Botox for Professionals & Outdoor Enthusiasts in Pune: How Lifestyle & Climate Impact Skin Aging
In Pune’s fast-paced urban life, where corporate professionals juggle demanding schedules and entrepreneurs spend hours under the sun, skin concerns like fine lines, wrinkles, and premature aging are becoming more common. Factors like prolonged screen exposure, air-conditioned offices, pollution, and the city’s fluctuating climate all contribute to visible signs of aging. If you’ve been noticing forehead lines, crow’s feet, or dull skin, Botox treatment in Pune offers a proven way to restore a refreshed, youthful look. But how does your lifestyle impact your skin’s aging process, and is Botox the right solution for you? Let’s explore how different work environments and daily routines influence skin health—and how the right treatment can help you maintain a naturally smooth and confident appearance.
Anjali Mehta, Age - 32
Corporate Professional
My work environment is constantly air-conditioned, making my skin dry and lifeless. Will Botox help restore hydration and a youthful glow?
Long hours in air-conditioned environments can strip moisture from your skin, leading to fine lines and dullness. Botox can help smooth wrinkles and improve skin texture by relaxing facial muscles, giving your skin a more refreshed and youthful look. Complementing Botox with a good skincare routine, including deep hydration treatments, can help combat the effects of artificial cooling.
Frequent stress and long work hours make my forehead lines and crow’s feet more prominent. Can Botox effectively soften them?
Stress and fatigue can accelerate wrinkle formation, especially around the forehead and eyes. Botox is designed to target these areas by relaxing the underlying muscles, reducing the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. If your lifestyle involves constant stress, regular Botox sessions combined with stress-management techniques can help maintain a refreshed appearance.
Rohan Patil, Age - 42
Entrepreneur & Outdoor Enthusiast
I spend a lot of time outdoors, and the harsh Pune sun has given me noticeable forehead lines. Can Botox help, or should I look at other options?
Continuous sun exposure accelerates skin aging, leading to fine lines and deeper wrinkles. Botox can effectively reduce these forehead lines by relaxing the facial muscles responsible for their formation. For best results, combining Botox with sun protection and antioxidant-rich skincare will help combat UV-induced damage.
Exposure to pollution and dust from construction sites is making my skin age faster. Will Botox work for deep wrinkles?
Pollution and dust contribute to oxidative stress, breaking down collagen and causing premature aging. While Botox works well for expression lines, deeper wrinkles may benefit from a combination of Botox and collagen-boosting treatments. A personalized skincare approach can further help counteract the effects of environmental damage.

your girlhood was marred by war, but you would not let fear force your hand. you emerged from the battlefield alive, though not unscathed, and stood tall to reveal your childish whimsey cupped safely in the palm of one trembling palm. they spoke of tragedy, but what better cure is there for suffering than hope?

Shreyas Talpade on playing Schizophrenic patient In Zindaginama, “Tried to portray it in as real a manner as possible”
The talented Shreyas Talpade is character of a schizophrenic patient in Applause Entertainment’s Zindaginama. Apart from the anthology, he also spoke about the serious health crisis he went through earlier this year when he suffered a heart attack.

Shreyas Talpade on playing Schizophrenic patient In Zindaginama, “Tried to portray it in as real a manner as possible”
“I guess unless you empathize with the characters, you won't be able to do that. So, yes, I personally also after this whole medical crisis that happened, it has changed a lot of things for me. But this character is something that I actually performed and portrayed before my medical crisis. But my life has pretty much changed after that. Not only the medical crisis, but I think after you play any character for that matter, every character will teach you something and you take back something with you after you're done playing that. So, this was no different,” he said.
“It has taught me a lot,” he added. “And as far as precautions are concerned, I just want to tell everyone, never ever take your life for granted. I think I am just extremely grateful for this opportunity that God has given me. You know, being born and being here on this planet is a boon. And I think we just should be grateful about it and not take it for granted even for a single second. Because trust me, it is just that one second that changes everything for you. It did for me in a massive manner. I don't want this to happen with anyone what happened with me, but I definitely want people to be a little more cautious, take more precautions. Times are changing. It's a different world that we're living in. We have to be a little more cautious about our health. Because you know, we keep saying that health is wealth, but we rarely tend to follow it. But health is wealth. So do not take your health, your life for granted and just be grateful for the gift of life.”
Speaking on why he chose to be a part of this anthology on mental health, Shreyas said, “Essentially, two reasons. One, my wife is a clinical psychologist and most of her friends are also from the same fraternity, they're psychiatrists or psychologists. And, you know, whenever we used to meet, they would tell me inspiring stories about how people would continue with therapy for quite some time and recover and, you know, or get better at what they were doing. This is something that I always felt challenging to portray as an actor and when this part came in, there's no reason why I would refuse it because I had never played a character like this before. So, that was the second reason why I thought I should, you know, try it out.”
Shreyas took his wife’s help to play the role. “I tried to portray it in as real a manner (as possible),” he said. “So, in the script, he has demanded a certain amount of realism and sensitivity associated with that character. And obviously, my director Sukriti (Tyagi) was, you know, more than helpful. I always keep saying that I am a director's actor, and she had done her homework really well. So, that really helped me to perform it better. Plus, I think if you have co-actors like Anjali Patil, they also add a lot of value and help you perform better. So, yeah, these factors, I guess, were kind of responsible.”
“I think somewhere when you portray such a character, the first thing that as an actor you do is you try to read the mind of that character. You go into his backstory, or if there is no backstory, you try to make a backstory. What is he like? How does he sleep? What time does he sleep? What does he eat? Who does he speak with? What is his profession? What was he doing before? So, you try to get into all of those and then automatically when the character’s background is clear, that’s when it becomes a lot more easier for you to just gel in and keep portraying. I could feel to a very large extent what that character felt. Obviously, what the patients go through is something which we will never be completely able to understand. But I tried to feel it as much as possible and then portray it on screen,” said Shreyas.
He added, “And to be very honest, I think, you know, physical illnesses, you can still probably pop a tablet and maybe apply some ointment, and you can get some kind of relief. But I think mental illnesses, it is not only the medication, but also the family support or support of all the caregivers that makes a huge difference in their life. That is equally important whenever there is a mental health issue concerned. So, medical crisis or not, I empathize with all my characters. This one is special, this one was tough, this one was challenging. I wanted to make sure that, you know, of course, apart from keeping it in the real space, I also wanted to keep it as authentic as possible and not really go overboard in emoting it in any manner.”

