Went to an Alpaca livestock show today!

There were around a hundred alpacas there and a dozen unique vendors!
It was at the American Royal in Kansas City, Mo
I highly recommend going if you’re in the area this weekend, it’s free no ticket necessary, parking is also free.
I bought some yarn and socks and collected several business cards so I can order more in the future.
There was a spinner and a woman demonstrating Atataledai, a type of Kumihimo “a gathering of threads, Japanese braiding”
These animals are so precious they make the sweetest little noises, it was so fun to watch them line up for judging.

The French Mistake really is as good as you all have said though. I've heard about this episode since I started this show, but I FINALLY got to watch it today and OH. MY. GOSH. "I'm a painted whore." The whole deal with Ruby/Gen. Why is there an alpaca in Jared's yard? Does he actually own one in real life? Why doesn't Dean know the difference between an alpaca and a camel? Why was everyone so adamant about it being weird that Jensen and Jared were talking, did they not really hang out or weren't really friends at that point? We're six seasons in and like my sister said, "They were farting in the Impala in season 1." Why is Misha so left out, it feels like a duo and not a trio, which kinda makes sense because it's like Sam and Dean and Misha, but I feel like it felt like him getting left out of the J2 shenanigans :(
But don't get me started on the background Misha! Him looking at them weird when they run up to him, in character because they ARE the characters, and he just goes along with it. For like five solid minutes. And you can TELL he's putting on the Cas voice, and then just stops lmao. My sister the whole episode said she didn't really know Misha's real voice so it weirded her out, but I was concerned for myself because I just accepted it like second nature. I've seen too many convention videos I guess lmao.
Dean lowering his voice to "play Dean" because "That's how he does it!" as a direct nod to Misha lowering his voice to play Cas. Bobby being named after Bob Singer. Sam looking directly at the camera while Dean does the Cas stare at Misha. The Days of Our Lives reference.
There's DEFINITELY so much more that I'm forgetting and will remember as I scroll through stuff related to the episode on here, but it absolutely IS the episode of all time.

Rev and I went to this yesterday, apparently Portland's first ever "Weirdfest" convention. It was small but really cute! They had a llama or alpaca (or whatever the third thing is that's like those) that actually loved being hugged by people. That IS weird.

(I wrote this on the train coming home on August 26th although I am just getting around to posting it now because time is a weird soup.)
So okay.
****
I haven’t written a personal journal post in a long time but I want to write down EVERYTHING I can remember about my adventure to NYC to see the Critical Role cast so I don’t forget. It was SUCH a moving experience and I’m so glad I went even though I was scared.
So okay my big goal for this year was to finish the first chapter of my C3 prequel fan comic A Long Road Home (southerngothiccomic.com), have a print edition made, and meet Laura and Marisha at a convention so I could give copies of it to them in person. When the CR cast announced they were going to be at Anime NYC this year I figured that was the closest they were probably going to get to me in Virginia. (And getting autographs at NYCC is reportedly like hunting a unicorn so I figured this would be my best chance.)
I was also terrified, and almost talked myself out of it because I was nervous about giving them the comic, even though I already had a badge and it was what I really, really wanted to do. I know the cast loves to see fanart — and also, it has been revealed, reads the fanfic — but it’s also a pretty well-known taboo for a fan to show their fanfic to a creator and a graphic novel is an unholy hybrid of the two. I was also worried that it would seem presumptuous of me to present them with a fanmade prequel graphic novel because there’s almost certainly going to be an official one at some point, and afraid that at best they might politely tell me they couldn’t accept it (for the reasons that comic writers aren’t “allowed” to read fanfic), and at worst they might be kind of annoyed that it exists. Either way I’d be REALLY sad, and in the weeks leading up to the con I worked myself up into an irrational panic about this. Fortunately my friends managed to talk me into not backing out (and spoilers: it turned out okay in the end!) but I was still very scared.
Also I was so focused on the comic stuff that I forgot until after GenCon earlier this month to think of what I wanted to actually have autographed. I decided to get a big print of the chapter one cover from INPRNT, assuming that since I ordered it two weeks in advance with an eta of 5-7 days that would be plenty of time for it to get to me. Well, reader, it was not. (But please do not let me dissuade you from using INPRNT! To their credit when I contacted them and asked if I could upgrade to rush delivery, they expedited it for free. Unfortunately even with rush shipping it just missed me, arriving at my house while I was on the train to NYC.)

Pâté on the train going to see his biological parents. (Laura and Marisha.)
When I saw that it wasn’t going to arrive in time I was starting to panic because there is nowhere near me to have art prints made. It’s a 15 minute drive (past the alpaca farm) just to get to the nearest grocery store. Grasping at straws I was kind of like Should I . . . draw something? On paper?? With real media that I haven’t used in like 10 years??? I only have 3 days!!!
Fortunately my life was saved by @emphaticembroiderer who had the brilliant suggestion of sending my art ahead to a print shop in NYC and picking it up before the convention. There are indeed MANY of those in New York and I managed to find one that was open on Saturdays and able to make my print on short notice. (567 Framing on W 14th street. The owner, Jack Hu, did excellent work and was very kind!) By that point I was frazzled and didn’t want two of the same print so I decided to be self-indulgent and had this one made. Not my showiest piece but it is one of my favorite things I’ve drawn. (This turned out to be the correct decision.) It’s a 6 1/2 hour train ride from here to there (and it got a little delayed along the way) so by the time I got there it was after 5 and the print shop closed at 6:30 so I zoomed over there straight from the train station to pick it up. It turned out BEAUTIFULLY, and the owner was pleased with how happy I was with it and that he’d been able to help.

He enjoys that he is included.
Then I went and checked in to my hotel and that point really just wanted to lie down on a bed but I had plans to take Pâté to see Hadestown on Broadway that night because I wanted to make the most of my trip. (Also it’s important for our scrungly son to receive a cultural education.) In keeping with the theme of the weekend I wore the Laudna-themed sundress I made for GenCon with one of the poppies in my hair. An usher told me they liked my ensemble. :) I had decided to go for a front row mezzanine seat because I didn’t know when I’d ever have this opportunity again and I didn’t want to risk my miniature self being stuck behind a tall person. It was perfect; I could see everything and the performance was AMAZING. Pâté had a very good time too.

