my roommate @latr1nal1a and i were discussing this scene in s1ep3 where petey is talking to mark in his basement

he mentions a department that no one has been to before. a department where you aren't allowed to LEAVE.

he is CLEARLY talking about the testing floor, where they are keeping gemma!!!! she isn't allowed to leave!!!!!!

so. this has been established. petey somehow stumbled across the testing floor. which then means that he knows about the exports hall............

a big question i've had the entire time while watching this show is how the FUCK does outie irving know about the exports hall. it's the kind of information that only an innie could know, and clearly innie irving had no clue about it until the OTC when he saw all the paintings.

so. how does outie irving know? who told him?

my leading theory so far was that reghabi was irving's contact. she seems to be the one with the most knowledge about the things going on inside lumon, so it would make sense that she would be working with irving.

HOWEVER, now that we've realized that PETEY knows about the testing floor.............who's to say it wasn't petey who told irving about the hallway? having been reintegrated, petey would probably have sought out irving as well!

I mean, some HAVE a silhouette!! It could mean they do have a design in the making/ready to show. They could’ve shown us Falena in the Tamashina (hope I said that correctly) event, but didn’t (prolly to make Leona not so σ(▼□▼メ) and it’s understandable)

Anyhow, any idea/headcannon about this? Who do you want to see first?

I'm wondering if everyone might eventually get a travel event? like they've now introduced with Vil's that it doesn't have to be specifically hometowns, so that opens things up a lot! (especially if they have to figure out how to do three separate Coral Sea visits) (how would that even work otherwise)

but yeah, I hope everyone gets a chance! there's a lot of backstory characters I would LOVE to meet. :D :D :D though I do think some of them don't really suit the more light-hearted tone of the events (pretty sure you're right about that being why Falena wasn't in Tamashina-Mina, that would've just been. too much for Leona.) so like...we're probably not ever going to meet the Rosehearts. or Maleficia (although I maintain that this would be THE funniest possible way to introduce her outside of the main story, and actually I would love this a lot, can we please Twst) (I need to see her to put Malleus in a froofy little outfit and tell him what a handsome boy he is). but they've sprung surprises like Kifaji on us, and honestly anyone who shows up and tells embarrassing stories about characters' childhoods is good in my book!

characters off the top of my head who I most want to meet: literally any of the Zigvolts, Azul's mom, Ace's brother, Che'nya's grandfather (<- I think he would be a good one for Riddle) (please just any non-terrible adult in his life), any member of Rook's family because I need to see how they managed to produce him, and...really just whoever they can come up with for Silver.

So I was checking the dates in-between comic updates and when you uploaded them on your patreon and made an OOC post as a reminder? Notice?

So based on what I gathered so far.

When you have backlogs of parts, you upload one every two weeks, and your patreons get early access to all the backlogs a week before one part of those backlogs was even uploaded?

Hopefully my wording isn't confusing, i'm sick, like victorian boy felix from changeling au sick, but worse, so I couldn't formulate words well

the thing is, I would PREFER to upload about 50-70 frames per update, but since Tumblr now has a 30 image limit on posts, I have to cut my updates in half or into thirds. on Patreon, my patrons get the full update, all frames at once, while tumblr will get them usually in the form of two to three posts, because I have to split them up to upload them.

so Generally, patrons will get the Full Update all at once, while tumblr, a week later, will get Half the update.

Updates are every other week for the time being, if I manage to make enough of a backlog they'll be weekly again!

Yeah! Feb 27th at 34 weeks. so they're already 2 months old💚 (time flies wtf)

a little early and nobody exactly knows why but I just got the crazy pains one day, when it got strong and consistent enough to make me worry I went to the hospital. they told me nothing's going on, it's nowhere strong enough... so I was sent home. and then I gave birth in my bathroom 4 hours later. (I love the healthcare system!!)

bc apparently that is not more painful than a chronic pain disease that I have. every month. since I was 16.

so I "didn't LOOK like I was in enough pain" I can handle a lot more than any human should be able to handle. (much like Flug. I have the "bizarre pain tolerance" superpower)

I made like 5 sketches for one of your asks and I'm still not done. I have so many ideas for it.

for now I'll show you this private commission I work on. I hope when I'm done I can say for who it is (it's insane)

(also in reality I can't handle ANY pain, I'm just also mentally ill and refuse to show "weakness" to people. the reflex to smile and stand up straight and act normal is so ingrained... it's a problem. so people never believe me when I say I suffer haha)

i'm seriously baffled by the wave of hate i'm seeing directed at toriel and misogyny is the root cause i keep coming back to. she's an adult woman. an adult woman can go on a date with someone she doesn't know and it doesn't make her a bad person, we all agree on that right? so why does that suddenly become some unforgiveable sin when the adult woman is a mother? it's because in a patriarchal society being a mother supersedes all other aspects of a woman's life and the title is used to further police their behavior! and if you think "well a mom just shouldn't be acting like that" then you are part of the problem!

toriel is not being horribly neglectful by forgetting to tell kris she canceled choir practice. forgetting is not a sin, and she has no reason to think kris is not having a great day. they've got a friend, which she's shown to be overjoyed about, and she knows they're going to be spending the day with that new friend, in a town where the crime is effectively non-existent. did we all just forget all of her previous displays of care and affection? do we all think that toriel getting drunk on a weekend night with a short king completely removes all of that? yes, kris is obviously shown to be unhappy when they stumble onto the scene. most children would be icked out by seeing their parent drunkenly dancing with a new squeeze! we have no reason to believe that toriel regularly gets drunk, no reason to believe she drinks regularly at all, but people are jumping the gun and calling her an alcoholic like it's a fact. but even if this does turn out to be the case, that still doesn't mean she's a terrible mother or a terrible person! she has been repeatedly shown to be sweet and kind and if you think this scene renders all of that inert, if you really think this female character not being a perfect mother and having her own pitfalls makes her deserving of scorn, take a step back and think about why you think that, and if you'd think the same if this were asgore.

Ok but imagine Greed saying stuff like “hey, why are billionaires telling you to do without so they can make more money?” and “take your PTO and benefits, demand a raise, form a union, be greedy, you deserve it.” and then of course “be realistic, demand the impossible”. Musing about Greed’s words got me thinking about these kinds of things. About how many people have been made to feel bad about desire and wanting.
