First of all, could I give Sans a kiss on the cheek? And second, I don't know if you've been asked this before, but how long does it take you to do the animations and how did you learn to do them?

*Illuminati sfx* uh... You probably can't, I dunno...

As for the question, the time really varies. This for instance took just under 20 minutes to make, but I can sometimes even spend 3-4 hours working on a longer/harder scene. It mostly depends on how many characters I have in them and what they're doing... And how many times they fall over...

And I learnt this as a hobby AGES ago!! I was... Like, 6? Can't remember really, but I found out about it through LEGO stop motion and started making my own inspired by it! First it was me trying to recreate the first HTTYD film with my sibling, then I got into LEGO Minecraft and started animating those Hypixel games? (Like bed wars, sky wars, all that...) I got the LEGO animation book and never felt happier!! Read and used it like it was ancient knowledge... (Didn't understand most of it I don't think XD) And basically yeah, I kept making stuff, little films, unfinished ones, complete series, and I got better every time, not saying they were GOOD but... It helped me get to where I am now so... Yeah. Also super nostalgic when I rewatch them!! And cringe... XD

In your April meets the turtles post, you said the brothers' timlines were unnaturally tied to Mikey's. Does this mean he was supposed to find these Bad Ending versions of his brothers– who had no family left– so he could adopt them as his own brothers? And if so, what is the force behind the scenes orchestrating this 'reunion'? Ancestors? A cosmic being? The timelines having their own way of ordering themselves? Or is it just an anomaly?...How much does this matter to the overall story? Am I just being pedantic at this point?

This dives deep into how I personally interpret the multiverse and alternate timelines, my own headcanons and all that jazz, so allow me a moment to attempt to elaborate on this XD

To me, it seems reasonable to assume that the multiverse is a bit of a fragile thing. Powerful and tough in its own right, but it can only deal with so much stress before it just breaks.

So in my mind, I like to think that physically, this AU is a bit. . . weird. In comparison to other AU's mechanical structure that is.

Most other universes deal with just one timeline. There are certain instances of course where maybe two timelines cross over to one another, merging together to become one (ex. the whole Casey Jr situation in the movie.)

I would assume there would've been a few minor, hardly noticeable repercussions, but it wasn't enough to cause any serious issues to the overall universe.

My AU? It has four coexisting timelines, each with their own unique experiences and outcomes. They're so incredibly different that they should have branched off to become their own separate worlds; and yet they are so incredibly similar that the connection was never properly severed.

Hence the reason why Mikey was able to find them so quickly.

He pulled them all together, causing a multiversal anomaly.

Scientifically speaking, it shouldn't even be possible. That kind of strain would normally cause a cataclysmic collapsion that wouldn't just destroy all four timelines -

- It would essentially create a wormhole more powerful than space and time itself, leaving nothing left of this world.

But that never happened.

When Michelangelo returned home with his brothers, out of the three parents' reactions, Baron Draxum's was probably the most. . . explosive.

Not out of anger of course, but out of shock and maybe a bit of fear. Being the kind of guy that he is, he's done his fair share of research on the multiverse. He knows what should have happened when Mikey didn't, and has been searching for answers since the day the boys arrived.

Why hadn't everything completely fallen apart??

He found the answer when he decided to examine the timeline itself.

Draxum discovered the reason why the timeline hadn't completely collapsed was because an immense power source was stabilizing everything.

And not just a power source - a living, breathing, intelligent life form, channelling an unbelievable amount of mystic energy unlike anything he had ever come across before.

Any little information given in ancient writings about this unknown being was cryptic and impossible to make out.

But in one old Japanese scroll, worn by time, Draxum was able to find one key note:

神秘的な戦士。 (Shinpi tekina senshi.)

一族の末っ子。 (Ichizoku no suekko.)

最後の浪人。(Saigo no rōnin.)

You ask if Mikey was always meant to find these "bad endings," and I suppose it depends on whether the viewer believes in fate or not.

You’re speaking my language, but I don’t know where to start. SO MANY OPTIONS! :’)

Do we put the 12-ish OG!relativity falls kids with the 14~17ish Shellfishies? So there can be a misunderstanding that this is them in the future?

Or are they the same age so the contrast between the Stans is absolutely glaring?

But even then will we put them together before Shellfish!Stan & Ford make up or after?

Before, but Stan is still on the run?

OG!Stan and Ford will be going around trying to uncover what happened with Stan and no one will tell them anything. They come to the conclusion that Stan must’ve died with the way everyone in this universe keeps looking at them.

But it’s the worst for Shellfish!Ford who is confronted with everything he could’ve had, if he had been a better brother. A better person. Someone who didn’t just abandon the people closest to him the moment he found something more interesting to waste his time on.

Ford is used to hating himself. He always did. Every time he looked at his hands or let Stan protect him like a coward, he hated himself.

But now, looking at who he could’ve been, his past issues all seemed so petty and inconsequential. 