The next day was the CR panel and autographs!! I decided to wear my 1950s Laudna cosplay from GenCon. I had some doubts about it when I got there because without the rest of 50s Bells Hells the theme isn’t as clear and outside of a DnD-focused convention the recognizability of a CR character is kind of low, let alone an AU variant on one. But once I found the Critters my Pâté poodle skirt was appreciated. :)

This is Rach @dadrielle, Astoria @astoriacolumnstaircase, Abby @overnighttosunflowers, and me as 50s Hells at GenCon!
And okay I know this said a lot but it’s true, CR fans are the NICEST fandom to be a part of. <3 If you’re ever standing in line for a CR thing by the time you get there you will have new friends. (For comparison the other-fandoms cosplayers I saw at the hotel and on the way to the con didn’t even return my smiles, even though we were all clearly going to the same place.) I fell in with a group of people who were near me in line (including an amazing Owlbearman cosplayer) and we decided to all sit together. The panel was really great. I don’t remember everything that was asked because of everything ELSE that happened later that day but they hinted that Big Things are coming (including multiple live shows!! Please come to Richmond! Or DC! Or at least somewhere on the East Coast!) for the 10th anniversary and Momlan stepped up to the mic during the Q&A segment and revealed that Sam has achieved his childhood dream . . . to become a minotaur. :D
With the mindset of making the most of this trip I had intended to try to get a spot in line to ask a question but I was hesitant about being on camera (even in cosplay) and while I was dithering about it like 50 people got in line. (I was also Suffering by that point because my rockabilly Laudna shoes have like 3 inch heels and after walking from the hotel to the convention center I didn’t have the fortitude to dart over to the line in them.)
My question, which I hope to submit next time there’s a Q&A opportunity, was this: For Marisha. We’ve seen Delilah’s influence manifesting in Laudna’s fashion choices recently. Now that she has the means and the freedom to do so, what kind of clothes would she choose for herself?
(Because I am a little sad that — until a possible post-campaign oneshot — we’ll never get to see a high-level Laudna costume that’s totally of her own design and I’m really eager to know what it would look like! Let her be spooky and free!)
Afterwards the cosplayers were being rounded up for a photo shoot but I was anxious to get a good spot in line for my autograph with Laura at 2pm so I stealthed away with Ken (@elissabrat), a Jester fan I had met in line, who knew where they were and had one with Travis at the same time. When we got there we were told No, go away and come back in an hour and a half, because it was still only 12. So we went to the Artists Alley where we found a girl named Lea whom we had also met in the panel line and collected a few other stray Critters (Ken has a boisterous and inviting personality and importantly, is very tall, preventing the rest of us from getting lost in the crowd) and we wandered around seeking out all the CR fan artists we could find. (There were a lot! It was great. I got some prints.)

by Cait May and Maliveth
Around 1 we decided to go back and see what the line situation was. Before we parted ways I exchanged twitter handles with Lea, who looked at my profile and said “Wait . . . this is you?”
She told me she was a big fan of my comic and looks forward to it every week! and we were both kind of like !!! at each other for a moment. I had never met someone who recognized my art in the wild before. (On ANY other day this would have been the most amazing thing that happened to me, haha.) I was so touched to meet her. <3
I took out the two books I was carrying and explained why I was there and we all got hyped up about it. And it made it feel a little less daunting, to know that there was someone there who understood the quest I was on and how close I was to the end of it.
I was like 5th in line for Laura and since it was still early I got to participate in that bonding experience integral to every con, sitting on the floor in cosplay, with a very good Vex behind me. (Hilariously, even after the dig at them — or maybe unaware of it — in the most recent episode, there were a lot of Funko Pop resellers around us, haha.)

I sent word to Southern Gothic Discord to remember me fondly in case I died here. In fact I'm not entirely sure that I didn't.
It felt like there was a disproportionate amount of fanfare revealing my print because I kept it how it was packed by the printer, wrapped in paper in between two pieces of cardboard so it wouldn’t get bent, so there was this whole ceremony of peeling back the tape, turning under one of the cardboard protectors, unfolding the paper, and turning over the print. But Laura loved it. She made like a happy sob when she saw it (it was really cute) and she looked at it for a long time taking in all the details and said it was beautiful. <3 <3 <3 (No matter how much we love and ship Imogen and Laudna, NO ONE loves them or is shipping them harder than Laura Bailey. She asked if I was going to bring it to Marisha too and was careful picking out a spot so there'd be room for both of their signatures. :))
I told her I was really happy to meet her because I’ve been a fan since BloodRayne (so, um. 20 years) and she said “oh wow, that was OG days!” And she gave me just a really kind look like she understood how much it meant to me to be there.
Then I gave her the comic. You all were right, I was worried about nothing! because she is the sweetest and she loved it. I very nervously pushed it across the table and said it was a comic I had made and wanted to give her. She picked it up and started turning the pages and was surprised when she saw what it was. “Wait, this is a whole novel! You made this?”
I confessed that I had, and she asked how long it had taken, I told her about a year (it was actually longer; in the moment I kind of forgot not how many pages there are in the first chapter but how many weeks are in a year) and she looked just really impressed that I had made it and touched by how much work had gone into it. She said she couldn’t wait to read it and seemed really excited to hear that it’s still going online! (So no pressure on me there if she's keeping up with it now, haha. o.o) And she kept looking between the book and me like she couldn’t believe it.
Then she asked me if I would sign it for her. :')
Somehow I survived long enough to do so! (a little wobbly because my hands were shaking) and someone (I think it was the ticket scanner) made a joke about how I was the first person to give an autograph at a signing, haha. And then she came around the table and gave me a hug. <3 <3 <3
After that my soul was still on the ethereal plane but the rest of me managed to find my way (after a brief wrong turn) to Marisha’s line. (There was a really good Keyleth and Caduceus in line behind me and they kindly noticed and returned the Pâté sticker that fell out of Marisha’s book).
She recognized my cosplay as 1950s Laudna right away! which was very validating after my earlier indecision haha. She loved the Pâté skirt and thought the scissors embroidery on my collar was adorable. She really liked the art too and was kind of like “Awww” about the book like in an “aww it’s an Imogen and Laudna thing” kind of way (she also liked the glass bottle windchimes on the cover and I love that she noticed that detail because Laudna’s penchant for turning things other people have thrown away into arts and crafts is one of my favorite aspects of her character) until she opened it and started looking through it.
Then she said, “Wait, this is actually really good," and she asked me seriously if Liam “Art Dad” knew about it (I said he had liked some of my other art on Twitter but I didn’t know if he knew about the comic) and then she said — still looking at it, more to herself than me — “We’ll have to add it to our art catalogue.” I don’t know exactly what that means (and I don’t want to get my hopes up too high by speculating; I was too !!! in the moment to ask and now I’m going to be wondering) but . . . it sounds . . . exciting??
They also both enjoyed Pâté and his lil sunglasses. :)
I had gone up with the intention of asking my other burning question: How does being cold-blooded affect Laudna in cold climates? If she gets too cold will she enter a state of brumation like a lizard? Will she freeze solid?
But I forgot. And it really wouldn’t have been the right moment. Maybe when I come back with Volume Two. :)

