Hi! I was wondering if you happen to know of any ttrpgs that utilize dragoons as a class option/thematic presence?
THEME: Dragoons
Hello, so when I followed up with you, you mentioned that you wanted dragoons from Final Fantasy, rather than the historical dragoons - and I’m glad I clarified, because I was sifting through historical games at first. From what I understand, the main points of dragoons is that they are a class who fights with a spear, with strong elements of launching themselves into the air/attacking from heights to land hits with extreme force. I also understand that they are meant to have strong relationships to dragons. So let’s see what we’ve got.

Final Fantasy Legend Edition, by Mildra the Monk.
This is an intermediate-complexity tabletop roleplaying game based on the Japanese console RPG series, Final Fantasy.Whether you're a veteran or someone new to the series, these streamlined rules and various customization options will help you get started with ease.
When I went to check out this game, the Dragoon class was the first image listed on the storefront. This class comes with some classic jump abilities, and other character abilities that are all about pinning down your enemies from the air. You also have access to the appropriately-themed Dragon Arts, tying your character intimately to their historic roots. The game itself moves through what it calls a four-phase structure: Preparation, Exploration, Encounter and Downtime. Each arc is likely to follow a quest that has been given to your characters, and these four scenes give you a procedural structure that typifies many ttrpgs.
Megalos: Crystalpunk Fantasy Roleplaying, by matara.
MEGALOS is a game for telling stories about adventures in the clouds, fighting evil empires, and dueling ancient gods. The Worlds of MEGALOS are vast and old, each a cosmic emanation connected to one another by the Wellspring- the source of all aether in the cosmos. Make your own World of MEGALOS or play in one of ours, from the Oradam Rift to Pallid Telkane to Zone Gachette to The Erefane. Soar through the air in an airship, dogfight imperials, and wield aetheric magicks as a punk-rock witch.
This tabletop game is inspired by things like classic JRPGs, electronica music, and medieval alchemy. MEGALOS is the first game to use the SLIPSTREAM game engine, which uses pools of d20s as the core of its task resolution mechanic.
The martial damage class for Megalos is called the Throne, and it hast at least two subclasses that I think you could use to make a Dragoon-like character. As a base class, Thrones have access to a flight ability called Liftoff, and both Arklights and Champions use this ability to do some neat things with combat.
Arklights are warrior monks, interested in the “protection and cultivation of ‘good’”. They have a lot of light and wings metaphors, including an ability called Falcon Dive, which allows you to dive at your opponent while in the air, with an upgrade ability to inflict piercing damage to multiple enemies. Then there’s the Champions, fighters who are all about learning new techniques and experiencing combat as a way of life. They’re very brawl-friendly characters, but their abilities Aerial Charge (which launches you in the air) and Meteor Drop (which is practically a dive-bomb attack) give me pretty strong Dragoon vibes.
Lancer, by Massif Press - and the Field Guide to Suldan, by KaiTave.
Lancer is a tabletop role playing game centred on shared narratives, customizable mechs, and the pilots who crew them. Set many thousands of years from the present day, Lancer imagines a future where a survivor humanity has spread to the stars after weathering terrible ecological collapse on Earth -- the end of the Anthropocene as a consequence of unrestrained consumption and poor stewardship.
Lancer features a mix of gritty, mud-and-lasers military science fiction and mythic science fantasy. In the setting, conscript pilots mix ranks with flying aces, mercenary guns-for-hire brawl with secretive corporate agents, and relativistic paladins cross thermal lances with causality-breaking, unknowable beings.
Lancer’s big thing is the ability to make a mech that can do some really cool things, all based around combat. You build your mechs with pieces you gain access to through licenses, many of which are distributed by various companies and organization. The base game has the IPS-N Nelson Frame, which is all about close-quarters combat and high mobility, with a gigantic War Pike that can puncture armour. If you want to go full Dragoon mode though, you’ll want to download the Field Guide to Suldan fan expansion, which has an additional frame option for the Nelson, giving you the power of flight - and an ability called Drive Burst, which allows you to move really fast in one direction and do a whole bunch of extra damage to anyone in your way.
