Levi:

•Levi is quite the possessive knight to be honest, it would be difficult to keep his role as he’s always managing to upset the higher ups with how he wants you a million miles away from danger. Again, he pisses off the higher ups… AKA the king… A K A … your dad

•So for this I propose that Levi is not your knight, he’s your butler. A strong butler 😭 it’s really funny. He seems like a stoic and angry little one but actually, he’s the best. Especially to the young royals.

•he’d perform tricks for them every time they seem sad. Levi understands after all, being a child and a royal at the same time must have put a lot of pressure on them. So the children absolutely adore Levi.

•You’re already promised to someone sure, but you couldn’t care less, you’ll sneak out of your room at night to hang out with Levi just sipping tea with him and talking about life while hanging out on one of the fancy balconies in the castle.

•Levi isn’t one for scandals, he makes sure to stay low when it comes to other people finding about his relationship with the Princess. If you’re sent on a journey, usually your mum and dad will send Levi with you. Since he’s not only strong but also very responsible.

•You’re lucky enough to not have any knights accompany you, Levi is all you need. And once you know no one’s on your tail, you can finally act normal together.

•I guess at one point, you two would run away together, forever bounty’s sure, but you’re also forever married ☺️ (DISCLAIMER‼️ not by law)

Erwin:

•Erwin was upgraded from a knight to the kings advisor. That’s just how smart and convincing he is. In this AU he’d have a scar crossing over on his eyes and he’d even have stories written about him (in the future people probably would thing Knight Smith was a damned legend😤)

•He has always caught your eye, with his kindness, his bravery, but most of all his intelligence, no one could compete with his war strategies, his ideas. All of it had twisted the kingdom into a whole new better life of civilisation.

•you happened to be the person who helped upgrade Erwin to such a spot. That way, you two could see each other more often and you wouldn’t have to worry about him dying in battle.

•Everytime he greets you in front of your dad he delicately picks your hand up and kisses it, even going as far as to bow down. He always gives you a knowing smirk every time he stands back up, towering over you.

•Not gonna lie to you, when the king sees the way you and Erwin interact his head just goes 💡 L I G H T B U L B

•And that’s how you ended up in an arranged marriage with someone you were secretly dating. Honestly it was kinda sad for the maidens of the kingdom, since who doesn’t have a fat crush on this man💔 still though, everyone celebrated and your dad could die peacefully knowing the country was in good hands

•Hange was originally supposed to assassinate you as an act of revenge against your father, the king. Like a typical evil dumb butt he took from the poor and gave to the rich. Which means the rich never pay any taxes only the poor do.

•ANYWAY! She had been stalking you before she planned to kill you, learning your routine and trying to adapt to times that are better to just, shoot an arrow through your chest.

•Would she wanna shoot your chest after she got flashed at while stalking you? 😫Not at all- (I’m so sorry anytime I’m writing Hange I become so feral for no reason)

•Anyway, she found out from your words to the maids, that you hated your father and had even planned to poison him. Everyone agreed with you, he was horrible and treated people like animals.

•Hange realised it would be easier to kill your father, but it isn’t really. If she ever gets caught then a deathly torture will await for her… and besides, it’d be harder with all the security around him at all damn times.

•Then one day. She had joined the guard legion, to get closer to you.

•No one really knew her gender but she was strong enough to be classified as a man to them (ik it’s stupid but bear with me 😭)

•With all the times she had saved you from danger, she was placed as the guard that would stay by your side.

•Of course, even when saving you from dangerous situations (that feels like she set up herself) you can’t help but feel suspicious from the way she stares at you longingly, holds you away from something that may hold potential danger. Not to mention she’s just so flirtatious with you and doesn’t care if anyone sees.

•And not very long after, you begin to grow feelings for her too.

•When you finally get alone together, those flirtatious comments turn into flirtatious touching, with her finger tucked under your chin every time she talks to you.

•Before more people arrive you took your chance to kiss her cheek as a thank you.. and low-key a way to say, yo you’re kinda cute 🌚

•I think only you know that she’s a woman 🗿 her face is more feminine and her throat is less thicker than the mens, her waist goes inward despite her muscles.

•This is getting too long, perhaps I’ll turn this Into a fanfiction one day

Bertholdt:

•Bertholdt was not a knight, he wasn’t a servant, he wasn’t an assassin either

•He was a peasant. A peasant child born to the family of wise fortune tellers. His parents died of a disease and so did his siblings so the royal family took him in, with the condition that he predicts the future for them.