You’re supposed to pay extra to get a quote put on there but they both did it anyway without even asking. I think they must be really pleased when someone brings them something personal that they’ve made to have signed and not something they’re planning to sell.
After that I just kind of floated away from the con even though it was only like 2:30 haha. Nothing else could have happened there that would have equaled or improved upon that experience. Although I did adopt a Tentacle Kitty. The vendor (correctly) guessed “you look like you’d vibe with our spooky collection” so I had to get a new buddy for Pâté. (50s Laudna, still readily identifiable as a witch wherever she goes.) Also I saw a very chill emotional support pomeranian in a backpack.
(On the way back I saw the mark of the Traveler graffiti’d in green on the sidewalk. Truly a blessed day. :P)
Afterwards I just sat on the bed in my hotel room amid the floof of my crinoline wondering what even is my life for the next few hours and being like !!!! at Discord. Then I met up with Abby (whom it was wonderful to see again!! thank you so much for coming to see me) for dinner and had a really lovely time going over the What Just Happened of it all and talking about Imodna over strawberry pancakes. As one does. Perfect ending to an amazing day. <3
It was SUCH an incredible, exhilarating experience, thank you everyone who pushed me into not giving up out of fear. Laura and Marisha are SO nice and gracious in person and it was just so rewarding, after all the work and love and time I’ve put into this comic, to be able to finally bring it to the people who inspired it! And to see it appreciated and admired by them! It was more than I ever could have imagined.
This fandom is the best. My heart is so happy and full of love right now. <3 <3 <3

With Bullets & Arrows, introducing . . .
Head Mod Alpaca & Kitten!
AK has made fandom her home for more than 20 years now and has participated or had a hand in modding everything from events, zines and communities since their teenage years. Their convention floor zine era is well over, but since entering the DC fandom, AK had been head mod of the Superboy Superzine, and has co-headed and formatted the Tim Drake Flip Zine, and is Format mod of the Bruce Wayne Pinup Zine. Having the opportunity of being head mod for a JayRoy zine, which is one of her comfort ships, is an absolute joy. —@profoundalpacakitten [Ao3 | Bsky | Twitter]

I love llamas (and alpacas, and vicuñas) a completely normal amount, which has led to my friends gifting me all kind of llama-related stuff. One friend would basically go ‟llama hunting” over the course of several months, then send me a package full of llama stuff. Name any item and I probably own a llama-related version of it. I completely stopped buying anything with llamas on it a some point because the probability that someone else was going to gift it to me was too high. Still, I share my place with way too many llama plushies. (Shout out to the really big one that a friend gave me at a convention a few years back; it was big enough that it needed its own seat at the restaurant where we went before heading home. Honestly it’s so big it should probably count as my roommate and contribute to my rent.) send ‘♡’ for a pointless fact about the mun.

You lived in a nunnery? Sounds like a story!
Yep!!! So I majored in fiber arts with a minor in environmental sciences and sustainability. As you might be able to guess, this is um. Not exactly a path with a whole lot of opportunities. And outside the classroom, it’s hard to get hands on experience doing both those things. But in the summer of 2020 after I graduated, I ended up stumbling on this place in Indiana run by nuns and attached to a convent. It’s called an eco-justice farm, and in addition to educating the public on closed-cycle systems of farming and donating most produce, they also have sheep and alpacas. Which is amazing because a lot of times sustainable farming doesn’t focus on livestock, especially fiber animals.
Anyways so it’s this farm on a convent and they’ll give you a monthly stipend and a bunch of education in this incredibly niche field year round. You don’t have to be catholic, I sure as fuck am not, it’s just that the folks who own and oversee the farm are nuns. So long story short for like 7 months I lived on a convent learning about closed-system farming in relation to fiber and dye and got a ton of hands on experience.
They were actually really nice and super chill with having a very atheist Jew working on their farm. I would talk with the older sisters that didn’t really get a chance to socialize outside the nunnery, and honestly I really enjoyed our conversations. As long as you do your best to bring peace and kindness to the world and people around you, the path you take to get there is irrelevant, and I honestly wasn’t expecting that kind of ideology from them, but I guess I was just working on my own experiences and notions about the religion in general. I still am atheist (I’m actually a member of the satanic temple but that’s a different thing) but in addition to my farm education, I interacted with a lot of beliefs and religions I hadn’t before and I think it was a genuinely great experience to have (the convent had like, monthly potlucks with one of the only mosques in the state and I met a bunch of folks. It was nice).

It was very pretty, one of the barn cats Cat Stevens would frequently break into my room to snuggle, alpacas are adorable and so fucking mean, and also zucchini bread is delicious.
#my posts#the wildest thing is that it’s also the first time that people have used they/them for me#like I accidentally mentioned it and everyone was like ‘Oh do you want us to use that for you?’ and they did#was NOT expecting the 80 year old nun to use my preferred pronouns but it was a weird place in general so in hindsight I’m not surprised

