Ask-An-Anxious-Hoopa is a blog set in the same universe as ask baby Arceus. It follows the life and shenanigans of a nervous Hoopa named Ambra, who has accidentally opened a portal to her realm and cannot seem to close it.
(I’m on mobile so I apologize for any formatting/grammar errors)
Note: This will follow the same format as Ask-Baby-Arceus, so a traditional ask blog
(Confession: I made this blog cause I wanna show off some of my other characters in this universe without disrupting Ask-Baby-Arceus XD)
Rules:
1. Outside of the tumblr tos, I ask that you’re at least 14 to interact with this blog. While there will be no nsfw, there may be some PG-13 content.
2. Just be kind and patient. This is just a blog meant for fun.
3. I dont mind if you ask multiple questions, but they may all not get answered right away
4. Fanart and character interactions are very much encouraged and will be cherished! I also will do my best to respond to them and possibly even draw my own fanart!
Just keep in mind that Zephyr is a young, so please don’t be weird with them.
5. Feel free to be goofy and weird. Zephyr loves goofy and weird! Characters from any universe can pretty freely come in and when interacting with the blog. Zephyr doesn’t care, as long as you’re not boring!
Important links:
main blog: @candys-mewporium
Companion/main story blog: @ask-baby-arceus
Rotomblr blog: @two-blue-mews
Toyhouse (may contain character spoilers)
Characters:
Ambra - Open for Asks
Hoopa - Genderless - she/her - level 75 - docile - alert to sounds

Ambra is Palkia and Dialga’s “favored” Hoopa, which means that she usually has some pretty important duties. However, (relatively) semi-recent events have meant that she doesn’t have much to do.
Alt forms
Ask Hints:
Who are you?
Where are we?
Why don’t you look like other Hoopa?
How old are you?
Ask general questions to get to know her!
How did we get here?
Are you aware that your Arceus is dead?
Estella - open for asks
lvl. 39 - psychic - young adult - Sassy - she/her - “somewhat vain” - likes sweet things - refuses to eat anything sour
unique features:
- natural pink blush on her face and a bit of pink in her eyes
Skye - open for asks
Gardevoir, she/her, fairy/psychic, calm, good endurance, favors bitter things, avoids anything sweet
Unique features:
- Fairy/psychic with some added fire type moves and higher attack
- Gardevoir with Blaziken traits
Notes:
Both have a Hoopa ring given to them by Ambra that allows them to travel around within their universe.
Ambra’s best friends
Ask Hints:
Who are you?
What kind of pokemon are you?
Why do you look so different?
Try asking for more details about Ambra’s Mew heritage
Are you legendaries as well?
Important Details (so far):
You’re currently located in The Endless Realm, a place between the mortal and spirit realms.
You came in through a portal that Ambra accidentally opened and cannot close.
Ambra helps guide lost souls back to where they need to go. This isn’t her normal job, but it’s what she’s been assigned due to realm/universe travel not being as needed right now.
Capital, a Hoopa from another universe, had to come by to slap some sense into Ambra and pointed out that her emotions clearly affect her portals.
You can’t do much cause the Endless Realm cancels out the power of any non-ghost type Pokemon and you can’t go anywhere without someone who can use portals.
Ambra accidentally opened a portal that lets beings from other universes in.
Estella and Skye, Ambra’s best friends, each have a limited Hoopa ring of their own so they can visit Ambra.
Three other Hoopa exist in this universe. They are Ambra’s older half brothers.
Ambra’s mom is a Mew

I had an interesting dream again last night!! (aahhh it's been awhile) But I'll just give y'all the rundown in bullet point form to save us all the time.
(Ngl ......I'm very tempted to turn this into a drabble.... I haven't written in awhile..)
• So basically, Ten was my boyfriend and we were hanging out together before my Korean class starts
• We're just chilling, and I'm sitting on his lap (pretty much laying on him cause our feet are on another chair) while sitting at some random desk near the back. (I usually sit right up front, so it felt..odd)
• I knocked the hell out just before class started (can you blame me though? playing with my hair, his soft voice, the quiet lull of rain outside..)
• He asks my prof to let me stay asleep bc I was getting sick and am really weak (my prof is an absolute sweetheart and she really likes me so she felt bad and let it slide this time)
• He would speak to her in full on Korean the entire time (bc he had studied abroad or smth) and she was just so impressed lmao (it's a lvl 1 Korean class so she's always in awe if you know a lot. it's so cute how excited she gets, really)
• He took notes and pictures of everything for me so that I wouldn't be behind
• Then carried me and my stuff off when class was over bc I was all loopy and developing a fever and everything
("Only you would be getting sick for your bday.. jeez your luck")
• Took me over to his dorm and took such great care of me tbh (meds, food, washcloth to the head, the whole shebang) before we took a nap together
• I just stayed over at his dorm and we slept in bc my class was cancelled (and then I had to borrow his clothes and everything)
• He really babied and smothered me until I felt better I'm ngl, (ofc he was his usual half teasing self too) but bc I was feeling so bad he looked almost sad, since my usual snarkiness was replaced with whines and stuff
• When next class came around I got hella teased next class by all my friends in class
(and a person or two got annoyingly jealous..🤦🏻♀️) bc 1- someone has a crush on me (real) and 2- someone thought Ten was cute and was sad he was taken (dream)
#text#my post#jj.dreams#my dreams#jj.txt#personal?#ten#potential drabble incoming on my side blog#i never did finish my fantasy oneshots series ... rip lmao

Some Rdm tips for anyone who wants to git gud looking good
Disclaimer: this is for general content. If you're raiding and stuff much of this really shouldn't apply. I'm also not the best of the best of the best, so, as with everything, take with many grains of salt.
Manashift your healers. Bonus points if you also use lucid because aggro reduction (you're welcome tank sempai). Times not to manashift: if you have no Mana. If the healer is a dick and you can vercure better than they can heal. If lookaway mechanic or Mustadio is analyzing you.
Diversion. Use before every pull if up and on cooldown during bosses if tank is new, undergeared, or sucks.
Don't be afraid to vercure yourself or teammates. You got hit by avoidable mechanics and could die if healer is tired of your shit? Vercure. Thunder Daddy brings party hp to 1 and dooms you, and heals ain't cutting it? Vercure. Everyone wiped but you and the tank and you're lvl 60 capped? Vercure, dps, vercure, dps. You, as a rdm, CAN carry the team if you do it right. Your back will hurt and you won't get any comms.
Manafication and embolden for mad Moliet dps in dungeons. The cooldowns are short enough to where you don't need to sit on these to save for the boss. Wipe that mob pack out.
3+ mobs? Scatterspam + manafication+ embolden+ Moliet. Buuuut, if your Mana is stupid imbalanced it's not awful to toss in the appropriate color spell in after a scatter until it's more even.
Sliiidecast. It's a little bit different for everyone, but figure out at what point on your castbar you can star moving without cancelling and abuse it. Also verholy/verflare don't care if you move at all, so once your combo is done cast while gtfo. Swiftcast is also your friend here.
Erase exists and is useful. If it has a blue line over the debuff icon AND is a dot of some kind AND isn't on you personally, you can erase it. Takes a fraction of a second.
Addle exists and can help with damage reduction.
It's ok to skip the backflips. If you can safely, do. It's dps. But if you're iffy, just don't. Dying is worse than a small potency loss that really shouldn't be there anyway.
Your gapcloser and backflips can help you stylishly avoid mechanics. Psa though, if you think you're gonna corps a corps OVER that puddle of poison just because you were on higher ground, you're wrong. The game doesn't care about what the animation shows, you're poisoned.
You aren't a healer. You can heal. You can rez. But ultimately you're a dps. If people are max suckatude and bringing the party down, you don't have to rez them. If they're toxic and being awful and you can feasibly get by without them you don't have to rez them! Be prepared to pick up their slack though.

A Battle for The Truth
Who: Santana, @ellnaturae @joephilim and Jesús! Location: Undique Stadium Time: 2 March 2019 Summary: Santana wants to annoy people and mock angels so she brings Joe to fight but encounters other people she knows there so obs they all gotta fight each other. Triggers/Notes: Violence, shooting, guns. Also I didn’t copied the map thingie while it was happening sorry guys I won’t make the same mistake twice.. . .
Santana was walking around campus, really really pissed off. Not wanting to admit the awful truth that was crawling to her. Ryder is coming back. We are going to do the ritual. Then it's all over. She didn't want to think of the alternative. The monster investigation was fun. But she needed any other thing before falling into a complete despair. Then she saw it. A sign from God. The angel. "Baby!" She calls Joe when she saw him. "Come with me! I have good deeds waiting for you... unless you are..." She put that mocking voice you make for babies or tiny pups. "Scared?"
