i did some math and as it turns out there's a total of 10296 combinations (which is like. a lot). you mentioned earlier that you'd probably just keep making the combos indefinitely until you finish... but that sounds like it'll take a while since there's just SO MANY. do you think you could make some sort of masterpost to keep track of all of the classpect combos? i just keep looking at them and there's so many and it's hard to keep track of all of them, so it'd be nice if there was some easier way to find all of them
oh!!! oh my thats!! that's a lot!! what have I gotten myself into!!! this is DEFINITELY going to take a while, honestly I might graduate hs before I finish :,) So yeah, a masterpost is a great idea!
two main issues though:
I. am so new to tumblr. I have no clue how to make an effective masterpost
the sheer amount of classpect combos and how frequently I add to that seems like way too much to track on a tumblr post!
So! I made something a little different: a masterdoc! it was the best thing I could come up with that's convenient and easy to update. It's basically a glorified checklist, but hey, it gets the job done!
Here's the link!!
#if anyone knows a better platform to use PLEASE LMK#this is just what made the most sense to my brain#if you want to just mindlessly scroll through them tho#homestuck combined classes#< i use that tag for all the combos#also if u see any spelling errors on the doc...#no u didnt <3#questions

Some writing advice for fic writers:
First, I write. I know how hard it is, BUT there’s a limit to my patience with some things.
1. Don’t write Racist undertones (i.e. “Her skin was as pale as the moon. She was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen.”). STOP STOP STOP STOP.
2. AVOID BASIC SPELLING ERRORS (I’m not talking about non-native English speakers. Their errors tend to be grammatical and I never judge them because they’re doing their best.) I have a genuine question for people who’s fics contain these. WHAT ARE YOU USING TO WRITE YOUR GODDAMN WORK?
Word, Google docs, Grammarly. They’re all free and will catch basic spelling errors for you. You don’t even need a beta right away.
3. Don’t make your Paragraphs too long. Go read a book. How long are the paragraphs? Where are the breaks? When I have a question about novel formatting a lot of times I just grab the nearest one and see how it was formatted.
4. Don’t Use descriptors instead of names. (i.e. ‘the brunette’ or the egregious ‘pinkette’) I’m definitely guilty of this one in my early stuff, but readers HATE it. And I’ve found that my writing flows better without them, anyway.
5. Don’t write characters with mental/physical disabilities unless you’ve actually researched them. And I’m not talking about looking up the symptoms. Go find accounts of people with those disabilities explaining them. It’s always best to hear from someone who has actually experienced what your character will experience.
I even research my own disabilities because my characters have a different environment than I do which could affect whatever they’re experiencing. I swear I have seen some of the most ableist bs in fics just because someone clearly has no idea what they were talking about.
6. DONT WRITE YOUR WHOLE FIC IN LOWERCASE WTF.
7. Basic writing stuff:
“Spoken dialogue should be in quotes,” I said.
Remember, EVERYTHING, including punctuation, should be within the quotation marks.
An inner monologue should be italicized, I thought.
This creates a clear distinction between dialogue and thoughts.
There should always be a space after a period. (i.e. ._They)
The first letter in a sentence is capitalized.
The first letter of a name (i.e. Saara) is capitalized.
The first letter of any proper noun (i.e. Names, Places, Days of the week, Institutions, etc.) is capitalized.
An apostrophe ‘s’ indicates possession (i.e. Saara’s blog)
8. Their, there, and they’re.
Their is possessive (i.e. It was their bike).
There is either ‘a place that is not here’ (i.e. I need to go there).
Or
There can be a pronoun meaning ‘it is the case that’ (i.e. There is no question that he did it)
They’re is just a combination of ‘they are’ (i.e. They’re going to eat)
9. Two, too, to
Two is the number two (i.e. #2)
Too means ‘also’ or ‘in addition to’ (i.e. You can’t go alone, so I’m going too)
To can be used with an infinitive verb, like ‘to sleep’ (i.e. I’m going to sleep in my room). It can also be used as a preposition that means ‘toward’ (i.e. I’m going to the store).
10. Your vs. you’re
Your is possessive (i.e. it’s your phone).
You’re is a combination of ‘you are’ (i.e. You’re going to do it).
Specifics for Japanese media:
1. Do not use honorifics if you don’t know how they work. You can google which ones are appropriate in which situations, but if you don’t want to, you’re better off not writing them in.