Sleepover time at NRC!!!! What did each Night Raven College Housewarden have as a favourite stuffed toy when they were little?
Oh! A fun question! I'm looking forward to answering this because I really love stuffed toys in general. I'm also going to limit myself to stuffed animals because I feel other stuffed items (such as food or plants) should be a separate list.
NRC Housewarden's favourite stuffed animal when they were children
Riddle: Rabbit
Yeah, I know not an original choice considering: A) It's an obvious Alice in Wonderland reference B) Riddle is pretty much a proxy of Ciel and we see Ciel with rabbits in Kuroshitsuji and C) They seem to be more of Deuce's thing (based on what I know of the event running on the JP server). But I don't care. I absolutely love stuffed rabbits. For Riddle I'm thinking of the JellyCat ones, which are an absolute delight, come in multiple colours + patterns, and are super soft.
Riddle's rabbit is either a soft grey or a nice charcoal black. Not white because his mother said white is "hard to clean" and not any fun colours because she believes "those aren't accurate". What a sad, boring lady :/
Leona: Hippo
I picked this because while Leona's stuffie is Absolutely Effing Adorable, Leona would take great glee in telling other children that "hippos are actually very dangerous animals and they can and will murder you in seconds" just to watch their conceptions of hippos forever be shattered. The power of media fooling us VS the cruel hard facts of reality.
This impact may be slightly lessened by the sheer adorableness of his stuffed hippo, but I think the hippo facts Leona spent two days memorizing just to terrorize his younger cousins + other kids (who are all annoying according to him) outweighs this fact.
Azul: Jellyfish + Two stuffed eels
Okay, hear me out. Before Azul met Jade and Floyd he loved his stuffed jellyfish (named Jelly) because it was shimmery like a pearl and under the right light it would reflect many different colours. Then, he met Jade and Floyd who were instantly jealous of Jelly but knew they couldn't just Get Rid of Jelly less Azul be mad. So, they made him (poorly) two stuffed eels that represented them. Azul teased them about it but he also still has those eels so...
Kalim: Alpaca
You know those ones... the ones you see at anime conventions? The ones in multiple colours and sometimes come with accessories? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I think they're so cute and they can be rather large, which makes them perfect for hugging. Kalim also 100% named all his stuffed animals and when getting into fights with Jamil he'd say things like:
Kalim: Sir Eliot the III wouldn't treat me like this! He says you're being mean!
Kalim, holding the Alpaca and changing his voice, moving it along as if it's speaking: Yeah, Jamil! You're being mean!
Jamil: He's a stuffed alpaca. He's not saying those things!
Kalim: "He" has a name! Use it properly!
Vil: The Classic (TM) Teddy Bear
You know the one I'm talking about. I'm talking about an adorable brown bear that has the cutest features ever + a red bow as an accessory. I bet Vil loved changing the bows on his bear frequently and had a small collection of ribbons dedicated to his bear.
Idia: Pokemon. Multiple of them.
Yes, I am making the assumption Pokemon exists in Twisted Wonderland. Look me in the eyes and tell me Idia didn't want every single Pokemon plush out there, regardless of size or generation. He wanted them all and collected his favourites. I won't say which are his favourite because I think that's a rocky road + I haven't kept up with all the newer generations. What I do think is as an adult Idia still has Pokemon plushies and has a giant Snorlax and Spheal in his room.
Idia also calls his Pokemon by nickname so he could be asking Ortho to grab him "Eggy Boi" and it's like his stuffed Chansey.
Malleus: A stuffed bird (like a very chonky, very round one)
I'm imagining a very spherical, hefty boi that has adorable wings, beak, tail, eyes, and is so round it's almost like a ball. I think the bird has to be light in colour, like a nice pastel yellow-green, and is very huggable and squishy. Malleus just strikes me as someone who likes birds and thus this giant bird stuffie is so big he could lie on it like an oversized cushion.
And there you have it! I hope you like my picks! Please let me know which ones you'd pick for the Housewardens and maybe next time we can talk other stuffed items! Or do one of the Vice Housewardens!

I used to go to conventions with friends and tbh I think the one time I had any actual fun at one was the time there was a llama and alpaca convention next door and we all went to that instead.

@nobodysdaydreams The end of the school year is getting to me, but here are my notes on Chapter 25 of S.O.S.
(Sorry it's kind of short)
Chapter 25!!! Milestone!!! I want to bake you a cake :)
“He glanced at Number Two. / “Sorry, I’m having feelings,” she admitted.”
I love her
VERY interested in seeing how you write the Two family…
And poor Nicholas trying to stay in-character and also trying to be nice
One! He’s such a weirdo guy /pos
JACKSON AND JILLSON!!!!
Poor Erika ajsdfjfdk. She’s not paid enough for this.
“You have absconded with a mastermind?” Is also a very hilarious line. It always gets me
I’ll never get over the Two family’s naming conventions. How did that get into the final script, I feel like someone hastily scribbled down possible names and then they just got automatically approved adsjfdjk
Oohhhhh
I love Reynie and Miss Perumal’s conversation about Curtain. It’s so good. I love it every time, and you’ve done so phenomenally with it
“Nathaniel was sensitive to [being betrayed]” I MEAN YEAH, FAIR. But also have you considered he’s a bit of a lunatic???
“once again allowing his brother to indulge the honor of calling him by his old name, though it held no meaning anymore” You liar
Oh my word, he’s such a guy. His whole mental hoops and rigamarole to make sense of his own thoughts are really… something
I love the little sibling bickering interaction where Nicholas is like “We are in a SECRET location” and then Curtain’s just like “I know exactly where you are” and he go D:
As always, it is fantastically enhanced by your writing
NICHOLAS USING NATHANIEL’S TRICKS AGAINST HIM
Oooooohh, Number Two time
One is so oblivious. Why is he so very unhelpful? C’mon, buddy, help your sister
It’s really interesting how much Curtain is convinced that Nicholas will always be there to beat him. At least for me, that’s very much a sibling thing. You fight and you get mad and sometimes you feel like you hate each other, but you do that because you always believe that they will be there for you and love you in the end
“any chance that Nicholas- that Nicky- could still hear him” OH OKAY WE’RE GOING THERE THEN
OH DEAR AND HE’S THINKING ABOUT PEDALIAN TOO
Man, This guy just has so much guilt eating him up. Years and years of it :(
And once again the narration switching from calling him “Curtain”/”Ledroptha Curtain” and then going back to Nathaniel
“He didn’t have the luxury of feeling” Oh boy this man needs more hugs
I love how Nicholas apologises for the blowdart. It’s so sincere and kind, because most people would forget about it. The audience kind of forgets about it. But here he is, admitting that he’s sorry
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
CURTAIN REDEMPTION
AKJFHDSJHDKJDJSD WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU WROTE IT SO GOOD
SCREAMING
I’M GIVING YOU A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS
(Which, unfortunately, you don’t seem to have any vases for…)
Erika!!
“She might not agree with her mother but, they were family. And they stood up for each other.”
ASKJFBKJDFJDF YEAH
I’m making snowflakes out of all the paper towels in your house
Ohh nooo. Here comes the Jackson and Jillson part.
I feel so bad for them…
And, to a lesser extent, poor Jeepers
AND HE PROMISES TO FIX THINGS. EVEN WHEN NICHOLAS ISN’T IN THE ROOM. HOH YEAH I AM LOVING HOW YOU WRITE REDEEMED NATHANIEL BODS.
I really like his perspective on the kids’ comments adsjafsd
“Unconventional, but true” should be their catchphrase at this point, honestly /j
Constance perspective!!! So happy, so excited about this
Oh. Nathaniel wants to be hugged too. He wants to be included in the family.
And he took the Worldview Wash so politely! He’s getting better at this stuff :D
Madame Chops and the alpaca. The true main characters of S.O.S. /j /silly
NOOOOOOO
He’s all on his own again :(
This is like the fifth time, Bods. Just let the man have his family back! /j /s
THE ALPACA
Curtain and Nicholas both bribe people aakdjfjkas It’s a family trait
WHAT
S C R E A M I NG
Help???? FIre alarms??? SOMETHING???
Ooh, he said “please”
Rhonda being like "You can come in. I'm not saying anyone will like it. But you can come in"
AND THE END!!!! WE ARE OFFICIALLY IN SEASON 3 TERRITORY MY FRIENDS!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Bods, you are truly spectacular. Just. One of the most amazing people I've ever had the privilege to read the writing of. I hope you're doing well. I'm gnawing off all your doorknobs. Have a super day <3
#s.o.s.#WHOOO#SO excited#Very very tired right now#But super happy for you and all your amazingness Bods