Joe is not lost. Angels don't get lost. Everything else is simply out of place. This is familiar, but at the same time, it isn't, like maybe the color was different, or--He turns towards a familiar voice, and is not relieved when it's Santana Lopez, the one who escaped death because of his letter. "I'm not scared of any good deeds. That's--what's waiting for me?" he asks, looking around for a lost soul needing shoes, or maybe a bruise that needs healing.
Elliott enjoys going to the gym to keep his body active though sometimes he feels really bad about those guys who actually are there to gain muscles and see him literally lifting several weights at the same time, just a moment ago one dude almost walks into a wall because he was looking at him in disbelief. It is also a nice place to flirt with cute guys, he is not gonna lie, maybe the lifting surprise some of them who would look at him in surprise, but he also attracts other looks for different reasons. He leaves the lifts behind and goes to one of the running machines, unaware of any other conversation anyone he knows is having right now with other people in other place.
Santana kicks out the gym door dramatically like the place is hers. "Run, joey, run!" She demands like it's super urgent and live or dead, until she pass some guys lifting weights. She notices Elliott there, so she sends him a whisper illusion. "Want to see how the Gayest Queen kicks some angel's ass?" She goes to the first empty training room she encounters. One of those with water on a side for water witches. Maybe she could throw the angel on the little pool. That would be fun.
Joe runs like it's super urgent, past the weightlifting guys, and past Santana Lopez, until he almost runs into a wall. Catching his breath, he discreetly looks around to find the good deed he was promised. Until he catches sight of Santana, and casually strolls over. "Sorry, what am I looking for?"
Elliott let's out a small high pitched scream when he suddenly hears a disembodied voice near his ear, "fuck me" he says realizing is Santana, a guy passes by and winks at him "but also fuck me..." he chuckles but then decides to follow the voice and meet with his friend "So are you guys fighting?" he says when he finds the pair standing next to each other.
Santana grins. And points at herself. "My my, little cherubin... I just wanted to know. If you are really the messenger of God... he wouldn't had make you weak, wouldn't he?" She says, making appear her Soul Armament, the gunshield. "I want to check if you are strong enought to survive." She says, aidming at him. "Get ready, you li-" She gets interrupted. A fish jumps in the pool. A swordfish. "Oh no. No. Not you."
The swordfish jumps outside the water, to the gym floor. It jumps more on the floor, fish out of water not breathing well style. Until the fish polymorphs, becoming a standing human man. With wet clothes. He looks very happy to see people. "Mist!" Jesús says, opening his arms, like he was waiting for anyone to hug him. "And friends! What a joyous coincidence to find you here! Hello pals! Folks call me Jesús. Nice to met you!" He says, looking at Joe. "And nice to see you again, buddy!" He says, looking at Elliott. "Are we reunited here to duel... with our wits? I'll love to join let's go!" He barely breathes or pauses between sentences.
Joe narrows his eyes, swallowing back a retort about how he's not weak. "Yeah, you're right. He wouldn't ha--whoa." A huge fish jumps out of the water, and it feels like a sign--probably a sign that he's right. When the fish turns into a human and opens his arms, Joe cracks a smile and approaches him with a hug. "Jesús!" Joe says. "Like the prophet." This is definitely a sign, he thinks, as he shakes off some excess water. "A battle? For the truth?"
Elliott observes the scene in confusion, maybe he should have followed that guy who wanted to fuck "Erm... that's a dramatic entrance" he chuckles "nice to see you again" he says to Jesús, he then looks at Santana "So? Four way training?" he asks her.
Joe notices the demon and inwardly cringes, because I did not forget to react to that crucial bit of information.
Santana wanted to cancel the fight. But then maybe Jesús would just annoy her to dead. "You...you couldn't possibly know I was going to come here! Not even I knew!" And there he was. Hugging the angel. This was going all kinds of wrong. She just wanted to humilliate someone, why everything had to ruin her plans? "There is no fo-"
Jesús interrupts her. "FOUR WAY TRAINING! We are going to have SO much fun together and you're going to be so happy queniquerrashacerningúnritualdespuésdeesto." No pause. All excited. His sentences just gets faster and faster. "A BATTLE FOR THE TRUTH!" He announces, on a dramatic, deep voice. "What gets broken when its not being held?" He asks, and big smiley flowers appear from the floor. They look like they had been designed by a 3 year old girl and then that 3 year old girl payed 5 dollars to a 2 year old girl to make the 3d versions of them.
1d6 Jesús attacks Santana = (2) = 2
1d6 Jesús attacks Ell = (1) = 1
1d6 Jesús attacks Jow = (5) = 5
@Joe Hart 22/22 👼🏼 Yeshaya L2: 1d6 Joe counter = (5) = 5
Joe jumps a little, but tries to play it cool by rolling his shoulders. There's a riddle, and flowers that smile at him, and he's so confused. "Our trust in the Lord?" Joe answers the riddle.
@Santana 61/62🐮LvL 5(2/3)🔫🛡: 1d7 Santana counter = (1) = 1
Elliott looks at the flowers thinking they are sort of cute, he has no idea what the riddle means "Broken when its not held? What the fuck?" he asks loudly inadvertedly answering his own question.
Santana slips with the watery floor and the flower jump scare, and hits her Perfect and Flawless butt into the floor. "Ugh! Your illusions suck ass! See how it's really done!" She says, making a real scary fucked up realistic giant plant, full of thorns going to attack Jesús.
@Santana 61/62🐮LvL 5(2/3)🔫🛡: 2d7kl1 REAL santana attacks jisus = (7+6) = 6
1d6 Jesús defend himself from Santana attack = (1) = 1
Joe takes a step back, inadvertently towards the demon, when suddenly there's an angry thorny plant attacking the nice guy with the prophet name. "Is this really a battle for the truth??" An edge slips into his voice, and there is one thing he can think will provide comfort; a tiny orchid mantis. "Hi," he greets him.
Elliott can barely react when he sees Santana attacking Jesús, he shrugs and summons Ziggy, it was always better to work with her and there was something they have been meaning to try together for a while,, he is about to move and join the training when Joe steps back and he bumps into him.
@Karin😈Ell 56/59: 2d6kl1= (3+6) = 3
Elliott trips and Ziggy goes flying at the other side of the room, barely hitting Jesús.
Jesús trying to grab and hug Ziggy = (6) = 6
Jesús hears Joe's answer. "No, pal! Wrong answer! But it was a good try! I'm sure you can figure it out!" He conforts him. "Is not the frick either!!" He shouts to Elliott. "You can do it! I can give hints too!" Jesús gets distracted by Santana's attack. "That's a really good illusion, Mist! I'm proud of you!" He says, and hugs the cutest snake flying to him. "Oh my, you are the cutest thing." He whispers, wide eyed, to the snake, and gently puts her in the ground. "You're beautiful. But I don't know if you can swim." He says, and lets himself fall into the water, turning again into a swordfish. He moves faster swimming.
The three flowers merge into a giant one. "Y҉O҉U҉ H҉A҉V҉E҉ T҉O҉ S҉O҉L҉V҉E҉ T҉H҉E҉ R҉I҉D҉D҉L҉E҉" An unreal, mechanical voice sounds. It tries to pats Santana's head.
1d10 Flower attack to Santana = (3) = 3
@Santana 61/62🐮LvL 5(2/3)🔫🛡: 1d7 Santana's counter = (5) = 5
Ziggy is very cute indeed, she hisses to Jesús "thanksss".
Fiyero shouts "ZIGGY IS SUPER CUTE!" from the distance. Nobody saw him.
Ari agrees quietly before slipping off into his spy cat life.
Joe is really confused about everything that's happening. There are flowers, and snakes, and fish, and all he can think to do is send Yesh to attack the flowers patting Santana Lopez on the head.
@Joe Hart 22/22 👼🏼 Yeshaya L2: 2d6kl1 +1 = (4+6)+1 = 5
1d10 Flower counter to yesh = (2) = 2
Elliott teleports next to Ziggy, maybe they could join forces against the flower.
Santana shouts "I'm not going to play your ridiculous riddle games!! And the answer is obvious and super easy!" She says, shooting illusion bullets to the water where Jesús is. "Daisy help me out!"
@Santana 57/62🐮LvL 5(2/3)🔫🛡: 2d7kl1 +1= (2+1)+1 = 2
2d6k1 Jesús counter because he gets advantage in the water fish perks = (1+6) = 6
Jesús as a fish, jumps and throws really fake illusory bubbles to Santana. They have hands and smily faces and they try to hug her. He makes an illusion of his own voice, because he can't talk in fish. "C'mon pals! The answer is a noun. It starts with a P!" He goes back to the water and moves away from Elliott, really fast.