As it turns out Ford never knew what true self hatred felt like until they, Grunkle Dipper, Other Ford and himself, were buried nose deep into their research and Other Stan came and dragged Other Ford away from them.

Other Ford protested loudly, but Other Stan simply laughed and shouted over his shoulder: “See you later, Nerds!”

The two of them came back an hour later, giggling and triumphant, with a solution to their dimension replacement problem. Together they managed in a mere hour what three geniuses couldn’t do in two weeks and had fun doing it.

Ford truly hates himself now. 

And there is no one to blame but himself. 

Then he finds out that Other Ford also had the option to stay in Gravity Falls but didn’t take it because that would mean he wouldn’t get to grow up with Stan and nothing could be worth that loss.

It’s mentioned offhandedly and in passing. 

Ford excuses himself quietly, locks himself inside his room closet and starts to bawl.

He loses track of time but then there is light and his brother is there and Ford stops thinking. He lets himself be embraced and apologizes until he passes out.

Well anyways the OG Stans eventually figure out what really happened, decide they can’t have that and drag Ford with them to find the little lost Shellfish. :)

Before they make up, but Stan is living with them in Gravity Falls?

We can start that one with OG!Stan glaring at Shellfish!Stan and be like: “What the fuck is his deal? Why is he so rude? How dare he make Ford sad!”

Turns out they make it worse before they figure poor Shellfish!Stan out. But after they do, they plan to kidnap this Stan back to their home dimension :D

After the Selfish!Stans make up?

It seems fine. Everything seems fine even if Stan and Grunkle Dipper and Grauntie Mabel seem to be mad at each other?

"Hey so what’s that all about anyways?"

Ford goes into overprotective brother mode, pulls them aside and threatens OG!Ford with violence if Stan ever dares to ask the wrong questions again.

“Ehm shouldn’t I be the one that gets threatened?”

“NO! I love you and you didn’t do anything wrong ever. SO SHUT UP. ALSO I LOVE YOU. NEVER FORGET THAT.”

“…o-kay”

“Pssh Ford, we really need to get out of this dimension fast. They’re acting worse than Grunkle Dipper on five bottles of Mabel Juice and no sleep.“

“Agreed.”

They eventually see how Shellfish!Stan acts around the adults and all his scars and it all paints a horrifying picture.

[But also them trying to do small talk:

“So, how’s Pa?”

“He’s dead.”

“Oh no, I’m so sorry.”

“Not as sorry as I was when I killed him.”

Stan laughs.

OG!Stans force an uncomfortable chuckle. Ha ha. Nice joke…

They feel a cold shiver from behind and slowly turn around. Shellfish!Ford is standing there, the glare on his glasses hiding his eyes. For some reason there is a sledge hammer in his hand.]

Or how about Stan on the run but suddenly there's OG Ford or both OG!Stans??

How about they arrive in New Jersey before Filbrick dies?

Or in Gravity Falls and they’re like “What are you doing? Get your Stan back. NOW!”

Is there anything else we should know about Lilian (Lilith) in your Stargazers AU? Such as: What was she like as a mother? Why do you think she had postpartum depression? What was her postpartum depression like? How was her relationship with Lucius (Lucifer) like before they divorced? What does she think of Lucius (Lucifer) and Charlie now?

All really amazing questions that I wonder why people don't ask more often XD But rest assured, EVERYTHING you ask about got answers to them! I kid you not when I say this AU is jam packed in lore! With hints of future story arcs sprinkled through almost every related post as all major characters WILL have their chance at development (whether they want it or not). Unfortunately, due to plot reasons, I can't answer most of these questions YET. But I can tell you they were very much drawn to each other when Lucius and Lilian first started going out and she still keeps in touch with the father and daughter dynamic duo! Even if getting a hold of her now is quite difficult. In any case, I'm grateful for your interest and I apologize for the long wait! I had my first owned art booth experience and it coincided with Midterms. So you can just imagine the schedule I've been following recently. 😅 Still, look forward to more because the next update is all about Alastor's motivations! ^v^ -Bubbly💙

Have any of the felt characters ever needed a doctor's visit for repairs?

Yes, loads of times actually... Especially in the beginning! I was new to it and had no idea what I was doing, I.. uh, was inspired by my little brother who was making little characters using chestnuts and nails... So the first puppet base looked like this...

Honestly creepy.

That was Crossbones old "skeleton" I guess you could say, he's been through the most repairs. The most visits to the doctors... Had a full on operation!!

I try to make the puppets the best I can now with the knowledge I have, the less I have to improve them/remake something on them, the better. Especially when they're already completed!!

(It's still not perfect, Sans' arm keeps falling off, Frisk's leg too, Crossbones head likes to fall off and play ball and TS!Papyrus' body detaches from his legs!!? I've changed the wires in them a few times already, they slip out sometimes... But yes, they have had many doctors visits for repairs!!)