thank you !
prompt
1. Art programs you have but don’t use
I technically have clip studio paint and fire alpaca on my old computer, but I don't even use that computer anymore so should this count as an answer ? yea
9. What are your file name conventions
I don't name my files :-(
TO BE FAIR, procreate is just an app on my ipad, so the photos just get saved there. But When I do save photos on my computer or on a drive, it's usually CHARACTERNAME_YEAR_[insert number]
23. Do you use different layer modes
multiply and add layers for shading and highlighting are used for 80% of my drawings. I used to be big on overlay, but now that I'm thinking about it, I haven't used it in a while... where'd it go...

Happy Friday, friends! I’ve got a little try-on haul for you today—just a mix of pieces I tried before our Florida trip but never got around to posting. It’s a bit of everything: early spring staples, vacation styles, and a few in-between season finds. It’s a long one, so let’s dive in! As usual, I will provide measurements and fabric content on each item when I can find it, and I’ll share whether I plan to keep it or not. Just remember, even when I decide not to keep something, it doesn’t mean it isn’t worth checking out. I just may not need it, or it may not work for my body type or lifestyle. SIZING NOTES: I’m 5’5″ and I usually wear a small or medium in tops and dresses, a 29 or 30 in jeans and pants, and a size 8 shoe. Gifted items are indicated by c/o; everything else I purchased myself. J.Crew Alpaca-blend oversized sweater T-shirt in Black at J.Crew (size M) // MOTHER Dazzler Flood Fray (29) // Vionic Klara (8) DETAILS: This oversized style is crafted in an alpaca-blend yarn that’s woven a bit looser for an airy, subtly sheer finish. Dressed up or down, it’s one of our favorite layering pieces this spring. Relaxed fit. Body length: 21 1/4″. Sleeve length: 17″. Hits at hip. 50% polyamide/35% alpaca/15% wool. Hand wash. I may have gone a little overboard ordering neutral short-sleeve sweaters… This is another one I picked up while thinking ahead to my England trip (which is now less than a month away!) I liked the idea of a basic black short-sleeve sweater, but this one felt a little too plain, and I don’t care for the longer short sleeves and super relaxed fit. Plus, alpaca content makes it pricier, while also not as soft as some of the others I’ve tried. VERDICT: I sent this one back. P.S. These MOTHER jeans are on sale! I love this pair for a mid-wash straight ankle fit. (I’m linking to the same pair, though they look lighter online for some reason.) Gap Factory Open-Stitch Collared Sweater Tank at Gap Factory (M) // High Rise Soft Vintage Slim Jeans (29) // Sam Edelman Bambi (8) DETAILS: Straight, easy fit. Hits at the hip. Soft cotton knit. Spread collar, V-neck. Ribbed hem. Fabric: 100% Cotton Conventional. Care: Machine wash. This ribbed sweater tank is right on trend with the textured knit, collared neckline, and split detail. It’s a nice way to elevate a basic jeans outfit. It runs a little small—this is a medium, and it just fits. VERDICT: I decided to keep this one, but I didn’t end up bringing it to Florida, and it’s still pretty chilly here in Philly, so I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet. ATM School Boy Stripe Tee at Shopbop (M) // Citizens Palma; also at Nordstrom & Bloomies (29) // P448 Monza (39) DETAILS: A waist length ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo tee with a relaxed fit, detailed with a chic and classic stripe motif. Crew neck and short sleeves Striped pattern Fabric: Lightweight jersey Shell: 100% cotton Wash cold I discovered this tee (and the jeans) during a Shopbop sale. I was on the hunt for some striped layering tees and decided to try this one because I’ve loved some ATM tees in the past. The fabric and construction are excellent, and the boxy shape is very on trend, but it feels a little too masculine on me, especially in the stripes. VERDICT: I sent this one back. Frank & Eileen Silvio Untuckable Button-Up Shirt at Frank & Eileen (S) // Derry Pull-On jeans // Vionic Klara (8) DETAILS: Silvio fuses modern Italian tailoring with California cool. The unique, fashion-forward detailing—an exaggerated back pleat, oversized envelope pocket, and petite square fit—means all the styling is done for you. Curved shirttail hem Shaped like a petite square with center back pleat Oversized envelope pocket Signature bust flattering button placement and long sleeves with button cuffs Superluxe, 100% Italian Cotton Turn this garment inside out, machine wash on cold, and tumble dry on low. Iron or press to maintain crisp fabric. Since I’ve been loving the shorter button-ups lately, I ordered this Frank & Eileen version in plain white, thinking it might be a good closet basic. (It definitely needs a good steam, sorry about that!) The quality is great, and I do appreciate Frank & Eileen’s bust-friendly button placement—but I just didn’t love it on me. VERDICT: This one also went back. Athleta Endless High Rise Pant at Athletha (6) // Athleta Essential Tee (S) // Paul Green Hadley (8) DETAILS: Refined, subtly textured, and perfectly stretchy pants that are perfect for commuting, work, and travel. Semi-fitted, skims easily over the body Sits at the natural waist Straight leg fits slim through the leg then eases up below the knee Inseam: Regular 27 1/2″, Petite 25 1/2″, Tall 30 1/2″ 86% Recycled Polyester/14% Spandex Machine wash and line dry. If you’re thinking these look familiar—you’re right! I originally ordered the size 8 in these popular travel pants but ended up exchanging them for a 6. The smaller size definitely fits better. They’re a bit snug in the waist, but not uncomfortably so, and I like that they’re less baggy through the legs. That said, there’s something about the length and silhouette that just doesn’t work for me. I don’t see myself reaching for them unless I’m flying, and if I’m buying black pants for travel, I want them to work for sightseeing too. Bottom line: I just don’t feel like me in these. VERDICT: As you may already know, I did end up finding the perfect travel pants for me, so I returned these. Keep reading! Athleta Brooklyn Mid Rise Ankle Pant in Black at Athleta (6) // Essential Slub Tee (M) // FRANKIE4 Riley (8.5) DETAILS: Our stretch fabric pants with a