The flower tries to give a clue to encourage riddle solving. I҉ W҉I҉L҉L҉ E҉X҉P҉L҉O҉T҉E҉ S҉O҉O҉N҉ I҉F҉ Y҉O҉U҉ D҉O҉N҉'T҉ S҉O҉L҉V҉E҉ M҉E҉ The illusory sound is so loud and distorsed it can hurt ears.
1d10 Plant attack to Elliott = (2) = 2
@Karin😈Ell 56/59: 1d6 + 1d5 + 2d6k1= (6)+(3)+(5+1) = 14
Elliott takes Ziggy in his hands, he takes a deep breathe, he is a little nervous to practice this tecnique, the soul armament, but he is also excited, the snake starts disolving in dark smoke and she slowly becomes a long chain, the links look rusty, with intense orange and yellow tones coloring the metal. Elliott grabs the chain strongly, and he runs toward the flower, he takes a little jump for impulse and throws one of the ends of the chain towards it, as it hits the flower, Elliott teleports and with the other end that is still on his hand appears on the other side of the flower, surrounding it with the chain, but he miss calculates and falls to the water.
Joe watches, wide-eyed, as the demon disappears from next to him and appears in a different spot. How can he do that? How? He bites the inside of his cheek and starts trying to think about the riddle. Something with a P that breaks when it's not held... "Pan?" he asks, knowing that Jesús speaks Spanish with that weird run-on sentence about rituals. Bread can be very crumbly, right? Santana Lopez seems to not be at full health. He doesn't entirely trust her, or at all, really, but at least she's not in the water and attacking him? "May the Lord Bless you," he says, reaching out with his hand to put it on her shoulder.
The flower illusions dissapears, losing all its strength with the last chain attack.
Jesús as a fish, gets surprised to find a friend in the water, so he turns into his human form, just his head above the water. "Woah you're so fast, buddy! Wanna enjoy a swim?" He shouts very loudly outside "It's not a pan! The answer was A PROMISE!" He said, looking at Santana, like it should mean something. "But let's go for another riddle! If I have it, I shouldn't share it, because if I share it, I won't have it. What is it?" He says, and another illusion appears. Is a tiny cartoony hunter man. Very fake and very unreal. He appears in the same place as the flower was.
Tiny Hunter Man moves on his own spot. "Fast fast! Said the answers before this bomb explotes!! You have one!" Says the little man, showing a sandwich with a countdown.
Santana is super angry. "Shut up with your riddles you fishface! And stop turning into that gross thing!! This is not the fish market!" She shouts, feeling like... in better heal for some reason. She laughs, noticing. "My my! The Lord Bless me? Of course!" She aims at Jesús with her gun, hoping not to fail.
@Santana 57/62🐮LvL 5(2/3)🔫🛡: 1d100=100 = (15, 0 successes) = 0 @Joe Hart 22/22 👼🏼 Yeshaya L2: 1d6 = (5) = 5 (Santana’s blessing healing)
Joe panics when Jesús sends over another illusion, and tries to swat away the sandwich-bomb, with Yesh pecking at it like the nice snack a sandwich is, regretting blessing Santana Lopez when she pulls out a gun. “ARE YOU ALLOWED TO DO THAT??” He asks her, still shell-shocked from the disappearing demon. “An object!” Joe shouts confidently as the answer to the riddle. @Joe Hart 22/22 👼🏼 Yeshaya L2: 1d6 + 1d6 level 2 familiar attack = (3)+(5) = 8
1d15 Tiny mans counter attack to Jow = (9) = 9
Tiny Hunter Man jumps and screams at Joe, while showing signs of a flashing and annoying bad illusion. "NOT AN OBJECT! THINK DEEPER OR BOOM!"
Elliott thinks harder "aaaah..." he starts thinking "Is it a promise again?" he is still in the water, he moves his arms a little to keep a float, and then tries to hit the new illusion with his chain again.
@Karin😈Ell 56/59: 1d6 + 1d5 = (3)+(1) = 4
1d15 Tiny hunter man counter to Elliott = (9) = 9
Elliott splashes the water annoyed.
Jesús gets out of the pool, still all clothes wet. "Aw, aren't we having fun! I'm having so much fun! Being with friends, solving riddles, not having to change anything about ourselves, not hurting anyone on the process wOAH! Isn't it so great? Who would want to lose all that am I right? But let's go for the next riddle! You can swallow me, but I can consume you too. What a-"
Santana interrupts him. "Pride." She is too annoyed already. "Ha, promises, secrets and pride." She says, coldly. "I'm not having fun. In fact, I think you are really boring." She tells her fake uncle. "Now, Elliott, my my, you got some new moves! Those are really cool, I hope to train more agaisnt them someday" She says, starting to ignore Jesús and focusing on the rest. "And you cherubin, what a cutie, healing and being scared of a little gun shield. Aw, adorable. Santana will kick your ass other day." She says, blowing a kiss to them and getting out of the room before exploting on everything going on, but still putting a bitchy smile on her face. "Bye bye!"
Joe is actually sort of flattered when he’s called cute. Even though he is not a cherub. “Um, goodbye?” He looks at Jesús, and then at the demon. “This school is...” confusing, “interesting.” Yesh flies back into his pocket, and Joe gives him a soft brush. “I’ll, um, be here if you need me. May the Lord forgive us.”
Elliott, still in the water, looks at Santana as she goes "Would be a pleasure" he smirks in response. Then gets out of the pool as Ziggy goes back to her snake form. All his clothes are wet. He waves at Jesús "Was nice too see you, I'm sorry I'm bad at riddles" he chuckles, he then looks at Joe and goes pass him without directing any words to the angel.

Part 19: Passing of the Torch
In this part, we fight the optional bosses, Nentou and Bunchu. They are hard.
If you don’t know what this is about, please refer to this previous post.
[Any new comments by me will be designated by brackets.]
I'm only going to bother with upgrading attacks for Soushou and Tensho at this stage because they're the ones I'm going to use for the final boss.
To increase Tensho's weapon from level 3 to 4, just use this combo:
And after that, talk to Taiitsu and have him upgrade your weapon again. He'll do it automatically this time! And for free! (Choose the first option when given the chance.)
Five stars! Hooray!
Now Soushou's turn:
Level 2 to 3:
Level 3 to 4:
Yeah... It's the same combo for both. (If you look back at the level 1 to 2 combo, it's also the same... Convenient!) Unfortunately, Taiitsu can't increase it any higher.
I think at this point, you can visit Nentou (up in Taijou Roukun’s village) with Soushou in your party, and actually fight Nentou--with Soushou alone. Beware, as Nentou is HARD. He will use a lot of powerful attacks and support moves.
The best strategy I've found is to get all of Soushou's moves up to level four, with his level in the late 50s to early 60s. When you face Nentou, don't bother using Soushou's special move; just use his standard attack. Save all of Soushou’s EP for healing. Unfortunately, Soushou is slower than Nentou, taking away the "first hit" advantage.
Also, Soushou's healing move only heals about 1600-1700 HP. Nentou tends to deal out 2000+ HP damage... NORMALLY. This is mostly due to how much Nentou abuses--er, I mean, uses stat-boosting moves. There are two that he tends to use the most: a move that boosts his defense, and a move that boosts his attack. His special can do a hefty 2000 HP already (if you're lucky, it'll only do around 1500), so with an attack boost, he can sometimes hit you for 3000+ damage. Ouch.
So yeah, count on healing A LOT if your HP drops to the 3000-4000 range. Sounds like I'm being really cautious, but there's a reason for that. If you start skimping on the healing, you will die very, very quickly; because Nentou usually doesn't give you a second chance to heal. Also, there are times when he can cancel out your attacks. Luckily, it doesn't take away any EP if you've used a move that requires EP. Also, it doesn't let HIM attack either. But it's still pretty annoying as it tends to make this battle a lot longer than it has to be.
This is definitely one of the longer and tougher boss battles of the game, and it doesn't help that Nentou himself can heal (though only for a meager 1000 HP). It really is a battle of endurance and attrition. Just be patient, keep at it, and lo and behold, you've defeated Nentou!
For all that trouble, Nentou teaches Soushou some kind of final technique... which increases Soushou’s special to five stars! Hooray!
Now, for Bunchu... Yes, you can fight him too, with Cho Kei and his wife, Kouranei. So making an exception, here are the combos to upgrade their paopei/attacks:
Cho Kei:
Lvl 1 to 2:
Lvl 2 to 3:
Lvl 3 to 4:
Lvl 4 to 5: Talk to Taiitsu again.
