Ghostbusters Frozen Empire: Lab Crew Headcannons!!

First individual characters headcannons (most based on ghostbusters tubmlr rp lore and also my au), and then ill do the character dynamics and relationships!

Possessor:

Uses they/them and it/its pronouns (very very rarely he/him)

The most chaotic mf you’ll ever meet. If it was a human they’d have adhd times 1000.

Possesses things like dolls and stuff, sometimes cause its fun for them to have a ‘body’ so to speak, and sometimes because being a creepyass doll to scare Lars and Lucky is really fun for it. 

Loves tennis and tennis balls, but doesnt like badminton. Doesnt go fast enough for them.

Likes possessing and inserting themselves into videogames, like mario and platformers. Also minecraft.

A little bit of a gen z or gen alpha ipad kid. Likes meme songs because playing them drives the lab staff nuts. 

A little touch starved. On the rare occasion that its finally calmed down and staying still, its probably cuddling with one of the other ghosts in the lab, or Lars or Lucky (or Sparkplug).

Bonesy: 

Genderfluid he/him she/her they/them and any neos the crew can think up.

very calm despite how fricking creepy they look. 

Happy to cuddle with possessor and the others, they aren't the most comfortable pillow, but the ghosts dont care.

Isnt technically a ghost, he’s an old god who is no longer worshipped. The crew and living staff only figured that out when he started doing weird shit like changing the weather on command. 

Is kinda quiet. Likes hiding in the shadows and reading and stuff. Probably visits Eleanor (the library ghost) in the library often.

Her favorite living lab crew member is Podcast, even though he's technically not staff, because they were a god of chaos and Podcast is the most chaotic.

Likes playing video games like animal crossing and stardew valley, but also indie horror games like Chilla’s Art stuff. 

Pukey:

Little ray of sunshine when he isnt vomiting ectoplasm on stuff.

Doesnt roll around everywhere because it hurts his head. Or i guess his body since he’s mostly head.

Peter surprisingly really gets along with him for some reason. When Peter visits the lab, Pukey is most likely next to him.

It doesnt hurt when he throws up, it just kinda happens to him as a defence mechanism. 

Has tried to eat the weirdest stuff because “i’d just throw up again anyways!”. List includes baking soda + vinegar, coke + mentos, oranges and mint things (like toothpaste), and any other stuff people tell him not to eat. Also cleaners/chemicals. Fabuloso and tide pods are his favorites.

Believes in santa. 

Likes salty stuff, has drank soy sauce.

Mini Pufts:

Just like Possessor- these guys need some ritalin or something. Or melatonin. Just get them to calm down please the lab staff are begging you-

They are pretty much smaller, cuter versions of the gremlins. Chaotic and potentially dangerous, but distract them enough or contain them and they’ll be fine.

They are also like middle school aged boys- one or two of them are fine on their own, but in large groups they are very obnoxious. (this is coming from a middle school aged child btw lmao)

In the rp universe the reason they deleted their blog is they simply got really bored with it- they all have fairly short attention spans, the staff were surprised they kept the blog up that long.  

Also kinda ipad kids, they will sit still if you show them cocomelon. (Lucky has taken to showing them better kids shows though, like Bluey and Octonauts, and Magic Schoolbus).

Are no longer controlled by/ connected to Gozer and no one knows how or why (Gozer is secretly terrified of these mfs btw)

Bonus: Slimer and Muncher:

Are the oldest, other than Bonesy, and don't ‘live’/stay at the lab, so they come to visit and the younger ghosts think of them as their fun uncles. They both accept that position immediatly.

Muncher has bitten equipment when Lars pissed him off once. 

Slimer and Muncher sometimes sneak the other ghosts out of the lab to go watch movies, like little field trips. They all think Lars doesn't know, but Slimer has secretly been telling him just so he’s aware and for safety reasons an’ stuff. 

Lucky almost stuck Muncher in a containment cell once when she first met him again after Oklahoma.

Relationships with each other and the ghostbusters headcannons!: 

Slimer and Muncher are dating because i said so. 

None of the lab crew are dating, they’re a found family

Trevor shows them his favorite indie horror and stupid “made in 24 hours and basd on a meme” games he plays. The favorites have been Chilla’s Art stuff, and KinitoPET, and hes getting them interested in Mouthwashing and Happys Humble Burger Farm.

Phoebe showed Bonesy ACNH and Stardew Valley

Podcast totally shows the ghosts his podcast episodes to make sure they’re accurate and good to listen to before he posts them.

The og ghostbusters get along with all of the lab crew to varying degrees, but the one they get along with best is Bonesy (and Slimer but thats for another headcannons post lol)

Bonesy is the mom/parent friend

Possessor is the annoying child friend

Pukey is the “juct chillin” friend (most of the time cough cough tidepods *cough cough*)

The mini pufts are the “annoying cousin at the family gathering” kinda friend (very “you have games on your phone??” coded. Iconic imo.)

Like i said, Slimer and Muncher are the Fun Uncles, but they are also the “straightmen” of the group. (even though they are not straight lmao)

my experience getting/having a septum piercing!

(detailed journal under the cut, overview at the top)

TLDR: my experience was good, but that's because i planned and dedicated time to it. if you're in a situation where you'd need to hide it, make sure you get the piercing at least a week before you would need to flip it under. anything less and it's going to hurt like hell (although it'll still hurt a lot after a week)

general tips: 1) clean it at least once a day for a while. stuff builds up, especially in winter. i'd honestly recommend not getting it right before winter like i did, cause cold metal is not great. 2) try not to mess with it during the day, but make sure to move it around when you clean it, otherwise the healing skin will stick to the jewelry. 3) get a color/style you can live with for a few months. 4) don't flip it back and forth too much. 5) don't blow your nose aggressively or you might pass out from the pain. 6) dont wear face makeup to get your piercing done. touching your nose is gonna hurt like hell afterwards, so removing makeup won't be fun. 7) don't get a septum piercing as your first piercing. i've had two piercings in each ear, so i've had experience with the pain. if you flinch on an ear piercing, it's not as big of a deal cause those are so fast, but this one is NOT. major flinching is really bad here.

i've put a detailed log with dates under the cut. tw for descriptions of blood (obviously) but nothing major.

also, if you have any specific follow up questions, feel free to message or send an ask! i can't necessarily give you a perfect answer, but i can tell you what worked for me :)

(disclaimer: i wrote these on the days they are marked. i have not deleted or added anything, these were my thoughts and experiences as they happened. this does not represent everyone's experience, just mine, and is meant to be used as a reference to anyone wanting more information about this experience)

day 0 (11/11)

- got it done at a tattoo shop, they used a new/sterile needle and disinfected the area or something with something that smelled like iodine. it wasn't as fast as an ear piercing but it was honestly less painful.

- lots of initial bleeding (normal for me and head wounds in general), they nicked the outside of one nostril but that's probably because of my nose shape, lots of eye watering (also normal for me)

- cleaning it sucked, used the stuff they gave me (neilmed piercing aftercare mist) and qtips. moving the piercing was the worst part (it was slightly off center so i had to move it a bit), hurt so bad. did not appear to bleed further, however.

- nose area around piercing (nostrils, tip of nose) is extremely tender. putting on moisturizer was painful. glad i was not wearing full face makeup that i would have had to take off

- still too scared to blow my nose. i have a congestion headache.

day 1 (11/12)

- itchy. so itchy.

- currently biggest challenge is cleaning it. the area is so fragile and hurts so bad if you mess up how cleaning is done.

- also, allergies suck. i can't blow my nose. why.

