my problematic trait is that i think inklings with realistic guns is unironically cool as fuck
#rassicas speaks#i like to imagine Real Ass Guns still exist and are way harder to get a hold of#like standard turf war weapons are meant to cover the target in ink and do bludgeoning(?) damage#like thats definitely enough to be lethal to an inkfish and some other species. but others are more resistant to ink and its not as effecti#while Real Ass Guns are very effective against non ink based species and are made to pierce and kill#or what if ones that are meant to kill in such a way that it stops respawning? like. toxins in the bullets.#or like u could have Real Ass Guns that are still ink activated in a way. theres options here. fun to think abt

//legit am having so much fun in sploon2 multiplayer too though it's just different enough from 3 that after rotating the same maps for a while it's nice to go to the older game and see some really cool maps that didn't make it over. and that i wish were in 3 because they're so fucking fun and cool??? where the FUCK is ancho-v games in splatoon 3, nintendo??? we need more non tetris brick hallway maps

got bored and did my own little challenge. basically play turf until you win then switch the weapon, starting with mains and working your way into weapons you dont use
so far: (main) splatana wiper - 2 battles (won 2nd try) bloblobber - 2 battles aerospray rg - 1 battle (won first try) enpery splat dualies - 1 battle (technically 2 because in the first battle someone dc'd like 2 seconds into the match) carbon roller - 2 battles reef-flux 450 deco - 1 battle
currently doing splat brella (only 1 battle so far, 45.6 to 46.7 :( )
#localacegoblin's stuff#actually been quite nice for my confidence :3#currently i have 31 weapons#take 6 thats 25 weapons to go including splat brella#in case you cant tell my play style is 'fast and panicky' with a focus on inking turf#i dont get that many kills and i run away in terror at the sight of a charger so i just focus on turfing#so weapons i like come with the added bonus of being able to kill enemies quickly if they surprise you#also i hate being slow. i loathe using splatlings#again. im panicky. like to move around a lot

random headcanon: Agent 3 (and 4's) agent outfits look like construction worker outfits because those are the most common (and cheapest) pieces of clothing made with ink-resistant technology. No, not like turfing stuff, but something actually made to withstand stronger and more harmful ink.