Kouranei:
Lvl 1 to 2:
Lvl 2 to 3:
Lvl 3 to 4:
Lvl 4 to 5: Talk to Taiitsu again.
Anyway, you're going to have to level up Cho Kei and Kouranei if you even want to have a chance of winning. Bunchu is tough. Unfortunately, it doesn't help that Cho Kei and Kouranei know absolutely no healing moves. It also doesn't help that leveling them up is a huge pain in the behind because of their lack of pure offensive moves.
If you want to level them up efficiently, then go to the Houshindai and find the level where Raishinshi's brother Hakuyuukou resides. Just keep going down right as far as you can using the trains. At one of the "dead ends" (where you can't go right anymore), then that should be where Hakuyuukou lives. It's one of the levels above Bunchu’s old residence, if I remember correctly. Anyway, just go down the stairs there, and train near the red warp point. That way, you can level up, and heal quickly when your team's HP gets low (using Hakuyuukou).
After much trial-and-error, I have found a somewhat decent strategy for beating Bunchu.
Before you fight him, Cho Kei, Kouranei, and Bunchu gain their most powerful moves/specials. It's recommended that you have Cho Kei's and Kouranei's levels be in the late 50s-early 60s, though the higher the level, the better. If you've maxed out the level on Cho Kei's paopei, spam his standard. It will do WAY more damage than his newly gained special attack. However, you'll want to spam Kouranei's newly awakened special, because if it critical hits, it can do around 3000 damage to Bunchu. Also, BRING LOTS OF HEALING ITEMS. Before, I thought that you couldn't heal senin with potions, but there's actually an item that you can heal them with... Which are these things:
You get these in chests, or by making Dokouson's master transform them (remember? Part 11a). To get the base form in the first place, you can buy them from one of the senins in Kongrong, if you have the right currency. But for the rest of us, then you'll have to either buy them from Roushi's place (the shop there sells them) or traverse alllll the way down to the vending machines in the final dungeon. One of the vending machines will sell them, for a mere 600 money, if I remember right.
...Yeah, just go get them from Roushi's place. It saves a lot of trouble and frustration. It's a really good idea to go ahead and upgrade them to the 2000 HP healing kind, even if it means losing the 100 EP restoration effect. With the damage Bunchu deals, it's better to worry about HP first, EP later.
Anyway, back to defeating Bunchu. Although he can't heal himself, he's still annoying because his riding beast Kokukirin will sometimes block your attacks. So like the Nentou battle, this one rides on a lot of luck. Just spam the above mentioned attacks, heal when you can, and pray that you'll land a lot of critical hits/not get too badly hurt.
After you get his exp low enough, Bunchu will "transform" into his more powerful form. Don't relax yet, because while he's almost close to defeat, he's even MORE powerful in this form. And faster, too. (In my playthrough, whenever he entered this mode, he became faster than Cho Kei... though luckily Kouranei was still the fastest.)
At this point, heal one more time, and just go all-out on him, because chances are, you won't have the time to heal anymore. Keeping Kouranei alive is your top priority though, as she'll always attack first, giving you an advantage. In this stage, Bunchu will almost always abuse his special, which can cause upwards of 4000 HP of damage! That's pretty much the amount of HP Cho Kei and Kouranei have! If you're lucky (luck again...) Kouranei will be able to dodge enough of Bunchu's attacks and finish him off. FINALLY.
Truthfully, I had to let Cho Kei get knocked out in this battle... His wife was the one who finally defeated Bunchu after evading like three of his attacks in a row.
[In case you’re wondering how many times I had to fight Bunchu before I actually beat him... it was over 20 times. OVER TWENTY TIMES]
After that nightmare, what do you get? Well, you get to keep the specials for Cho Kei, Kouranei, and Bunchu, of course!
Anyway, the new specials:
Cho Kei's special allows him to throw a huge boulder at one enemy and costs 40 EP. It's not that great, actually.
Kouranei's special (costing 50 EP) allows her to... shoot? Throw? many needles (the Taiyoushin) at the enemy. It hits all enemies on screen, and does a pretty decent amount of damage.
Bunchu's newly gained special move allows him “transform” into super mode. It costs 99 EP, sends all his stats through the roof, and makes his (original) special attack do tons more damage.
[We’ll be finishing up the last of the side-quests I’ve found in the next part. See you then.]
To be continued.

I really need to talk about Diangelion and how Manic Demon Form still sucks after 2 years yet they’re still trying to push it. I mean, I gotta applaud KoG for their persistence, but nothing they’ve done has fixed Manic Demon Form enough to make it worth using for the average player.
Manic Demon Form is a good concept, but it should be treated like other things similar to it (Chung’s Berserk Mode, Ara’s Eun Mode, Aisha’s Magical-Make-Up/My Magical Debut, Ain’s Spiritualism). I feel that to make Manic Demon Form viable, both forms should be tied to a single skill (preferably Altar of Evil or an entirely new skill as tying them to Transcendence would cause confusion when discussed). Since it should feel similar to Berserk, Eun, Spiritualism, and Magical Make-Up it loses the “glorified mount” execution and you’re free to use any skill you have equipped. However, to make it feel unique from similar skills, it keeps the command changes so you’re trading the ability to perform Combination Assaults for more power.
“But... Manic Demon Form doesn’t buff you by it-”
Be patient. I’m getting there. Ahem...
Since it’s being treated like every other transformation, its Super Armor is removed and you only gain Super Armor when holding the final X in Lu’s or Ciel’s XXX[X]. You also lose the ability to cancel Manic Demon Form at will. Since both Manic Demon Forms are now combined into one skill, you gain the ability to gain Combination Points and can use CP skills while in Manic Demon Form. However, you cannot refresh Altar of Evil while it’s still active. You need to wait until it’s run its course before using it again. The initial duration is still the same (30 seconds in PVE, 15 seconds in PVP). It keeps Killing Blow (1), but Haste is changed to Killing Blow (2). I also wouldn’t argue with giving Manic Demon Form the ability to air dash for a short distance as Lu and Ciel are unlocking their full strength, but that may be a tad too much.
Since there are a few drawbacks to using Manic Demon Form, you gain some buffs while Altar of Evil is active to make up for it:
+20% to Physical Attack (as a result, Bloodlust’s Attack Increase is reduced to 10% and raises to 15% upon Final Enhancement)
+10% to Attack Speed
+5% MP Gain When Attacking
“But wait... Altar of Evil is a lvl 35 skill and Ciel isn’t really corrupted then.”
Move Altar of Evil to the locked lvl 45 slot.
“But what’ll take Altar’s place?”
Mortal Fear. Make it a CP skill. Buff its damage to 1,512% + 1,123 * 4 (6,004% total) so it’s on par with other Bravery-tier skills. It retains the ability to increase the damage enemies take by 20% for 10 seconds. DiA’s skill damages are fairly low and with the proposed changes to Altar and Bloodlust there’s not going to be much difference attack-wise so I feel it retaining the damage increase to enemies is fair. Mortal Fear gains the attributes Gigantic vs Empowered. Its Final Enhancement should be something along the lines of increasing the damage enemies take by 20% for 10 seconds -> increasing the damage enemies take by 20% for 15 seconds.
I chose Mortal Fear over Dark Plasma/Shrewd Cutter as I don’t see the need to have two extremely similar skills. Since Dark Plasma’s deleted in this scenario, Abyss Extinction’s range is increased to be on par with Dark Plasma, maybe even a bit better.
“But what about the passives that were made to buff Manic Demon Form?”
Manic Demon Form - Destruction is primarily fine as is. Just change the Madness Skill Cooldown Time Decrease (per enemy killed) to effect all skill-tiers and reduce the 12% at max level to 4% or remove it altogether. True Demon is fine as I imagine this changed Altar of Evil to still have the Speed drawbacks. Codex Gigas, however:
Madness Skill Damage +30% -> Strength Skill Damage +15%
Cooldowns (with the exception of HA, Couple, and Bravery) are decreased by 20%
Manic Demon Form lasts for an additional 10 seconds
Loses the ability to use skills mid-air
I don’t think I missed anything important so thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Anti Bakura - REDUX
The most economical of all my anti- decks so far, and it's coming back around to Dark “Bakura”. This deck can be used against Bakura at Any Level, and has reigned undefeated every time I've broken it out against him. All the way up to LVL 40!! (I haven’t been able to test 50 yet)
Some of these cards may look hard to get ahold of, but don't worry! A lot of them are easily interchangeable, and I’ll be covering a few options in the list.
Keep reading for a list of each card, what it does, and what it's there for, below.
Unlike the Anti Burger Deck, there aren’t many “strategies” in this one, per se. Except, of course, hit hard and hit fast before Bakura can get his pieces together.