- no bleeding tho, and nothing concerning

day 2 (11/13)

- cleaning is better, but i did figure out i was doing it wrong so that might be why moving the actual jewelry hurt so much. (the piercing was a lot further forward than i thought it was, so i was kinda just cleaning the middle of my nose. i wasn't cleaning where the hole is, so the scab area was just dry when i tried to move it, which is so so bad)

- area around it is much much less tender. no sudden contact though still.

- moving the jewelry hurts like a bitch

day 7 (11/18)

- substantial improvement over the last few days. no longer hurts to move the jewelry or touch my nose. only hurts if excessive force (i.e. getting punched in the nose)

day 9 (11/20)

- flipped it under (to hide it) for the first time. had to look up youtube videos for people with my nose shape cause i was doing it wrong but other than that it was very smooth and painless.

- now i just feel like i need to sneeze, but no pain.

about three weeks post-piercing

- we've kinda leveled out. no more major pain, now i'm able to flip it under in an emergency (without a mirror, without prep, etc)

- i got super sick and had a runny nose and it did fine the whole time.

- highly recommend flipping it under if you're having to blow your nose a lot, otherwise it snags and snot gets caught in it and i don't like it

two months (mid january)

- it is extremely cold where i am (hanging at about 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit) and this is making my skin so so dry.

- basically the piercing wound has cracked open a bit. it hurts a lot. i'm now drinking lots of water and running a humidifier/diffuser, but there's only so much that can do.

three months (mid february)

- just took out the jewelry, cleaned, and replaced for the first time!! it went really smoothly, no pain, no blood, but i did go slowly.

- make sure not to do it over a sink or the pieces could get lost. also, for the horseshoe i have, the little ball is kinda tricky to get back in, but if you take your time it'll work.

- i'm at the point where i feel like it is substantially healed, barring a major snag or other injury. i'm probably going to change out the jewelry soon once i get a new piece, and im very excited for that!!

Anyone else have this surreal thing where when you almost asleep but you are awake but more asleep than awake and the mind wandering goes into hypermode but with images?

often dark or bizarre things ,but weirdly, scary things seem relativley uncommon at least for me.

but some time recently.

this happened

i especially like the way th sharpening nothing. i cant figure out how to draw the way his hand looked like he was sharpening something but with a obviously empty hand. i havent used pencil sharpener in a long time and the image from the near sleep experience is not very fresh in my mind.

bro had both hands out like there should have been something like a invisible pencil. my memory is dropping the randomest skills. feel like i would have been able to edit it to look like that before

also the desk the hanako was in slowly slid away like a glitch in a video game or something. for those who dont know , hanako is the one that looks like the psychopath that sharpened nothing with the pencil sharpener but with different clothes

not sure if the thing was sleep deprivation psychosis or just similar enough that i cant tell if it is or not. i think sleep deprivation psychosis is more of an awake thing than a almost-asleep-insanity thing. but anyway last scary thing i saw during a sleep deprivation psychosis was a unsettlingly realistic blue giant person during some sleep deprivation psychosis but i quickly fought it off by mentally converting it to christianity its friendly now.

below (this post is getting too long) is something that happened during another recent sleep deprivation psychosis. (not a picture tho)

somehow i become shadow from my favorite anime. i was just like "oh cool thats awesome this is my life now i like shadow"

but then i got scared. what if being shadow meant i couldnt go to heaven.

but sleep deprivation psychosis me, still had enough reason to be like "the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy and randomly somehow becoming shadow is not blaspehy so im ok and can enjoy being the comfort character"

but in another direction, reason was turned off enough that i fully believed i was awake and had actully become shadow it was actually fun.

fun enough to actually relieve enough stress to get actually really good sleep for the first time in probably years which meant the sleep deprivation psychosis went away really fast :(

i wanna be shadow again. clear sign i need a break from reality when my break from reality cures something that according to a google search would usually take a while longer to go away especially with my lenght of sleep deprivation.

its cool that i go right to the christianity thing when im scared and delusional. because i was kinda nervous about wether my faith is real. pretty sure thats a sign that it is. the autism 'unable to tell how im feeling' has no power over the simple, yet honest thoughts of the awake sleeper who has limits on the amount of concepts they are aware of. or something. idk really how to describe it. like somehow i know i was having awareness of my true feelings. not sure if thats something i understand and yet thats what it felt like

When he’s jealous: Gunil becomes clingy when he’s jealous. You guys were out strolling through a market when you happened to run into an old guy friend of yours. Naturally the two of you began talking to catch up a bit. Usually Gunil is very secure in your relationship, but something about the way you two talk like you saw each other yesterday makes his stomach turn. Your friend playfully hitting your shoulder didn’t help either. He doesn’t want to be rude though, so instead he warps one arm around you pulling you into his side. Instinctively you leaned into his hold and grabbed his hand. That only alone made Gunil feel better.

“This is my boyfriend Gunil,” you introduced him. Now he feels one hundred percent reassured. Still even after you finished your conversation he doesn’t want to let you go. “Are you ok?” You asked.

“Yeah I don’t know I just felt sorta jealous back there,” he mumbled, holding you tighter.

“You’re the only I want Gunil,” you consoled him, pressing a tender kiss to his cheek. Gunil smiles, but still doesn’t let go. “Wanna go home and cuddle?” You suggest. Gunil immediately brightens up and couldn’t get you two home fast enough.

When you’re jealous: You trusted Gunil and you knew he would never do anything to break that trust. In spite of that you can’t help but feel jealous as he’s having a very friendly conversation with the makeup artist, who’s currently touching up his makeup. You don’t like feeling this way. The second Gunil done getting his makeup touched up you’re making your way to his side.

“What were you talking about? You looked really excited while talking to them,” you tried to sound natural, but you don’t know if it worked. 

“Stray kids' new music video they dropped. The makeup artist is a stay too,” he explained. Now you feel even more silly. “Why?” Gunil followed. 

“I was jealous,” you told him honestly, looking down at your feet feeling embarrassed.

“Aww you have nothing to feel jealous about. I only love you,” Gunil tells you, swaddling you in his embrace and leaving a loving kiss on your forehead. 

Jungsu

When he’s jealous:Jungsu would sulk silently when he’s jealous. It was his day off and he was happy that he could spend it with you, but you were preoccupied with talking on the phone with one of your friends. Jungsu sat down next to you on the couch, hoping that it would gain your attention. A pout adorns his face when it doesn't work. He sits there for a few minutes longer accidently bumping his leg against yours every so often. He decided it was time for drastic measures. He repositioned himself so that he was now laying on his back with his head in your lap. That seemed to do the trick, since you finally looked down at him. You took note of his sulky expression.

“I got to go, I'll talk to you another time y/f/n,” you hung up the phone. 

“Finally,” Jungsu whined.

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to ignore you,” you cascaded your fingers through his hair. “I’ll give you all my attention for the rest of the day,” you told him.

“I was beginning to feel like you cared about talking to your friend more. It made me jealous,” Jungsu admits, leaning into your touch.

“I’m sorry I just haven’t talked to them in a while, but I’m all yours now,” you say. That was enough to make Jungsu happy again.

When you’re jealous: The two of you were on the bus, on your way back from a date. A girl commented about how they also were a fan of the band that was on the Jungsu’s shirt. They then both naturally started talking about the band which was fine. What wasn’t fine was when the girl became a bit flirty. Was Jungsu really just gonna let her flirt with him? You leaned your head on Jungsu's shoulder, hoping that he would get the hint. 

