Just so y'all know, I've been working on Afterburn 8 in Google Dicks and rarely check into AO3 until I'm ready to upload something (and obviously have not been ready), so that is why this has only now been noticed.

No hate to Jerome at the moment (sigh) for this because he didn't do this. This was that psychotic cunt who used his namesake to harass me last week; since, Jerome and I have had somewhat of a truce even though I've seen him recently still wading in the pool with these fuckless fuckbunnies, enabling all of that Ortega x Carpenter shipping from those Met Gala afterparty photos. ETA: And still interjecting his own armchair advice — along with that childish goonsquad — about the fucking DeNiro project. But that's neither here nor there right now. 😑

Whoever did this to him really needs to be outed and exposed for the vile little puta that she is.

And then I started thinking, "Christ, whoever did this does not like Jerome at all." You have to really dislike someone to be able to casually impersonate him to harass me like that. Dislike, with a whole fucking fatt serving of callous cruelty swirled on top.

Sometimes you need to read something twice to get it. You might need to watch a movie three times to understand it. You might have to have that album on repeat for a week until the lyrics make any sense. You're allowed to engage with it and can keep engaging with it until it means something to you. People will see a painting at a museum and laugh about not getting what the big deal is but like you can come back, you can see it at another time, and maybe that next time it'll be different for you. I'm of the belief the "media literacy crisis" would solve itself if more people just sat down and did it again. Watched, read, played, listened, etc like I don't think people are getting more ignorant necessarily I just think we're not glorifying personally replaying things nearly as much as we should be.
