apryl, in all honesty? my sanity is hanging by a thread, like, i thought we got all the content but then that behind the scenes vid happened and they were all 'sike, you've only seen the tip of the iceberg' and just- how am i supposed to handle that? also we're getting the music video and performance on gma on the same day, plus a performance video two days later and we're going to get to see the choreo which could possibly be just as deadly as the menace that is my time........i may actually spontaneously combust. so no, i'm not okay at all lol. i thank you for checking up on me, means a lot 💗

LOL, that you did but I completely understand, it's really hard to narrow it down when literally all of their title tracks are just that good. I had to rearrange my top 10 yet again and I think it's set? We'll see because that could always change in the future but for now, the order is as follows:

I finally finished the Florence performance and I AM A MESS. Blinding? Haunting. Hurricane Drunk?? Ethereal. COSMIC LOVE???? So powerful. And then she spoke about how the first album was all about feeling and I WEPT!!!!! AND THEN BETWEEN TWO LUNGS????? "as it pushes past my lips and i gasp" That gasp tore right through me and I wept even more. Dog Days when everyone was clapping OMG I WISH I WAS THERE. And Falling was the perfect ending. I'm sad it'll only available for the next 18 days so I'll have to listen to it a lot more!!!!

i honestly feel like you summed up every thought and feeling i've had since experiencing this event in person; the interesting thing to me when she mentioned that anecdote about lungs being an album entirely swept up in emotion is i think this about all of her albums but in different ways. she embraces all of the complex things she goes through, and i appreciate that because it's definitely helped me do the same regardless of where i've been in life. but yes, it'll only be up for a little while longer so you should. conclusion? we're florence fans now and forever wbk 💖

I'm listening to more of Florence's performance and I feel like I can't breathe during Girl with One Eye and then you are so correct about the transition between Hardest of Hearts and then Rabbit Heart!!! I'm sobbing during Rabbit Heart especially the line about shedding her skin and then she starts talking about how patient everyone has been with her and what does it mean that they're coming in in 8 bars and I'm dying laughing 😂😂😂

oh, girl with one eye was made even more haunting with the addition of the orchestra, i genuinely felt a chill run down my spine but in the best possible way. right? i was floored, it was such a seamless transition too, again props to the person who arranged that and rabbit heart *sighs* i have such a personal relationship with that song, much like the lyric about shedding skin, i feel like it has morphed into an anthem of varying themes depending on where i've been/or am at in life.

lol, i laughed so hard because yeah, unless you learn the basics? you might not know, so i felt for her. anyway, i'm glad you had a good time listening to the broadcast, she's such a wonder to behold live and i know i just saw her but i'm already counting down the days until it happens again 🩷

I am blown away thinking about the amazing people I've had the chance to meet because we love the same thing. I love all the messages we've shared, I love all the posts we've tagged each other in, I love all the gifs you've made for me (even the ones that made me suffer WHICH WAS ALL OF THEM!!!), I love all the conversations we've had. apryl, i was already crying and now this is going to add to that; it's always bewildering to me, how connections are formed through the most unexpected of things but i've met so many wonderful people through these 7 men and you are one of them. the thing is you never know how online friendships are going to go, i think i've become a little wary after seeing so many fade in the past but when i tell you that you helped me out of that, i mean it. i have come to treasure every interaction, every random reel you send me, the convos we've had where i inevitably go on a tangent because i can't help myself lol, taking the time to make gifs for you etc. no matter how i feel about so many things on this site, one thing remains clear: i am grateful for your friendship and it's what makes my time here meaningful. it wouldn't be the same without you and our tiny circle of friends. i am the luckiest person to know you and i wish you the absolute best, i hold you close to my heart always and i hope you never forget that 💞

nothing like having a discussion about our queen to kickstart the day, i'm not surprised, i feel like this song is a favourite among all fatm fans. also, the final chorus? tell me that's not a direct reference to the 'these chains never leave me, i keep dragging them around' lyric from delilah aka acknowledging that you know you could free yourself from whatever hell you're in but you kind of choose not to? obviously there are a lot of outside factors that lend to analogy as well but it's fascinating to see a running thematic arc throughout the whole album. it really plays into the ideology of change being stagnated, which is contradictory because i always say change is the one thing that's constant in life & happens regardless but not in the instance of ones' self, i feel like.

okay, that's enough of me being a nerd, apparently there's no off switch for that lol. thank you for this, apryl and apt timing too since i see her at royal albert hall in about 4 months, SCREAMING