“I actually saw them with my girlfriend here,” he stated, wrapping an arm around you. You greeted the girl with a fake polite smile, wishing she would stop talking. Thankfully she did, turning away from the both of you.

“You got jealous right?” Jungsu teased you.

“Shut up,” you replied mulishly.

“No one else could ever compare,” Jungsu reassures you, leaning down to press a kiss to the crown of your head. 

Gaon/Jiseok

When he’s jealous:Jiseok will quickly take matters into his own hands when jealous. You both were out on a date. He briefly left you to go to the bathroom only to return to you talking to some guy. He observed the both of you for a moment before deciding he didn’t like the way he was looking at you. He knew that look because that’s how he used to look at you prior to the two of you getting together. Comes in hot, encasing you in a back hug, landing a kiss on your temple and is quick to follow up with.

“Who’s this babe?” He questions innocently, but his eyes were shooting daggers that you couldn’t see due to him being behind you.

“He’s a colleague from work, well ex-colleague technically since he got transferred a few months ago,” you explained.

“Nice to meet you,” Jiseok said, but it came out passive aggressive. Let’s say your colleague was quick to leave after that.

“Jealous much?” you mocked him, turning around in his hold.

“It’s not my fault he looked at you the way I looked at you when I was crushing on you,” Jiseok grumbled.

“Ah it’s ok, I only have eyes for you,” you soothed him. Jiseok will still keep you attached to his side, so everyone knows you're taken.

When you’re jealous: Don’t be jealous, this man won’t let you breathe about it. 

“I can’t believe you got jealous over such a small thing. They were just talking to me,” Jiseok made fun of you.

“I know! I know it was stupid. Can you give it a rest please?” you begged him. He had been teasing you about getting jealous since this morning after you thought the barista was being a little too friendly. 

“But it was cute though. The way you clung to my side,” Jiseok disclosed, coming to squish your cheeks.

“Stop,” you swatted his hands away.

“Oh come on, you know I love you. I can’t imagine my life without you,” he told you, now squashing you in a hug.

“I love you too,” you replied in a monotone voice, but hugged him back. What he won’t tell you is that you being jealous made him feel more secure in your relationship because it made him feel wanted.

O.de/Seungmin

When he’s jealous:Seungmin tried to conceal the fact that he’s jealous. He feels a bit pathetic for being jealous, since he knows how much you love him, but when he sees you being close with another guy it makes him feel a bit insecure. He knows having an idol boyfriend isn’t ideal, so when he sees you close with another guy he can’t help but feel like they could be a better boyfriend than him. Give you the time that you deserve. 

“Hey are you alright? You seem a bit out of it since earlier,” you questioned Seungmin.

“It’s stupid, but seeing you with your guy friend made me a bit jealous,” Seungmin admits. 

“That’s not stupid,” you inform him. “Why did it make you jealous though?” You prompted.

“Seeing you close with him made me feel like he would be a better boyfriend for you than I am,” he stated.

“That’s not true Seungmin. You’re the best boyfriend that I could ever ask for,” you told him, grabbing both of his hands. You rubbed your thumbs soothing on the back of his hands.

“Really?” He asks doubtful. 

“Yes really. You’re the best and I love you so much,” you now pulled him into a hug.

“I love you too,” he responded, relaxing in your hold.

When you’re jealous: Seungmin would be so reassuring whenever you got jealous. You overheard some girls gushing about how handsome Seungmin was while you two were out. Usually it wouldn’t bother you, but something about today caused your stomach to feel uneasy. You latched onto Seungmin’s hand holding it tightly. Seungmin was obviously quick to notice your different behavior. 

“You alright?” He asked you. You nodded your head as a reply, but Seungmin didn’t believe you, knowing that something was off. 

“Seriously what’s wrong,” Seungmin questioned, once the two of you were in a secluded area. 

“I don’t know those girls were talking about how handsome you were and it made me feel kinda insecure for some reason,” you revealed.

“Hey, it’s alright, we all feel insecure sometimes. You know I love you very much though. You’re such an important person to me,” Seungmin tells you sincerely.

“I know, thank you,” you expressed your gratitude. 

“Let’s go home and watch a movie,” he suggested, taking your hand firmly in his.

Junhan/Hyeongjun

When he’s jealous: Hyeongjun becomes so quiet when he’s jealous. He’ll overthink things and his mind would become full of doubts. He feels like he’s not good enough for you. You ran into an old classmate and ended up having a quick conversation with him. 

“This is boyfriend Hyeongjun,” you introduced him, while lifting up your linked hands. 

“Ah you’re a lucky guy. Back in school so many boys sought after y/n, but they always rejected them,” they told him. You would think that this would make Hyeongjun feel reassured, but instead it made him wonder what could possibly make him better than all those guys who hit on you.

“Yes, I’m very lucky,” he stated, trying to conceal his inner thoughts. You parted ways with your classmate, but Hyeongjun remained quiet, being too caught up in his own head. 

“What’s wrong Hyeongjun?” you asked him once you two returned home.

“Why are you dating me?” Hyeongjun questions you. His words take you back a bit.

“What do you mean?” You returned with another question, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. 

“Why’d you pick me out of all the dudes that want you?” He further elaborates.

“Because I love you and you respect me. Most of the guys that hit on me were just trash,” you laughed. “You’re the very best one Hyeongjun,” you told him. He still feels a bit insecure, but he feels a lot better now after hearing your words.

When you’re jealous:He finds it cute when you get jealous. They way you try to act like you’re not bothered, but you so clearly are. You’ll stand closer to him than usual and either have your arm linked with his or slip your hand into his own. 

“You know you’re the only one I want right y/n?” He inquires, subtly trying to ease your jealousy. You let out a sigh, know that you’ve been caught.

“I know, but why did they have to be blatantly flirty with you when I’m right here,” you grumbled. Hyeongjun finds it so adorable.

“I know, they were horrible, but you’re the only person I care about flirting with me,” he comforts you.

“I better be,” you stated. Again Hyeonjun finds you to be so cute. Doesn’t like when you’re jealous cause he knows how bad it can feel, but a secret part of him does cause he likes when you get a little possessive over him.

Jooyeon

When he’s jealous: If he gets jealous out in public he’s a bit too shy to actually do anything. Instead he’ll pull on your sleeve or the hem of your shirt. A silent way of asking for you two to leave. Once you guys arrive back home or are away from people he’ll cling to you like there’s no tomorrow. 

“Why do guys think they can just flirt with you? I’m clearly your boyfriend, am I not?” he whines into your shoulder. “Maybe we should stay inside more, then no one could try to steal you from me,” he says, holding you tighter.

“Jooyeon no one could ever steal me from you,” you tried to reassure him.

“I know, but the fact that they still try is rather annoying,” he mumbled. 

“Come on, how about we watch something?” you suggest trying to distract his mind.

“So you can stare at the lead actor? No!” He refuses.

“Ok you’re being a little ridiculous now,” you state.

“It’s not my fault. I don’t want you to leave me,” he says. His words pull on your heartstrings.

“I would never do that Jooyeon. How about we play a game instead?” you tried 

“Now you’re talking,” just like that your happy Jooyeon was back.

When you’re jealous: Another one that won’t let you breathe. Would randomly bring up times you were jealous out of nowhere just to get a reaction out of you.

“Stop acting like you’ve never been jealous,” you remarked having enough. Jooyeon just brought up a time you were jealous over a time fans recognized him in public. It wasn’t your proudest moment and you know it was silly, but was how you felt at the time. 

“They were just fans though, they could never replace you,” he argued.

