Do you have a Chrobin playlist? Don’t be shy.

Oh man. Had to wait til after work to answer this because I knew it was going to take me a while LOL. 

So like—I do have a chrobin playlist. Or actually I have a couple because one is more generally applicable, one is specifically for songs that make me think of them in the context of Half Orange or similar scenarios (anything along the lines of a secret relationship where they’re on different pages about its permanence), and then I also have some other people’s chrobin playlists saved from youtube and spotify. So I’m just…gonna throw a sampling of all those here. The songs are not really in any specific order, I usually just listen to them on shuffle so there's not really a smooth sonic or narrative progression. Also I probably should apologize up front for the amount of Taylor Swift and Vienna Teng but I am not going to.

The twins sat on either side of the couch with Andrew and Joel sitting between them, our driver sat on the other couch with Tommy's head on her shoulder and Henry's head on her knees as she sat back with her feet up on the coffee table with Allison sitting on the other side of Henry and Edward somewhere down the hall with Roge who made his way back with snacks refills , the elders were out in the back getting some air and enjoying the evening as the rest stayed in .

Little Marc back then not older than 11 months made his way to the coffee table and stood on wobbly legs, using the table for support as he reached with a determined look overtaking his face for his bottle, which was left on the table as the rest went in and out with no notice of it, he managed to grab it and dragged it all the way to him , unaware of everyone pausing their conversation to see what he's up to . He fiddled with the lid before he yanked it with a 'pop!' before setting it down on the table then proceeded to take one sip before nodding to himself with a satisfied humm , but his head snapped up as he heard the quite chanting of "drink , drink ,drink!" Making him giggle a bit before taking another sip earning a cheer of 'yeah !' that made him giggle louder and repeated the action then proceeded to chug down the whole bottle as everyone was now chanting loudly " Drink! Drink! Drink! " Clapping and banging at the table . Then they roared in cheers when he slammed the empty bottle on the the table with a satisfied look of accomplishment hands raised in triumph and threw his head back in a loud burst of giggles as everyone cheered louder " yeaaaah!!!!!" .

Winterland sliding driveway :

Andrew sat by the window and pointed his his phone out to record what his cousins were doing outside, she was seen sitting down next to Roge on the porch after offering him a cup of coffee to sip on as he enjoyed the evening air despite the literally freezing weathers , they enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, even for a moment of time they took it as it is , that is until a loud yelp followed by a thud interrupted from the end of the driveway where Henry was on his back , a pained expression on his face , the two grimaced but chose not to move or get involved as laughter came from the garage door where Eddie was standing with Tommy behind him as they were heading out , and he was also laughing a bit , Eddie stepped one foot out and soon found himself beside his cousin who took his turn to laugh at him , both turned at the sound of Tommy's own scream as he slipped and slided all the way till he reached them at the bottom , pumping his head with Henry as he came to a stop.

The two sitting on the porch shook their heads after sharing a look then proceeded to sip on their drinks as they watched the three trying and failing miserably to get on their feet , nodding in agreement as lilly stood at the front door beside them as she halted her steps when she took one look at the scene " it's early, it's waaaay too early to deal with this . whatever that is " then turned and shut the door on her way back inside .

Homemade Pasta from hell :

Smoke filled the kitchen making the detector peep like sirens all around the first floor, crashing Potts and thudding sounds were heard as the two guys went around the kitchen screaming as they ran back and forth looking for something . On the door to the chaos centre our driver stood with her arms crossed, face deadpanned and ready to smack the wits out of their chicken heads brains but refrained from doing so , looking at the stove where a literally flaming pan was , she turned to glare as they pumped and wrecked havoc, breaking one of her favourite mugs along with two plates of her precious custom-made gifted set given to her by Magnuson last Christmas , oh she'd make them pay for that , but now she had to restrain from committing double homicide then and there , looking at one of the windows where Andrew and Henry stood watching with a camera capturing the scene with a wicked grin , zooming at her face as she looked back at the due still running around at full speed with a look contemplating life among other things .

She gave them two minutes , and when they failed to get their shit together she walked in in silence making them halt and gulp , watching as she went right below the smoke detector and raised the broom she held in her hand up and slammed it once to deactivate the alarm , then turned wordlessly to lift the oven mittens which were discarded by the sink, making them gasp in realization , watching as she moved to take the still flaming pan off the stove after turning it off and dumped it in the sink, taking out a small sized fire extinguisher from under the sink to put it out .

While she was busy they coward into a corner and prayed to every higher power to be spared , glaring daggers at their cousins who was cackling from the window but turned to give their ultimate innocent puppy eyes but were met with a cold stare , crossing her arms again them looked around the dirty dishes , eggshells on the floor , flour and oil spilled on the counter top before back at them , making them gulp visibly as they waited for the doom awaiting them .

Of law fundamentals and glittery butterflies :

A high pitched scream rung around the garden, but everyone gave one glance before focusing back on what they were doing . Andrew was on the ground face down while screaming his head off , trying to move out from the headlock he was trapped into . Our driver was on top of his back with scowl on her face as she called " take it back ! " , one arm around his neck and the other holding his arm behind his back , he gave another scream with his free hand hitting the grass he was lying on " NEVER! " , he tried to roll on his side but she tightened her hold and shook his shoulders in demand pointing at Tommy who was sitting Infront of the with his legs crossed , sipping from juice box as he waited with nonchalant manner " apologize, now ! Or so help me ! " He refused with a 'NO!' making her smirk , she held his arm with her knee and held her now free hand out for Tommy, who handed her a glittering hot pink marker .