If you want a game that’s all about figuring out neat combos and making your machine really really good at specific things, you want to try Lancer.
Fabula Ultima, by Need Games.
FABULA ULTIMA is a Tabletop Roleplaying Game inspired by Japanese-style console RPGs, or JRPGs.  In Fabula Ultima, you and your friends will tell epic stories of would-be heroes and fearsome villains, set in fantasy worlds brimming with magic, wondrous locations, and uniquely bizarre monsters!
A game that is typically advertised for folks who want a Final Fantasy experience, Fabula Ultima is likely going to hit a lot of similar plot beats and game moments that feel familiar. When it comes to character creation, you are expected to put together a few different options to make someone with a lot of cool talents that you can expand on as you grow.
One of the pre-gens in Press Start, a quick-start version of the game, looks fairly Dragoon-like, with a heavy spear and a move called “Soaring Strike” that looks like it can send you airborne to fight flying enemies, so I think it should be fairly easy to make the kind of character you’re looking for.
First Fantasy, by Marc Strocks.
A one-page RPG created for the game(s) jam.  In the year 199X, technological cities grow thicker by the day, feeding off the planet's resources. Demonic fiends fill the wilds, attacking anything that moves. With a weapon by your side, you travel the world. This is your mission. This is your story.
First-Fantasy is a single page full of a lot of roll tables, both for character creation and adventure creation. This game feels like it’s relying on folks who are well acquainted with the lore and tropes of Final Fantasy, and gives you a few tools to add chance to your story. Character creation is pretty slim, but the Dragoon class does give you the basics: a spear or a sword, a Jump-charge ability, and the metal plate you’d probably expect a knight of some kind to wear.
UMBRA, by Star Bear Games.
UMBRA is a Table Top Role Playing Game in which you delve into a world of bug Knights! It features the quick and snappy combat of the LUMEN system.
Under and within a grand oak tree lays a sprawling metropolis known as the Cradle. Making their lives under the watchful rule of the Ashen King, are the bugs of the Cradle. Every bug has a part to play, big or small, in the kingdom. For you, oh noble Knights, your part is that of protector.
Inspired by Hollow Knight, I thought about Umbra for two reasons: one, because the titular character of the game does a lot of jumping when in combat, and two, because this game is based in LUMEN, which is all about modular combat and strategy.
You cobble together a few different things to make your character unique, including a House, a weapon, and armour called Regalia, which give you different abilities or advantages. If you want to make a Dragoon-like character, I’d recommend making a bug from Horn House, which gives you the hard-hitting, high-damage typical of an armour-puncturing spear. You’d then make your spear by taking a Point weapon and giving it tags like Reaching, to give yourself the ability to stab from a distance. Then for Shell regalia, you can take either Hovering Wings, which gives you the ability to fly, or Propelling Wings, which give you heightened jumps, allowing you to stay in the air for extended periods of time.
If UMBRA itself isn’t the setting that you want but you like this level of customization, then I recommend checking out some other LUMEN games for different genres, but the same easy-to-learn fast-action strategy.
RottenFall Heroes, by LazerSamuraiGG
In a world forever changed by cosmic disaster, ordinary lives collided with the extraordinary. It all began with the sudden appearance of mysterious beings, turning unsuspecting humans into monstrous entities known as the ROTTEN. The trigger? A mysterious collision between an Obsidian Pyramid and the moon.
As if this upheaval wasn't enough, interdimensional beings known as VILLAINS seeped into our reality, distorting familiar landscapes into surreal nightmares.
Yet, amidst the turmoil, emerged a glimmer of hope – the Heroes. These courageous individuals joined forces, establishing schools and enterprises to combat the encroaching darkness. They ventured forth into the warped realities, confronting villains and safeguarding the innocent.
Mechanically, I cannot honestly say that RottenFall Heroes has anything that looks like a Dragoon in fighting style. However, what it does have is a class called a dragon knight, which involves a person who has a solemn pact with an ancient Dragon, who has granted them access to special powers. In Dragon Form, you are especially talented at wielding two-handed weapons, and I think you can choose a spear or lance if that’s what you desire. You can also re-roll your attacks when fighting with your clawed hands, and you’re resistant to fire. If you want the connection to dragons more than the ability to jump really high and pile-drive someone from the sky, then you might be interested in RottenFall Heroes.
