I got this thought in my head, later on in a mc/ash/rin poly, when they're all sleeping in the same bed together, and rin and ash both think they're hugging the mc, but then they realise they're hugging eachother and not the mc, how would they react? Would they be normal about it and continue hugging, or would they be like UGH and shift back to original position or something?

The latter one 😂 Once they both realize, they’d shoot each other a side-eye before rolling back to their original positions.

You know the Hayden-Nix poly, reminds me the Rin-MC-Ash V poly dinamic in the if "Vendetta" (it's amazing if you haven't read it I higly recommend it!), both Ash and Rin are more then willing to get down and dirty with MC both at the same time (and they do it in the spicy side stories 🤭), IF, and only IF, they touch and are touched only by MC 🤭. In an ask, someone asked how would they react if during the night MC got up from the bed, and instead of hugging MC (they sleep all 3 together with MC in the middle) they hugged eachother for mistake, the Author answered that, they would notice, wake up, stop immediately, give the eachother the stink eye and scoot back on their side of the bed, waiting for MC to come back 🤣🤣🤣

I can see the resemblance 😆🤣 Hayden and Nix definitely won't get along when they meet, although they may set aside their differences for the MC and others, they really don't have any intentions of getting any closer than necessary.

P.S: One of them might "accidentally" kick the other if they were in that situation.

Hi! About the Zodiac and Ace poly - i’m definitely gonna try it cause it sounds super fun, but how do you trigger it in game? Is there a way to flirt with them both that isn’t leading one of them on? Like do they have to have the exact same level of romance points with the mc for it to work?

Alright, the way the poly options will work is quite simple. You will have several opportunities to flirt with each member of the team separately. There will also be opportunities to flirt with two ROs at the same time, if they are hanging out together, for example, but the option will only appear if you have already flirted with both of them prior to that moment.

Each RO has a flirt/romance meter, and each poly couple also has a flirt/romance meter. So to enter a poly relationship, you only have to make sure to flirt with both of them whenever you can and then choose to lock the relationship when the time comes. 

@vendetta-if has a similar system involving Ash and Rin. 😎

Ofc! First I can think of is the V poly Ash-MC-Rin for Vendetta if (they already are kind of childhood friends but when they realize that they can just share MC, instead of fight for their affection, they will be will be closer friends). In Fallen Hero there is an option for Ortega-MC-Herald poly, you could choose if a V or a triad, but I'm not sure if it's still like that (or if now it's only the triad option), another is Steel-male!MC or NB!MC-Ortega.

Going to combine all four asks and try to answer them together! I have actually read some of these, so I'll give my thoughts.

Vendetta

I actually played the demo a long time ago. I had already decided to romance Ash as soon as I got the moment to, but I never really thought about romancing anyone else since that was the only one at the time that I was interested in. I am a SUCKER for childhood friends to lovers! I love too much games with said recurring theme and I always go for the friend. Every. Single. Time.

Rin is an interesting character too, but I only tried their romance options to see how they would react. Then I would backtrack and click the friendly option.

When I played it, the demo had stopped at the part where you are breaking into the penthouse and you hear music or something. I don't know if it has changed since, but I know more chapters were added. I just have not played them yet.

But good to know about that v-poly! Never knew it existed before but now I know.

Never played it, likely because you have to pay for the full version. But I have heard things about Ortega. I think. On forums.

Anyway...

Keeper of Midnight

When I looked it up, I realized the author, C.C. Hill, is the one also behind When Life Gives You Lemons. I loved the demo at the time! So it was nice to see a familiar name.

Love and Lease

The blog for this game actually came up in my recommended. I have no idea how that happened...looking at the slice-of-life games I love to play...but I did hear about the poly routes! I don't know who I'd go for, though. The options are just too good and too many.

Are Kara and Isaac really a v-poly? I knew they were a poly, but I didn't know they were a v-poly.

But typically I don't romance the female characters. I really should. But I don't.

I just played Vendetta! It's a really interesting interactive fiction novel where you play as the child of a vigilante (who also happens to be a part of a mafia family)! With superpowers, too! Everything's better with superpowers.

My MC, Valentine 'Val' Kozlov (haven't exactly decided on whether Val is a he or they, so I'll just. he/they lol), is a joy to play as — mostly charming yet ruthless and definitely loyal to their family. They've decided to split their attention between becoming the heir and becoming a vigilante like their dad.

And, well... Ash/Rin poly romance for the win! Seriously, you can't just throw a 'childhood friend romance where the RO is easily flustered by the MC' trope at me and expect me not to love it! Add that with 'ice queen who is soft around only a few people they trust' trope and I'm dead.

Can't wait for the next update! Love author's writing style as well. I highly recommend this game, though fair warning (bit of a spoiler) there are some violent(?) fight scenes and a torture scene at one point, though you'll get the chance to skip the latter.

Like I know it ain't Christmas anymore (but we're just gonna ignore that fact because you're gonna like this ask UwU) but just imagine.

They're all together having dinner and having fun. And they decided to do a secret Santa. Rin didn't know what to give MC so they gave MC a spicy photo with a dedication behind, but there's a mix up and Ash ends up receiving it.

After repeditly replaying the new @vendetta-if demo I made my MC Katerina in the Sims with her two childhood sweethearts/poly relationship, Ash and Rin.

I even decided to play around with the genetic features to see what a potential kid might look like. Considering Rin has the highest sex drive out of this trio, despite having such a seemingly cold and stoic personality, lbr it's only a matter of time Kitty will wind up pregnant when they're all living together.

Looks like randomizer gave them a son. Aww, what a little cutie pie! Think I'll call the kiddo Viktor since Kitty seems like the type of person who'd name her first son after her dad.

Oh wow, look at that hair! It's not surprising considering both Rin and Kitty got such gorgeous thick dark hair. Although I imagine Kitty probably suffered a lot of heartburn during her pregnancy for her son to be born with a full head of hair like that. Thankfully, between Rin's cooking and Ash making late night trips to 24 hr pharmacy, they'd make a good team to help Katerina both during the pregnancy and raising their little boy together.

Aww, it looks like little Viktor got a leather jacket to match with his Mama Ash. Tbh I could see little Viktor becoming a Mommy's Boy🤔. He does love his dad, and lbr Rin would probably try to live up to the example of his own father. It's just personality wise. Katerina is probably more similar to Takashi than Rin is. They're both tall, gregarious people, and much like her father in law I could see Kitty being very cuddly and affectionate with her children. Also, Ash rides a motorcycle, so that automatically makes her the cool mom. Although in retrospect it's funny, to imagine Rin's reaction when he realizes he fell in love, married, and had children with a woman whose personality is similar to his fathers 😂.

Oh my! Teenage Viktor becomes such a handsome young man! Again, it is not surprising, considering both sides of his family are filled with gorgeous people. Although I wonder if he'll grow up tall 🤔. I mean, Kitty is very tall, as are the rest of the Morozov family, and his paternal grandfather, Takashi, is also a pretty big guy as well. On the other hand, both Viktor Jr's grandmothers, Azami and Yevette, are very petite women, and Rin has a more compact build as well. Tbh, it could go either way with genetics, but it is a good chance he'll grow up taller than Rin by the time he's in his teens. Haven't even considered what kind of powers he might inherent, but it's a good chance he'll have dual abilities.