“And Taecyeon is just a 2pm member slash actor, but you don’t like it when I watch his dramas,” you retorted. 

“That- that’s different,” he stuttered. Not expecting you to flip the table on him

“Is it? How so?” you pushed him.

“Ok, so we both get a bit unreasonably jealous sometimes, but you know what it just shows how much we love each other, so let’s stop talking about it now,” he ushered out. You were a bit surprised by his answer, but you found it endearing nonetheless.

summary:

it’s been nearly 8 years since the events of hawkins and out of the entire party, the only one to stay behind is the one and only eddie munson. with a five year old daughter in tow, his life is a simple one, still trying to escape the dark cloud over him that never went away. 

 but when all too familiar hellish events start happening again eddie must team up with his daughter’s favorite and mysterious new teacher to protect his little girl and the town he owes nothing to.

“One, two, three, eyes on me! ” You called out to your students who looked in your direction, bouncing in their seats.

“One, two, eyes on you!” They responded back, happy chatter falling into silence.  Only two weeks into the school year but you already had a good feeling about your classroom full of sweet rambunctious kids eager to learn.

It wasn’t a mistake to move to Hawkins, you’d be safe here, and you deserved a happy new life doing the one thing you’ve always wanted to do.

“We’re being such good listeners today! We’ve got about thirty minutes before lunch so let’s work on our spelling. Would anyone like to help me pass out our workbooks?”

A tiny hand shoots up before everyone else as Rosie Munson all but rockets out of her seat at the prospect of passing out the torn workbooks.

“ Thank you for volunteering Rosie, come on down.” 

A flash of pigtails, a band tee, and a tutu over jeans nearly barrel into you as the kindergartner skids to stop in front of you. 

“You can give them all to me, I’m strong enough!” She proclaimed, taking the stack bigger than her into her arms and rushing away before you could take some.

“It’s okay if you don’t remember but yesterday we were working on the letter B so we’re gonna keep going-

An odd sensation crept up the back of your spine, causing you to break the chalk with a loud snap, but you try to recover from the weirdness so as to not scare a room of five year olds.

But something didn’t feel right.

“So we’re try B from the very top and-

“Miss, Rosie won’t give me my workbook!”

“ Rosie, do you need help?” You ask over your shoulder, fetching a new piece of chalk but turn around immediately when you get no response.

Rosie stood frozen in place in the middle of the aisle, staring out the window. 

“ Rosie, are you alright sweetie? ”

She said nothing, lifting her hand to point out the window.

 You follow her gaze to see what appears to be a dark cloud over the sunny september sky. 

A large, fast moving cloud.

Birds.

A big wet thump on the windowpane makes you all gasp and you barely have enough time to grab Rosie out of harm’s way before every single window shattered.

“Everyone get down! Get down now!”  You yelled over your students' screams, shielding as many of them as you can while the others hid under their desks. You can hear it happening all over the building, the flapping of wings and screaming before it all stops. The cries die down to whimpers as you take in the scene of your terrified students surrounded by what had to be hundreds of dead birds.

The aftermath is a blur of consoling students, early dismissals, a cavalcade of ambulances, buses, and concerned parents wrapping their children in their arms. Your kids gather around you, waiting for  their bus or parents to retrieve them until it’s just you and Rosie, no longer scared and happily chattering at your side while you both wait for her parents to pick her up.

The looks from some of the older teachers as they walk past make your blood boil. You had heard their chattering on the first day of school, the way they whispered something about being grateful that they didn’t have the freak’s kid in their class. You didn’t know what they meant and you didn’t care.

The sound of a car racing into the lot with heavy metal blasting and Rosie’s excited giggles stir you out of your reverie.

“ Daddy! That’s my daddy Miss!” Rosie hopped down from her chair next to you as you got a look at the emerging figure from the car.

 Rosie shared the same brown curls and doe eyes with her father, though his curls fell to his ears.  Heavily tatted arms scooped up his daughter, looking at the pink band aids covering her hands and arms in confusion and concern.

“Did you get in a fight with a wood-chipper munchkin?”

“We had a freak incident with some birds today, hence the early dismissal. I had the nurse and paramedics check her over and they said she’s going to be fine, nobody was seriously hurt.” You said, stepping forward, hand outstretched. “ It’s nice to meet you Mr. Munson, I’m Rosie’s teacher.” You said with a smile.

He looked at you in a way that made your heart race which you’re not quite sure if you like it  or not.

“ Eddie works, Mr. Munson was my crappy old man. It’s nice to meet you and I’m sorry I’m late, my boss wouldn’t let me off early despite it being an emergency.  Thank you for looking after my girl, she speaks highly of you.” He said, tickling his daughter before placing her in a car seat.

“ Rosie is a pleasure to have in class and I look forward to her progress this year, hopefully with fewer bird break-ins.” You said rather lamely but Eddie smiles anyway before his eyes go further down.

“ You’re bleeding.”

“ I’m what-oh.”

You look down to see a thin scratch near your collarbone, a small line of blood oozing down your neck. Eddie closes the gap between you two, fishing a bandanna from his pocket and before you can protest, presses it to your cut, cool calloused fingertips against your hot skin.

  You should probably be doing anything but this in the middle of the school parking lot but oddly enough, you don’t want this complete stranger anywhere else but close to you right now.

“ See Daddy, I told you she was pretty.”

The Coyboy's Captive

Chapter 1

When you agreed to help agent 1 and agent 2 as their tech expert, you thought they were joking about demons existing. Until you saw the videos. You were one of the only people allowed to know of their existence. Agent 1 and 2 called you Techie instead of learning your name. And some of their requests were a bit more science fiction than science. But you found their intensity to be kinda funny and entertaining so you just brushed it off when they gave you an impossible task. But, when it finally came down to it they didn’t exactly have your back. So after they were slaughtered by the demons you were captured. The demons were gonna kill you at first but they realized that you were the only one able to erase all the footage of them and get them the list of the very few people who knew they existed. So the one in charge told the wolf girl to “fetch” and she picked you up and they took you through a portal to hell.

A few weeks past and you learned all your captors names. Loona was the one who often caught you when you tried to escape and she had your scent. She could track you for miles. She was also the one who watched you while the rest of I.M.P. went on missions. Although she didn’t do a very good job of it. You had went and walked out the door many times with her not evening giving you a glance as you tiptoed past her. But she always found you. Sometimes it happened fast and a few times it took her a while. But this time it took her even longer than usual. You did what you had done numerous times. You saw her reading some magazine and listening to music with earphones in. You stood up from the couch in the office and quietly as you could snuck past her. You opened the door slowly and closed it slowly as you snuck out. They never tied you up because you needed your hands to type and delete footage. You didn’t want to abandon your laptop but you still left it. Soon you were walking the streets of hell by yourself once again. Not quite sure where to go or what to do. But, maybe someone could help. Yeah right! Someone in hell going out of their way to help you? Not likely. You stopped when one large male hellhound approached you. “Hey, you’re a human!”

     you were quite scared. But you tried to keep your cool. “yes, I’m kind of stuck here” he looked at you with hungry eyes and it made you uncomfortable. “hmm, maybe I can help you. Maybe we can even help each other” he purred. You started to back away but he grabbed you and dragged you into a nearby alley. He pushed you against the wall and you screamed so he covered up your mouth with his paw. You had hoped that somebody, ANYBODY would have heard you yell and would come to your rescue. The hellhound got really close to your face. You whimpered under his paw. He whispered in your ear “don’t worry I won’t bite, as long as you behave.”