•Bertholdt did, he was as intelligent as his parents were. The king and queen were proud, they were overjoyed. Bertholdt had grown up with the royals and learnt how to be better than a peasant.

•So, your parents low-key thought, you’d be a perfect gift to him for all those years of service. He was moved from the castle he grew up in and was hastily thrown into your arms.

•When he first showed up he had a red cape strapped to his shoulders with gold, matching with a golden suit. He was so flustered when he saw you, he was great full for the two maids that stood beside him, helping him introduce himself to you.

•the first time you guys spoke, he was silent and never looked you in the eye. “did my parents raise a prince or a bunny?” You giggled softly at how his cheeks instantly burnt a warm red. Still, he refused to look you in the eye.

•”Hey, it’s okay… I don’t bite. Now,” you tucked your finger under his chin, bringing his attention back to you. “Why don’t you introduce yourself. Properly this time.”

Reiner:

•The most chaotic knight ever.

•He was so infatuated with your beauty, he’d probably be able to answer a 100 question quiz about you, with no hesitation and get it all right. Please, if you asked him to run outside with nothing but a tight pink peppa pig themed underwear on, he’d do it.

•Despite how chaotic and wreckless he is, he was charming. Your father really liked him. Reiner was always one in a few that returned from dangerous missions or battles, he was important to your dad. But not important enough to give his daughter away to.

•That doesn’t stop the two of you though. When your father is away on trips and missions, you two do anything you like, Reiner will even put you on a horse, right in front of him and take you on an adventure. Your mum would warn you two to show up before a specific date when your father would return.

•Honestly spontaneous, funny, and possessive. He’s just a hardcore golden retriever.

•Did I mention the amount of times he’s probably got into a near death situation. He has a knack for it, his body is filled with scars just from his carelessness. No one knows how he’s still alive.

•Would die for you tbh

•Hed even run away with you. Anything for his princess.

•Omg side note but imagine your father finds out about your relationship and banished him from the kingdom. But instead you secretly pack your things and run away with Reiner. Perfect. Awesome. Yes.

Kenny:

•Kenny is connected to the evil shit the royals secretly do. He gets paid a lot to do snarky shit that your parents order him to do. It’s usually something like sabotaging a certain town or village that are slowly catching onto something

•Or perhaps it’s killing someone. Kenny is at the royals service. And to be honest, you never knew about this until you overheard it happening. You weren’t supposed to be there and you didn’t know what would happen to you if your father found out that you caught on.

•it’s another story with Kenny tbh. He knows you but you don’t know him.

•So when you leave the castle for a bit- without permission and without protection, you find yourself in a dangerous situation in which crooks want you for ransom (you must be a dumbass in this story) but anyway, a random man that looks way too old to be pulling the moves that he is saves you from being toyed around with (ugly stupid cranks)

•”Be careful next time.” He’d say, even though he knew you, he didn’t want to give it away that he understood you were the princess.

•And honestly, you’d low-key develop a hardcore crush on him. Only realising who he is when your father introduced you to him (you happen to see him) that was the same voice as the one you’re father always had meetings with.

•Still, how could you hate him 😍 what with all the smiles he shoots at you, winking at you from across the room when he catches you staring. It’s no wonder an affair began from it all.

•He should be on a mission, to go shoot someone’s brains out but here he is, in your locked room at night, muffling your moans the best you could.

Jean:

•Jean would be your jester. Except he isn't a jester? Basically he was hired to help the princess keep her chin up, a way to make sure she doesn't do something dangerous because of her depression

•You'd scoff when you were first introduced to your jester, dressed like a body guard and height tall enough to convince you he was the new king.

•"What's all this? I'm depressed not manically suicidal."

•"I'm sorry but his majesty insisted." The maid bowed from right next to Jean, seemingly nervous. You sighed but nodded reluctantly, shooing her off before she could sweat a puddle.

•you're surprised he was hired, he has no boundaries with you and talks to you like you're just another human being (shocker) but honestly you're low-key into it, it's a bit of fresh air from all that royalty bs.

•Your little cutie Jester will take you on late night trips, sometimes to festivals, sometimes he'll take you to bars or restaurateurs (Eugene from rapunzel Core) he'll even get you commoner gifts. They're cute and their designs are done with thought, unlike your golden possessions- which are just hulks of money.

•the king could see a change in your demeanour when it came to Jean. He was helping you, you seemed less miserable. All you needed was a commoner bestie.

