager at war surrounded by a bunch of angry, tired, and desperate older men

Neo fucks Tele's thighs and afterwards Tele tries to leave so Neo won't be able to leave first but Neo pulls him back down and asks him to stay which makes Tele really confused and conflicted but he agrees, Neo ending up falling asleep on him

Just before Tele can fall asleep an arrow is shot in the tree he's laying against, striking just above his head, and he sees that Ody found him looking disappointed, angry, and also concerned, signaling for Tele to come with him

Tele is able to get over there without waking Neo, the two talk and Ody is actually able to be pretty empathetic, at least until he says that he thinks they should head back and telling Tele not to wake Neo, and they leave, as they do Ody looking slightly pained as he asks Tele how much he knows about Diomedes

A while later and Tele is visiting Peisistratus in Pylos and it's great and a little flirty until it turns out that Neo is staying, there being immediate tension that Peisi can sense and he lets them be alone together to talk

They argue, Neo says that he loves Tele, and Tele goes off on Neo for having the audacity to do that after everything he's said and done to him before

They agree to have sex one last time, going to Neo's room and actually going a lot slower and gentler than the previous times, especially compared to their first time

Afterwards Neo repeats that he loves him, Tele says he knows, pauses, then repeats that that was their last time together and Neo says that he knows

Tele agrees to spend the night with him in his room, leaving in the morning before Neo wakes up and instantly being found by Peisistratus who puts together what happened and Tele apologizes, saying that he was just trying to tie up loose ends and when Peisi asks if he thinks he succeeded, Tele smiles and says that he did

Peisi seems happy with that answer, asks if he's too sore for some morning sparring, Tele says no, and the two go off together

So um...I hope this counts as letting you "hear more" about the Teleneo doomed yaoi with Telestratus crumbs at the end lol. Like I said, this is just the gist of the plot and I'm leaving out some smaller details. Before anyone asks, I have no idea when I'll get this done. Due to the length I'll probably want to get all 4 chapters written before I start posting. But, as always, I'll be talking about it on here when I do start posting it. So yeah!

A few days ago I mentioned having and idea for a hermitcraft/life series/empires au based off of some songs that I have been listening to lately. Now while I didn’t get much feedback on the idea I figured after having a few days to mull it over I might as well post it since even if it doesn’t get a lot of love, I’ll never know until I post it and it would be a good to free up some head space before going back to school. Though I do want to thank the people who did like it as I really appreciate it! It kept me from scraping the idea all together.

Given how long the story is turning out to be I might break it into parts to make it more manageable to read. It will probably be at least three parts with the synopsis being the first part, the prologue/background being a second part, and the actual story being the third part. I will break up the story more if I think it needs it, and I will link all of them here

Elements of Royalty au:

Most of the prologue is based off of Tower of Ai by Vocaloid and animatic by Kaurnival. As it features most of the life series group. (i.e. Grian, Scott, Pearl, Scar, Bdubs, Joel, Gem, Cleo, Lizzie, and Jimmy). Beyond this point is spoilers for the Tower of Ai song as well as basic run though of what the story for this au will be. So go watch/listen if you don’t want to be spoiled before you see/hear it.

Prologue:

I will go more in detail when I write the Prologue for this au but basically the world where these characters live has fallen into ruin because The Ancient Builders wanted to stop relying on the Watchers to protect them. Since the cost of the Watcher’s protection was that selected people would have to fight in death games. In response to that when the next time the Watcher’s became bored the next time they just threw every natural disaster in the book at them. When it seemed like everyone was going to die the Watcher’s decided to send a prophecy that chosen person (Grian) could go retrieve 9 gifts that relate to the world and restore the balance, but he would have to travel to a tower at the ends of the earth to do so. Not wanting to go alone Grian asked around and Scott, Pearl, Scar, Bdubs, Joel, Gem, Cleo, Lizzie, and Jimmy were the only ones who would go with him. As they travel the group gets extremely close as they face dangerous situations together and only survive thanks to their friendship. Once they finally reach the tower Grian goes to relieve the first gift only for Scott to come in at the last second and steal it. This sets up a pattern where each of the nine people who came with Grian steal one of the nine gifts Grian was supposed to receive In the end Grian is left alone feeling betrayed and like he failed to save the world. Climbing up the tower he finds that the nine gifts are actually waiting for him there and it’s revealed that this was all an elaborate trick set up by the Watchers. The Watchers had sent all of the others a vision of what would happen if Grian took the gifts. Basically the original gifts were traps, and whoever took them would be killed as a kind of sacrifice to reveal the real gifts. So each member of the group decided to sacrifice themselves in hopes that once the real gifts had been revealed that Grian would be able to use them and save the world. None of them informed Grian of this as they knew he would try to stop them if he found out what they were doing. Each of the members of the group died in a way that related to each gift. Scott drowned, Pearl was burned alive, Scar basically had all of the water drained out of him a dehydrated, Bdubs went insane and since the song doesn’t make this clear probably died of sleep deprivation or disappeared all together. Joel was torn apart by vines, Gem was struck down by lightning, Cleo was torn apart by blades of wind, Lizzie froze to death, and Jimmy was consumed by lava. When Grian receives the true gifts he also gets to witness what happened to his friends as well as being shown why they did this. At this Grian is devastated as now even if he does manage to save the world he will have to do it without his friends and the he was basically the cause of their demise. So in misery he tries to fulfill his friends last wish to bring their world back to glory all the while mourning the lost of those he held dearest.

This is basically where the Tower of Ai ends and my au begins. This story was created when I tried to figure out the the other members of the life series (Ren, Martyn, Etho, Impulse, Skizz, Tango, and Mumbo) would fit in, and they would possibly met the other members of life smp if they had all died. So I’m this au when Grian tries to restore the world his desire for his friends to be alive is stronger than his desire to fix a already decaying world. So the Watchers run with that and offer to fulfill his desire since he won their game. When he agrees the world that the group has lived in fades away and all the people basically have quick painless death as they fade into oblivious. When Grian gets angry and confused at what the Watcher have done they explained that his desire was for his friends to be alive and since their souls were now trapped in the gifts they bestowed upon him they had to clear away the old world in order to create a new one where his friends could be alive. Grian is stunned to hear this but before he can do anything the Watchers take the gifts and use them to create the new world. In the process each member of the group is revived as they become the immortal spirit of their element.

