my boss brought packages of bubblegum cigarettes to work and passed them out to everyone. so now sometimes i’ll be working with a coworker, and he’ll get overwhelmed and go “god i need a cigarette” and pull a piece of bubblegum out of a cigarette carton. it never gets less funny

I’m Aizposting. Everyone hates her. Um with good reason. But god it’s impossible to not have sympathy for her like!!!! Fuck!!!! She was so so desperate to get away and to make things better for the people of Kegar!!! And she was young and trusting and impatient and she wanted love and warmth and to make things BETTER because there were people starving NOW and all of those things made her so easy to manipulate. Oh my god. this is in my top 5 fics ever. I don't know what it is about this fic, but it feels like it was written for me personally. The found family and hurt/comfort in this fic are what really give it its wings, as well as the humor (I cried with laughter BOTH times I read it), and. the romance is absolutely sickening as well. Just an absolute delight all around. If you've ever gone to the beach with a big family, you know this can only end in drama.

From the description, I was a bit worried this was going to be nothing but angst. I was so incredibly wrong. This fic made me laugh so hard I cried. There's a scene where Klavier locks himself in the WAA bathroom out of sheer horror and awkwardness and refuses to come out, so they send Edgeworth in after him. I was cackling aloud. The secondhand embarrassment is tangible and it's absolutely delicious.

I've posted about this fic before, actually. I've never seen Pacific Rim. I have no interest in seeing Pacific Rim. This is a Pacific Rim AU- and it is genuinely one of the best things I've read in a long time. The Klapollo and Narumitsu are great in this fic, but the sibling relationship between Apollo and Trucy is the true focus, and where it really shines. I'm not a huge fan of high stakes action most of the time, but I was on the edge of my seat reading this fic. (This one is rated Mature for swearing and adult humor)

one of them in particular started posting a lot more political content as things in the US got progressively worse, and his entire viewer base got very pissy because they “followed him for star wars content, not politics.”

imagine being mad that the guy who talks about The Fantasy Politics Franchise cares about real life politics. yknow, the movies where they take down multiple fascist regimes? the various shows about governmental corruption? did we watch the same media? i’m sorry you lack basic pattern recognition skills but don’t get mad at the rest of us damn