Hutatma Review

July 13, 2019
by Inakshi Chandra-Mohanty
In South Mumbai, in the district of Fort, is a square officially named Hutatma Chowk, which houses the famous Flora Fountain and a statue of a martyr with a flame that stands right beside it. The square was earlier known by the name Flora Fountain, as that monument was an integral part of that area, but was changed to Hutatma Chowk, translated as Martyr’s Square, in 1961, five years after hundreds of members of the Samyukta Maharashtra Samiti were injured and lost their lives, as the police opened fire on their peaceful demonstration. For those that don’t know much about the history of Maharashtra, this organization was composed of Marathi commoners that were against Bombay becoming a city state like Delhi and advocated for a separate Marathi-speaking state that included Bombay. This is the setting for the new Zee5 web series, Hutatma, which is based off of a Marathi novel of the same name, written by Meena Deshpande. Though the setting is real, the characters are fictional. It begins with the bloody shootout that took lives of many and chronicles the journey of one young woman, Vidyut Sawant (Anjali Patil), who gets involved in the politics of “United Maharashtra” after her father is killed in the protest at the fountain, on his way home from work.
From a technical standpoint, the show is fantastic in its production value. It is not easy to recreate India in the 1950s. However, the makers of Hutatma have been very careful in each detail, from the costumes to the set design. The cinematography is brilliant, especially when it comes to portraying Vidyut on screen. The way in which the camera lingers on her even as other characters in the scene are speaking, allows the audience to see her reaction, exposing us to the many different layers of her character.
The first season primarily deals with Vidyut’s internal issues and vulnerabilities as she attempts to come to terms with her father’s death and wanders across the various groups in the hope that one of them will be suitable for her goals. She is naïve and young, and makes many mistakes in her quest for justice. By the second season, she is firm in her path and has transitioned from a lost, grief-stricken girl, into a manipulative and determined woman that will go to any extent to avenge her father’s death even if that means making enemies of people who were once her friends. Anjlai Patil breathes life into this character. The way she portrays the layers and complexities of this character is remarkable. Her role is reminiscent of a character, Durga, that she had played in the 2013 film, Naa Bangaaru Talli. Though the situations and forces around her are different, both Vidyut and Durga go through a similar journey of an innocent girl pushed into a dark world.
The writing and direction of the first season are concise and gripping. Though the focus is primarily on Vidyut’s journey, the show introduces many other characters to establish the nature of the movement, and display the different facets to the struggle. It is heavily biased towards the Marathi people, and most of the narrative is told from their perspective. However, it doesn’t show them purely as victims and heroes. There are people like Malini Tai (Ashwini Kalsekar) and Bhimabai (Chhaya Kadam) who believe in non-violent, peaceful protests. There are those like Abhay (Vaibhav Tatwawaadi) and his communist group, who use violence for their means but only to the extent of scaring the government, not hurting any one of them. And there are those like Guru (Nitin Bhajan), who use bombs and guns and will go to any extent to achieve their goals, even if it means attempting to kill the Prime Minister. While the audience is made sympathetic towards all these characters, especially since there are very few non-Marathi characters in the show, they are also exposed to the flaws that make these characters human.
In the second season, the writing is weaker. Since the characters have already been established, this season has to develop the character arcs. However, except for Vidyut and Abhay, the remaining characters are given less importance, and the new characters that are introduced are not as interesting as the characters from the first season. Therefore, though the plot still remains intriguing, there are many scenes, especially the ones that don’t have Vidyut or Abhay, that lag. There are also many loopholes in the story towards the end of the season, such as Leela’s motivations, or how certain characters knew secrets that they shouldn’t have known. Hopefully, a third season will shed some light on these plot points.
Despite the flaws in the storytelling of the second season, Hutatma is still one of the best web series to come out of India. Filled with tremendous performances, and an exciting storyline, not only is it extremely engaging, but it is also informative for those that don’t have much knowledge of the United Maharashtra movement in 1950s India.
