Oh yes, my dear Flo, I’ve been thinking about this story for quite some time.

Reader is a rich socialite and is engaged to Erwin Smith, an up-and-coming government official. Erwin is old money, and his family has long been patrons of artists in Paris. Levi is a young, starving artist, eager to make his mark on the world; he hates that he has to paint portraits of the rich elite to get by, but it allows him to pay the rent and produce the art he really wants to create in his free time. Art is his obsession.

Until he meets Reader. She’s bold, opinionated, and headstrong, and has no problem keeping up a conversation with the men around her. There’s a freedom about her that Levi envies.

But there’s no freedom to her life. Her father is forcing her to marry Erwin because it’ll be a smart social move for their family, and although she respects Erwin she doesn’t love him. She yearns to be free of her guilded cage - to love who she wants, and go wherever she pleases.

Will Reader and Levi dare to find the freedom they yearn for in each other? And if they do, are they prepared for the consequences?

guys what to do if you spend aver an hour and a half literally Just thinking about them like what’s next and then as SOOn as you go to text them they text you like perfectly timed and THEN when they have to stop texting they say “I love you” before disappearing (something they don’t do normally) and on top of that they’ve been more clingy to you and saying things like “I just want to take a nap on your lap rn” WHICH THEY NEVER DID BEFORE