rib knit waistband and easy-access pockets are perfect for everything from your workday commute to weekend travels. Semi-fitted, skims easily over the body with a mid-rise waistband Mid rise, sits below the natural waist Fits slim through the leg and eases up below the calf Order your usual size for a close-to-body fit, or size up for a slightly relaxed fit Inseam: Regular/Plus: 27.5″ Petite: 25.5″ Tall: 30.5″ 86% Recycled Polyester/14% Elastane Machine wash and dry. This is the other pair of ankle-length travel pants from Athleta I was considering, also in a smaller size. They have a sportier vibe, with the split hem and contrasting side panels, and I do like the slightly lower rise. But once again, I just don’t love the silhouette on me—it’s not the most flattering, and I don’t see myself reaching for them. VERDICT: These also went back, but a lot of ladies love them, and they’re currently on sale if you’re interested in trying them! Athleta Brooklyn Heights High Rise Cargo Pant in Aspen Olive at Athleta (6) // Athleta Getaway Tank (M) // Paul Green Hadley (8) DETAILS: Relaxed with room to move High rise, sits at the natural waist Straight leg fits slim through the leg then eases up below the knee Inseam: Regular: 30.5″ Petite: 28.5″ Tall: 33.5″ Plus: 29.5″ 86% Recycled Polyester/14% Spandex Machine wash and dry. When I spotted this full-length version of the Brooklyn pants, it was love at first sight. They’re made from the same amazingly lightweight, breathable fabric—but I feel so much more like me in this pair. The fit is super flattering, and they’re easy to style with both boxy and fitted tees or tanks. Plus, they’re incredibly comfortable. Fit tip: They do run a bit big, like the others, so you may want to size down if you’re in between. They’re also on sale right now, so I grabbed a second pair in black! VERDICT: Totally love these! I wore them almost daily in Florida—and they were perfect for the plane too. Athleta Getaway Linen Blend Muscle Tank at Athleta (M) // Brooklyn Cargo Pants (6) // Paul Green Hadley (8) DETAILS: Breezy linen meets flowy TENCEL™ in this easy-to-live-in blend, this sleeveless cropped top skims easily over the body. Body length: 21 5/8” 55% Linen/45% TENCEL™ Modal Machine wash cold and tumble dry on low. I ordered several of Athleta’s tees and tanks to pair with whatever travel pants I ended up keeping—and this one is winner winner chicken dinner! I love the short, boxy fit, and the linen/modal fabric is lightweight and breathable—perfect for hot weather. Fit Tip: I sized up to the medium in this one. It also layers easily under my Pranayama Wrap or a denim jacket, which makes it super versatile. VERDICT: Kept it, wore it! Athleta Essential Tee in Fog Grey Heather at Athleta (S) // Endless Pant (6) // Paul Green Hadley (8) DETAILS: Perfect for workday commutes and weekend travels, the always-soft SUPIMA® stretch cotton is tee is lightweight and durable with bounce-back resilience. Body length: Petite 21 5/8″, Regular 22 5/8″, Tall 23 5/8″, Plus/2X 25 1/4″ 90% SUPIMA® Cotton/10% Spandex Machine wash cold and tumble dry on low. This is another top I’d heard good things about and ordered to wear with travel pants for super casual days. I like the fit and the seam detail down the back, but I wasn’t a fan of the fabric—it felt a little stiffer than I’d like. VERDICT: I didn’t keep this one. Athleta Essential Slub Tee in Bright White Slub at Athleta (M) // Endless High Rise Pant (6) // FRANKIE4 Riley (8.5) DETAILS: This everyday essential tee made of lightweight, breathable fabric is perfect for travel, vacation, or exploring your town or city! Semi-fitted, skims easily over the body High hip, sits at the high hip Crew neck 100% Cotton Machine wash and dry. This is the same top in a 100% cotton slub fabric, which has more of that linen look I like—but it’s very sheer. VERDICT: I’m undecided on this one. I also ordered the v-neck, which I did not photograph, but I like that one better, I think. Z Supply Elin Stripe Rib Tank in Stripe Black at Z Supply (M) // Brooklyn Cargo Pants (6) // Paul Green Hadley (8) DETAILS: Classic with a twist, this fitted rib tank features a timeless yarn-dyed stripe and a flattering scoop neckline. Made from a comfy cotton-modal blend, it’s bra-friendly, versatile, and perfect for layering or wearing solo. Cotton Modal Rib: 50% Cotton, 49% Modal, 1% Spandex Length from Shoulder: 22 1/2″ Machine Wash Cold, Gentle Cycle, Hang to Dry As you probably already know, I love this tank! I wore it traveling to and from Florida with the Brooklyn cargo pants (as pictured here), and also paired it with my favorite white shorts while we were there. It has such a flattering fit, and I really like the shorter length—it looks great without needing to be tucked. VERDICT: Kept it, love it! FRANKIE4 Riley in White/Leopard at FRANKIE4 (8.5) // Athleta Brooklyn (6) DETAILS: Take your sneaker collection to the next level with Riley in striking White/Leopard. A statement platform sole defines Riley—exaggerated yet sleek design made for high rotation wear. Riley features lightweight construction, an innovative support and cushion system, and laces made from recycled cotton. An elastic gusset enables them to be worn with or without laces. A luxe leather finish and eye-catching accents elevate this essential platform sneaker style. Triple layer support & cushion system crafted to help prevent and alleviate common foot pain symptoms. Podiatrist-designed dual-density moulded sneaker soles, free of steel shanks and heavy materials. Slip-resistant sole that meets and/or exceeds the slip resistance test Elastic gusset: wear with or without laces I first heard about these FRANKIE4 sneakers in a travel group, and when I saw they were podiatrist-designed with adjustable heel, arch, and forefoot support, I had to give them a try! I especially love this colorway—the black and metallic side stripe with the animal print tab on the back is such a fun combo. Style tip: When I wear black pants or jeans with white sneakers, I like when there are black accents to tie the look together. Plain white sneakers can feel a little stark—especially now, when colorful and detailed sneakers are more current. Unfortunately, I didn’t love how these felt on. They run large, felt a bit heavy and stiff, and slipped off my heel when walking. That