Scott becomes the spirit of water able to control the ocean, rain and anything else made of water.

Pearl becomes the spirit of fire with her dog Tilly (who is going to be with her in the full story) as the embodiment of smoke.

Scar becomes the spirit of light, able to not only control light but magic and luck as well (gambling man)

Bdubs becomes the spirit of darkness, able to control the monsters of the night.

Joel becomes the spirit of the earth, able to create massive earthquakes.

Gem becomes the spirit of lightning, usually only showing up during stormy weather.

Cleo becomes the spirit of the winds, able to guide ships along their course.

Lizzie becomes the spirit of ice and snow, able to create blizzards.

Jimmy becomes the spirit of lava, he doesn’t have a vary big role in the overworld but with a new nightmarish dimension added into this world he had dominion over the nether.

Grian is overjoyed to see his friends alive again but the he stops when he realizes that while the Watchers did make a new world they didn’t put him in it. They instead left him on the remains of his old world which was just a singular tower on a floating island in the void. The Watcher’s tell him that as compensation for having to take his gifts away they we give him three new ones. The first is the remains of his old home which they refer to as the End dimension, the second is the ability to have control of death in the new world they created. However this will make him unable to visit the new world as since he is the embodiment of death now if he goes there the world will wither away at his presence. Lastly they give him the gift of being able to Watch over his friends for all eternity. With that the Watchers leave grian to his cruel fate. Forever knowing his friends are alive but being just out of reach of them as he sit in a dead world.

This is where the main story kicks in. After centuries have past the rest of our main cast (Ren, Martyn, BigB, Etho, Impulse, Skizz, and Mumbo) are born into the world that was created by Grian’s wish. I won’t go too in depth here since this post is already long enough. The last things I will cover is this first Mumbo won’t be making a appearance until late into the story. I have a good role for him it just won’t show up till later. Secondly Tango isn’t initially a blaze hybrid. I know that odd but I have a good reason! The only people who are initially hybrids are Ren and Martyn. Lastly I have been really into Fabric Fsntasy SMP so for this au Martyn with be a Ice Dragonborn.

Main Story Synopsis:

Prince Ren had been on the brink of death after being kicked out of his kingdom by his greedy father and his ruthless citizens. If he hadn’t accidentally stepped into Martyn cave he probably would have given up long ago and just let himself be consumed by the elements. As it was now though he and Martyn had found a surprisingly loyal group of companions and were spending their days traveling the land and hunting down new and exciting challenges. It had been months since his exile and Ren could honestly say he had never been happier. While he still held onto a few fond memories of his time growing up his fathers castle, deep down he had known that the kingdom hadn’t been his home in some time, if it ever was to begin with. He had easily discarded the idea of trying to go back and reclaim his thrown, However, after months of nomadic lifestyle and dungeon crawling he was starting to become desperate for a sense of stability for not just him but the companions he had made during his exile. With the only skills he had being the ones taught to him as the crown prince, Ren was unsure how to give his new friends the comfortable life he desired for him. So in a bid that was probably caused but what little bit of childhood naivety hadn’t been stamped out by father he made a wish on a falling star that he could be given the powers to create a paradise where he and his friends could live out the rest of their days in peace. Unfortunately for Ren there were forces out there that had been Watching over him for some time. Hearing his wish They decided to grant it but in a way that he would come to regret.

I know this is a silly question, but how do you find the vision and creativeness in your fanfics? I really want to try it writing my own fanfics but I just get frustrated and give up after a bit! Do you have any tips to help?

Also, I kinda look up to you btw, your work is so fun to read!

This is always kind of hard to answer because I never feel like I do a good job at putting it into words, but lemme try!

I daydream a LOT. I'm constantly making up scenarios in my head, be it with GF or something else, or my own OCs. They play in my head all the time like little movies. Sometimes they're short scenes or sometimes they're full plots, and I just sort of imagine them up on the fly. I've done it since I was a kid as an escapism thing.

I also listen to music frequently.

I combine those two things and the music inspires and moves with the scene I'm imagining, if that makes sense? They're like personal animatics. So when I write a plot, I usually am just writing down what I'm seeing in those mental-movies and then I'll flesh them out fully later. (I hope to eventually be able to make scenes into actual animatics lol)

For example, when I wrote the smut scene in Spores, I was listening to the Nocturnal Animals OST on repeat. There's a track on it called 'Exhibition', where you hear Amy Adams breathing heavily as the music plays, and it gave me the emotions I wanted to get down in written form, if that makes sense. It's very dreamy (the whole soundtrack is) and I used the emotion the music invoked and channeled it into the writing. The song is only about a minute long but if you re-read a bit of that scene with it on in your headphones you might see what I mean? Maybe not, idk lol.

In terms of ideas, they kind of just come? If you force them, they refuse, but sometimes I'm out or doing something randomly, and an idea or some dialogue will pop into my head. I make notes on it on my phone. If it's just dialogue, I'll then try to figure out a scene in which that conversation could take place and work backwards from there to find a plot. It's a bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle.

When I was coming up with Spores, my jumping off point was literally just: 'Reader and Ford have to take shelter in a cabin for some reason, and there are monsters outside'. Then it kind of ran away with itself. I ended up getting more and more ideas as I wrote because it was inspiring itself.

I don't really look for inspiration, as such, but I am inspired by things I see in passing. Like I saw this one guy in a supermarket the other day and he was wearing a really cute jumper with a slogan on it that I immediately reworked in my head to fit Ford and I have the idea saved on a doc to use in a fic a bit later. Just bits and bobs like that.

When you get stuck, you have to take your foot off the gas as soon as you hit that mental block or else you'll never get a new idea. I suck at this and I'm guilty of pushing myself constantly, but honestly the best ideas come when you least expect them to. Try reading something else or watching something you enjoy, or just listening to music with your eyes closed while you imagine stuff.