You might also want to check out…
The Fire Emblem recommendation post I put up a couple of weeks ago.
The Official FFXIV TTRPG has Dragoon options! And it looks like there are free versions of the rulebooks.
This playbook for SLAYERS is all about playing a Dragoon-like character.

trip, do you have a particular knack for what we'll simply as "husbandry", or is your care going off just your gut feeling? is there any particular motives that drive you for keeping up with quadwings at all, especially if it has potential to be a hazard to your peers?
Quadwings isn't just some animal though? She understands language like we do. We did have to kind of make one up but I'm not teaching her to mash buttons like that "talking" dog.
She's too independent for me to be responsible for her anyways. She shows up whenever she wants and I can't really make it leave me alone forever, not that I'm complaining though. She looks a little intimidating but she's just nice to be around.
...when I first met her I thought she was going to kill me but it didn't. I don't think it's aggressive at all.

hi Azia! since I'll probably never play FFXIV but want to gobble up everything you've ever written or will write for Io and Estinien, I was wondering if you could kind of summarize or describe the context for their relationship in the canon universe. what do I need to understand about their history in order to better appreciate the way they fit? how do they meet and what brings them together? are there some universal truths for each WoL that heavily contribute to who Io is (kind of like how Hawke in DA2 loses half their family, or every Shepard in Mass Effect is deadish for two years)?
no pressure to answer if you don't have the time/energy or just plain don't want to! ok thanks love you bye 💙

Hi Ells. I am so sorry....
Understanding Estinio
Tumblr media
General World Lore: The story of XIV begins five years after a Calamity (an event of large-scale devastation that leaves the land and people struggling to recover). This is the seventh Calamity over a period of 13,000 years. Other notable world happenings are:
the Dragonsong War: a war between man and dragon that has raged in and around Ishgard for one thousand years
the more recent advancement of the Garlean Empire: Garlemald is a technologically advanced nation seeking to "unite" the world under its rule
Warrior of Light Things: The player character is almost a completely blank slate. Their appearance and combat proclivities are entirely up to the player! Their backstory is not really mentioned, and the only thing we know about them from the start is that they're an Adventurer, which in this setting is someone who wanders here and there, helping with whatever odd jobs they can in hopes of earning a living and maybe some local fame too. A little network of unionized Hometown Heroes. But some things hold true for most WoLs (headcanons notwithstanding):
They have a gift called The Echo. A few other characters have the gift, but it can manifest differently from person to person. The WoL's Echo allows them to visit scenes from the past, sometimes through the eyes of another and sometimes as a kind of bodiless spectator, usually triggered by high emotion from a person or place. It also has a few other functions.
They join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, an organization that's a bit of an open secret, determined to stop Primal summoning (Primals are replications of gods, the will of a people made manifest, and they are powerful and destructive. If most people venture too close, they become enthralled). Recruited for their prowess in combat (or healing, maybe, if you're not Io) and apparent inability to be tempered by Primals, they, of course, become the team's most powerful asset.
Io Laithe is my WoL, a viera born in the Garlean-occupied region of Dalmasca. When she was 19/20, her home village suffered a violent raid, and her family was lost. She managed to escape and flee far to the west. At the beginning, she's around 29 and an accomplished archer, among other things. Io endures more loss over her story, friends and lovers, and she blames herself over and over. She struggles to lay down her grief and represses her anger for so long that she almost loses herself to it at one point, but she claws her way back with the help of her friends. She's soft-spoken, and reserved, but is also deeply kind and surprisingly funny. (This paragraph is short but I feel like I talk about her so much lmao. Trying not to gush too hard)
Estinien Varlineau was born to a family of sheepherders, in a small farming community outside Ishgard. When he was 12, his village was razed to the ground in a dragon attack. He found the charred remains of his parents outside his home (his dad had tried to shield his mom from the dragon fire). His younger brother was inside, trapped under a collapsed beam but already gone. He was the only survivor, and was taken in by a man named Alberic who held the title of Azure Dragoon (the most powerful lance-wielder in the land, but I'll spare you the specifics. There's dragon-y magic and a literal dragon eye that gives them powers. This was supposed to be quick omfg). Estinien swore to avenge the deaths of his family and trained with Alberic, eventually becoming the next Azure Dragoon. Eventually, he gets his vengeance, but the cost is so much more than he expects. At the end of it, he is begging for his own death, but his friends (the WoL included) refuse to let him go out like that and save him. He's since been on a journey of self-discovery; who is he without the drive to avenge those he lost, without his duty or his post? In personality, Estinien is blunt and abrasive, he cannot read a room (but he would like to leave it). He has a sharp sense of humor and often teases his few friends, he's extremely sentimental, he's very protective of the people he cares for, and can't stop himself from helping a kid in need.