And also- eliminating Dark Necrofear from the graveyard FAST. In my personal experience, Dark Necrofear was really only a problem for me when dueling Bakura at LVL 40, because that’s when he activates his Destiny Board skill. I actually didn’t know there was a Dark Necrofear in his deck below LVL 40 until someone told me. So, theoretically, the odds may be on your side there, and it’s just not too often that he summons it at LVL 30 and below. However- every duel is different, and not everyone in my duelist sample pool was that lucky every time, so I wouldn’t count on it. Because of that, I included some tips and workarounds in case Bakura SUMMONS Dark Necrofear.
Lastly, as I said before, it’s totally okay if you don’t have all of these cards. A sizable portion of them can be safely traded out (to accommodate your playing style and preferred card type, I’m just a fiend/spellcaster girl) without changing much of how it works.
Here we go!
- CARD LIST -
Sphere Kuriboh - By sending this card from your hand to the graveyard, you can stop one (but only one!) attack from your opponent that turn, and put the attacking monster in DEF position. This is really helpful if you need a turn or so to get a stronger monster on the field than you’ve already got, or if the monster is just easier to take out while in def than in atk. It has the unique added benefit of being used as a ritual tribute from the graveyard, but other than that the Main effect of this card can be found in a few others. Windstorm of Etaqua (a Trap) changes the battle positions of all face-up monsters your opponent controls, and Enemy Controller (a quick-play spell) gives you two effects to choose from: 1.) Target one face-up monster of your opponent’s and change it’s battle position, or 2.) tribute one monster, then take control of one of your opponent’s monsters until the end phase. As a third variant option (which an anon helpfully pointed out) you can also replace Sphere Kuriboh with Security Orb. Which, when your opponent declares an attack, can change the battle position of your opponent’s attacking monster. Also, if this card is destroyed while face down, you can destroy one monster on the field. Handy!
Chaos Command Magician - This lovely magician has a built-in defense against monster effects, stopping any that would effect them specifically. This would be highly effective as a tool against Dark Necrofear’s effect, which allows her to control one of your monsters. Of course, you can do the same think with an equip card like Wicked-Breaking Flamberg - Baou, or any other card that will disrupt an effect. So, as much as I love this card, it’s one of the many in this deck that can probably be changed out in accordance with your preferred monster type and what you have available. Any Single Tribute monster with a comparable atk and def of 2400/1900 will work, just keep in mind you won’t have that handy effect too.
Quick note: Dark Necrofear counts as a Spell Card when using the effect that controls your monster, so any cards you have for removing spells would be helpful for you too, but then you Really need to be able to sustain against any attacks until you can get rid of it. Consider Enchanted Javelin, Nutrient Z, Golden Apples, etc. to keep yourself alive.
Flamvell Grunika - At four stars and 1700/200 atk and def, this is a card I keep mostly for being a heavy hitter without any boosts necessary, so you can sub it out for anything comparable you have. However, it’s effect IS pretty handy. When it destroys a monster by battle (and sends it to the graveyard), your opponent takes damage equal the level of the monster destroyed x200.
Diskblade Rider - This is an Amazing card for anyone who uses Yami or leans toward fiends, but even on it’s own it’s worth taking a look at. It’s four stars and 1700/1500 atk and def, with an effect that lets you banish one Normal Trap Card from your graveyard to give this monster a 500 atk boost until the end of your OPPONENT’s turn. But, as another card not specifically meant to combat anything of Bakura’s, you can sub it out for another monster of comparable atk and def at that level pretty freely.
Pumprincess the Princess of Ghosts - I never leave home without her, to be honest. Instead of sending this card to the graveyard when it’s destroyed in battle, you can turn it into a spell card that will lower your opponent’s controlled monsters atk and def Every Turn by 100 points. And that stacks even if it’s a newly summoned monster. You get a similar effect from Wonder Balloons (Spell Card), with a drop in your opponent’s atk by 300 for every card you discard from your hand. But that does require you to discard cards, and it won’t change the def. If you’ve only got the Balloons, it’ll work. But, if you have both, go with the pumpkin.
Disenchanter - Mostly here for the atk and def (2000/2300), so if you need to you can sub them out. However, this is another one with a handy effect, so you might want to look into finding a card that can duplicate it in case you find yourself in the Dark Necrofear Is Now A Spell Card Ruining Your Life conundrum. Disenchanter, by removing 1 Spell Counter on the field, can destroy any face-up spell card on the field. Considering this deck has the possibility of THREE cards that will collect spell counters for you with minimal effort, it’s a pretty sweet deal.
Maiden of Macabre (x2) - This is one of those spell counter cards, and the way she collects them is pretty great- Destroying monsters! Every one she destroys nets her a spell counter, and every spell counter nets her 200 atk points. It’s worth noting that if you have any cards that give/transfer spell counters (like the spellcaster/effect monster Skilled Red Magician), you can give them to her and she gains the atk points just the same as if she battled for them. Obviously a handy effect, but if you don’t have her, you can sub her out with anything comparable at this level. If you need to, she’s another 1700 atk monster (0 def).
Dharc the Dark Charmer (x2) - Bakura does not like to diversify his catalogue, choosing only Dark element monsters. For the Aesthetic, I guess, which I can respect. This is also really helpful for us, as it means we only need one kind of Charmer to steal his monsters. Used in tandem with something like Mirror Wall, this is a great way to just go ahead and Steal his Dark Necrofear (should he manage to summon it) and eliminate any possible issues right off the bat. Of course, this means keeping Dharc on the field, so if you intend to rely on this strategy, I suggest an equip card that will boost Dharc’s def points.
Summoned Skull - At a whopping 2500 atk, this is a five star monster that really packs a punch. If you have another card that’s comparable at this level, you can sub it no problem. Summoned Skull has no effect, it’s just really cool.
Great Angus - 1800 atk at four stars is pretty valuable, but it’s another one with no effect. Sub if you have to!
Neo the Magic Swordsman - Yet another card with 1700 atk. I use it because it’s a Spellcaster, but like the other normal Fiends/Spellcasters in this deck, feel free to sub it out for whatever is comparable but suits your style.
Whiptail Crow (x2) - These have higher defense than the others, and that’s largely what I wind up using them for- their def points. So if you’re subbing these too, look for ones that’ll give you a pretty healthy defensive wall. (For fellow Fiend Friends, the Gross Ghost or Headless Knight are both great for this, with 100-200 more def points each than the Crow, just at the cost of atk points)
Wicked-Breaking Flamberg - Baou - By discarding one card, you can equip this to a monster to give them 500 more atk points, as well as cancel the effect of any monster destroyed with the use of this card. If you don’t have it, sub in whatever comparable equip cards you have, but if you Can try and make a pull for it- do it. It’s a really invaluable card.
Gravity Axe - Grarl - Another 500 atk boost! This time, with no discard necessary. The effect on this one is different, keeping your opponent from changing their battle positions. It’s good, but it’s not irreplaceable. Sub it if you need to and you probably won’t notice the difference.
Gravedigger Ghoul - Target up to two monsters in your opponent’s graveyard, and banish them. This is Super Super Important. Because at LVL 40, Bakura activates Destiny Board of Doom, which means a new FINAL letter every turn until you get Dark Necrofear out of Bakura’s graveyard. Like I said, this is honestly the only time Dark Necrofear gave me any trouble while dueling Bakura at any level, but even so- with this deck, I’ve always either beaten Bakura before the final (hah) letter, or pulled Gravedigger Ghoul soon enough that I didn’t need to worry about it. The balance is just really on with this ratio. If you Don’t Have Gravedigger Ghoul, find a card to substitute. Anything that will Banish that card from the graveyard will do, but if you don’t banish Dark Necrofear you have to focus on dropping Bakura’s LP down to 0 fast, really fast. As a possible substitute, Disappear (a Trap card) will remove any 1 card from your opponent’s graveyard and kick it out of play, so just poke around your collection for options if you need to.
Mirror Wall - Cuts every one of your opponent’s attacking monsters atk In Half for as long as the card remains on the field. The first time is free, but every turn after that is 2000 LP, so be smart with it.
Adhesion Trap Hole - When your opponent summons a monster (as in face-up attack position), cut it’s attack in half permanently.
Shield Spear - Add 400 atk and def to any monster on the field till the end of the turn.
If you have any questions for where to get cards, or suggestions for possible substitute cards, hit me up in my ask box!
Happy dueling!!

Q&A #43
I hope you’re all sitting comfortably as this is a long ‘un and a half.
Anonymous: anon with the ooze merc problem, it was on the 0.75 release which i no longer have on my comp so can't check the save file to see the exact specifics, but i believe it was the end of the third month or start of the 4th, not sure on the merc status before the issue cause i didn't check it. slaves was around 7-9 and slavers was about 13 i believe.