said, I like the concept and the supportive design, so I’ve ordered a few lower-profile styles from FRANKIE4 to try instead. VERDICT: Returned these, but I’m still hopeful about the brand—stay tuned! PAIGE Nellie Cropped Jeans in Crisp White at Bloomingdale’s and Anthro (30) // Sanctuary tee (M) // Veronica Beard slides (8) DETAILS: Born and raised in Los Angeles, lifestyle brand PAIGE has crafted timeless wardrobe staples since 2004. Meticulously constructed, each wear-tested piece displays a dedication to the smallest details. Designed to be lived in season after season – and kept forever. High rise: 10.75″ Cropped inseam: 26.5″ Leg opening: 19.5″ 92% cotton/6% elastomultiester/2% elastane Machine wash This pair of jeans isn’t new to me, but my old size 29s were starting to feel snug, so I grabbed the 30 when they went on sale at Bloomingdale’s. (They’re currently part of Bloomies’ TAKE UP TO 30% OFF promo.) I like the fabric composition—these almost read more like pants than jeans, which gives them a more elevated look and feel. The crop wide-leg fit isn’t too voluminous, and I think they’re fairly flattering for this style. The 30 is definitely more comfortable than my 29s, so I’m tempted to keep them—but I’m holding off for now and keeping the tags on. Bloomies has a generous 6-month return policy, so I have some time to decide. VERDICT: On the fence, but leaning toward keep. We’ll see if I reach for them! Sanctuary Perfect Remix Tee in Black at Bloomingdale’s, Amazon & Sanctuary (M) // PAIGE Nellie (30) // Veronica Beard Via (8) DETAILS: Give your everyday T-shirt style a boost in the cozy Sanctuary™ Perfect Tee Remix. Front Length: 24″ Short sleeves with rolled cuffs 51% Cotton 49% Rayon Jersey Slub Knit Machine Wash Cold, Lay Flat to Dry Sanctuary has so many great “beyond basic” tees this season. By that I mean, classic styles with a few thoughtful details that make them feel a little more special. (I have the West Side Tee in white.) This one is another great option, and it comes in lots of colors. It’s also included in Bloomies’ TAKE UP TO 30% OFF promo right now. I really like the cotton/rayon fabric, the rolled cuffs, and the shape of the sleeves. Style Tip: Sleeves with an angled cut like this tend to be more flattering—they visually slim the arm, especially when they hit right at the bust line, like this one does. VERDICT: All that said, I have a lot of black tops right now, and I didn’t love this one enough to keep it. Splendid Lousia Crewneck Tank in Lilac Rose at Bloomies and Nordstrom (M) // PAIGE Nellie (30) // Veronica Beard Via (8) DETAILS: The abbreviated length of this all-cotton tank enhances its fun, boxy silhouette and gives your casual looks a clean, relaxed attitude. 21″ length Crewneck 100% cotton Machine wash, tumble dry Splendid is another brand I love for high-quality tees and tanks, and this crewneck tank caught my eye—mainly for the gorgeous color, but also for the slub texture and flattering fit it seemed to have on the Nordstrom website. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite translate in person. The 21″ length feels longer than expected, and the armholes are cut in quite a bit, so it takes some finagling to avoid bra show-through. VERDICT: I sent this one back. I just didn’t love it. LOFT Striped Harbor Tank Top at LOFT (M) // MOTHER Weekender (30) // Reformation sandals (8) DETAILS: In heavier-weight 100% cotton slub: the tank top just got an all-year-round upgrade. Crew neck. Sleeveless. 24″ long 100% Cotton Machine Washable So many striped tops, so little time… I had it in my head that I wanted a beige and white stripe tee or tank to wear under my beige jackets with white jeans for a light monochrome look—but this one missed the mark by quite a bit. It’s thick, too long, too high in the neck, and the fit around the armholes is off. VERDICT: Needless to say, it went back. White + Warren Cashmere Striped Crewneck in Natural/Saddle Brown at White + Warren (M) // MOTHER Dazzler (29) // Margaux The Demi in Saddle (39) DETAILS: We reimagined our classic cashmere crewneck with a slightly relaxed fit that’s light, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish. Hitting at the hip, this versatile sweater pairs easily with everything from jeans to skirts. The timeless two-tone striped pattern adds an extra touch of classic charm. Relaxed fit. Long sleeve. Length in size small is 21 1/2″. 100% Cashmere. Dry clean only. I was influenced by Meghan to order this sweater. It’s definitely a splurge, but I’ve only ever heard good things about this brand, and I used her code to get a discount. I really love this light neutral colorway—it’s a classic I know I’ll have for years. The quality is incredible (as it should be at this price point), and the fit is practically perfect in every way. From the contrast ribbed details at the neck, cuffs, and hem to the perfect 22″ length, the subtle shoulder seaming, and the relaxed (but not too boxy) fit—it’s all just so well done. And it feels amazing on. VERDICT: Keeping. I’ve already worn it once, and I plan to bring it to London next month—assuming the weather stays as chilly as it’s been! Caslon Stripe Pima Cotton Sweater in Tan-Ivory Emily Stripe on sale at Nordstrom (S) // Risen jeans (29) // Gola Torpedo (8.5) DETAILS: Add some cheer to sweater season in a chunky-stitch option turned out in happy stripe and crafted from premium pima cotton. 