Let us tell you about the thing we are trying to make THE THING for Fic.Fan.

So, you know that terrible feeling when you really want to write something, anything, but you just don't seem to know where to start? Or you have an idea brooding somewhere in the back of your mind, and it's good, and you know that it's good, but you can't quite grasp the atmosphere? Yeah, we've been there, alright.

That's why we decided to post a new set of prompts for each day of every month. We know that there are so many wonderful prompts creators here, on Tumblr, so we decided to follow in their footsteps.

This month we decided to focus on poetry and lines from the poems. You can base your work on the line provided, or on the poem or the atmosphere it creates.

So, we’re just gonna come right out and say it: we’re a brand-new fanfiction website, and we’re super excited to meet you. Like, imagine us waving at you from across the room at a fandom convention, but less awkward and more “hey, we made this thing for you!” :)
