Hawthorne brothers sleeping head canons

Nash

-Loves spooning, generally tends to lean more towards big spoon but doesn't mind small spoon either.

-Goes to bed shirtless because he has a naturally high body temperature.

-He either immediately falls asleep or gets up and takes a walk until he can.

-Snores, albeit quietly

-Believes that the bed is for sleeping and nothing more, refuses to sit and scroll through his phone.

-Has a plain wooden bed

-He carved the headboard himself

-Often falls asleep in armchairs, hat over his eyes

-Just very vanilla overall

Grayson

-Has bad insomnia

-When he does get to sleep, he sleeps like the dead, and I mean like victorian child, father let me see the light one more time type shit

-Uses Lyra as a pillow.

-Loves it when she runs her fingers through his hair

-Very classy, wears silk pjs

-Likes to read before he goes to bed.

-Chronic doomscroller

-Avery gets super mad at him and has now banned phones in bed

-Tosses and turns like a rotisserie chicken, kicked Avery out of bed by accident one time

-Refuses to make his bed

-"It'll only get messy again anyways!"

-Wonder why

-Favourite cuddling position is where Avery uses his chest as a pillow

-He likes the pressure.

Xander

-Canonically builds pillow forts

-His bed has no duvet, just a bunch of blankets

-Mainly weighted/heated ones

-Also has no pillows, just a bunch of giant stuffed animals

-Curls up in the fetal position

-Talks in his sleep

-Will not sit in his bed unless he has 'bed clothes' on, and ill not allow anyone with 'outside clothes' on his bed

-Sometimes just sleeps on the floor.

-Lays his head in Max's lap and talks about gibberish until he falls asleep.

-He likes to be the little spoon.

You press record. The red light blinks. You sit a little straighter, already fighting a smile, as the words leave your mouth, "So today, I’m gonna see how well my current boyfriend knows me.”

You don't look at him. Not yet. But you feel the shift.

From the corner of your eye, Jameson is already leaning forward, elbows on knees, watching. That slow, wicked grin starting to curl at the edges of his mouth.

“Come again?” He asks low and amused.

The air between thickens immediately.

You finally turn your head, gaze brushing his, cheeks flushing just a little. The smirk on his face only grows wider, sharper.

You try to keep your cool, tone light - but the smile is evident on your lips.

“You know… at the moment.”

A beat.

You push it, “Like… current boyfriend.”

And then silence.

Jameson doesn’t blink. His gaze drifts slowly over your face, admiring the attempt, fascinated by it.

He just stares at you, like he’s trying to decide whether to laugh or lean in further. His smirk deepens, and when he speaks again, it’s soft - almost curious, “Interesting choice of words.”

“It’s just a word," your cheeks warm.

You look away, back towards the phone like you're going to continue.

He tilts his head, eyes locked on you - smirking like he’s seeing a riddle you didn’t even know you were asking.

His voice cuts through, “Is it?”

You pause.

And when you turn to look at him again, his grin deepens - slow, deliberate, like he’s savoring the moment.

Jameson leans back slightly, head tilted, “Current implies there’ll be a next.”

You open your mouth, then close it.

He’s still got that grin - not mocking, just deeply, deeply amused.

“That’s cute.”

“What is?”

He grins wide, resting one arm on the back of the couch, eyes sharp and bright, “You trying to make me temporary.”

He pauses, letting the words hang, then his grin curls wider, almost mischievous, “You still wanna keep playing this little game, or should I save us both the trouble and just end it?”

You let out a soft chuckle, shaking your head. “You’re impossible.”

Jameson’s grin widens - the kind that makes you melt without even trying. He reaches out, flicks the phone off, and the red light dies.

For a moment, the quiet is electric. He leans in, close enough that you can feel the warmth of his breath, his green eyes holding your gaze.

“Call it what it is,” he murmurs, voice low and velvety.

Before you can respond, his hand slides gently under your chin, tilting your face up.

Then, just like that, he presses his lips to yours - slow, sure, and lingering, like he’s taking a claim without needing words. When he pulls back, his grin hasn’t faded; if anything, it’s softer now, edged with something almost tender.

“You’re ridiculous,” you murmur, shaking your head—more dazed than annoyed.

Jameson just watches you, “Maybe.”

He leans closer, and this time his voice drops lower, more serious, “But I mean every word.”

Then, with a kiss to the corner of your mouth -

“Next time you press record, try not to pretend I’m anything but endgame.”

Guess who's back watching NBCs Dracula. I still love this show to pieces. It still drives me mad that we didn't get another season.

I think one of my biggest regrets about the 2013 NBC adaptation of Dracula is not knowing what would have happened to the confrontation between Dracula and Van Helsing. While I definitely think that in that version, Dracula would have had a happy ending with Mina and would have destroyed the Dragon Order in some way, as for Van Helsing... the guy literally killed Renfield at the end of the season along with innocent childrens. He became as low as the enemy he was fighting. I definitely think he would have ended up killed by Dracula. But how ? I would have loved to see that.

Inheritance Games Headcanons

(These are all based on the first book and the first book only. I will revise/add to them as I read each book)

• Avery loves the musical Mamma Mia and has made all of the Hawthorne brothers watch it with her (Grayson actually arranged for a live performance of it to be done in the Hawthorne House theatre) • After this occurrence, Avery eventually discovers a love for musical theatre herself and will sometimes go on the stage and just sing bc she can • Grayson is allergic to cats • Libby learned about Xander's love for sweet treats and now bakes him things all of the time • Xander actually finds a love for baking himself, but he treats it more as an experiment that only works half of the time • Nash and Alisa were high school sweethearts (partially just due to their family's close proximity) who broke up bc Alisa has a serious goal to work toward and Nash just... didn't. He didn't want to be chained to the Hawthorne House forever. • While Emily was busy spending time with Jameson and Grayson, Xander and Rebecca always hung out together. They were excluded by the others for being the "babies". • Rebecca never came out to her parents • Grayson is obviously very smart and knows a lot of things. There's no way he wasn't a yapper as a child. He always wanted to share everything he knew bc he thought it was cool. His brothers bullied him for it and called him an annoying know-it-all so he eventually stopped. • Nash, as he got older, probably felt bad for it, and tried to make up for it by asking Grayson about his interests but he was never able to get Grayson to be the way he once was again • At least one of them knows Taekwondo. Idc which one, but one of them does. Probably Grayson and/or Xander • For a long time, Jameson and Grayson would pick the same activities to do on their birthdays. Mostly to compete with each other. Xander did, too, until he realized that whatever bond Jameson and Grayson had, he would never have it with them. • Grayson used to help Xander with his Rube Goldberg machines • Libby has a secret love of fuzzy socks. Avery hates fuzzy socks. • When Avery gets stressed out, she likes to color. • Avery's mom always cut her hair for her, which once resulted in a bowl cut • Because of the games her mom would make up, it took Avery a long time to realize they were just poor. • Avery never really gets used to the idea that she just... has money

he did! dick now as inside jokes about it that Peter taught him and he heard a *lot* about Ned in that time. it's a very limited hamilton though because peter didn't have it exactly memorized