Thanks for the supporting info!
Anonymous: "That should only happen with the planning Nightly Activity where you leave orders or if you’re doing slave training so you’re still in the encampment. On the first you definitely shouldn’t be able to talk to slavers though." Got it. I was using the Planning activity; when it works, doing so does allow me to talk to Slavers, despite being someplace like Aversol. Something to be fixed in the next patch, I suppose?
Yeah the talking to thing definitely needs to be fixed if that’s happening.
Anonymous: So with the changes to Hardcore, what are all the effects playing on that difficulty has now?
Reduced starting gold and supplies, having disaster traits are more punishing, slavers will be more vulnerable and as more are lost will impose a stacking morale penalty, but you will also have a bonus to obtaining critical results on assignments.
Anonymous: Two things I've noticed. Orc Cum Addict Training is always available in the list, regardless of whether you have orc slavers or not. Also, the "Cancel" option when looking at an assignment (before assigning slavers) doesn't work. The only was to cancel an assignment is to select the "Slaver" option to have it auto cancel on "You have not selected a valid target for this assignment."
You can do that training without orcs around either by having shakko or by outsourcing so that’s intended. The cancel option not working is due to me needing to work around RAGS and that is explained in game along with giving that way to cancel.
Anonymous: [Please can you give me some more info to go on so I can work out what happened. Were you playing a scenario, did you have any sneaky slavers and/or hired mercenaries, how many items had your smith and/or seamstress crafted and when did the message come up?] got c:Ap slutty from a starting slaver put them on the role got a crit success on shark of cards "inventory full" went to check clothing inventory game crashed, entirely new round (normal draki slaver) inventory was full again but 0 items in
On looking at that there was very much an issue with the shark of the cards crit. Entirely reworked it for the next update along with the similar result with Brief Foray which should take care of that.
Anonymous: [imgur] /a/26G0i sent 4 golems to hold back the dark, mission disappeared from active assignments, 1 golem disappeared from the visible list, other 3 joined 1 gobbo and inscouting the mountains as a 4 stack, only gobbo comes back, golems still count as existing but can no longer be selected, finish day/assignments etc don't return golems to visible roster.
Ah that looks like the assignment count has got confused in a rather nasty fashion. If you’ve still got the save could you let me know which assignments you’d done/finished in say the last seven days from before that happened and if you cancelled any of them specifically after selecting them.
Anonymous: When starting a new game, it displays the last two paragraphs twice. Just thoight you should know of this little annoyance
I’m not seeing it? Could you let me know what options you’re selecting for that to happen.
Anonymous: imgur /a/idSEZ that doesn't seem possible.
That is does not. Which assignment was that?
Anonymous: 0.7501 no haven: camp level ups don't "stack" if 2 things level while PC is away only 1 level up is available.
Good spot, and will fix.
Anonymous: imgur /a/Z9BrS
Cheers for the spot and fixed.
Anonymous: hey there, good work on the level up aspects, guess my were-ooze is going to be a real monster...but are all aspects working like they should be? as example i see breaker in slaving assignments but writhe and squirm bonustraits do not appear if i start a corresponding quest that needs for example brutal or seductive. trader/monger aspects do not appear after successful trading runs, and it would be helpful if there are more requirements for aspects, like *only for expert and above" more max lvl for slavers in the future? also wheres the legendary demi-angel-ooze (art)? will you try to split up more races like you did with the harpies? for example more drider? any hints on what race you will implement next and an eta?
Thank you! I’ll check those ones out. Way I see it you’re still limited to three total at max level and it makes inexperienced slavers a lot more interesting. Demi-angel ooze art while a deeply amusing concept is low priority currently. Possibly on the split up races? I’m trying not to add new races at the moment as while a great deal of fun to do I really should flesh out the base game more and give races that already exist their own assignments first.
Saying that I do have quite a few races planned in my notes/with collected art, some of which there are references to in the lore examines for other races, and that’s not counting the planned advanced races like minotaurs, dryads, and incubi among others all of which will drastically alter gameplay for both yourself and your other slavers just by having one of them around.
Anonymous: imgur /a/6dTWO
Assuming I’m following that correctly Namore got bronze collared but still had the corruption option? Will check into it.
Anonymous: 0.7501: after some runs on scour the dockside for new talents the assignment disapeared at all, a month and several scoutings later its still not in the list :/
Ah, now that’s not at all good, and I’m wondering if it’s related to the rare reports of supply run vanishing. If people see that happening I’d really appreciate as with the assignment count a list of started/completed assignments prior to it happening going back at least seven days along with specifying if you started any and then cancelled them.
fieltor: [BUG] No Haven 0.7501 : "Assigments Overview => All active assigments" doesn't show training assigment since it's not in any area, so we can't see how many days are left for training and when they will be back for mission. PS : Love the new lvl up update
Very fair point and will change that. Thanks!
fieltor: [BUG] No Haven 0.7501 : On level up i got 4 options for leveling my slaver but when i choose "View choices" i got that : "Level Up optionsTrait: Sneaky (Sne)Trait: Follower (Fol)Trait: Cooperative (Coo)Aspect: Breaker - Small bonus to any Slaving assignment they are present on. Aspect: Breaker - Small bonus to any Slaving assignment they are present on. Aspect: Breaker - Small bonus to any Slaving assignment they are present on. Aspect: Breaker - Small bonus to any Slaving assignment they ..."
fieltor: [BUG] NoHaven 0.7501 : Follow up on previous bug, choose Aspect: Breaker for my slaver and when i examine her it says : "Aspect: Breaker (Small bonus to any [Type] assignment they are present on.)" where "[Type]" should be Slaving based on the level up info.
Yeah I attempted to fix an issue with Breaker too fast prior to the hotfix and ended up breaking it further will sort.
Anonymous: I noticed that in 0.7501 Slaver can get hungover if you apply the nighttimes activity, which causes them to not be considered as choices by the suggestion system, however you can still send them without any kind of penalty to the mission's success. Also the Ample Distractions asignment does not seem to have any consequences on a disaster, even though it seems like it should remove the slavers in question. Lastly there is a typo in the Keldan Ally introductory sequence "when they" is repeated.
Ah yeah, see what I did there cheers. Huh, I mean you might have got lucky but will check. Also thanks for the typo find.
fieltor: [BUG-Minor?] NoHaven 0.7501 : Description on level up choice : "Aspect: Scavenger - Small bonus to any Defending assignment they are present on." I assume it should be Scavenging instead of Defending.
Yeah, it should. Thanks for pointing it out that.
Anonymous: Are there plans for more extreme content like bestiality, tentacles or lolis? If not, are they out of question, or just not priority?
There’s a whole bunch of tentacle variety in the game already though specific sex text, training and assignments while planned aren’t in there yet.
Bestiality... My first instinct is to say a very hard no, but after consideration there might be some reeeeeally fringe cases like, with the related to the previous point, tentacle beasts which are already in Whorelock’s and possible other monsters.
Last one absolutely not.
Anonymous: When I'm asssinging slaver to encampment role it says that Greedy (Gre) is preferable trait for Quartermaster, Master-of-Coin but at the same time it's undesirable trait. How could it be? :D
It can be! Basic upshot is that they’re much more likely to say yes and be happy while doing it, but they’re also more likely to rob you when they think they can get away with it.
Anonymous: Could you please make it so Shun The Other and the gender-specific miscs have a 100% success rate?
Not planning to as I think it’s more interesting as it is currently and it takes a bit of the possible power of it.

Top 5 super moves in fighting games!
this is a hard one, mmmm if I had to choose in no particular order1 - Cerebella’s Ultimate ShowStopperNever has a super grab felt this good to me, not only does it do a ver good amount of damage, it is ranged instead of being something that forces you to be at point blank, you can cancel it to get a combo and a possible reset instead of damage, you can dhc into so many stuff is crazy how much damage you can get from your opponent being careless, and the fact that you can cancel it out of armored moves just makes it real good.2 - Phoenx Wright’s LVL 3 in UMVC3Fullscreen super that does such a high amount of damage and is also goofy af, I love it.3- Dan’s super TauntFor obvious reasons, also for the fact that you can actually cancel into your ultra in SFIV which made it for an stylish bait
4-Yuki and Ai’s double assaultthey literally turn into Atomic Guy from King of the monsters, their chars by themselves may be kinda eh but this alone makes it up for me tbh
5- Bridget’s Me and my Killing MachineThis one is simple, I just really like the pressure it does and how much it gets you from a tigh spot and with good enough positioning you can do some really good improvised combos

Dance Cafe FINAL DRAFT -2020
- So. This is the script for a short film I wrote for Dance Cafe, presented by DOTE 2020. It will premiere on July 4, 2020. I’m very excited about it. I want to start writing scripts more often. And start to get involved with television writing, or just writing in general. This was made in collaboration with Jon Keriluk, Colin Kushniruk, Ilenna Cheladyn, And Daria Mikalyuk. Lots of Eastern European power here... Feels very fitting.
