You wouldn't believe what I've found while going through some of my high school memorabilia !

(Yes it's my very first AROIIS fic. I don't think I've ever published this one anywhere, it was handwritten in an old diary. No it's not Isatienne)

I posted it on anon, I thought it quite fitting for AROIIS (and I have a small fanbase that doesn't follow me for AROIIS stuff)

I was inspired by @isabeth-apologist to share one of my old fics as well! It's sad that ao3 hasn't been able to archive the old aroiis forums, I remember a lot of good fics from back then :(

I already submitted it to @icerosesummerbracket a bit ago, but why not post it to ao3 to make it more official? And maybe I'll write a new fic to help really ring in this fandom revival!

I haven't thought about it in years, but aroiis was the first fandom I ever wrote a fic for (not that I ever posted it haha). I was so attached to Alexandria that I convinced myself that either she faked her death or they'd actually pull off the ritual successfully in the end. And then the last book came out and she was dead for real and Rose finally had that scene where she left the orchids at the memorial site, which was supposed to show that she finally accepted that there was no going back to before? And I just could not accept it, so I wrote a fix-it fic where the most Mary Sue OC of OCs saved Alexandria. It wasn't bad for something a stubborn twelve year-old wrote, though

Favorite AROIIS characters 8/12 : Rose

(Hi, @icerosesummerbracket !)

Headcanon : Carter (canonically I think ? if not it's a big fandom thing but I don't know where it comes from) helps Madame Spiceberry make miniature cushions and doilies and quilts for the dolls and the houses with scraps of fabric for her own.

But I also think Rose spends a lot of time in the room with the doll house, moving the characters as she's thinking and arranging the accessories. Kivan comes sculpt some doll furniture into scraps of wood when she's there and he wants to talk to her.

Once he carved Ellana's flower (I don't remember what they're called in English) on a little nightstand before realizing what he was doing. Someone (it's going to be me, isn't it ?) should write a fic where Ellana finds out (yes I'm considering a Killana moodboard)

Back in the day I remember reading this one aroiis fic that had this really interesting concept where like, when two people are linked by this one spell, if one of them gets hurt then flowers will sprout in the same place as the injury on the other person. It was really good for creating tension when two linked characters were separated and all of a sudden they start sprouting flowers...