•Also can we mention the amount of times he has flirted with you, it always makes the butlers and maids fear for him, but they always get confused when you flirt back, perhaps bumping your hips into his... to which he replies with a stronger hip punch. Only throwing you two back and forth in zig zags and giggles.

here are the eight movies i watched for the month of july:

**SPOILERS BELOW**

JULY 4 - THE HALF OF IT

going into this i thought it would be another tatbilb, or even worse, another kissing booth, but i was pleasantly surprised that this was sapphic introspection at its greatest. ish. i love love loved the spray paint scene - probably one of my fav scenes of july - it kinda reminded me of the rock segment in everything everywhere (i’m not over it btw) and it made me pause the movie and squeal for an embarrassingly long time

also, in a way, isn’t this a sapphic (slash bi, altho it was very obvious the only person ellie loved was aster) retelling of sierra burgess is a loser? 

yep. at its very core, the half of it is yet another cyrano effect film. unlike sierra burgess is a loser, though, i loved this movie, because it treads the line between poetic and fun, artistic yet...kinda basic, which isn’t a bad thing, per se. also, while it had a lot of nltog moments, there were a lot of scenes that made this movie awesome. i’ll prob rewatch soon once i have time 🫶

JULY 5 - LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD

(i actually went to watch rise of gru on the same day, but since i watched it at the cinema i decided not to include it here)

screams. i love this movie to pieces! yet another sapphic masterpiece for the month of july, mostly because i was really out of it in june (bc i binged so many series). i actually watched hibike euphonium a very long time ago, and lemme tell u rn i was so. disappointed when i heard that kumiko and reina don’t end up together. i had to turn to fics to ease my pain. 

SO. i decided to watch liz and the blue bird. holy. this movie is SO poetic. almost like worship? like.....religious. except not to god, but to their...well, love? the movie never explicitly says the forbidden L word but it is very heavily implied that they have feelings for each other, WHICH MAKES ME LOVE their devotion to each other EVEN MORE. 

the actual liz and the blue bird story in the movie actually made me cry. i loved the caged bird imagery, the way liz had to let the blue bird go for her to be able to fly again, even though it hurt her...even though the blue bird didn’t want to leave her...sigh. love is selfless after all i guess. sometimes i wish it were a little more selfish bc they deserved to be together 😞

i love the fact that at the start of the movie the text says disjoint, and by the end it finally says joint. it’s another small thing that affects the whole movie’s atmosphere and it was done phenomenally!

JULY 11 - MONTE CARLO

this is the kind of movie you would watch on disney channel when you were really young, fall asleep in the living room, and wake up in your bed. like magic? well, i probably only feel this way bc selena gomez is in it lol 

BTW can we take a sec to appreciate the visuals in this movie?? by visuals i mean how beautiful the main characters were. selena is SO PRETTY in this i actually couldnt stop staring BUT ALSO leighton is gorgeous as always and altho i dont really know katie she is also so so beautiful. this was a solid movie, super cute and exciting. also idk why but it kinda reminded me of the parent trap. well. i guess it’s obvious why it reminded me of the parent trap, but eh. it’s weird to think that we have complete doppelgängers out there tho

i didn’t care too much about the love interests besides meg’s, because he was legitimately awesome. man. i liked that grace and theo met up again at the end but as i said, don’t really care too much about him. RIP cory 😔

JULY 12 - BARBIE MARIPOSA

this movie has one of the most iconic opening sequences in barbie history. also, is it really considered a rewatch if the last time i watched this i was like 5 with no capability to retain any sort of fondness for it

great movie, i loved that they didn’t make the “mean girls” evil but instead gave them tremendous character growth. this is modern (2008) feminism yall

JULY 18 - ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP

YAY ANOTHER ZOEY DEUTCH MOVIE! i love this woman more than i love myself sometimes so i was devastated when she died. jk. she survived but i was horrified for a hot sec

i actually watched this at the gym with my phone bared for all to see so when it came time for that scene with madison and columbus i simply turned my phone around and waited it out. btw i almost fell on the tread when avan freakin jogia appeared bc what is he doing in zombieland as a hippy

i also cant tell what exactly it is wichita wants. like...ok. her “i don’t get attached” bs would be a nightmare for me to deal with so columbus stronger than me fr

(btw this is the THIRD time i’ve written this review because I KEEP forgetting to save draft this is horrible)