I'm not sure how helpful that is....... But it's what I do haha.

the people seem to be enjoying my pmv and someone said they d like to hear me ramble about it, and i want to ramble about it. so here we go

the struggles of making neglected space

part 1: this thing has been haunting me for at least a year now

so as i said in the description of the video- yes i know this song from the warrior cats map. for those who don t know there s a warrior cats map (multi-animator project) to this song, and it s absolutely beautiful, and you should watch it. it s actually one of my favorite warrior cats maps and that s saying a lot, there s a lot of really good ones-

anyways so i was watching the warrior cats map one day and. i don t remember exactly which part of the song it was, but i believe it was the line that goes "save me the ache of slow decay", that i heard and i was like, haha that kinda sounds like rain world. and then i listened to the rest of the song. and i was like holy shit this DOES sound like rain world- i mean. i think i realised this after i d had the idea for the pmv, but the song is literally about an abandoned building slowly deteriorating, there are very few stories where your characters are literally abadoned buildings lol, it just works too well

the final version of the pmv is in fact not my first attempt at making it- i always imagined the finished thing with beautiful colored backgrounds and some fully animated segments and cool lighting (probably because of the warrior cats map, which, again, is really beautiful) but i didn t think i d be able to pull that off. the final thing is 4 and a half minutes long, which doesn t sound like a lot, but my previous longest ever animatic was 3 minutes long and nowhere near as detailed and i spent the entirety of last summer on that one. this was a big project

the first attempt at making neglected space was in october 2023. i decided that i wasn t gonna do the pretty bgs and fancy lighting, but i was going to animate it! well, not exactly animated, more like manual frame by frame twinning (kind of like what i did for the terrible things saint animatic, but a bit smoother) it was going to have different color palettes for all the different flashbacks and stuff, but i only ever got the first 4 shots done

i think the reason i gave up on it the first time is because i was trying to make it in an animation program, and my poor laptop could not handle it- it was really laggy and annoying to draw in, so i just gave up eventually. i really don t like the art for it anymore

oh yeah, it should be mentioned, i have a kind of dumb way of making my animatics. apparently some people make them in animation programs. i just draw everything in a drawing program, save all the pieces as pngs and edit them together at the end. idk if that s weird but that s how i ve always done it lol

attempt no 2 was in april 2024. this attempt got a bit further, i got to the shot of survivor and monk reaching for eachother in the void (so i d made about a minute of it). i didn t get to editing everything i had drawn of it, but here s the first few shots of it

oh yeah, this is the one where i got the idea to write the lyrics in the color of which character in meant to be saying them :D i think it looks a lot cooler as subtitles tho. that yellow was barely visible on some of the bg colors

i think i gave up on this one cuz i just got burnt out. i still thought the idea was cool. but in my head i was still imagining it very beautifully rendered and i didn t like a lot of the art i d made for this attempt, so i gave up

attempt no 3 is from may 2024, and this one was colored! this time i had actually planned out some of the color palettes

and this one was once again going to be kind of animated! still making it in my drawing program (even tho i think this was after i got my new laptop that i have now, but i wasn t gonna try with the animation program again), but it was essentially gonna look like the final one, except with slightly nicer color palettes and slightly less detailed bgs. this one didn t get very far

it is the only one that didn t get to the shot with the title. i assumed that i got burned out so quickly because i was trying to make it so detailed, so i decided that even tho i really want to make it as pretty as it is in my head, that s probably not going to happen

i briefly fantasized about making neglected space a storyboarded map, but then i remembered that i ve never hosted a map before and no one knows who i am so that would take forever to be finished and probably wouldn t end up looking exactly how i wanted it. still, a fun thought

attempt no 4 was called "neglected space storyboard edition", in honor of the idea of making it a storyboarded map. i knew that wasn t happening, but i was like ok, i just want to see some version of this idea realised. let s just make it some messy sketches, as if it was the storyboard of a map. just to see it put to paper. i never edited any of it together, but here s some bits of it!

ah yes, this was during the very brief time when i was drawing iterators with 3 fingers on their hands to match the scugs. i would still do that but drawing these guys is the only reason i somewhat know how to draw hands and i don t want to lose my practice so. i don t do that anymore. but it s fun.

i actually still really like the art for this one!! the colors are nice and at this point my style was pretty close to how it is now. in fact for the shot of survivor and monk in the void in the final version, i was struggling with drawing it and i ended up just using the sketches from this version lol

this one s fine. but again in my head this thing had always been beautifully rendered and i just wasn t happy with it as a low effort animatic

and then summer vacation came

and i had spent the entirety of last summer vacation making the fall, my previous biggest project, that i was really proud of. and now i had the time and i felt the need to work on another big animatic

and i was like. fuck it. we re making neglected space

and we re making it beautiful, with beautiful shading, and beautiful fully rendered backgrounds, and if i feel the need to animate bits of it then i am. i m making this thing the way it is in my head if it s the last thing i do.

and i did. i m kind of surprised i finished it, but then again i kind of think i did it out of spite. usually i get bored of big projects and take months long breaks but for this one i never did. i really wanted to make this thing man

ParaSenses Update

Hi everyone! We wanted to give you a little update on how the comic is moving forward, along with our work progress! We have a few notes to give for those of you who are interested, and how we plan to keep going in the future.

Art Style

First of all we do want to say that we have found a new work flow that works a lot faster for the both of us! We were struggling in our beginnings to find a consistent art style (that some might have noticed between chapter 1.1 and chapter 1.3) that we do believe we have fully fixed. With this new found style, we are able to work between panels a lot faster.

Something we always wanted was to have our own backgrounds drawn, and our characters shaded. This will take more time to do, but we hope you all understand this artistic decision we took. We did cut corners on any heavy shading to cut back on time, but we want to give the best quality possible.

Chapter Length

The chapters have all been pre-written in advance, and we have realised just how terribly long these have ended up being. However, we do not want to cut them up to the point of releasing five to six panels a week just to push out content.

We will continue to cut our chapters in a few pieces as we have previously done (chapter 2.1, chapter 2.2, chapter 2.3, etc...) but make sure one chapter is fully done to release it ever two weeks. This will give us time to work on the next few chapters, and Patreon content. We still want to release long chapters for people to enjoy even if the time is more distanced, than releasing them in smaller increments.

Character Design

Small changes that will be done for the characters for chapter 2 is their color scheme. A small modification has been done to adjust their tone:

Blair

Blair's colors for his clothes were too clashing with his skin and face. Not only that, the line art was hard to see on his gloves, and we felt that the red was too sharp. We made small modifications on his clothing colors-

-for something much softer!