But all of a sudden he released you as he shrieked in pain. He was being stabbed in the lower back by some… imp? What was he? You wondered. The hellhound turned to face him and attacked, but the demon dressed like a cowboy dodged and stabbed him again. “you don’t know who you’re messing with” the hellhound growled. The odd looking imp smiled wickedly with a gold tooth flashing a quick shine. “oh, yeah” he challenged. “well, I think it’s the other way around” you could now recognize some sort of southern accent. It seemed kinda fitting. The cowboy creature pulled out a strange fancy gun and the hellhound’s eyes got wide. “You! YOURE CRAZY!” he howled and ran away without hesitation. That was a bit of an extreme reaction you thought. Now it was just the two of you. “thank you so much!” you exclaimed but he looked at with what seemed like dark intent only for second then flashed you a friendly grin. “sure thing little lady.” He tipped his hat to you and continued. You smiled back to polite. “so what brings a human to this fiery pit I call home?” his way of speaking was so odd but slightly charming. “it’s a long story” you admitted. “Are you good at telling stories?” he asked “um, I think so” He chuckled. “well then darlin’ come with me somewhere private. It’s not safe here. Then you can give me all the juicy details” you weren’t quite sure it was a good idea to go with this guy but he did save you so he was only person in this hellhole you thought might you be able to trust…. so you followed… little did you know at the time how wrong you were….

Makes sure you regularly drain your drains, take your medication.

You dont even have to get the fuck up, I mean he's your personal butler until the doctor gave you the okay.

Three times a day you get a smoothie. He can tell that you dont want to eat because of the pain.

The least you can do is drink something to nurioush you while you were in pain.

If you're embarrassed about having to sleep on some dog pee pads for the drain. Dont be.

Wilbur may not understand but he will constantly comfort you. He'll even make a video to tell his viewers he won't be posting for a moment. A personal issues came up and that is all they know for now.

Also when cold he'll try to keep you warm by very, very gentle cuddles. But any sign of pain and he's off of you and getting you warm blankets and heating packs.

His sweaters? Now all yours. You have no say. He will give you one every day knowing you find alot of comfort in wearing his clothes.

The last thing he wants is you in pain. Especially if it was caused by him.

Your testosterone shot? Dont worry he's got it for you.

He doesn't want you to get up unless you needed to go to the restroom or you were itching to get up.

If you dont take it slow he will threaten you.

This is a threat. He will make you sit back down if you tried to get up and clean.

All in all he is a simp and your butler.

Technoblade

Technoblade may not know what to do but he will try.

He's quite nervous but when he realized you havent eaten and needed something in your system for your pain meds hell make you something soft and light on the stomach.

Are you cold? He'll cover you in a blanket and just sit next to you. Floof senses you in pain and cuddles you more then technoblade.

Techno was a bit butt hurt but knew that you needed alot of support right now.

With his height his clothes are either tight or loose. But his hoodies are always huge. And very fucking comfortable.

His scent relaxed you and helped you sleep at night.

He is a hidden simp.

He will make sure you're comfortable. If you want him to he'll sleep with you in the living room.

When you start walking him and Floof are constantly following you. Just to make sure you are safe and comfortable.

You cant help but love your two boys.

His streams and videos are already inconsistent but he did say his next video or stream might take a longer time.

But if you dont mind then you'll sit near him while he streams. If you needed anything he'll get it.

You saying hi to chat. They know you're in pain by your tone.

And anyone he's in a call with will ask what's up. And when you tell them they'll understand and they'll hype you up.

It warms techno's heart when his friends hype you up.

God this closeted simp is melting internally.

Schlatt

He will tease you.

Pictures are taken and spread around the internet like a wild fire.

This dumbass just got out of surgery and didnt expect to feel like trash lol.

But off camera he's quite the nice guy. Reminding you to drink your water, getting you soft foods or soups, heck he give you some of his pushies from his youtooz.

And this behemoth of a man will give you his shirt or hoodies.

You are with him when he streams or records.

There is no say.

He wants to keep his eyes on you and make sure you are comfortable and safe.

Lowkey dragged you bed into his recording room, you were just vibing in the corner.

You meds are on a set schedule. If the time lands when he's on stream he doesn't think. Just gets up grabs your meds and a premade smoothie.

With that he gave them to you.

Watching you swallow that pill because you can be stubborn with pain meds.

Returns to the stream.

Yells at chat for calling him a simp. He told them you were in pain and it's the least he can do for you.

Will low key rub your back off stream. As sleeping while sitting up us hell on your shoulders.

Jambo is all over you, soaking up the attention he can get while you were immobile.

Schlatt would glare st him for taking away his S/O.

When it came to you wanting to walk he will let you.

If you hurt then this man would laugh and tell you to sit your ass down. You are going anywhere just yet.

He's gonna carry you when you are in as much pain.

He's tall and there is no stopping him.

It makes him feel a bit happier due to the fact you aren't hurting as much, and still getting to the place you needed.

Also he will hug you if he sees you are uncomfortable. The hug is very soft and unlike him.

But at least he is trying.

He also keeps his yelling down, doesn't want you to make too many stiff movements. It would hurt the hell out of you.

Tommy

Ok. Hear me out, butler.

He see the pain you are in and as one of his best friends he wont let you do anything.

Your parents were out of town after your surgery and it wasn't their fault their work called in suddenly.

So you were sent over to Tommy's for the three weeks they were out.

Tommy would let you relax on his bed, heck even sleep on it as well.

Doesn't care if your drains stain the bed. That's an easy clean up and he wants you to be comfortable.

He does still stream. Because it's something he does for a living.

But he'll try to keep it a bit quieter.

You once walked out of the room when he was streaming. You looked like a gremlin, hunched over while you had to take a piss.

When you entered you were greeted by wilbur, techno, and phil telling you they hope you heal fast.

"It only gets better from now on (y/n). Take it easy alright?"-wilbur

"Congrats mate, just relax and dont forget to focus on healing."-Phil

"Yo you got the surgery. Pog. Stay healthy (y/n)."-techno

You melted lightly. A small smile graced your face.

It brought you joy and there was nothing that could compare to it. Honestly.

It seemed almost every day someone tommy knew was hopi g a speedy recovery.

He once yelled at chat for saying you should suck it up.

"CHAT THEY JUST WENT THROUGH SURGRY. LEAVE THEM ALONE!"

You forgot that your parents were even out for those weeks.

Tommy would definitely understand slightly that it would hurt to constrict your chest.

"You cold?"

When you nod tommy is up and handing you one of his hoodies. They are big and comfy. Easy to put on too. So they are perfect.

His two dogs, Walter and Betty?

Expect them in his room curled around you. Dogs know when humans feel pain and when they need something to comfort them.

The stream kind of enjoyed that.

They got wholesome content from you and dog content.

Win win.

Tommy will make sure you have your meds.

If it lands during a stream he blacks out the camera and carefully gets you the things needed for it.

Get you a best friend like tommy.

They wont let you do much when in pain.

Tubbo

He doesn't fully know what to do. He went and spent a few nights over at your house.

Your parents asked his parents for help so they sent over tubbo.

They made a list but the poor boy couldnt read it.

"A sm-oosthie with their pain pill... what the hell is a sm-oosthie?!"

It took him calling tommy to ask him to tell him.

"Tubbo. It says smoothie and who is this fo-."

He hung up before tommy could finish and made the smoothie.

Your cat was quite cuddly.

When he walked in your cat was on your lap.

"Tubbo? When did you get here?" Oh yeah it was a surprise.

"Not too long ago. Your parents left and asked me to help."