Relationship Summary
They overlook each other at first. Io finds Estinien too harsh and rude. He thinks (since she is seeing Haurchefant at the time, who is... affiliated with a noble house of Ishgard) that Io is another pretty girl grabbing at coattails--surely not the "great warrior" he's heard about. And it takes a journey into dragon country for them to warm up to each other, when he learns she can easily hold her own, and she sees how protective and kind he can be to their traveling companions. They become friends and it's easier than either of them expected. They don't talk about their loss with each other though, not for a long time. Both hear the other's story from someone else, and it endears them to each other, an unspoken, invisible bond in addition to what they've already faced together. Just as Io saved him at the end of the Dragonsong War, Estinien saves her when she faces off against the might of Garlemald and almost dies. It's a long time before she gets to thank him for that, but when she does, it's around the time he agrees to join the Scions too. They spend more time together, and they become almost inseparable. And as the world hangs on the brink of what seems to be another Calamity, they quietly fall in love and almost lose each other again. Neither confesses to the other until things have settled down. But once the confessions are out of the way, they easily fall into warm domesticity. They spend the better part of a year mostly in one place, living together, working together, making the smaller trips they need to but always returning to a home base. Now, there's the itch to travel again. They just pulled a stint of traveling separately but ended up in the same place. He very much wants to continue roaming, and Io does too, but part of her is starting to think about a family. I haven't decided when or if they talk about this lmao. They love each other so much, but both have a strong streak of wanderlust, and both are legendary heroes who belong to the world as much as they belong to each other.
Why they compel me:
I don't know if you guys know this about me but I love to think about grief :> It's the shared trauma, the love transformed into anger, and how new bonds can heal someone. I did not plan for Io's backstory to be so similar to Estinien's, and even before I shipped them, their friendship was a highlight for me. I love that they do most of their recovery on their own. I love that they always come back to each other. Big fan of people who might not appear outwardly soft all the time, but are just SO mushy for their partner.
They are both symbols of hope for their people, for better or worse. They understand that about each other, what it's like to have some of your personhood stripped away so you can embody an ideal.
Estinien is impulsive and straightforward, Io is cautious and thoughtful. He pushes her, and she grounds him. They both relish the peace the company of the other brings, and they are more certain of the other's ability and resolve than they are of themselves. They are best friends, they are family, and they admire each other.
Some key reads, chronologically:
close quarters | oh no, she's hot…
oblivious | a mutual friend notices io and estinien seem… different.
what i see in you, i hope you find in me | io realizes she is not in love with zenos
pang | estinien has his own realization
see you in the morning | the night before they depart towards unknown danger, estinien tries to soothe a worried io
in this state | io is unconscious, estinien keeps watch
mustering | estinien tells io about his brother, the first time he's talked about him in decades
take another step off the edge | FIRST KISS!!!!
And then their tag is filled with gposes I've made, art I've commissioned, writing prompt fills, fics from the two AUs I've written for them, and tons of quotes or poems that fit their vibe. I'd share a playlist but I don't have a playlist... there are five now T^T BYE!! 💗

Video Game Ask Answers
Decided to answer these like @mist-touchedxiv chose to here. My answers are below the cut cause it's a little lengthy with 31 questions. Reblogging with my answers would have really made it lengthy. XD So I did my own post for them.