Xephan

We found a different kind of problem for Xephan. His color schemes completely blends together; his gloves are almost the same color as his hair, his pants are the same tone as his coat... It makes him extremely difficult to color (Avery's note: And I'm the one coloring him. So I remade his color palette.) Unfortunately, I didn't keep a before picture, but here's Xephan in the comic beforehand.

He's blending a whole lot together. I made some very light rearrangement so his glove at least doesn't disappear if it gets in the same shot of his hair.

It's faint, but we didn't want to make something too apparent. HOWEVER. This isn't the last change Xephan will go through. His design is overly complex, and takes too much time to do (Avery's note: Not only that, half the time I receive the line art to color and shade, Xephan is missing at least an element or two.) And so, after the first mission these two will go on, we will reduce the amount of clutter he has on him so it at least doesn't feel out of the blue.

Time Frame

Finally, when it comes down to time before the release of our chapters, we still need more time to work. Life has been hectic on our side, but we've been working everyday to make this happen, and we wanted to show you guys that this isn't a project that's been discarded. We are still working day and night to make it happen. We also have a small animatic coming up in the meantime to thank you for your patience. 🍈 - (copy and pasted from previous ask) - While Dib is my favorite blorbo, I don’t have too many (interesting) headcannons for him, so I’ll put Zim instead. I’m also not going to do too many because I don’t want to make a super long list.

Zim is Narcissistic - I LOVE this one, and the idea was originally introduced to me by an Invader Zim LosT animatic (which is also what brought me to start writing fics and started my love for BMTH). While it is obvious throughout the show, I hadn’t really thought about it until then.

Zim gets banished from the Irken Empire (post Florpus) - I always imagined the Tallest just getting fully fed up with Zim after the Florpus hole literally almost killed them, and just after all of the trouble Zim put them through. (not sure if it’s confirmed if the Florpus killed them or not, but for this headcannon they didn’t die.)

Angst - I LOVEEEEEE WRITING ANGST. I love deep frying these innocent little characters in unnecessary trauma, especially the sunshine characters. I think a lot of it is me often projecting my own issues and trauma onto my writing (mostly making it 1000x worse, but that’s besides the point), often because it’s healing to me to read/write about characters going through the same problems as me. I also like being able to write about these characters healing, and I think it heals me a little too to be able to write a character slowly coming out of that depressive and traumatic state, or watching their partner comfort them, or even just seeing them be with their friends for the first time after the events. (Obviously before dumping more traumatic events on them)

Crack - not much of an explanation for this one, I just like writing characters do dumb shit.

Fluff - I’m putting this at 3 not because I don’t like writing fluff, I just find it hard to. It’s so refreshing to be able to write just happy little characters do happy little things, but to me, it gets kind of boring and I really struggle to stay on the more joyful side of things.

Smut - won’t read it, won’t write it. I could care less if someone else likes to read/write it, but to me, it’s just… gross? I don’t know, it makes me uncomfortable, so I’ll probably never read/write it.

it is really interesting to me how for as much as I Feel very artistically motivated when hypomanic I find it incredibly difficult to Execute anything that's in my head, digitally at least. I have all these ideas and the moment I go to pin them down they're too weaselly and loose, like trying to get a good grip on some jello. I can do traditional art no problem but digital stuff, not so much, which is why my last 2 posts have just been doodles, this is fine by me im not pressuring myself I just find it interesting. I've always had an easier time sitting down to make art when depressed which sounds great on paper but it's because I just do nothing else. not eating nor sleeping barely using the bathroom and such etc. since going on lamictal I've had a lot less of a struggle with depression which is fandamntastic but it's a little sad, sometimes, to think of how much art I "lose" by being healthy. arguably you can't lose what doesn't exist but y'know what I mean, right? but maybe if I can get the hypomania wrangled, I can channel it into making more art, more illustrations i mean. I think the animatic I did was thanks to hypomania, so clearly I can do these loose sketches no problem, it's just buckling down to do detailed work that becomes impossible, because every 10 or so minutes I Need to go be doing something elee—usually pacing aimlessly, though sometimes i get sucked into social media or just abruptly derealize. I've tried a lot of different tactics and workarounds and they've just slowly lost effectiveness so after my top surgery in July my psych wants to put me on benzos for it. maybe that'll help?¿ I'm hoping so. since my dx isn't "official" (in order to avoid the lovely Florida ableism machine that is our healthcare system) I can't get on antipsychotics or anything for it, so if that doesn't work, it forces my hand. besides that, really, I won't be able to afford medications once I get booted off my insurance at 26, so I suppose I should probably start working more on wrangling things without meds.... and I'm hoping art can help with that but I may be making more personal art about it perhaps .... i originally talked about it much more in detail here. this includes the general plot and the intro :> and there's also this short animatic-ish thing i did with one of the songs in the playlist, marina's are you satisfied?

the main thing that was omitted that i feel is too important for me to exclude from at least this universe is that. well, as tumblr user georgierre i think it's obvious. the reason pierre was omitted is mostly because i didn't want to make this fic too centered on a romantic relationship, since the original had them as an established couple. actually, in my drafts, the au was called "the phone call au" because it was literally just about how george and pierre navigated an established relationship through a phone call, which mirrors the fic i based the plot on (for all the honest world to feel).

the relationship they have is very nuanced and needs a lot of attention for me to be able to do it with justice, so i decided to just Remove it. i did manage to find out what i'd like to do with them, and i think i can do it if ever i write a pierre pov— i call it the "pierre radicalization arc" LOL. it wouldn't be established but all i can say is for now, pierre has liked george for a very long time.

another part of my fic i REALLY wanted to write from my original outline is a midway point interlude, where nicky leaves george for a few days because he wanted to watch the silverstone gp. the only reason this was omitted is because sandy, nicky's girlfriend plays an important role here as well, but only makes the most narrative sense when we include pierre in this since i made them narrative parallels.

instead of toto figuring out about george at a random tesco, nicky basically gets summoned left and right at silverstone because of the rumors that george is staying with him. it starts with alex, then pierre, then toto, and i actually have a bit of the toto scene written out:

on the other side, sandy surprise visits nicky's flat (knowing george is there, so it's ok) because she wants to prepare for his birthday. so while nicky's off tending to pierre, sandy helps george in london. she makes him watch the barbie movie in this iteration LOL.

some things i've omitted explaining in detail were at least added into the final version in small bouts, like the mention of george's holiday epiphany, or him disassociating in hungary. they're a little lengthy so i'm just saying you are ALWAYS free to ask me more stuff to expound specific points, because i know i wouldn't be able to fit them in one post. i genuinely mean that, nothing would be too annoying :3

lastly, there were things in the new version that also got omitted. what's funny is the slumber party was supposed to happen after george's nightmare, but i thought it was too optimistic or contrasted too much. another, was that there was supposed to be a rain scene! like, a scene that's supposed to represent them curing their lost childhood by playing silently in the rain, inspired by bluey's rain episode (hence why the song is in the playlist near the end + the ig post in the end mentions the episode song). it was supposed to happen after they watch preludes, then when i felt it too tonally off, especially since we don't see george express his thoughts abt preludes, i tried moving it before they left for são paolo, but that also felt too off. i just decided to hint at it, while i made the slumber party scene their true reclamation of childhood.