He was doing it in all good.

But he scared you so badly.

He bought you a stuffed animal...

It was a huge minecraft bee. And by huge I mean huge.

You got homemade soup to take your meds.

Tubbo was quite happy to see you smiling and lightly laughing.

When they left you felt better.

Tubbo may not know how to do alot but he tried his best. And you loved every moment.

You got you best friend to help you. And nothing was better then that.

Ranboo

Ranboo spent the night and all you guys could do was joke about the pain.

The jokes were quite self deprecating too.

All night you guys were up.

You couldn't sleep because of the pain and he didnt want to sleep due to the fact he didnt want you to be alone.

So you two were sleep deprived and your parents were concerned. But understood you two didnt want the other to feel bad.

After you healed a bit your parents got called into work. Leading to you spending a few days over there.

Ranboo streamed a recorded with you in the back ground.

He forgot you were there once and he turned on face cam. There you were in the background nose deep into a book while wearing one of his hoodies.

You were freezing and your shirts were a bit too tight.

He just gave you one of his and that was that.

"Whis in the background?"-dono

"In the background?" He turned around to see you just reading your book.

"Oh. That's one of my friends. They had a surgery a week ago."-ranboo

They are huge and comfy.

Since sapnap lives with him he sends in sapnap sometimes because he's recording or has to get something that wasn't in the house.

Also when you found the zipper you unzipped it and found dream stashed some gift cards and little trinkets in it. Along with a note.

But you loved it. It was quite comforting that he gave his affection in these ways still.

She's cuddling you and being very gentle on you.

Low key she won't leave you though, she's following you everywhere, on your lap, sitting there when your on the toilet.

She's clingy. More clingy then before.

But it warmed your heart.

If george visits then he'll see a little gremlin making a b line to the bathroom.

All because the pain made your stomach feel upset.

And you hadn't eaten anything because of pain.

Dream is quick to rush in and see what's wrong.

You were sitting on the ground in the bathroom. Needless to say it didnt end well and you hated it.

"Baby. Do you want me to get you a smoothie and your pain meds?" You were grateful.

After leaving the bathroom you lightly hunched over you noticed the British man in your living room.

You watched his videos.

You waved lightly with a smile.

"Oh sorry (y/n) I didnt tell you george was coming did i?"

Your look told it all.

"Sorry you have to see me like this." You had the urge to apologize.

With a small nod you went back to your room and relaxed.

He didnt know what to do at all.

He answered your requests.

But he didnt know why you needed that thick ass blanket in the middle of the summer.

But now you have it.

It's in your arms by your side.

He's sad it wasn't him in your arms but understood it would cause you pain.

He just lightly lays in your lap.

It brought you comfort and him comfort.

Your germilin ass tended you get up and walk at the weirdest time too.

Your are going to get a snack.

You are on your way to the toilet.

Your once more in the kitchen getting something to eat with your pain pill.

George slept through it and was confused when you weren't in bed like the doctors told you to.

He's quite meticulous with your meds and eating habits.

He doesn't push but makes sure you have something with that pill.

Hell try to help you with your bandages. But sometimes got queasy at the blood and stuff.

It was okay with you though.

You didnt mind that due to the fact that you too got queasy as well.

I think you guys sleep through this alot.

Wilbur and tommy visited.

You was shocked and confused when they had a few get well soon gifts.

Tommy got you a small fidget toy, just something to do with your hands sometimes.

Wilbur got you a few books and a small stuffed toy.

It was a orca.

You loved it but still loved the one that george got you.

He got you a little wooloo one.

It was something that was soft and easy to cuddle.

But the books wilbur gave you were amazing.

It gave you something to do for a long while. And it gave george some more cuddle time.

Other than not knowing what to do george was a great source of comfort.

Sapnap

Sapnap is a bit more experienced with it.

Kind of knowing what to do and all together he just know more then most people.

There is a regular schedule for you meds and so called meals, he changes out the dog pads if he notices them dirty. He knows how to maneuver himself next to you so there was no pain.

"i-" "pleasee, i'll hold your hand if you're scared" he said with a smile, you couldn't resist this man so both of you went on it. sunghoon knows nothing about your fear of heights so when the ride was about to drop from it's peak you held his hand tightly shouting "i fucking hate rollercoasters- i also wanted you to know i love you a lot, hoon, like a lot lot-!" sunghoon had heard everything and held tight onto your hand. after the ride you both had sat down on a bench. Cut scene from Chapter 2

This is an excerpt that was supposed to appear in my fic a warped rail meets a straight one but was cut for length. It's supposed to take place while Dabi is still stuck inside with Shouto, watching old endeavor fights on his phone to analyze his fighting. (Its original placement was right before dabi and shouto start practicing their old martial arts to pass the time, about a third of the way through the chapter) I wanted to show off Dabi's strategic side before putting him in any actual fights, but ultimately it didn't add enough to the story for me to keep it.

I felt kinda bad about just throwing it away, though, so here it is as a treat for those that want it.

He's zeroing in on a fight from 2 years ago, this time.

The villain's moving through crowded spaces, sticking close to people and intentionally kneecapping Endeavor's ability to go full-out. She's got a transformation quirk that lets her grow her bones into sharp spikes all over her body. Dabi’s scrolled through endless pages on hero forums of wannabe quirk analysts discussing them. Whether the transformation is on her skin, or in her own skeleton, and she's constantly skewering herself. It doesn’t matter. They do not seem to hurt her, nor do they require a buildup. And that’s the only information relevant in combat.

She slices through a civilian's arms with an extended bone spear coming out of her wrist. She's fast, but not supernaturally so, so she relies on creating chaos in the crowd.

Really, Endeavor is a horrible match up for her. He's big, flashy, couldn't care less about the collateral damage he causes. But a crowd full of panicking civilians is too much for even him to sacrifice.

He flies up high above the crowd and dives down vertically, trying to strike her specifically. He’s also making himself the easiest target in the world. He stretches out his arm, and it's pierced straight through with a bone spear.

It’s over 6 meters long. And not detached. It's not detached. Dabi clicks his tongue. Half the trick of fighting a new opponent is figuring out their quirk, and she's just revealed she can't use hers in long range.

But they do grow fast, and long. And Endeavor's hand has a shard of bone through it, which is always a good thing.

The villain's current problem is that crowds aren't infinite and Endeavor has sidekicks. They play cat and mouse for a little while longer, with Endeavor trying to fire precise shots and her sticking herself to scared civilians and counter attacking whenever she has a clear line of sight. When she grows a spear and stabs Endeavor on the side straight through the body of a civilian the person filming screams and the camera shakes.

One other sidekick, Onima, manages to come close to her and she skewers him with ease. Dabi knows he's not dead, he's seen him back in action, but the people in the video don't have that foresight. More screams. More camera shaking. By the time the camera stabilizes and focuses on her again, the crowd is thinning out and Endeavor has gotten the obvious strategy through his meat headed skull and is chasing the villain to the edge of the mass of people.

The moment he has her isolated she's done for.

She puts up a fair fight, launches an entire parade of spears at him and practically turns herself into a giant sea cactus. But fire cracks bone, and the more she turns herself into a porcupine the more she limits her agility, the only edge she had over him.

Endeavor's clearly had enough, and pulls out prominence burn, which decimates her pitiful defense. He really didn’t have to, considering how obviously weak those bones were to fire. He let his emotions take control of him. Could have easily killed her, in fact, but the cameraman and his friends are cheering. And Dabi knows they just saw her turn multiple people into kebab, but even the most empty-brained moron knows heroes aren't supposed to kill people. Not that anyone cares about that.

