honestly kudos to Elementary for gender swapping John Watson in what we all thought was an attempt to make johnlock palatable to the masses and then proceeding to not only make them entirely platonic but also become the ONLY modern adaptation where i actually feel like them being platonic makes complete sense

Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.

Peeta buring the bread and tossing some to her then taking a beating from his mom is a HUGE thing in the books.#he used his resources to help her like you all said someone should.#district 12 DID (rip) care about Katniss before the hunger games. why do you think she was allowed to hunt? or how her trades were good #these are the little ways 12 can shows Katniss they love her. but again Katniss doesn't see this and YES its because she had ptsd before the #hunger games as well. i swear some of you make it seem like d12 was all living a life of luxury and glaring down at Katniss.#other things that show Katniss is in hight standing with at least her people of d12 is her dad was known enough through d12 for peeta dad to #comment on his singing along with his commenting on her mom. also her mom is a healer in the community. yeah her parents arnt the top but #of d12 but they are/were definitely high staning in the Seam.

It's funny how we look at life through the accomplishments. I wanted to do many things this year. I did many other things, mostly work related and work related traveling. Did a course I didn't want to do (but nobody knows that), got promoted, wrote those pages I wanted to have (late, but still). The year is ending and am I happy with what I did this year? I should be. I should be proud and I should be content. But instead I'm just tired and I don't even remember half of it. It's been a long and full year, but it feels like a lost time. Like it was too short to do any of those slow, "just living" things, that usually stay with me. I have pictures and thank God I have them, cause I don't feel connected to this year at all. At the end, even writing and hanging out with friends and family started to feel like a race.

#I know I learned a lot #and I know it was a good year #but it was SO PACKED #i feel like I didn't have enough time to stop and breathe #it was a very weird year #but I learned a lot #honestly january and february feel like a different timeline #the rest was just a mess of stuff to do #2024 #2025 #new years #new year #dragon year #it was a good year but it wore me out A LOT #also all of those accomplishments?#most of them might look great but they mean nothing to me #the biggest things for me was learning how to draft a story #learning how to not give up #learning about God and my faith and religions all over the world #being on the spiritual journey #and figuring shit out with my writing #those 100 lages? they are shit and i know that but the thing that gives me joy is that one day I will go back to them #and make them better #and that I didn't give up #and crossed an invisible line of fear of going forward with what I wanted to say and do

Getting looser with lineart and better at colour schemes and simplifying shading. Is good actually.#It's so much easier to eyeball what a colour would look like in a setting instead of colourpicking the OG palette and struggling with...#...like 9 overlay and multiply and soft/hard light layers #Approximating colour genuinely looks better than forcing local colour into the piece. As long as the values are still there it works out #comic