Last game you finished -It's been a while since I played a game with an end. Persona 5
Game(s) you’re currently playing -FFXIV, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
1-3 games you’ve played in the past 12 months that you really enjoyed -FFXIV, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Do you like to get 100% achievements/trophies? -Nah. I like getting trophies but I long ago gave up on 100% in any game since some of the trophies are brutal for me to get. I game for fun not frustration.
Game(s) coming out that you’re looking forward to -Assassin's Creed Shadows
A series you’ve enjoyed since your early days of gaming and still enjoy to this day whether it still has games coming out or is one you return to -Wild Arms
A series you’ve lost interest in -Soul Calibur
A series you haven’t played but are interested in trying -Legacy of Kain
A game you played completely blind with no prior knowledge of and enjoyed/loved -Devil May Cry
A console and/or handheld you’ve never played but would like to try -Sega Saturn
Do you prefer ‘blank slate’ main characters you make yourself or otherwise project onto, or characters with a set personality and backstory? -I am good with either choice really. Depends on the story.
A character you particularly like in the game you’re currently playing -Koana from FFXIV (I picked a character from the current expansion to fit the question better)
Quick, name the first song from a game that comes to mind -Song of Storms from LoZ Ocarina of Time
A song that’s sure to hit your nostalgia buttons -If You Still Believe from Legend of Dragoon
Do you have a backlog and do you keep track of it? If so, how? -I very much do have a backlog. XD An it would be easier to keep track of games I've finished than which I haven't.
A game you’d like to replay that you haven’t -Legend of Dragoon
A game you didn’t finish but would like to get back to or restart someday -Tales of Vesperia. Lost interest towards the end when I needed to do some level grinding. I hate level grinding.
A game location you really like -Empyreal Paradox in FFXI and the battlefield inside
A game you started up for the first time and you knew from the start it was going to be great -Legend of Dragoon
A boss you think is really cool -Lady Harken from Wild Arms
A boss that was disappointing -Airy from Bravely Default
A game ending that’s really stuck with you -Devil May Cry 5
A “Wow” moment of awe -The final fight for Chains of Promathia in FFXI. I literally gawked at the battlefield until the NPCs forced me into the fight.
A game with a cool art style -The Persona game series
A game’s art style that had to grow on you -LoZ Wind Waker
Realism or stylized? -I'm not sure I lean towards one more than the other. Because art style can make or break the choice of if I want to play a game but I'm not that huge on the realism since most of those are game types I'm not big into anyways.
A game you love the atmosphere of -Kingdom Hearts
Pick a series you like. What was the first game you played for it? Was it a good starting point? Would it still be a good starting point now? -Wild Arms. It was the first RPG I really got into. And I think it's still a good starting point now. Even if you played the remake rather than the original. None of the Wild Arms games require you to play the others to understand them.
On average do you have one game or multiple games going? -I tend to have a few going in recent years. But usually only 1 that I'm not waiting on more story to release. I usually have 1 solo RPG going, XIV, and Disney Dreamlight. DDV doesn't have a big story and is a bit more like Animal Crossing in I can do what I want and how much I want at a time. XIV of course I have to wait between updates for more story and I can only do so much content grinding before I need a break again. My current RPG to take a break is LoZ Echoes of Wisdom.
Game you think you’ll finish next? -No idea. I am really good at getting distracted by a XIV patch or something new just as I get near the end of a game. That is what happened to my Baldur's Gate playthrough... XD
Someone has never played a video game before but is open to trying any genre. What game would you recommend as their first? -Hmm… If they want something with a story, I'd go with the original Wild Arms. It's not difficult to play and it's what got me into gaming. If they want something relaxing I'd say Animal Crossing New Horizons. If they want something less turn based and more actionish I'd say a game from the Ys series or LoZ series since most of their stories are pretty standalone.

3 What is your OC's view on "lying by ommision"? Is it as bad as outright lying in their view? 5 Does your OC ever tell "white lies" to spare someone's feelings, or to protect them from an upsetting truth? Or are they unsparingly blunt and uncompromisingly honest? 30 If your OC was cursed to only be able to tell the complete truth then what would be the consequences? How long would it take them to get into a fight?