Recently got a cute purple bow I started wearing. I got my ears pierced on Outer Science Day (8/31), coincidentally! I got some small cheap stainless steel star ones for now. After that, I'll go get some post earrings 🙏

The school semester started for me on the 4th, so I'll be busier and won't have the time to draw as often.

I clipped my bow to my hair loosely so it doesn't tug on my hair but it almost fell off, so I'll also think about getting a bow with a scrunchy eventually too. Since I wanna wear a cute purple bow like Selena, but I still want it to be comfy. Right now this bow is still fine ^^

Admittedly I'm still thinking of what ship I wanna draw for my birthday on 9/12… I think it'll be posted late since I was mainly working on school work this week. I think it needs to be a Sen-core ship.

I was having a hard time deciding what ship I wanted to draw. I feel like it should be XanLena since Selena is my KHR OC (and beloved wife), but I'm also open to others too. I think I want to draw them in traditional Viet clothes as a redraw of my old XanLena pieces in the past.

I also considered drawing KuroEne or JuAli.

Since for JuAli, I've been sketching ideas irt a potential Tegaki fan-animatic with them. Particularly the Vocaloid Song crossover I thought of...

I also had some other ideas too of art ideas to draw with them! I wanna draw them in Chinese and Arabic traditional clothes, and then have them wear matching couple hanfu at some point.

I really want to make coloured doodle ship pieces for the rest of my ships that can match the quality of the KuroEne one I drew.

The expressions and colours are so good in my recent KuroEne art that I want to be able to match the same level of quality for my other ships too.

Rigging Test 1: Scene 6

I thought it time to finally bite the bullet and do some playing around with rigging, essentially teaching myself, since I haven't ever ventured into rigging a character before. However, I wanted to begin with some simpler assets for the background, so I began with the leaves on the trees.

Leaves

There were some huge tweaks that had to be made to my intended scene set up in order to get animating the leaves to work. Originally, I intended to only animate the front set of leaves for the tree, but then I considered that it might look a bit odd with the back leaves stationary, so I went into the original background files and created further PNGs for the back leaves, now having them split into 3 separate assets. To begin, I went about animating with pegs and the movement tool, creating key frames for the leaves and skewing them back and forth to create a rustling effect. This turned out fine, though looked a little bit stiff in the long run, especially with the loop.

To remedy this, I went researching about the different nodes on offer, and came across the shake and quake nodes via this video by Youtuber ZeBirdBrain. The nodes both impart a tremor in different amounts, and I believed this might be able to spice up the movement a little, so after playing around with the nodes, as can be seen below, I achieved a nice shuffling of the leaves.

Character

Not wanting to stop there and feeling a bit on top of the world at successfully impacting some movement onto the scene, I went and decided I would try to actually rig the character. This proved daunting, to say the least.

I began by looking up rigging in harmony on youtube, and after trawling several videos to find what I was looking for, this video by Youtuber Onion Skin, somebody I have referred to in the past, proved my best bet.

As per his instructions, I began with a sketch.

His advice was largely to keep body parts as separate entities, even in this basic stage, so as to make lining it easier in the future. I knew this scene would be the easiest of them all to rig, as the movement is minimal and only one perspective of the character is seen, and it's without any facial features. As such, I referenced both my character sheet and the animatic to create this sketch (bigger in size since I've learned from previous quality control mistakes).

From here, I began the lining process, then the colouring in, to get a basic model for my character, each limb and moveable part on a separate layer.

Then came making the bones for the character, and this was tricky, since my perspective was vastly different to the character he was creating, so I had some deciding to do on which assets would have a skeleton.

The bones I decided on were placed in the torso and pigtails, the central points of movement.

From here came a lot of grouping, inserting kinematic outputs and resetting of pivot points to create a solid rig for the character.

The animating itself was quite fun, getting to work with tilts and rotates and bends to achieve a realistic effect, though I had a lot of layers.

I will upload the final result of the movement I managed to achieve, minus the presence of the Dad character, and the correct character placement on another post.

Overall, for my first attempt at properly rigging I am so so impressed with how it turned out, and I really feel as if I have burned a lot of the process into my memory. I will be continuing with rigging for smaller assets and other scenes, so I'll have plenty more to show off in future posts.

hello!! im alicia, im a teenage girl who is currently on the hunt for commissions, if youre interested 😔 there are two different things coming up soon that id really like money for, that are both really important to me. first and foremost, im going to a convention in late september which some of my all time favorite artist and voice actors are going to—people who’ve shaped my whole childhood, and i feel like this is likely my only opportunity to meet them. but—that takes money! that i dont have. While I do work a job, i won’t be able to get many shifts in prior to the convention because of the way my work’s schedule is, but also because im still a student 💔

Secondly, the hello kitty truck is coming soon to a place I can actually manage to go, and its really important to me i can get cool merch, as silly as that sounds 💔💔 while its just a goofy little cafe, i have been actively trying to make it to one of it’s pop-ups for the last 4 years, checking the website to see its upcoming locations at least once a month throughout this time.

1. I've been working on FGCC for over a year now! I don't know the exact date but I know it started in April last year, possibly around the 15th?