2. Don’t use romaji without double checking the spelling. Something might sound different than it’s actually spelled. I do not speak Japanese but even I have seen SO many basic spelling errors where the author was writing by ear.
3. Learn a character’s first name. When you’re writing from their POV, it’s weird to refer to them by their last name. Also pay attention to how other characters refer to them in canon. What honorifics do their teachers use vs. their classmates? Do they use their given name, surname, or a nickname? Stuff like that.
Anywho, go off with your writing and lemme know if u have questions!

day o3 - mouse
what i gotta do to be with you?
tumblr month: @marichatmay links: ao3 | ff.net
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT: im here marinette ฅ(•ω•^ฅ)
MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG: how did you get that user… you know what? not even going to question it
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT: guess i cat you by surprise? :>
MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG: im starting to regret asking you for help,,
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT: no WAIT i’ll prove it that i’ll be helpful!! furgive me?
Marinette looked up from her laptop, almost wanting to smack herself in the head. What had possessed her to think that asking Chat Noir, of all people, for help with her essay, was a good idea?
She sighed, running a tired hand down her face. It wasn’t on purpose.
———
Chat Noir had dropped by her room yesterday (during patrol: she had to berate him for doing that later; as Ladybug, of course), only to find the girl stressfully going through a ton of workbooks and worksheets.
“Marinette?” He called, only to be loudly shushed by the girl before him.
“NOT THE TIME, CHAT.” She stated, only sparing him a glance before quickly going back to the task at hand.
Curious (and apparently not having heard of the idiom: curiosity kills the cat), Chat Noir simply walked over to her, looking at the mess of papers and books on her desk, noticing one in particular: a French-to-Chinese dictionary. “What are you doing?”
Pinching her nose in irritation, Marinette looked up at him. “I took up a Mandarin class,” she finally responded. “We just had our first class today, and our professor already gave us an assignment: to create an essay introducing ourselves!” She cried, hands flying upward in stress. “I don’t know any Chinese! And it’s due by the end of the week!”
Chat Noir looked sympathetic, knowing exactly which professor she had: he had the same one before, and though their teaching was extremely effective (he picked up the language rather quickly), it was just as difficult and taxing to survive the first few weeks.
He also knew that the paper wasn’t graded: though he clearly couldn’t tell her that (not without revealing his identity, at least).
So, he decided on the next best thing.
“Let me help you, then.” Chat Noir replied, ignoring Marinette’s dubious look— and before she could protest, he easily grabbed a pen, then started writing on one of the blank papers.
Marinette looked at him blankly as soon as he finished, seemingly victorious.
“See?” He asked.
“See what?”
“... what I wrote.”
“Is that… hello?”
“It’s your name.”
“...”
“...”
“Please help me out.”
“Of course.”
———
After that, they decided that it would be better to work online: since Chat Noir had his superhero duties (duties which, unfortunately, didn’t include teaching civilians Mandarin), and it was clear to the two that him helping with his civilian identity wasn’t a possibility either.
Instead, Marinette created a Google Docs file, and gave him the link so he could help out from home.
They had been working on the paper for almost three hours now, and though she hated to admit it, Chat Noir was extremely helpful. He was very patient with her, answering all the questions she had; only giving the occasional comment on grammatical or spelling errors.
It would have been perfect, if not for the surge of puns that flooded their Google Docs chat history.
However, they had gotten into a working groove, and she did manage to finish her paper, which she was extremely grateful for.
MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG: thanks for helping me out, chat.
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT: anytime <3 … wait i have a picture to send you
MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG: am i going to regret looking at it
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT purrobably. but you love me anyway. ;)
Suddenly, she saw the photo sent:
It was the Google Docs file the two were working on, but he had crudely encircled the middle portion, where his computer mouse was hovering her own stationary one.
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT what if… we held hands…. in ur google docs assignment….. :o
Against her own will, Marinette felt a laugh escape her throat. That was… terrible? Corny? Cute?
Did she just think Chat Noir was cute?
She was grateful to him for helping out (both as Marinette and as Ladybug). She knew how busy he always was; and she liked that he could keep a cool and positive demeanor throughout it all.
Ladybug couldn’t imagine saving Paris without Chat Noir.
And Marinette couldn’t imagine her days without Chat Noir’s regular balcony visits.
In fact, the hero had become her best friend, both in her superhero persona and outside of it.
But recently, she had found herself… wanting more, as it was.