100% pima cotton Machine wash, dry flat This is a really good alternative to the White + Warren cashmere stripe crewneck. It’s made from 100% pima cotton, so it’s lighter and will carry you further into spring—and it’s way more affordable. I really like this one too! In fact, if it had arrived before I wore the White + Warren, I may have just kept this instead. I love how the contrast stitching at the neck, cuffs, and hem is done in beige, and you know how much I love a raglan sleeve! The fit is great—not boxy or overly relaxed, but not too fitted either. VERDICT: I’m not sure I need both, but this is a solid option if you want the look for less. Risen High Rise Step Hem Jeans in Dark Wash at Social Threads (29) // Caslon striped sweater (S) // Gola Torpedo (8.5) DETAILS: High rise relaxed straight leg jeans with distressed step hem. Inseam: 28 in. Rise: 10.5 in. 73% Cotton 25% Polyester 2% Spandex Turn inside out, machine wash cold. In an attempt to feature more denim under $100, I ordered this pair from the popular Risen brand. So many women I know love them, but they never seem to work quite right on me. The back view isn’t bad, but I didn’t love how they looked from the front, and the raw hemline is a little too distressed for my personal style. The denim is also fairly heavy and not as comfortable as I had anticipated. VERDICT: These weren’t a win for me, but they’re fully stocked if you want to give them a try! (Inventory at Social Threads tends to go quickly, so if you like this style, don’t wait around.) AllSaints Anna Crewneck Cotton T-Shirt in Chalk at AllSaints, Nordstrom & Bloomingdale’s (M) // MOTHER Insider (29) // Gola Viper (7.5) DETAILS: An easy piece, this is the Anna T-Shirt. Crafted from soft organic cotton, it’s shaped to a regular silhouette. Featuring turned-up cuffs and our AllSaints signature on the back of the neck. We keep this staple on rotation all year round – make it part of your collection. Crewneck Short sleeves 100% cotton Dry clean Made in Portugal I ordered this AllSaints tee in the name of blog research… I definitely don’t need another plain white tee, but I’ve been asked to update my white T-shirt review post for the season, and this one seemed worth a try. I love the abbreviated cuff sleeves, and the length is just right with an on-trend boxy fit. My only complaint is the neckline—it’s a very high crewneck. It’s also quite sheer, but that’s part of the look. Just a heads-up, since I know a lot of ladies prefer more coverage. VERDICT: I’m undecided on this one. I also ordered the V-neck version to compare… Anna V Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt at AllSaints, Nordstrom & Bloomingdale’s (M) // MOTHER Insider (29) // Gola Viper (7.5) DETAILS: An easy piece – this is the Anna T-Shirt. Crafted from soft organic cotton, it’s shaped to a classic silhouette, featuring turned-up cuffs and our AllSaints signature on the back of the neck. We keep this staple on rotation all year round – make it part of your collection. 24″ length (size Medium) V-neck Cap sleeves 100% cotton Machine wash, line dry Made in Portugal This is the V-neck version, and it’s somehow even more sheer! As you can see, I’m wearing a black bra—which is kind of “a look” these days—but I probably wouldn’t wear it out that way. I need to try it with a tan bra and see if I like it better. That said, I love everything else about this tee—the cut, the fit, the sleeves, the V-neck, the length. Gah, I just wish it weren’t quite so sheer. I also snapped a pic of the back to show the subtle AllSaints logo print—just a fun little detail that makes it feel more elevated than your basic tee. VERDICT: TBD… it’s almost perfect, but the sheerness might be a dealbreaker. Talbots Fresh Poplin Jacket in Corn Silk at Talbots (size 8) // AllSaints Anna Crewneck (M) // MOTHER Insider (29) // Gola Viper 7.5 DETAILS: Channel utility-inspired style with our crisp cotton poplin jacket. Detailed with crest buttons. Crafted with button flap front pockets for your everyday essentials. Length: Misses: 21″; Petite: 20 1/2″; Plus: 23 1/2″ 96% Cotton, 4% Spandex; Lining: 100% Cotton Care: Machine Wash Cold; Line Dry This jacket needs more elevated styling—I wouldn’t wear it with these jeans—but it’s a nice option if you’re looking for workwear. Butter yellow is trending in a big way this spring, and this piece definitely taps into that. I found the fabric a little stiff, and the silver buttons are very shiny, but it fits well in the size 8. I think it could be a great choice for women who need polished pieces for the office. VERDICT: Not for me, but a solid workwear option if this color’s on your radar. GIBSON LOOK The Favorite Luxe V-Neck T-Shirt in Heather Grey at Nordstrom (S) // MOTHER Insider (29) // Gola Viper (7.5) DETAILS: Relaxed weekend style is the name of the game with this closet-staple T-shirt featuring a classic V-neck and cap sleeves. 23 1/2″ length V-neck Cap sleeves Side slits 92% rayon, 8% spandex Hand wash, dry flat This tee is made from a really soft rayon/spandex blend, and it has such a nice drape. The split hem is slightly longer in the back, which feels a little dated to me—but also kind of a nice detail, so… take that for what it’s worth! I really like the cap sleeves, too—they’re flattering and add just a little something extra. VERDICT: I’m a bit undecided on this one. I have the FRAME Le Mid Rise V-neck in a very similar shade of grey, and I feel like I’d always reach for that instead—but this is a great alternative for less. Z Supply Ines Striped Crochet Sweater Top in Sea Salt at Z Supply (size M) // MOTHER Insider (29) // Gola Viper (7.5) DETAILS: Breezy and effortless, this sleeveless crochet knit top features an airy open weave and yarn-dyed stripes for a vintage-inspired feel. A must-have layering piece, it pairs perfectly with everything from high-rise denim to flowy skirts. Sweater Knit: 80% Cotton 20% Nylon Hand Wash Cold, Reshape and Lay Flat To Dry I’m just a girl, standing in front of a striped tee, wishing it looked better on me… Name that movie! 😄 This crochet knit top has a great texture and an easy, relaxed fit. I really wanted to love it, but something about the way it falls just doesn’t quite flatter my middle. Maybe it’s the cut, maybe it’s the drape—but it’s not quite working for me. VERDICT: Still on the fence, but probably going back. Sanctuary The Perfect Tee in Pumice Stone/Black Stripe at Zappos (M) // MOTHER Insider (29) // Gola Viper (7.5) DETAILS: Ideal for everyday wear, the Sanctuary® Perfect T-Shirt is crafted from a soft knit fabrication with an edgy-cool print. 55% cotton, 45% rayon. Machine wash cold and lay flat to dry. Yes, another striped tee… I might have a problem. 😅 This one caught my eye because of the finer stripe pattern and the contrasting trim at the neckline. The cotton/rayon fabric is lovely—thin but not sheer, with a nice drape. That said, I just didn’t love it on me. The neckline is quite high, and I think I would’ve liked it better with more of a scoop or ballet neck. VERDICT: Sent it back. Close, but not quite right for me—and let’s be honest, I’m definitely not lacking in stripe tops! Stay In Touch If you liked this post, be sure you’re signed up for my email newsletter.
