Dont know whether to call it a guilty pleasure or just a pleasure but I've been really enjoying writing scenes in my fanfic that kinda describe fanart that Ive seen. And like, i mean fanart tropes, you know? With 3rd life you see a lot of the desert ponchos, the grian-bird on Scar's shoulder, one lighting the other's dynamite

these scenes are just so ingrained in my understanding of the fanon that I feel compelled to include them, you know? I have no idea where they originally came from, I couldnt even give one example to point at, but these trends and works of art have just

made themselves at home in my head