Marinette breathed in deeply, then smiled, finally set on her reply:
MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG: only holding hands through the internet? kinda jealous of my computer mouse right now :\\
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT whsdkfsjs??!?@ WHAT
MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG i just think we both need a breath of fresh air after all that work :D up for a midnight walk, kitty? i can hold your hand if you get scared. :>
ANONYMOUS NYAN CAT FMDFSD,MLDS;AF’]] HELL YES I AM ON MY WAY RIGHT NOW SEE YOU SOON !!! <33333333

Handshake error - client socket not working correctly
This is what we want it to look like (image source: https://socket.io/docs/v4/how-it-works/) :
I have described this issue in more detail in a forum post on the Glitch forum, source: https://support.glitch.com/t/socket-io-user-establishes-two-connections-and-not-sure-how-to-include-socket-io-client/52319?u=balto
I’m building a multiplayer game using Node.js, Express, socket.io and p5.js. Please bear with me if I am adding irrelevant info to my queries and let me know if I am leaving out any useful info
Here is a link to the current version: https://fuzzy-troubled-pheasant.glitch.me/ 2 (Remix link on the page, limiting number of links as I am new :))
I can get the multiple clients to communicate with the server and draw multiple users on my p5 canvas, but I kept getting 400 error.
I think this means that I have not set up the client side correctly, but the program was still working as I expected it too so it must be communicating somehow…? The “400” errors were resolved by also adding ‘polling’ to transports:
transports: [‘websocket’,‘polling’],
Now I am getting “200” status codes instead, like on Socket.IO tutorials. Is this because it was always communicating using ‘polling’ and now I have “okayed” that type of communication?
But now, whenever a user connects two connections are made. Ciccen (I’ve gone with old-timey spelling for types of birds, not sure why) is the active user and ‘Them’ is the placeholder username I am setting for all connections:
NOPE I WAS WRONG THEM IS STILL BEING CREATED1098×1936 202 KB
I thought maybe Them was the result of an open browser window, but that second connection alsways disconnects at the same time as the active user.
My questions are:
Can you see why two connections are being created?
How do I include socket.io-client correctly?
I have included socket.io-client in my package.json file but am not sure if I also need to call it in my module script.js. I have tried using the ES6 format as described on Socket.IO site (have commented out this line in the linked version so the app works):
import { io } from “socket.io-client”;
But then I get the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: Error resolving module specifier “socket.io-client”. Relative module specifiers must start with “./”, “…/” or “/”.
And if I change it to:
import { io } from “./socket.io-client”;
Then I get this error:
Loading module from “https://fuzzy-troubled-pheasant.glitch.me/socket.io-client” was blocked because of a disallowed MIME type (“text/html”).

Authors note: I’m sorry this took so long. I have been doing so much stuff for school and it was actually nice to get away from that and do something I love. I will be editing my prompts list maybe this week and there will be another one-shot coming out this week. So I will try to link the prompts list but it wasn't working last time so please tell me if it doesn't work on mobile. And I will tag those who want to see the posts first. I’m sorry for any spelling errors Tumblr says one thing and google docs says another. Requests are also open at the moment.

“I can’t believe this is how you want to spend your birthday,” Y/n sighed as she followed her friends into the cozy bar.
“Hey, I don’t know why you disagree. I mean, think about it, you or I could maybe meet our true love,” Y/b/f/n singed as the group waltzed up to the bar.
“Yeah, Y/b/f/n is right and it’s also a time to relax and let loose,” Y/f/n stated as she hopped onto the barstool in front of her.
“Whatever, just order some drinks,” Y/n waved her hand as she sat next to her friends.
Over the next few hours, Y/n barely touched the drink the bartender slide towards her. There was no real reason to get wasted and someone had to take the other two girls home. Y/b/f/n was defiantly wrong when she said that either of them would meet their white night. The only type of knight that would be met at that bar was the drunk kind. That was until Y/n looked across the bar.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“You shouldn’t do it, Fred,” Ron exclaimed sternly to his older brother who sat beside him at the bar.
“Don’t listen to him, Fred. Nobody’s watching and the whole lot of them are all too drunk to care,” George waved away Ron’s plead.
“Oi, I will never understand these muggles and their taste in beverages,” Fred complained as he pulled his wand out of his coat pocket.
“I can’t believe I’m related to you two,” Ron exclaimed as he turned away from his older brother. All while Fred turned his beer into something just a little stronger.