" You brought this upon yourself Andy " she uncapped the Marker with her teeth then proceeded to draw on his forehead while he trashed around , she asked with curiosity " Tomtom, remind me again, how long does this marker last ? " He took a loud sip then answered with a shrug " three to four weeks if he was lucky " tilting his head as he observed the art she was making on his forehead " oh , add butterflies to the sides " she nodded with a humm as she was finishing the flowers above his eyebrows then moved to the side where she perfected the first two , messing the third when he moved causing a long line to swipe from his temple to his jaw " I have a presentation on Tuesday! You can't do this to me ! " She smiled smugly " I sure can , and I just did . Let just hope your professor likes my art " .

Henry walked by with a plate filled with fries, offering some to Tommy and fed her some as she was occupied at the moment, tilting his head to observe and gave a nod of approval " nice work " making her give a thumb up with a giddy " thank yoooou~ " and went on his way leaving his brother to plead for his face to be spared but to no avail. " I told you if you keep talking shit , you'll get what you deserve" , he trashed harder " it was a joke! " , " Tommy's haircut isn't a joke , but you know what is ? . Your face when you present the fundamentals of law practices against civil rights movement in the 20th century with a face of hot pink butterflies! " . Roge called from the door " green goes perfectly with pink ! " Making her give an "oooh~ " and throw aside the marker , taking the now offered neon green one and proceeded to work .

Two days after that one of Andrew's friends send them a video of the awaited presentation, where everyone was impressed to say the least with how serious Andy was presenting his topic while everyone was too focused on his colorful face to make a sound . The professor was beyond amused but tried to keep it in while giving evaluation at the end , glasses sliding on the bridge of his nose as he spoke " alright folks! , now , Andrew. Great work on the civil rights movements and the data collected verification was spot on , steady flow and overall a job done well . That'll be 9.3 for the presentation and 10 for the face art " everyone gave a laughed as they clapped for Andy who facepalmed and groaned in his hands, looking at his friend who was recording the whole thing and discreetly gave the camera two middle fingers when the professor turned around .

Monopoly gang :

Roge was standing before the screen , watching the football match , or trying to with a drink in his hand and the other on his waist as he turned out the chaos ensuing behind him .

The camera zoomed out and it was a sight to say the least , Henry's voice sounded " this why monopoly was banned in the L/N's family for the past two years . It's traumatizing " . Edward was looking like he was about to pop a vein , with Andrew and Tommy laughing their heads off on the floor , Joel was looking into the void while lilly was standing with her shades on , throwing Monopoly Money on our driver who was flipping her hair back and put on her shades for extra effect ، fanning herself with the fake money , blowing Eddie a kiss who was holding a jail card for the second time that evening , making him point at the two girls in accusation " you both cheated ! " , making them scoff at him with scowls upon their faces .

Henry spoke as he zoomed in on the girls " oooh no , they'll bury him alive " . Not a second later the table got flipped and they were trying to hold back the two raging girls from Eddie as the kept arguing " sour loser! " , " Cheating gremlins! " A broken vase and a missing table leg later they were all sitting in the sofa, heads down like a with a pissed off Roge who glared back at them when anyone tried to get up or move , then turned back to the screen.

As much as I want aftg to get a tv show adaptation, the casting would be near impossible if we want it to be really accurate. I know a lot of people share fancasts and stuff, but I'm not sure if anyone has talked about some of the more odd requirements for casting.

Kevin: around 6 ft, speaks French and Japanese Andrew: 5ft or like to be realistic 5'3'' (the statistic likelihood for this is still super low), speaks German (or willing to learn some for the role) Aaron: probably has to be the same actor as Andrew cause what are the chances that actor also has a twin Neil: around 5'3'' (or somewhat under average height), speaks French and German, also willing to learn some Japanese for some lines, a ginger with blue eyes (if not eye contacts and hair dye...at least that would be in character) Nicky: speaks German

I feel like Matt, Allison, Renee, Dan, and the rest of the characters have like more general requirements since they aren’t like constantly talking in other languages.

But yeah unless the casting agency miraculously finds polyglots who look and act like the characters, like how would the show be done? I mean sure they could just learn lines for the role, but they would have to do a pretty decent job because speaking poorly wouldn't really make sense for some of their backstories (maybe except Andrew and Aaron cause we can argue their language proficiency in German might not be the highest comparably). For everyone else, I'm assuming they have around a B2-C1 (high-intermediate/advanced) level in these languages (for Japanese it would be probably around N3-N2 level).

And them speaking in other languages plays a considerable role in multiple scenes, especially all the scenes where Neil reveals that he speaks another language or uses languages to conceal information from other characters, so it’s not exactly an easy thing to write out either.

Anyways there are like probably a hundred other reasons this book can’t/will not be filmed by anyone, but logically even if a studio is okay with all the trigger warnings, the scenes when they speak in other languages in the book would make it pretty difficult to adapt successfully.
