Puyo Puyo 7 introduced a ruleset called Transformation. Which included both young (Mini) and old (Mega) variations for some (but not all) of the playable characters.

In this two part post, I will show you some Mini and Mega variants for some of the characters.

Main Inversions for Puyo Puyo Colors part 2! (Full page under cut)

Lemres's bullet points really pushed my ability to concisely describe personalities even though it's pretty straightforward: he becomes a huge jerk. Although, if not for the fact he doesn't care about people trusting him, he wouldn't have the usual suspicious vibes.

(He is going to apologize to Klug after he's back to normal and give him so many sweets)

Feli's inversion is also straightforward, and I'm pulling from her Puzzle Pop side story for this.

Klug finds out the extent of how weird everything going gray is by interacting with them both. He does not have a good morning.

Arle was fun because I didn't want to just do "Arle but evil" since that ignores other aspects of her character, and I didn't want any of the Inversions to just be evil (not to mention canon has technically done evil Arle twice). The doodle shows this a bit, but even though she's polite and patient, she won't help you with something if she considers it too difficult or dangerous for herself.

Schezo is one of the first people who goes back to normal because Rulue gets extremely annoyed with him and challenges him to a Puyo battle to bring him back to his senses.

Amitie, however, is brought back by Sig. He didn't like seeing her like that, so he challenged her to a battle.

No notes about inverted Carbuncle other than that him and Arle are still inseparable. It takes more than a spell reversing their personalities to split them up.

Getting inverted doesn't alter memories, but it causes some confusion since there is a huge disconnect between what they did and what they would do now.

You know, I love the mini versions of characters in Puyo Puyo 7. I mean for the Compile characters I don't accept the mini versions as their canon child selves, I mean Arle already has a child design.

But for the Primp and Suzuran characters? Those are totally their child selves! And look at them!