SCENE 1 - UPSTAIRS ARRIVAL
*we see a fan spinning. After zooming out it appears to be a ceiling fan. The camera starts to move closer to the fan, as we move higher to its nose, then it starts sliding down. It steeply rotates to face downwards and descends upon a person eating sunflowers. We see the top of their head approaching and finally it settles on a pile of seeds. The camera finally rotates horizontal again. *
Close up shot of NPC’s mouth eating sunflower seeds. Their fingernails are bleeding, they are eating furiously. Sipping coffee at times. Shaking. *music escalates until it hits a point of plateau* [1:05]
NPC bites their finger instead of the sunflower seeds, starts bleeding. Camera shakes free of tight close up and is seen to be higher than the person in the chair. Reveal that the camera is a person.
“Aw fuck. OOOHHHH Fuck - Fuck ah. I’m fucking bleeding. Shit shit shit. where did you come from?Grab me, grab me a bandaid will you? ….Sneaky bastard, fuck...”
We see a hand emerge from behind the camera. We walk over to a grey bin, shuffle through some paraphernalia and find a bandaid. Close the lid of the bin and head back over to the sunflower seed cripple.
The POV makes their way back to the NPC and holds the bandaid out to the person. POV stands, waiting. NPC is staring at hands, oblivious. POV takes a step left. Nothing. Takes a step forward. NPC activates.
NPC snatches the bandaid from the hand and proceeds to put the bandaid on. Fussing and fumbling with it. The POV tries to help, a hand reaching out to help, but the NPC swats them away but their swat lands about a foot in the wrong direction.
“I don't remember asking you for help.”
The NPC finishes putting on the bandaid. Sips a resigned sip of drink, and looks at the POV.
“How did you get back so soon? Weren’t you just here?... huh. It was that quick of a job then hey? Well… you must be up for a bigger challenge huh? Bigger fish to fry, bigger shoes to fill! You won’t be needing me in the room anymore then hey sport? I might be the next one you have to ship off - ”
*laughs* ah, I’m just messing with you. You don’t know shit - let's head down.”
The NPC gestures and starts to get up. The crutches are held in their arms as they limp towards the POV. The POV camera watches as they get up.
“Grab my drink will you?” [2:03]
The POV goes past the NPC. Hand reaches out, to grab the drink, to look inside to see nothing. There was no drink. They tip the mug but, there’s nothing. It’s empty. It’s a confusing moment for the POV. Where is the drink if there is none, and what was the NPC drinking?
*from the basement*
“What do you mean ‘it never arrived’?”
The POV turns to hear this call from the staircase. They look back at the cup, but then proceed to the basement, cup in hand.
SCENE 2 - basement monologue
The POC makes it to the end of the stairs, but hears the NPC talking into the phone. The POV peaks around the corner to watch.***
“Yes, I know… You don't have to worry about that. I have everything under control - what do you mean by Thursday? Of course Thursday is fine, they are here - they got here today -they are fine, they are under control, they are under MY control. I have it under Control… Alright… fuck you too. By 5?.... Make it 6. Yes. 6… Good.”
The NPC hangs up and shakes their head, throwing the phone onto the table. It makes a loud snap, and POV takes that opening and enters. NPC, stands still. Eyes closed. POV comes closer to the NPC. looking at the phone. The phone is receiving a call but the NPC does not pick up. POV is still on the phone as the call is dropped. POV looks back up at the NPC. NPC is looking right at the POV.
“Sit down Thursday.”
NPC gestures to a couch. POV moves to sit down.
“... You have no idea do you...This hasn’t been easy. You really haven’t made this easy… Do you know how many phone calls I’ve gotten today? Hm?... of course you wouldn’t know. You’re still the new kid.”
NPC grabs the phone on the desk and proceeds to scroll through. They land on a voice message. And presses play. A voice begins and says -
“We have received word from Wednesday that Tuesday’s shipment was cancelled. But, the arrival of Thursday’s shipment hasn’t arrived yet either. Weekday, you have 24hrs to fix this mess. Where. Are. The. Packages.”
The line cuts out.
The NPC places the phone onto the table, they take a seat, and sigh. They look at the POV. And hold their hand out.
“Give me my drink.”
There is a vacant look in their eyes as the POV takes a moment to register this. They look down into the cup, there is still no liquid in it, they look back up at the NPC. Unblinking unmoving. Frozen. The POV has a moment of stillness before handing the mug over.
The NPC finally moves, breaking form, and grabbing the mug out of POV’s hands quite forcefully. The NPC cradles the mug as if there were hot liquid in it, and sips accordingly, closes their eyes and sighs.
“This is a bloody mess. Really. Truly. A fucking bloody mess. Tuesday’s been missing since Tuesday, and at this point locked up who knows where. I bet April fucking got to them again, just all of that chatter about finding February’s 29th... Wednesday’s in full damage control and probably dug in someplace lying low till this all just washes over. Fuck - she’s probably drinking herself to death. And, I suspect the Twins have the operations under siege until this in-fighting subsides. Well, ‘if’ it ever subsides… So. What are we gonna do, hm?... Tuesday’s a coward, Wednesday is wasting away in drink, and The Twin’s might finally destroy each other, And you… You… The things you’ve done Thursday… ”
The NPC looks into their cup and finishes the drink
“I’ve seen a lot, being your Weekday.”
There is a pointed glare from the NPC to the POV. The NPC shoves the mug into the POV’s chest.
“Fill up my drink one last time, and get the fuck out of my house.”
The NPC goes to sit and to scroll through their phone. POV mug in hand, gets up. The NPC has one last thing to say. POV wanders back, then returns to the NPC. NPC then says any order of these lines. And will repeat these lines.
“I’d wish you good luck, but I’d be lying.”
OR
“You’re no better than the rest of them, and you’ll pay for it. Your kind always does.”
OR
“I don't like what you’ve become. Soft, Squishy. You’re no better than these traitors.”
OR
“I’m warning you Thursday. Get out of my fucking house. Do not make me angry.”
[4:20]
POV finally stops walking by the NPC to generate dialogue, and they back up to the stairs. POV turns to look back at the NPC.
The NPC sighs, and opens up the phone to another voicemail - this time it’s in another language and the voice is angry. POV leaves to go up stairs to fill up the mug.
POV makes their way back up the stairs. And goes to the sink. They look into the mug, flip it upside down, right side up, place the mug down and then turn on the tap. There is running water. They fill up the mug until it overflows spilling on their hand. They do not react and they just proceed to empty the mug out a little bit, place it down, turn off the tap and walk towards the stairs.
As they turn, the POV sees the sunflower seeds on the table. The pile of seeds is HUGE. There is finally a moment for the camera to take in how many seeds there are. Then, they notice a piece of paper they did not see before. An image of a faceless person is on the sheet, and a bounty for their head is listed. [4:49]
“WANTED: FOR CRIMES AGAINST THE SOVEREIGN. BOUNTY LVL 5.3 - SUSPECT IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS DO-NOT APPROACH WITHOUT WEAPON. IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO A WEAPON, PROCEED WITH CAUTION. BOUNTY IS PRONE TO VIOLENCE AT SUDDEN NOTICE. OFFENSES INCLUDE MANSLAUGHTER 1,4,&9. CASTRATION. ARSON. TREASON. DO-NOT ATTEMPT TO DIALOGUE. DO-NOT CALL S.P.S WITHOUT BEING IN DANGER OF LOSING LIMB. S.P.S. DOES NOT HOLD RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OF LIFE DURING CITIZEN ARRESTS...”
The rest of the print is too fine detailed to read.
The POV picks up a pen nearby, and draws in the features on the wanted poster of someone familiar. They are drawing Weekday.
*from the basement*
“What do you mean ‘it never arrived’?”
The POV turns to hear this call from the staircase. They put the pen down, grab the cup, and then proceed to the basement.
SCENE 3 - final scene
[5:30]
The POV makes their way down the stairs. They hear the exact same dialogue as the last time they came down.
“...Yes, I know… You don't have to worry about that. I have everything under control - what do you mean by Thursday? Of course Thursday is fine, they are fine, they are here - they arrive today - they are under control, they are under MY control. I have it under Control… Alright… Fuck you too. By 5?.... Make it 6. Yes. 6… Good.”