“See, Ron! It’s that easy and no one sa-,” Fred stopped as he looked across the bar to see a pale-faced girl staring at him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“We sh-should go get tattoos. It’ll be fun,” Y/b/f/n giggled, fully intoxicated.
“Um, how about I take that glass,” Y/n insisted as she reached for the glass her best friend was holding like a lifeline.
“No, no, no. My birthday, I can drink as much as I like,” with that Y/b/f/n turned back to her previous conversation. Seeing how she had lost that battle, Y/n turned back to her Arnold Palmer. As she did so, Y/n’s e/c eyes wandered around the bar. Her eyes went over the couples and friends that sat along the oak surface. They were all there for different reasons. Some to celebrate, some to mourn, some just to waste time. Her eyes stopped when they came upon a group of redheads.
Y/n watched the boy farthest from her pull out a piece of wood from his pocket. The piece was in the shape of a wand, much like the one she had seen many times as a child. What she saw next would take the cake for the weird shit she had ever seen. She saw the redhead mutter something while he pointed the stick at his drink. Right before her eyes, the dark brown liquid turned into a sparkling golden one. All she could do was stare, that was until she locked eyes with the boy.
“U, I’m going to g-go get some fresh air,” Y/n stuttered before slipping off the barstool and running towards the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fred watched as the girl with h/c rushed out of the bar. He would be in so much trouble if anyone found out someone saw what he just did. Before she was out the door Fred was off his stool and racing after her without a word to his brothers. As he slipped past the wooden door he was met by the cold spring air and the shining night stars. As he looked around he saw the girl standing by the curb staring up at the beautiful night sky.
“Hey, um, Miss. About what you saw back there, I-I can explain,” Fred cautioned.
The girl turned around to met the tall boy, fear no longer in her eyes but a smile plastered on her face. “It’s Y/n. Y/l/n,” she reached out her hand for Fred to shake.
“I’m sorry if I spooked you in any way. I-I really don’t know where to start,” Fred blushed and rubbed the back of his neck.
“Um, well,” Y/n blushed as well, “ I really don’t need you to explain. I know it sounds weird but I can explain,” she motioned with her hands while letting out a small laugh, “You may think this is crazy but I know what you are. You know a wizard,” Y/n laughed and Fred couldn’t help but laugh along with her.
“How do you know?” he questioned once her words finally set.
“Well my great-grandfather was a wizard and so were the rest of his family. and I guess it ended there. He used to tell stories of wizarding schools and magical beasts. No one believed him, they all thought it was old age getting to his mind. But the phots and cloaks andtextbookss proved the tales were real. And I guess he never told my great-grandmother about what he was,” Y/n finished.
“Oh. wow.”
“Yeah.”
“So I didn’t scare you.”
“Wel,l I was just a little shocked. I’ve never seen someone use reall magic like that before.”
“Ah.”
“Yeah,” Y/n sighed.
“Well, how about I buy you a drink as a sorry for spooking you. Maybe a wizard drink,” Fred smiled at the beautiful h/c head.
“I would love that,” Y/n singed, blushing a little.
The rest of the night Y/n spent at the bar chatting with Fred and his brothers, all while keeping an eye on her friends. Before she took her two drunk friends home, Fred proposed they go on a date later that week.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
“So this girl is a muggle,” Molly inquired.
“Yes mum,” Fred shrugged.
“Well from what you say, she sounds really nice,” Ginny commented as she walked out of the kitchen.
“Oh yeah she is really nice because that’s all he ever talks about,” George exclaimed as he glared at his brother from across the table, “ We can’t get much work done at the shop because he can’ stop talking about her. It’s like he’s in love or something.”
Molly reached over from the sink to smack her son, “And who said there was anything wrong with being in love.”
Fred blushed from hi mother’s words. He, before then, couldn’t place the feelings he had for the girl he’d come to know. If he were to describe it, it would end up being love.
“You know, I’d like to meet Y/n. Why don’t you invite her over for supper this weekend?,” Molly suggested.
“Oh yeah, that sounds great,” Ginny cheered.
“You girls and your romance,” George groaned as her left the table and started for the stairs.
“I think I’ll do just that,” Fred answered as he followed his twin up the stairs. Fred knew that his family would love Y/n just about as much as he did.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I hope you like this. I had fun writing it and I love Fred and George so this was really fun. I really hope this is close to what you wanted. Thanks for the request.