2. I'm not entirely sure what it's going to be to be honest! A graphic novel seems like the most likely to happen, but I also have prose written for it and some storyboards for possible animatics/animations, so it's still pretty much up in the air lol

3. Funnily enough I haven't done that much? I plan on it having 4-5 arcs over a single school year, and I kinda sorta have two with most of their story done, and a vague concept for the first arc, but That's It, everything else is still a WIP lol

4. Absolutely! I don't want it to be like a massive hit or anything but I would love to share it with friends at least :]

5. Not in a traditional sense, but a lot of my OCs take after my personality and appearance, you might be able to notice some recurring traits in them if I ever talk extensively about them

To give an example, out of my 24 OCs, I think 9 are at least slightly chubby, 5 have eyebags, 2 major ones incorporate a theme of feeling useless, and 8 are nerdy in one way or another

I'm going to reply via a reblog because I have a feeling I'm going to be obnoxiously wordy in this so you've been warned.

I'm gonna start this off by saying if you enjoy digging around for narrative context then power to you. Clearly it's a sentiment that a lot of people share given just how dedicated people are to compiling the various patreon posts and comics. And I'm not against the idea of having additional media to give context to things that didn't make the cut in the main property. But I do think there is a limit to how much story you can tuck away in additional media before the audience has to ask why it isn't included in the main videos.

I'm also not gonna argue your point about how you can *generally* understand the plot of Alien Stage from the music videos alone. Because you can. But Alien Stage isn't trying to tell a simple, character only story. Alien Stage is trying to tell a complex story about a dystopian world and the people who are trapped within it and those who are trying to rebel against it. And additionally, Alien Stage isn't just a small production- it's has a massive international fanbase, it has official merch production and pop-up stores. There are a *lot* of eyes on these videos which arguably means that we should be expecting a higher quality. And I don't mean the animation itself- nobody can argue that the animation isn't gorgeous, because it is. From the very first video Alien Stage has had beautiful animation that has only jumped in quality over time. The same cannot be said for the narrative integrity of the videos. I also don't think it's unreasonable to expect my narrative being told via music videos to, y'know, deliver on what it's promising.

You also cannot make the argument that the videos are more character focused so it's fine for them to not have much narrative cohesion for 2 reasons; 1) because the videos also are not good at establishing characters beyond a few key traits and 2) alien stage is not just about characters and 3) the characters present in alien stage are who they are because of the world they grew up in, if we know nothing about the world we will never be able to fully grasp the characters.

For the first point, I'm going to start right off the bat with the first Round. All we learn about Mizi and Sua from that video is that they were raised in some sort of luscious grassy area and trained to sing, that they care for each other deeply, and that Mizi was not expect Sua to die and is traumatized by it. In 4 minutes that is all you can glean about them as people. Even looking at the MiziSua video released after you still cannot glean anything more than that Mizi was raised in a warm, caring environment while Sua clearly was not. And that Mizi's cheerfulness also brightened up Sua's life. The Mizisua video is 2 minutes long so after 6 minutes spent with these characters I can't even tell you about their personality. Which is criminal in a story that wants you to feel attached to these characters to make their deaths hit all the more. It isn't as if it's impossible to further establish characters via musical animations/animatics- you don't even have to look at vocaloid you can look at anyone making OC animatics/animations on youtube.

This minimal character information is continued with Till's introduction- arguably the place where it is crucial to establish him going forward. And all we learn about him is that he is in love with Mizi, he has been kept in chains or in a cage for most of his life but for some reason is also in the garden place where we saw Mizi/Sua despite him not being shown at all in the first video, and that he appears to be possibly violent or at least incredibly abrasive. I could go on but I think my point has been made clear. I'm purposefully not referencing any information we learn outside of the music videos because to me, that information isn't relevant. I should be able to glean more than that paltry bit of info in 2 minutes. Alien Stage only ever establishes 1 or two key points about a character (one of which is almost always in reference to some sort of romantic entanglement with another character), minimal info on the environment, and then call it a day. Which when you have a world as big as the one Alien Stage is *trying* to establish is not adequate.

For the second point- Alien Stage is not just supposed to be us looking at characters in this fucked up world and going "damn thats fucked." Starting from All-In and Round 5 Alien stage is trying to build up the story of a rebel human group and what their plans are in regards to the show. Going off the videos, clearly they're here to save the contestants and stop the show, right? Except no apparently saving Mizi was just a lucky grab for them (per what I have heard from a friend that is deep into Alien Stage lore, feel free to correct if I'm wrong). Not that you would ever be able to grasp that from the video. Nor are you able to even guess what the rebels are trying to do. When that rocket goes up at the end of Wiege, you have no context or reason as to why you should care about it. As far as a viewer knows, it's just there for flare. You also don't know why suddenly the rebel forces are just able to take the stage rather than being killed by the armed guards that have been established to always be watching the contests vs before when it was clearly just Hyuna and Mizi inside the building with the 2 rebel dudes outside. It makes what for all purposes should be a huge moment fall flat because unless you know *you cannot ever grasp the full context.* Which is criminal to those who have been following along with the videos. It isn't a matter of I think the patreon info needs to be more accessible- there are tons of compilations and such around if you go digging. But I shouldn't *have* to go digging to understand the plot in the video itself. I should be able to grasp the narrative and the characters and then go digging for more info on the characters and world that's not needed for the plot but is cool world building/character nuances.

I think the third point is self-explanatory from a writing perspective so I won't waste anybody's time typing out more about it. What I do want to emphasize is that by saying Alien Stage does a poor job fleshing out/establishing characters I am not saying that they don't have emotions that are easily read. One of the creators' strongest aspects *is* the emotionality. It's why their best bits are the ones that focus on the emotionality- but it's also why the lack of fleshing out hits so much harder because you can see these characters have life to them but not one that the animation gives us proper time to see. Because we are only given the barebones in the videos, the entire series suffers for it and I think that's a damn shame.

A miscellaneous point about why I think Alien Stage has such a hard time with telling its narrative is because the songs themselves don't offer anything. It's the same thing of where the songs are hitting emotional and sometimes symbolic beats- but on their own they don't contextualize anything. And the animation isn't doing much to contextualize the lyrics either. Obvious there is a translation element to it if you don't speak Korean- which I do not. However, with the creators making their own English translations I am assuming they are offering what they believe is the best translation of the song lyrics. When looking at musical narratives such as theatrical musicals or once again, vocaloid productions, the music itself is just as much a narrative factor as is the visuals. They work in tandem to tell the story. The visuals and music in Alien Stage are almost completely devoid of interaction, they rarely build off of each other with the only exception being that the songs do well to set the emotional tone. Or set up an emotional contrast such as in Ruler of My Heart where the song is purposefully upbeat and pop-based to contrast the emotional trauma Luka is helping to inflict upon Mizi in the arena.