The NPC hangs up, and throws the phone on the table with a *snap*. The POV enters, but with more uncertainty. Emerging from the staircase, there are mugs littered everywhere. On the carpet, on the table, on the couch. Glasses piled high and low. Something isn’t right. They look up at the NPC who has moved closer to them than the last time this scenario played out. They bump into the POV and say-
“Sit down Thursday.”
Exactly as before, the NPC gestures to a couch. The POV moves to sit down, but slower and more wary of all the empty glasses littered around.
“You really have no idea do you. This, Hasn’t been easy. You really haven’t made this easy… Do you know how many phone calls I’ve gotten today? Hm?... of course you wouldn’t know. You’re still the new kid.”
NPC grabs the phone on the desk and proceeds to scroll through. They land on a voice message. And presses play. A voice begins and says - [6:10]
“We have received word from Wednesday that Tuesday’s shipment was cancelled. But, the arrival of Thursday’s shipment hasn’t arrived yet either- Thursday. You have to get out of there. The suit has been compromised. I repeat. The suit- ”
The line cuts out. The NPC’s thumb is on the hang up button. They suddenly direct their eyes at the POV. The NPC places the phone onto the table. They hold their hand out.
“Give me my drink.”
POV has a moment of recognition. They look at the phone, and scan the room, taking time to at all the empty mugs. Empty Mugs. Empty vessels. Shells of former days. You’re next.
“Can I have my drink now? Please?”
The POV’s attention is brought back to the NPC. This is not good. The POV looks down into the mug. The water they poured into the cup is there.
The POV hands the mug over, slowly and carefully. The NPC grabs the mug. The phone begins to ring again - Catching the POV off guard - this did not happen before. The NPC goes to drink - and spills water all over themselves.
They are visibility shocked. The water is causing them to short circuit. The phone goes to voicemail and a familiar voice emerges on the other side -
“Hello? Yes, I cannot hear you, there is some - interference with your end? No, I am not alone, but I am waiting for the shipment - I have been waiting for 3 days Weekday. 3 WHOLE DAYS. Do you know how many TV dinners I’ve eaten? Hm? I should castrate you the next time I see you, you vile asshole. Making me wait out here on this rock. It’s not even November, but November yelled at me for your mistakes! Are you listening to me? Hellooo? Are - Are you even there?? Am I just yelling to an open ended fucking line??? WHERE IS THE GODDAMN SHIPMENT YOU PIECE OF SHIT - “f
As the above voice note is playing - The POV stands up and makes a move to leave, but the NPC grabs them and knocks them down. There is a tussle, and the NPC is yelling -
“You’re no better than the rest-rest-rest-rest of them, and you’ll FUCKING pay for it. Your kind always does pay - Where is MY PAYMENT??”
OR
“I don't like what I’ve become. I’m no better than these traitors.”
OR
“I’m warning you Thursday. Get out of my FUUUUUCKING HOUUUUUUUUUSE. Don’t make me - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa -”
The POV manages to escape, running up the stairs and sees another WANTED poster on the door to exit. This was not there before. And in horror, the poster has the name “Thursday” blacked out on the front of the face printed.
A grunt is heard, as the POV falls to the ground with the NPC holding thier crutch as a weapon. They smile and walk away
Roll credits

[ Nocturne: Rebirth ] Brave Clear Guide 14 - Final Boss
The final boss and bonus boss are so complex that they actually get their own pages on Atwiki.
Khaos and Shylphiel
Brave Clear: Level 35
Location: Khaos’[s] World
HP: 4200 (Khaos), 1920 (Shylphiel, who joins Khaos when his health is knocked down to half)
Weakness: Barrier Change (Khaos), thunder (Shylphiel)
Resistance: Whatever he’s not weak against (Khaos), wind (Shylphiel)
Status Weakness: Poison (Shylphiel)
Reward: Apocalypse, a staff that open the dev room. This won’t show up in your inventory after you reload your save, but it’ll have an entry in the item glossary.
Active Skills:
Shylphiel’s skills are the same as before, minus the minion summoning and limit barrier.
Khaos
Flare Wings: Single target fire spell
Laevateinn: AOE fire spell. Triggers Dual Cast
Gale Claw: Single target wind spell, delay
Stormbringer: Linear AOE wind spell, delay. Triggers Dual Cast
Frost Arrow: Single target ice spell, interrupts casting
Collbrande: AOE ice spell, silence. Triggers Dual Cast.
Thunder Blade: Single target thunder spell. High crit rate.
Caladbolg: AOE thunder spell. High crit rate. Paralysis. Triggers Dual Cast.
Blood Javelin: Single target dark spell.
Tyrfing: Single target dark spell, curse. Triggers Dual Cast. Curse can be negated if the target has absolute dark resistance.
Luminous Axe: Single target light spell.
Claíomh Solais: AOE light spell. Triggers Dual Cast.
Meteor Swarm: Ultimate physical damage magic. Gold cast.
Calamity (< 20% HP): Ultimate physical damage magic like Meteor Swarm, but it’s even stronger to the point where it will kill anyone who isn’t at very high HP and is guarding.
Initialize: Inflicts full delay and cast cancel on all.
Overclock: Buff that gives Khaos a 50% chance at consecutive actions. Unlike Time Guardian, this buff is temporary
Elemental Raid: Changes weaknesses. Dark->ice->thunder->wind->fire->light->dark. However, his starting weakness is random.
Eye of Shadows: Deathblow against all units that don’t have a death resistance of 3
Laplace’s Demon: Greatly increases Khaos’s evasion rate. Only ultimate skills can hit him, but they won’t be able to crit. The effect goes away once Ristill joins your side.
Illusory Barrier (Casts when Shylphiel joins him): Constant effect where if one of the bosses is 500+ HP lower than the other, the one with higher HP will counter when their companion takes damage. The barrier can be broken with Eye of Souls.
Passive Skills:
Dual Cast: When casting advanced magic, there’s a chance Khaos’s weaker spell of the same element will follow.
Shylphiel has Sidewinder, Counter, and Mirage like before.
Notes:
Don’t be afraid to reset your levels.
Don’t bother trying to kill Khaos before he casts Laplace’s Demon. He’s immortal until Ristill joins you.
Give Ristill some wind resist gear when she joins
Speed Star formation helps with dealing with Khaos and Shylphiel’s speed, though using a formation that concentrates aggro on a single unit also works.
If you’re using the meatshield strategy, be sure to use Fortify Curse on the noble damage sponge.
I highly recommend getting Reviel’s Dark Element to level 2, which is enough to negate Tyrfing. Luna will need Dark Element lvl 3 to max her resistance of course.
Everyone needs deathblow resistance. If you have Hades Amulet on a character, then they only need Death Guard at level 1.
Reverse Cross is a great accessory for resisting multiple elements at once.
If you have two Reverse Crosses on a character and you can see which element Khaos is about to cast, you can equip an armor that is resistant to that element so that the character can completely negate the damage.
Forget about using spells against Khaos, since it’s too much trouble to figure out his current weakness. Instead, focus on landing physical crits.
However, you may want some thunder skills to deal with Shylphiel
Khaos’s Illusory Barrier can be broken by casting Eye of Souls. Doing so will stun him, even during his ultimate spell cast. You’ll hear the barrier breaking sound effect once this happens. I don’t think there’s any other way to stun him though.
Note that Eye of Illusion doesn’t include poison, so if you want to poison Shylphiel, you’ll need to learn Eye of Toxin at the max level.
Feel free to use your Phoenix Feathers, since there’s no way to save after this battle anyways. You’ll definitely want as many of these as possible when playing solo.
Again, you may want to forgo statistically superior gear in favor of covering elemental resistances, especially when Shylphiel joins.
If you have your elemental resistances set up correctly, you can have Reviel switch between sorcerous swords and make use of their unique effects, like Cyclone’s speed boost and Disaster’s skill charge reduction. Do note that Khaos’s Elemental Raid means he might resist attacks from a Sorcerous Sword. In that case, try a different element or use regular swords.
You must Brave Clear this battle to get to the bonus room.
If you’re using a full party, I recommend taking out Khaos first because Shylphiel already has her own Counter passive and her Illusory Barrier counters are mostly single target.
If you’re playing solo, I recommend defeating Shylphiel first because her single target attacks are very deadly and harder to deal with than Khaos’s elemental attacks.
If you’re playing Reviel solo, Atwiki recommends (at minimum) maxing Meteor Drive, Dead End, Criss Cross, and all three ultimate sword skills. I would throw in Thunder Rage at any level to deal with Shylphiel.
Definitely make use of Cyclone and Azure Dragon Armor to help heal between Shylphiel and Khaos’s attacks if you’re doing a solo attempt.