He grimaces, and turns off his phone. Watching the bastard's face never fails to make his skin crawl. He needs to do something.

1) Stanley rarely gets angry, when he is supposed to be angry he instead get anxious and either starts to talk nonsense or stays silent.

2) He finds the idea lovely, but he knows that he will never meet anyone he could call a soulmate

3) More than being a pet peeve it just really makes him uncomfortable: when people are loudly shouting at him or at someone else.

4) He often thinks about his early childhood before he was seprated from his baby sister.

5) Probably the time he spent in the hospital before he found out about the Nosferatu and became their ghoul. Before that incident, he was feeling safe, taken care of and loved having a routine, knowing the place well and always looked forward to visits from his sister.

6) When he was separated from his sister and put into different foster homes.

7) He wouldn’t even go to a bar, too many people and too loud for his taste.

8) He was pretty badly beaten up when he was  living on the street, but nothing was ever broken. After the Embrace he made Maks (his Sire) pretty unhappy a few times which resulted in him getting a few broken ribs. He tries to stay away from danger, but sometimes it doesn’t work out.

9) He would like to forget finding a dead woman’s body in the sewers.

10) His happiest memory is playing peek-a-boo with his sister in the driveway, he was oblivious about the world and his future. Life was good at that moment.

11) No, he doesn’t. His type is everyone who would treat him nice and made him feel safe :) He currently has a woman he got kinda attached to, only because she was nice to him when he accidentally bumped into her on the street. He had a hoodie over his face and it was dark. She thought he was a homeless kid. She helped him gather all of the small trinkets he dropped in the collision and he was captivated by her kindness, so he followed her home XD

12) Many – he has a collection of various random things he found in the sewers, he collects everything that catches his attention – mainly some personal things like rings, bracelettes, scrunchies, he even found a photo album. He remembers the exact place he found each of his possessions and he likes to imagine stories for each item. He keeps bracelet of the dead woman in case he would one day found out her identity and could return it to her family.

13+14) He has no tattoos or piercings, only way too many fangs in his small mouth that pierce his lips and cheeks XD

15) His dream house would be somewhere where he would be frozen in time as a happy child together with his sister.

16) You would not expect to find out that he is actually not a child, but a grown man, his small and frail stature is deceiving.

17) He has always good intentions with gifts, but he is not the best at choosing gifts XD  He misjudges other people’s interest in smelly, sewer treasures XD

18) He knows he has a great memory, but because it has brought him so much trouble, both internal and external, he isn’t really proud or even happy he has an eidetic memory.

19) A stranger would describe him as a weird, smelly kid who talks too fast XD

20) Someone who spent more time around him and got to know him more (Mateusz) would describe him as a scared, smol man who might look like he can’t even count to ten but is actually very clever, but let others walk all over him because he is afraid of conflict.

21) He, himself is a walking insecurity :) But his biggest one is to not be understood when talking as he normally talks pretty fast, but when he is nervous and considering how many fangs he has it is sometimes hard for him to make sense and then he gets even more agitated as he is worried he will convey the message in a wrong way.

23) Depends on the nature of the lie, most likely he would just nod and tried to understand the reason why he was lied to.

24) He has fond memories of the summer as when he was on the street, summer nights were warm and he didn’t have to worry about freezing to death. Aside this he is indifferent to the weather.

25) From romantic point of view he never had anyone he could say these words to, in general terms he only said I love you to his sister. He wouldn’t have a problem saying it first, but as a Nossie he knows that chances of him finding someone who would even want to spend time with him are almost none, so he will probably never say it to anyone else.

26) His only issue with openly sharing his worries is his fear of not being believed or worse be punished, so it depends on the person. If he knows that the person won’t get angry at him, he will share his worries.

27) No, he never saw anyone die. But the dead woman in the sewers was the first dead body he saw and he can’t erase the empty look on her face, it haunts him every night. He feels sad for her, being left there nameless, alone, dumped like trash. She surely had family somewhere and maybe they are still looking for her to this day…just like his sister is looking for him…

28) He totally is ticklish, he is very sensitive to touch, mainly because he is not used to be touched at the first place.

29) Very low pain tolerance, he hates being in physical pain and he knows that he now can heal pretty much everything, but it doesn’t take away the fact that he would much rather avoid getting hurt in the first place.

30) He wishes he would have been brave enough to say no to some of the things he is asked to do.

31) He isn’t a particularly messy eater, he mainly feeds on rats, not because of the guilt, but because he thinks that feeding from mortals is very stressful and scary ordeal.

32) Most unloved: when he got stuck obfuscated in the same room as the woman he followed home and unfortunately had to watch her and her date being intimate with each other. Not only he felt innapropriate, but it made him feel so lonely and sad that he never in his life felt so safe with someone to share such closeness and now he never will.

33) When he was reunited with his sister after years apart. Despite her being the younger sibling she   basically took care for him and did everything she could to get his mental health problems under control.

34) He would most likely hate to lose touch as he likes to touch things XD On the other hand he would gladly lost hearing, so he could no longer spy on people :D

35) He likes small talk, because it feels relaxing and he doesn’t have to worry about saying too much.

36) He would have asked Maks if he ever cared about him as a person or if he just considered him a tool, a good asset to have because of his memory skills.

37) To the past, to his early childhood to spend more time as a naive child with the person he cares the most in the world.

38) positive: his sister – she made him feel loved and made him feel like he mattered, the staff and other patients in the hospital – they made him feel safe, cared for and not alone, negative: various people he met while he was on the street, his foster families, and to an extent his biological parents though he didn’t meet with them after.

39) Depends, in the hospital he liked being surrounded by people because they were nice and he felt safe with them, as a Nossie he prefers to be alone because the other Kindred most often than not scare him. He likes to spend time with Jamie (the ghoul that is living in the sewers with them) because of her child-like personality, she seems harmless and he likes that.

40) The scary thing that he had seen in one part of the tunnels one night, nobody believes him but he is pretty sure there is something terriyfing livin there. Aside this probably his Sire Maks, but he had heard that he met Final death.. apparently by Mateusz’s hands of all people…

Jean had no idea why he kept coming back to the same church. He had no reason to, and here he was sitting in once of the polished benches. Churches were supposed to give you hope, it was where people gave prayers of all kinds. He’d never hate a building so much.

Where did everything started to change, when was I not enough anymore?

It was nearing midnight, the church will soon close and Jean’s finding it so hard to stand, he was soon the only one left inside the marble building. It was warm due to the candles that lit the altar in the front, he could see the ghost of you standing up front with him, a reminiscent feeling washed over him, god you looked so beautiful that time. 

Why didn’t you tell me from the start, I’m the one you needed but not the one you love?

He couldn’t help but shed a tear, the white lace caressed your skin so beautifully, he was so awestruck on how your hair fell perfectly on your face. He was so whipped, and he wasn’t afraid to show it, he could remember how he reached his hand out, connecting with yours as your father passed you onto Jean’s hand. He pulled you in front of the altar, holding your hand tightly.

If only he knew how much you didn’t want to do this. 

Where did my love lack, I gave everything just to make you smile.

He had so many things he dreamed of doing with you, it was a shame it would never happen, he gave it up, so many things he gave up just to keep you in his arms, but when did you start falling out of love? Jean watched as the ghosts of your supposed happiest day faded from him eyes, leaving him alone in that church.

Why didn’t I see you don’t want us anymore, I’m the one you’re with, but you’re looking for him.