I'm running out of steam but I hope my rambling helped clear up some of my thoughts on it. I do think Alien Stage has a lot of potential there, I can see why people would get hooked on it, but I've only ever really seen positive buzz about it when to me, these issues are very obvious.

Not to swing a bat at a hornet's nest but I genuinely do not understand how Alien Stage got as popular as it is with how abysmal its visual storytelling is. Unless you have access to the patreon and other information from the creators' posting you genuinely will never understand the story they are trying to tell. And when you are making animated videos to tell said story being able to discern the plot from the videos alone really should be the point. I shouldn't have to go digging to learn vital plot details like what the human rebels are up to. Obviously there will be a limit to how much you can convey- but we have had animated music videos telling comprehensive narratives with compelling characters for decades. To me Alien Stage puts way more emphasis on showcasing beautiful shots/moments of fluid animation rather than emphasizing the narrative they're trying to tell. The emotional storytelling of Alien Stage is incredibly well done, the creators are excellent at capturing the emotion backing characters and scenes in their animations but that aspect is lampshading the horrendous narrative issues. Not saying that people can't enjoy things but seeing it so acclaimed is wild to me as someone who watched vocaloid videos back in the day that despite having objectively worse animation certainly managed their narrative elements much better.

So. Wilbur still leaves* and Tommy spirals and becomes deadest on killing Dream. He believes that all of his problems will be solved once he’s is out of the picture. He gets Tubbo and they jump Dream, run over to Punz, he reverses it and they capture clingyduo. Same as canon. (But I would change some dialogue that really bothered me, like the revive book having mind control powers and of course the staged disc finale.)

Clingy duo escape at the sacrifice of Tommy’s discs I guess. They come up with the nuke plan but instead of blowing up the prison Tommy plans on leading them out to logstedshire to cause the least damage. (Since I still think it’s really stupid that changing the trajectory of the nuke just slightly to the left would destroy the whole server. As if just hitting the prison wouldn’t cause the same amount of damage??)

(Also while we’re here Jack wouldn’t be involved in any of this because I hc his issues got sorted out during the stream where he blew up the hotel. He was able to get his closure and move on, don’t ask me how justwaituntiligettohiminpaintedillusions cough cough) Anyways.

Tommy sorta hits his lowest. He prepares to die. He dons his full L’Manburg uniform for the occasion (because the idea of him always planning to be buried in his uniform makes me lose my mind) At this point he thinks he’s lost everything. He’s ready to go down with the ship. At least he thinks he is…

Tubbo says totems won’t save him but he offers Tommy one anyways because he hopes he’s wrong. And Tommy takes it because he hopes he’s wrong too.

Tommy sets off to get the grilled cheese duo and succeeds in leading them to logstedshire. How? Uhh maybe he snuck in the prison with invisibility and yoinked a book from them. Something drastic enough to scare them into chasing after him.

They make it to logstedshire and I won’t go too into it because I’m making an animatic to better explain all this but Tommy is determined to go down laughing and Dream takes some L’s.

Nuke hits, Logstedshire is destroyed Dream and punz are dead and Tommy is alive. Tommy is alive and that shakes him up a bit. I don’t think it fully hits him until the next day. But physically he’s okay minus the new glittery golden streak in his hair (it’s barely noticeable unless he’s in the sun which I think is funny. Gets a cool hairstreak and it’s not even that visible, how unfair!)

Then we get to the fun part! A slow and thorough journey of Tommy unpacking all the shit he went through. Because surprise! Killing Dream didn’t solve everything like he hoped it would. The happy ending is that Tommy is given the chance to work towards his happy ending, yknow?

I imagine that when he hit his lowest point, yknow preparing to die, that he doesn’t quite leave that point. He thinks he does because he’s running off the adrenaline of finally defeating Dream. But he doesn’t quite realize how unfair and dangerous it was for him to have to do that in the first place. And in time he starts to realize that with Tubbo’s help (and maybe other characters help too, maybe Wilbur hears about what happened and comes back, of course there’s Quackity too. All the people who care about Tommy come to support him but they’re too late. They’re too late and have to realize that. They weren’t there for Tommy when he needed them but they’re here now.)

Tldr: What would a happy ctommy ending look like if I wrote it? Dream dies, and Tommy sets off on the journey to unpack all his trauma and learn how to find his happiness with his small support system. (So basically what I’m doing with Painted Illusions sksjjdj)

Also to be clear this is just the little world/au that lives in my head. This isn’t what I wanted the real ending to be. I don’t think all these ideas are very feesible in the medium of streaming. So if you had asked me what I think should’ve been done differently with the finales I would have a different answer.

*I still dislike the fact that Wilbur left at all. I feel like his story would’ve been stronger if he had stayed and healed. But for the sake of this specific ending he’d have to leave for Tommy to go to spiral the way he does

Hello There!! :) Sorry to bother you but I just wanted to let you know that some leaks for future episodes of Helluva Boss, for EP 6 And 12 were just leaked on 4Chan and I wanted to know your thoughts if you saw them. I've seen them myself..and I've gotta say, this just made me more annoyed and made me just wanna avoid the show even more, it's so damn predictable and it's just more proof that the show refuses to put Stolas in the wrong and call him out on what he's done and make us feel bad for him, and he's just nothing but this "UWU baby. 😒🤦‍♀️ It's just so frustrating, I REALLY don't see this show getting any better and seeing these animatics for the future episodes of the season just proves my point.