JULY 19 - BARBIE MARIPOSA & THE FAIRY PRINCESS

yk those movies that aren’t sapphic but are universally agreed upon as sapphic-coded? this is one of them. GAH i love their connection. they r so cute 🥰 

i love the forgiveness scene bc it kinda reminds me of what should’ve happened by the end of beauty and the beast. the prince finally giving the witch a place to stay = catania giving gwyllion a crystallite. isn’t it safe to say then that mariposa is the beauty and catania is the beast....but they’re both beauties, so i guess it’ll just be beauty and beauty. beauty2

JULY 25 - FOREVER MY GIRL

listen. i trusted jessica rothe bc i loved her as tree in happy death day, but this movie.....had me wanting to punch. liam. so bad. LIKE HOW DOES SOMEONE MESS UP THAT BADLY. first man LEAVES her at the altar, next he wont return her calls TRYING to tell him she’s pregnant, and now he just wants to up and rejoin her life, as if he hasn’t been absent from it for 8 YEARS???

while i hated the male lead i still enjoyed the movie, all the little things. liam is so constantly horrible to the people around him but they STILL forgive him bc its a christian movie so forgiveness has to be a thing apparently. personally i would’ve punched him harder josie

but i gotta admit the voice mail thing is pretty romantic. probably one of the only things i liked about liam was his beat up old cellphone with the voicemail he listens to every single day. btw liam page...liam payne...coincidence i think not

JULY 26 - KUNG FU PANDA 2

another rewatch because i am insane. since when was kung fu panda a cinematic masterpiece?? since the 2nd movie ofc bc lord shen is one of the greatest movie villains ever idc 

good lord i remember liking him so much i literally had like a folder of deviantart fanart of him which is pretty disturbing if u ask me but rewatching it made my adoration for him increase tenfold. kung fu panda 2 is the best kung fu panda movie and i WILL die on this hill

the animation was PHENOMENAL and it had some of the most epic fight scenes in the movie series. i love how this movie added to po’s background and how he ended up as the dragon warrior. plus the way his and tigress’ friendship developed! what i love most tho is the father son bond between po and ping. made me tear up x10 so i was basically crying a river. i also didn’t realize how hilarious kung fu panda is, i haven’t laughed like that in a long time (since everything everywhere) (so like since a month ago)

awesome animation+awesome script+awesome villain! what more can u ask for

By the time they reach the venue, Steve’s left foot has joined his right in its nervous tapping. He's practically vibrating in his seat. The Lyft has barely rolled to a stop when he opens his door, thanking their driver as he quickly sends a tip through the app and steps out into the warm night air.

His heart skips as he turns to watch Bucky walking around the back of the car to meet him. Bucky’s sapphire eyes practically twinkle in the glow of the city lights, brimming with mischief as he flashes Steve a lopsided grin. The shirt and pants he wears fit as if they were made for him. It dawns on Steve that they probably were, likely at the Princess’ behest. She has an excellent eye for fashion and she knows her husband, because the ensemble enhances his features in exactly the right ways.

Bucky gives him a knowing look as he steps up onto the curb. “You ready?”

Steve gestures ahead of him. “When you are.” Bucky claps him on the back as they both turn to make their way toward the restaurant. “Did Riri pick this place?”

Bucky nods. “That’s what Shuri said. I guess Peter and MJ brought her here when she first joined the team, and she really loved it. I think the club is on the second floor, and Shuri said there’s a bar up top.”

“That’s convenient,” Steve says with a chuckle. He reaches for the door, opening it for Bucky. Bucky smirks and nods his head as he steps into the soft glow of the restaurant, Steve following right behind him.

The establishment is clearly on the swankier side, with several chandeliers hanging over a mahogany bar. Velvet loveseats and leather chairs in rich colors are interspersed throughout, surrounding small tables of dark wood, with candles set atop them. A long, L-shaped booth takes up one of the far walls, illuminated by even more chandeliers and color-changing ambient lighting.

The place is jam-packed with partygoers milling about and chatting excitedly. Steve’s eyes pass over familiar and not-so-familiar faces, only concerned at the moment with finding one familiar face in particular.

Her laugh rings out, and he snaps his head to the right, only to be immediately distracted by a firm hand on his left shoulder.

“Hey!” Sam says jovially. “And I thought I was gonna be the last one to show up.”

Steve chuckles. “It took me a little longer than I thought to figure out what I wanted to wear, so…” he shrugs, eyes flickering briefly in the direction from which he’d heard Shuri’s laughter only a second ago.