He missed you so much, a year went by so fast, a second you were stargazing with him, and the next, he’s alone, reminiscing on something long gone. Jean doesn’t even know where you are anymore, god knows if you’re having the most fun in your life, he’s hoping you are though.

And if you’re happy with his company, I won’t insist no more.

Jean wonders if you were to go through with your wedding, would you be happy? He looked at his watch, 11:03 pm, it read. A sigh left his mouth as a hand ran through his ash grey-brunette hair. He remembers all the things you did in your relationship, a smile unconsciously planting itself into his lips.

All I wish for him is to never make you cry, and to take care of you.

He could remember when you and him went on a trip to have a picnic, your were smiling the biggest that day, he could still remember how the sun showered you both in warm gold, Jean felt like he remembered that one moment like it was yesterday. His hands ran up his arms, trying to replicate the same warmth you gave him when you jumped into his arms that day.

Where did the faithfulness stopped, every time you say you loved me?

Where did it all go so wrong, why couldn’t Jean hear you didn’t want to do this anymore? God, why were you so silent? He knew could never blame you, even if he tried hard to, you weren’t at fault, at all. Everyone breaks out of phases, relationships all the time, but damn it, it fucking hurts.

It wasn’t your fault, neither of you. Jean never blamed you, he hopes you don’t blame him either. Maybe he lacked in something. He doesn’t know what, it was just something. Maybe you knew?

Why didn’t you admit that there’s somebody else? I’m the one you embraced, but you’re thinking of him.

Jean laughed at his state, he felt dumb thinking of something that happened a year ago. He felt his eyes tear up as his laughter died down, why is it still painful? it hurts so bad, he needs to let go, god it’s hurting him so bad. Jean laughed through his tears as he tried his best to wipe them away from his vision.

He moped no longer and stood up from his spot, walking towards the altar one more time.

Why didn’t I think, that there’s a finale?

He could hear footsteps coming up to the front of the church, he turned around to walk away, when he saw you, the girl he’s been hurting over, bad. Jean thought it was just a figment of his imagination until you stood in front of him, his nose picked up your familiar scent. He knew you were standing in front of him, the real you.

“Hi..Jean..” You looked up at him, a similar pain in your eyes, matching his.

Jean couldn’t speak, he felt he was gonna sob if he even spoke a word. You took it as a sign to continue what you wanted to say. “I..I’m sorry.” 

“God, I’m so sorry..Jean.” Jean’s eyes widened slightly. You could feel your eyes sting with tears, as your throat started to close, a familiar feeling. You recognized it as you starting to breakdown. 

“I, am so sorry,” your voice starts to quiver, “I got tired. I’m sorry I had to disappear.” Jean turned his gaze to the side, feeling himself start to tear up. “I tried, jean. I really did.” your gaze was long on the floor. “I gave you everything, I truly did, I was just emptied.” 

“I’m sorry that I hurt you.”

Jean felt himself sigh, his sigh was shaky, and he felt himself take a big gulp, “I’m sorry.” He found his voice to say something. You stood before him, your gaze was on the floor, feeling too shameful to look at the eyes of the one you used to be in love with.

He continued either way, “I’m sorry..that I wasn’t there when you needed me.” Jean forced himself to muster the courage to say what he needed to say, he needed to, for both of you. “I’m sorry if I didn’t protect you.”

“fuck, I didn’t even get to protect you.” Jean’s voice started to pitch, he felt a tear run down his cheek. “I got scared.” You looked up at him, “I was so scared.”Jean confessed his fear of not being good enough for you and the relationship. “But, I wanted to be there, Reader, I really did. I wanted to be there when you were hurting so badly.” Jean ran a hand down his face to rid of the itch from the cold wind hitting his wet cheeks.

He could start to hear your sniffles and your attempt to try your best not to sob right then and there. “But, I wasn’t.” Jean laughed through his shaky voice. “Maybe because, I was slowly realizing that..we weren’t meant to be with each other.”

You tried to smile through your pain, an attempt of a smile was on your face as you quivered, “We tried, right?” Jean looked at your face, tracing over every small feature. “We gave it out best fight, right?” You asked. Hopeful, that he too believed you both did your best, trying hard to keep the relationship together between you. 

Jean gave a painful smile back, nodding. “Yeah, we tried.” You sniffled, wiping your tears, fiddling with your hands. “I uhm..wanted to thank you for the memories you made with me,” Jean confessed, a pained smile still on his face. “Even if we couldn’t do what we always dreamed of doing.” 

“I’m happy with the life you shared with me.” You wiped your tears away, listening entirely to Jean and him only. Not the buzzing silence, not the wind outside swaying the trees. Just him.

“I’m..happy that, you’re happy.” You looked at the side, trying to catch a breath, even if it’s hard to do so, with every breath you took taunting you to let out the sob you keep supressing. “I want you to be happy, too.” You confessed, looking at him. He felt relief, maybe because you both needed to talk this out, or maybe finally feeling like you could both let go of the things you kept holding on about each other.

Your eyes closed shut as you whispered out, “Thank you.” Jean reciprocated with a thank you of his own. You hiccuped, a line of thank you’s coming out of your mouth, maybe from the fact that you’ve finally told him and you’re finally getting the closure you needed.

You felt comfortable enough to reach out for his hands, those same hands that held you during the coldest nights. He welcomed you into his hands once again. Your gazes met each other once again, as one hand cupped your cheek and the other cupped both of yours.

“Oh, God.” The overwhelming feeling of nostalgia and hurt started to resurface and slowly start to fade away, as he glanced up. He could feel your smooth skin, his fingertips caressing it ever so gently. “I want you to know, that I forgive you.” He mumbled out, making sure the moment of intimacy were for both you and him only. “I forgive you, too.” You replied, holding on the hands that held your face lovingly.

You felt your head become weak as you cried into his shoulder, relief coming out. You felt so relieve that he forgives you for the pain you’ve caused him, you couldn’t believe that such a wonderful man was once yours.

Jean looked at you as if it was the last time you’ll see each other, and it probably was. He scanned over every single detail, every speck of light in your eyes, he wiped the tears that cascaded down those beautiful eyes of yours.

And for one last time, laid a gentle kiss on your cheek. before he nuzzled himself into your neck, holding you tightly. He pulled back, “I need to go..” You looked at him with pleading eyes and mumbling incoherent pleas. “I need to..” He felt like he was going to break if he stayed a second longer.

“Take care of yourself.”

You nodded and sighed, starting to pull away, Jean planted his lips one more time on your forehead, his beard tickling your face, before he started to pull away from you. You looked at him one last time, also trying your hardest to memorize his face.

I was the first, but he is the last.

With every step Jean took, he felt the guilt and the burden become lighter, he knew both of you needed to let go, and god had given both of you one last time to recieve that closure.

And it can really be seen in your eyes, why he’s the one you chose.

You wiped your tears away, watching as Jean left you alone in the church you both used to hate so much, and for once, you could see the ghost of your past self leaving with him.

both of you had to let go, and with this, you needed to release the burden of still being in pain, both of your guys’ pain and hurt are no longer’s each other burden, you realize that it’s okay to entrust things to fate and destiny.

Jean knew you and him forgave each other, and that finally releases the heavy weight of pain and guilt both of you held, you both feel like you could breath so freely, and even if you both won’t see each other again, at least, you both got to hold each other one last time.

Jean was happy that he no longer has to feel chained up to your guys’ relationship, and you were happy that you no longer have to deal with the guilt of causing Jean pain and leaving him unanswered. Jean’s footsteps faded away softly, as you stood in the church, crying your final feelings out.