Heck, sometimes I'm even wondering why HB needed to be made, yes it was obviously made to keep fans invested and entertained until Hazbin's arrival but this spinoff has just been a mess and all over the place, and relys on shipping to get the fans entertained + I feel like a spinoff should be able to stand on it's own without connecting to the show it's based on, ya know? It also just feels Viv isn't as passionate about HB as she is with HH, like HB the more I think about it, just feels like nothing but a cash grab and just there to keep fans invested, and it'd working since the fans will eat up anything from Viv. I'm not saying Viv and her team aren't passionate and hard work is shown with the Animation + Voice Acting, but everything else, especially the writing..isn't very good. Idk man, I just feel like HB is just a cash crab and such, at least with HH it has so much potential and something going for it and seems like a story Viv actually WANTS To tell and explore, which I hope it delivers. 🤞💙 But with HB, it's just all over the place and it went from a comedy show about assassin Imps to a romantic yaoi fanfic show, it's facts. I thought this show was called, "Helluva Boss" not "The Stolitz Show"/"The Stolas Show" This show just feels like a fanfiction and all it's emotional scenes feel emotionally manipulative too and just not earned, they're just there to make you feel for the characters. For example, remember how in EP 6 (Truth Seekers) It seems Blitz was gonna change for the better and try treating Moxxie better and stop being an asshole? Well, the next episode just completely throws Blitz "Depth" right out of the window and he goes back to his same ways and WE are apparently supposed to feel back for him, especially at the end of that episode..but I don't, because he did that to himself.

And while yes, it takes time for a character to grow and change, they still try putting effort in the process when it comes to redeeming and trying to better themselves and you slowly see them grow as time goes on, even if they slip up at times and it isn't easy. But with Blitz, it's like Viv and the writers completely forgot about the last episode, and his and Moxxie's so called "heart to heart" moment and just had him to continue being the same unlikeable, loud, annoying, creepy Boss that he's always been since the Pilot, and had him stalk his employees (ON THEIR ANNIVERSARY, BTW) just because it's funny.

(Let's not forget that HB pretty much spoiled HH and it's premise when it comes to Charlie's goal to redeem demons and help them get to Heaven. But it just seems pointless and just reckons HH, since Heaven is revealed to be just as bad Hell and it just makes Charlie's goal useless, tbh. Though, I like to pretend the C.H.E.R.B. EP doesn't exist, Lol.)

(I've mentioned beforehand that I really do use to enjoy and like the show a lot and was a fan, but things started to take a turn sometime after EP 3, where it went downhill for me and I saw a drop in quality. I rewatched the show and saw in-depth posts on here and just realized how bad some things are in the show and just how flawed it really was. I mean, when being a fan, I didn't really pay attention and just saw on flawed it was, plus I also stopped watching and left because of it's toxic and horrible fandom and how they attack and harass you if you say one negative thing on the show or their favorite ships, and say you're homophobic..which is ridiculous and just so sad, especially when some of these fans are adults, almost close to their 30's and yet act like children when not everyone blindly praises the show like they (and the majority of the fandom) do.)

Honestly, Stolas existing as a character hardcore irks me at this point. Not gonna lie, lol! Just knowing this show is going to try its hardest to have us pity him or Blitzo, even when they don't even deserve it, frustrates me. For real!

I'm not gonna spill a drip of tea about the leaks, but from what I've seen so far (in some ways, in these specific scenes), let's just say it's similar to the last few episodes that were released. And if you read my rants, you'll know it'll be the same issues I've mentioned about this piece of crumbled mess we call a web show. At this point, I really am done with this show. Like, I'll still watch the show just to make fun of it, but my ratings for it will stay at an all-time LOW!

Yeah, I can pretty much tell from the first season that Viv's effort and determination for HB faltered completely and will probably never click again. It's no secret she's more invested in HH. I mean, it's fine if you wanna put more of your focus on the MAIN show you really wanted to release. It would actually make sense that her interest and effort for her spinoff fell drastically because she started paying more attention to HH (even if it is the main reason why it's terrible). I can tell at this point that she loves Hazbin Hotel a lot more than Helluva Boss (I mean, I do too. But that's not the point) However if you're going to make a spinoff just to keep your fans entertained enough to have patience for the big thing, at least put more effort in the plot and the potential the show could have. And I'm not just talking about the fans that will go ~~uwu gaga~~ or teary-eyed over everything that occurs in this mess as long as it keeps the ship going. I'm talking about the people that actually expect this show to make sense and have some good plot points!!

For real, where the holy hell did the plot go!!?? What is the point of this show?? What lessons are being learned?? If there are any lessons learned, they should've been learned from the very beginning it became something serious instead of the characters going through the same repetitive sh*t only to not learn a damn thing. If I'm missing something, someone's gonna have to let me know! Cuz, my god! This show IS ALL OVER the place with its plot points! How are you gonna expect me to feel bad about any of these characters if they're never gonna learn their lesson? You can't just make a scene where they start to see the error of their ways and make it seem like they're going to try and change for the better only to completely forget about all that they learned (or are supposed to learn) just to act the same as they always been. Like, what was the point of that build-up? Where did all the potential go?? You mean to tell me all that was just some kind of filler episode that supposedly never happened???? NO! That's not how this works! You can't just do that??

It was supposed to be just a comedy. A sitcom about a bunch of assassins getting their job done. Fulfilling requests from every sinner to kill or get revenge on anybody in the living that did them wrong. We only had very few episodes containing that plot, only for it to turn into a drama and into a rom-com added with pointless drama so suddenly since episode 7.

And you raise a good point about the whole heaven thing. Charlie's goal just seems completely pointless since the cherub episode. In heaven, Angels are supposed to be seen as... well, the complete opposite of what the sinners and demons of hell are. We're supposed to see them as good people ( or angels?). The kind of people that do no wrong. Or probably have done some wrong but begged God for forgiveness so they earn their place in heaven (not really sure if it works like that. That's just based on my assumption and just seems to make sense). They could be considered really nice beings who hate committing felonies and only want to be good. But all we saw was a whole freakin' FACADE from the Cherubs!!! They just seemed sweet while only wanting to keep people alive. But later, they literally try to murder and fight these imps!! Cursing and even calling that old man sh*tty! Umm, WHAT?? Angels using bad words.... Is that even allowed?? Charlie wants to redeem every sinner... Okay, but what would be the point if they're just gonna act the same as they did in hell. They would just be keeping a whole facade to make themselves look good!

Yeah, Helluva Boss was enjoyable for a while. A short while actually. It wasn't perfect, but it was still enjoyable to watch. But unfortunately, it failed to be seen as one of the best shows I've seen. The plot is just not there anymore. The characters are terrible and fail at being characters. The jokes aren't even funny no more. They might as well be jokes for kids under 17 who just laugh at every single f bomb being dropped. The fans that do watch and enjoy this show might as well be a bunch of 12-year-olds if they don't even see one flaw it has. I'm sorry. But considering how toxic fans can get, I have every right to say this.
