yes, I do like them as a couple, I think it is an interesting dynamic and that Tami is good for him honestly, even though they lived completely different lives and crash so many times because of it throughout the last seasons.

fact is Lip won't ever change and will keep making the same kind of mistakes and she will get fed up with it eventually. they'll go different ways, maybe keep a somewhat friendly relationship, and she will get a new partner and Lip will have a Sean kind of relationship with Fred: that kid is the most important thing in his whole life and he's constantly hunted by the fear of drinking again and hurting Fred.

Hi! That's really sweet, thank you 🧡 I'm not sure if I will ever make edits like I used to, but I will say I do enjoy the process! I think it's a lot of fun. My experience in editing made me realize I could try animating my art, so it's really part of my evolution as an artist :)

SPG [+ Pluto] Tech Headcanons:

Pluto has a computer in their room. They use it mostly for work and to play management games

Hatchworth has a tablet. He uses it mostly for drawing but also has one or two guilty pleasure games (my only thought is that old frog collecting app, y'all know what I'm talking about?)

The Spine has his computer in the Hall of Wires, which is basically his second room. Now it's not all high-tech. I mean, it is cause they're Walter Robotics, but he doesn't have like a gaming setup or anything. He uses it to browse Wikipedia. He also has a CRT and a couple old consoles in his room in place of the computer being there

Rabbit has a laptop and a phone. Yes, she's the only one who has a smartphone. She's the one recording Spine for the band's tiktok, she mostly uses it for TikTok. She uses her laptop to go on Tumblr and it's one of those tablet convertible ones so she can also draw. It also has a ton of stickers on the back

I think the absolutely most baffling thing to me that I've noticed in the AI generated image discourse is that people seem to think that artists don't make any compromises or sacrifices ever and live perfect, comfortable lives where things just happen to align perfectly for them to have the time to create art that perfectly aligns with their vision

"I don't have the time to draw" do you really know if artists simply have the time to draw or on the contrary, have to sacrifice something to gain that time to draw? can you be so sure that they don't have to deal with hardships to gain the time to draw? or, they have the time to draw because they can't do something else in their lives due to their circumstances, and drawing is the only thing that will fill this time?

"I can't create stuff that meets my vision" how can you be so sure that the stuff artists create meets their vision? do you really think this art was their vision from the absolute beginning? or did they actually have to make compromises to reach this specific look, which maybe wasn't what they aimed for to begin with? can you even be sure if the medium they spend the most time on is the medium they intended to pick up from the beginning, or is it a medium they've had to pick up to compromise for not picking up another art form they wanted to stick to in the first place due to myriads of reasons?

i know it’s just that i’ve started act 2 and im progressing a lot of the plot right now, but it does come across as very funny that astarion is establishing a committed relationship with me right after congratulating me on doing all these morally dubious gaining-dark-powers things

my current works in progress are all brainstorming and writing for summerfest, which will all be posted soonish anyway so I shan't post excerpts of any of that ahead of time. HOWEVER part of that is a slightly longer piece that I am making copious notes for whenever whim strikes. so this wip wtuesday is an insight into whatever the fuck my process is. very curious as to whether any of it makes any kind of external sense

Yearly recap and future plans

I don't believe I missed any days this year, but I still need to figure out why my day count was 1 off at some point.

I had a lot less time this year to dedicate to art, and there was a lot of stagnation because of it.

I'm picking a little at beginning to do some studies and style exploration, so I hope I can get more into that in '24

I didn't get a chance to do Any of last years goals very much, so here's to hoping '24 will pan out better.

As per the poll listed earlier this year (I was told there was 1 misclick) it looks like the plan for future posting will be:

Post days for the week will be on.... tentatively? Friday.

I will queue them across the length of the day.

Hopefully I can get back to a position where daily posting is possible, but for now I want to commit to something I can at least do consistently

while it's been a few months now and I've definitely been typing a lot, am also definitely still getting used to the keyboard on my thinkpad a little (i accidentally hit the numlock key a lot when trying to backspace lol) —

one thing i didn't realize got so hammered into me is that i keep forgetting i can... use capslock......... to type all caps...?? i got so used to the capslock key on my old shitty laptop being busted i'm too accustomed to just holding shift down and hurting myself LOL
