Hi! I'm alive

but i'm also still pretty sick, and i have a day job now, so running 2-3 comics in parallel isn't gonna be possible for a while. to be honest, i'm not sure i can handle a regular update schedule for one of them, but if i can i do want to start drawing again. so i'm curious:

more details:

KFC or robotchara would likely still be in colored-sketch form, and i might have to ignore asks for a couple updates while i remember what i was doing

CoL would probably have to move to a digital format - still black & white with hatching, but done fully digitally instead of scanning my sketchbook like i had been. (i don't have a good place for working on traditional art right now, and i gave my good scanner to a friend a while ago)

which one i prioritize is likely to change at some point, as i have plans i want to get to for all three (but especially CoL, since i actually have an ending planned for it), but it might be a while before that would happen

((so we’re in the “spotty updates” stage of my recovery i think; lineart is ok some days and not others so uh... “schedule” from now on is tues/thurs but i’ll be surprised if i can consistently follow it before mid-october))

Some notes:

You may have to circumvent your anivirus software to run this game.

There are downloads available for Mac, PC, and Linux.

For Mac:

Be sure to drag the app to your desktop before running it.  If you try to run it from the disk image, it will fail to save and the options menu will crash the game.

To get around the “unidentified developer” popup, right-click on the app and hit “open” from the menu. This will give you the same popup as before, but with an “open anyway” option.

For PC:

Don’t click on the file you want - click the “...” next to it and hit “download.”  Dropbox is dumb and will try to let you download only part of it.

Decompress the zip and run “game.exe” from the folder.

Let me know if something breaks - this version has been tested but not as thoroughly as the mac version.

For Linux:

This version has not been tested so please tell me if you try to run it, whether it breaks or not.

The game is free to play, but if there’s any interest I’ll put the music on bandcamp for sale (there’s no copyrighted content in the music lol).

((this is in the about but i realize its kinda buried so - they can’t see you; most of the characters wouldn’t even "hear” the parasol comment like papyrus did))