Schema Markup: What is It and How Does it Help?
What if you could put an SEO road sign on every page of your site that told Google and search engines exactly what a given page was about?
You can with Schema Code (aka Schema Markup).
Summary: Schema can help with rankings, and it gets you more clicks from users.
What is Schema Markup?
While the easy metaphor to understand is a road sign, here is a more technical definition:
Schema is a type of structured data (microdata) that makes it easier for search engines to parse and interpret the information on your web pages more effectively so they can serve relevant results to users based on search queries.
Schema.org is the result of collaboration between Google, Bing, Yandex, and Yahoo! to help you provide the information their search engines need to understand your content and provide the best search results possible at this time. Adding Schema markup to your HTML improves the way your page displays in SERPs by enhancing the rich snippets that are displayed beneath the page title. (Source)
There isn’t a single website that can’t benefit from including schema and it isn’t too difficult to do. (Or just leave it to us!)
How Does Schema Code Help Search Engines?
As search engines crawl your page, they read the content on the page. Recently the search engines have become smart enough to read a page and see the semantic relevance of terms on a page. They can see the word laser coupled with Jedi to assume the page is about Star Wars or the word laser coupled with veins to assume the page is about vein laser treatment.
But there is still a high degree of guessing the search engine must do. Schema is a way to clarify to the search engine the topic of the page along with other relevant data. It’s a bit of code language that spells things out clearly.
Where Do You Use Schema Code?
Schema can be inserted into the header code of any page, where the search engines see it but your viewers do not. You can use schema site-wide or, better yet, tailor the schema for each page on your site.
Of course, you want the schema markup to match what is real content of the page to get maximum credit. It won’t help your search engine optimization or rankings to write a page about ice cream but put schema in the header saying the page is about dogs (unless you sell ice cream to dogs, then by all means, do so.)
Schema Code Examples
Here is a sample of schema code that tells the site about a simple webpage topic.
Here is a local business schema code that tells Google and other search engines:
1. It’s a Local Business. 2. Here is the address of the local business. 3. Here is what the local business does (medical/oncology). 4. Here is the phone number of the business. 5. Here are the office hours of the business. 6. The map longitude and latitude of the business. 6. The other properties related to the business (in this case their Facebook page).
These road signs mean Google doesn’t have to guess about the page. The structured data code clearly tells Google what it needs to know.
What Difference Does Schema Make?
This clarity of page intent may help increase your ranking and your website traffic.
Keyword Performance writes:
Well-executed Schema markup can mean the difference between good SEO and great SEO, edging out the competition and bringing organic traffic up. Schema markup not only organizes the information on your site, making it easier for search engines to understand the content and giving a slight ranking boost but also catches the eye and makes SERP results more attractive to humans as well.
In this example, two of these search results used a review schema which provides the star rating they gave the product in the listing – one ad result and one organic result. Two didn’t use schema. Users will click the organic schema listing (with stars included) up to 40% more often.
A Google Search Engine employee and search expert recently reported on how using Schema can help match your page to a long or confusing entry by a searcher who doesn’t clearly indicate their intent:
“But sometimes we can recognize entities better if you markup entities on a page. Which is kind of a more flexible type thing where if someone gives a really long query to us and we recognize, Oh, they’re asking us about this entity and not using exactly those words and we know this other page is also about this entity, maybe doesn’t use exactly the same words, that we can still match. That helps us to try to find more relevant results together.” (Source)
Be in the Minority
Here’s a helpful and hopeful tip. Use schema because most of your competitors aren’t. A recent audit by SearchEngineLand.com shows that only 20-40% of pages use schema properly. That creates huge room for you to use schema as part of your SEO strategy when your competitors aren’t.
What are the Different Types of Schema?
There are tons of things you can indicate with schema, from an event time, to review ratings, to a product or service type, and a ton of other items. See a full list of everything you can label with schema at http://schema.org/docs/full.html. That’s a huge list.
Schema Generators and Testers
There are tools that can help you generate schema and add it to your site, or, of course, we can do it for you along with the rest of your SEO.
One great tool is https://technicalseo.com/seo-tools/schema-markup-generator/.
You want to make sure that you are careful when creating the code. You can do more damage than good if your schema code has errors.
Once you get the code inserted into the header of your page, you can check to make sure Google sees it properly without error at https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/. There you can either enter the code itself to test it before you insert it OR check a given page you’ve already inserted the code into to make sure Google can read it properly.
