i don’t know who needs to hear this, but your mutuals, even your friends, don’t have to exist in the same world as you and your f/o if they also self ship with that character.

there doesn’t need to be competition or feeling like they’ll pick your friend over you. your f/o is yours and they exist in your own space separate from someone else’s. it isn’t wrong or mean either to keep people out of your self ship. if you’re having a hard time because someone “shares” your fave, just remember that person doesn’t even exist in your self ship universe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

think of your f/o as a copy, and there’s plenty to go around for everyone to enjoy and love in their own unique and comforting way.

Luigi Mangione could be getting the death penalty…

This man is innocent, his appearance and build doesn’t match that of the killers, the only “motive” he had was a convenient written confession showing that he supposedly viewed healthcare companies as “parasitic” and too expensive (which does somewhat contradict the actual killers actions) he had said note and the murder weapon conveniently on him while living his ordinary life, the killer held the gun in his right hand while Luigi is left-handed, Luigi and the Killer were potentially seen simultaneously, they wore slightly different coats.

The NYPD KNOW these are different people, they know the evidence is lacking, this isn’t a mistaken identity, it’s framing, they are trying to make themself appear to still be control by catching this man, humiliating him, killing him, when they know full well that the person they are prosecuting ISNT EVEN THE RIGHT GUY! This is an injustice! This is not a fair trial! This is downright tyranny!

I have a serious question

Is it fucked up of me to be pissed of when people bring life's matters or rullings to fictions??

Let me say an example

Take a story let's say a romantic story where two people are in a relationship or think they are because things are messed up and the MC (or it can be the love interest it doesn't matter) is a troubled person and it can be for many diffrent reasons, so all of this is leading to the MC hurting their partner (witch can be as messed up as the MC or a total goody sucshine person) and for fuck's sake the whole story is about the MC and their partner healing or learning and growing to be able to return their each other's feelings and actions. And all this things I said can be a little part of it and there is a much bigger picture to it. just like life isn't it? They(the characters) are not perfect. no one can be perfect.and for fuck's sake this is a very repetitive and common plot for many many romantic stories it's nothing new or a fantasy thing but if still well written it can be interesting and enjoyable because I think humans like to see characters grow we see flawed people and may relate to them and we want to see them learn and become good even if we can't... and if there is no flaw growing and getting better can not happen right?

So it fucking annoys me when I see some people see these stories and they start saying "it's problematic. it's not good. if you see someone like this breakup. it's not good. it's bad. they should never get together and so on" like shut the fuck up for a second it's not even that much of a big bad thing. And yes people can have their own opinion on things and stories and that's fucking what makes every person unique but it has limits just because you not like it or think it's bad you say it once and then shut the fuck up please don't ruin it for others.

Every fiction is not supposed to be a life lesson you shouldn't built or even look for how to go on about your life or what to do in life based on literally Movies, Books or most importantly Animes or Mangas. Yes you can be INSPIRED but you can not fucking go for a Shoujo Manga to learn how to treat you real life partner!!!

I think it should be COMMON SENSE. so can we please stop smashing Problematic on every fucking things we don't like or makes us uncomfortable?

I never understood why people just can't leave aside things they don't like if a story is hurting or annoying you stop fucking reading it!! As I said you have the complete right to express that you don't like it and why you don't like it for once or even twice, but if it's too much just stop reading it you don't have to say it on nonfuckingstop!! You say it once if someone agrees they may follow your opinion. stop ruining it for people who don't care or just enjoying it.

When I see these people the only thing that comes to my mind is "seems like some people can't take characters, relationships or stories with flaws and don't understand that these flaw are part of the said characters or stories if you want something perfect just go read some of them, there are tones of them, I promise. and please stop fucking reading or watching things you don't like no one will or have the rights to force you to do that"

And you might say "as you yourself said stop reading or caring about other people's opinions" you are right I should stop but I can't stop suddenly seeing other people opinions or the times I need to see them.

not that i am against the concept of international trade nor do i think tariffs are based or whatever but what is interesting is seeing how much of the american reaction comes down to “but *i* dont want to work in a factory for pennies and *i* dont want my currency to be worthless and to have to pay one billion dollars for iphone” without even acknowledging your comfort depends on a global population who is forced to live under those exact conditions. right. like it or not, for the world to exist as it does, someone’s got to do it. someone’s got to mine the precious metals, someone’s got to forge the machine parts. someone’s got to ruin their body for slave wages, somewhere. the fact that you and i don’t is a result of winning a total genetic lottery and it is the exception not the norm and do what you want with that information but at least dont be callous
