Day 1 : straight dive into my planning thoughts

Starting Oli's bday preparations i gotta keep notes otherwise my mind will overheat i just know (just so you know, future me editing here, i wrote this the day before i created this blog)

So far we're like 20 days from her bday ? (no not 20 but i hadn't counted) and don't get me wrong i've tried to think about what to do for AWHILE bc well that's how i am

Back in January ? i started wondering what i should do and my first thought was edits so i stayed on that idea without really knowing what to do, now we're 20 days (still not 20 but oh well) before her bday and i really gotta start doing stuff bc if i wanna make edits that won't do if i keep it til the day before.

So last night i sat down trying to get to THE idea, let's review all the ideas i had :

she'll be 24 should i make 24 edits ? that's gonna be so long 😭 i started making a list i need a ty one, a dy one (or just a dotae one ?) i'm definitely making a earthmix one (maybe two ?) should i attempt a dotae x earthmix one ? that's barely 6 i can't make 24 for sure also it means finding songs 🙃 this won't be easy at all

i usually make those mutual DAY pfp, i definitely need a oli one for the day

she's been talking about ATOTS for how many months ? maybe i should watch it and literally make tumblr posts with my reactions shouldn't i ? in my head it feels like a great idea

i could write her a letter or paint her something but given i can get anything to her physically she'd only have the picture of it, this is very much underwhealming

i really like the tumblr blog idea so if i end up going for it this will definitely be a post , hence why i'm taking all those notes just now, i feel like this would be a nice touch

probably will end up making a bit of a thread on twitter too, especially if i post edits, probably can fit a "letter" in that too

BACK TO MY EDIT IDEA BC I REALLY WANT TO MAKE AT LEAST ONE :

- so far i've made progress on song selection i have like 3 contestants (yes this is a competition) trying to think of which songs remind me of Oli when i'll probably end up going for one that doesn't at all but oh well, plus if i make multiple edits there will probably be at least one that screams olivia (so far all are ballads so that's still a great step,, cue the tears probably)

- i've download shit ton of earthmix videos (52 as i'm writing this) bc yes i'm starting by the earthmix one which i feel like will be the easiest, those videos come from just going through the earthmix tag on twitter : one great thing, i'm making this after the fanmeet so i'm getting a lot of content from that but also the content from this is covering up all the previous earthmix content which makes it harder

- i'm consuming so much earthmix content for this edit lord, all i'm gonna be recommended for the week to come is earthmix content i just know

*about like 2hrs after* i said easy ? yea no, my search history is all earthmix

*about another 2hrs after* ok i lied it wasn't that hard, the hardest now is having to wait to show her this with u edit is kinda cute (i say this now but we all know i'm gonna overthink it and probably think it's not cute anymore by july 15)

- i've scrolled up the media on her account to find some more mix i've gotten to the point he wasn't mentionned at all this was so strange ? oli's account without mix is so disturbing

@ oli when you end up reading this, you like too much stuff on twitter scrolling through likes is impossible

yeah thats my forever fear as a driver 😓 but idk, try not to overthink about this. everything will be good :) just remember to get some good rest before the journey and make stops during it as often as you need. i’ve first driven for 7hrs when i was 18, around half a year after getting my license and it was all good. i had my dad beside me tho. is any of your friends driver too? maybe you could switch or something?

We’re taking my Dad’s car so we don’t have to rent one and we don’t have insurance if someone else is driving, so I am the only one who will be driving lol I like driving so I don’t mind. I looked up the route and picked out a few places to stop on the way, gonna stop every 2hrs for a span of 15min each time so that we don’t add too much time onto the trip. I’d like to just drive straight through, only stopping halfway, but I know people need to pee and stretch lol also that’s an incredible thing after only driving 6 months.