Secrets and Lies || Open
@wanderingdragoon Hope you're ready, this took me.... at least an hour to type out- (Vent, Howler and Jydi are under the cut!)
Tumblr media
3. It is as bad, yes. Absolutely. Lying by omission is a great way of getting out of legal troubles and finding loopholes, but it is no less deceitful. Unfortunately, Jason knows all too well that lies by omission run rampant in his family, and he too is guilty of it... The problem here is he tries to be truthful to the people he cares about, and at least he's gotten better about keeping things to himself... to a point. Some fears still run deep.
At least now he's able to tell others it's not a topic he wants, can, or will talk about.
5. Between those two, he is definitely the liar. While he has no trouble being brutally honest about certain things - especially big things that he knows everyone should know about - and he has been getting better about being more upfront about things... he definitely is more of a spare peoples feelings with a fib type of guy. He can carry the hurt, it's fine. So what if he's afraid and angry, he's just a moody bastard, it's fine, it's fine, ignore the twist in your gut little soulcaller, just another day longer-
30. Breakdown. That's your consequence - a complete and utter breakdown. The reason why Jason lies is because he doesn't want to burden anyone with his silly little feelings, there's more important things going on - so if it all just... came out? The regrets of killing certain someone? Fear he isn't good enough to keep his promises? The utter self-loathing for taking away Lyra's future - and no, no matter what anyone can say, that was his fault. That was his fault for being what he is and everyone should hate him for it and he doesn't understand why they don't and-
You see that? Yeap. That's what we're getting! It is most likely going to be a screaming match and very, very strained family unit for the longest time.
Tumblr media
3. Nope! In fact, lying is not a bad thing at all! Vent counts it as a useful tool in survival - and with how brutal that particular game is, a deception is one of the skills you must learn.
Besides, the fae folk do it all the time, and people hardly call them out on it!
5. Definitely more on the lying side of things. Telling harsh, blunt truths can lead people getting upset, and upset people can lead to violent people. Which is very much not good for his continued good health!
However! If he trusts you not to harm him, and you specifically ask for the brutal truth, he will give it. Just uh. Don't throw anything once you get it, or he might have to revise that trust he had on you.
30. Oh it would be bad... But not for Vent Rat. You see, Vent is privvy to a lot of Beast Tribe secrets, their patrol routes, weaknesses, where they hide their youngs. He also has multitude - several dozen, maybe a hundred - secret tunnels and passageways memorized.
There is also the few rare people who are on the run, who's identities should remain buried that Vent Rat knows, where they are, and what routes they have used, which ways they have escaped, how they hide - of course he knows, he's taught at least one of them how to do it!
Him not being able to lie would mean a lot of the people he cares for will be in danger - and that thought alone is what keeps him doing it!
Tumblr media
3. Yes. Lies by omission are actually worse, as it feels extremely manipulative. Congratulations, you're one step above an active liar, what you think you got a moral high ground out of that? No, you're still in that same pit with the same tar on your tongue. You only do that to soothe your own guilt, but it still pools in your stomach.
It will still drown you.
5. Howler hates lying, honestly. It makes them feel guilty and dirty. They also hate detecting feelings of disappointment, if they give their honest opinion on something. So it is a toss-up - is it something harmless, where only Howler suffers? Like Howler liking certain flavors over others? Yes, they'll lie about that. If it's something where they know someone else will be hurt if they aren't telling the truth? They'll tell the truth... and brace for the feelings.
30. Depends, but uh... something tells me Howler telling everyone about the doomed timeline, who taught them, who died and when, and how the world most likely ended with it's last defenders dying mere moments before Howler was sent to our time would not go well at all!
A fight would be the least of their worries at that point!
Tumblr media
3. Lies by omission are only slightly better. Slightly. He is constantly omitting the fact of what he actually is, after all! Well, sometimes he has to lie about it - just a normal duskwight here and all that! Sadly his lying skills are abysmal, so lie by omission it is most of the time.
5. Jydirot tries to be someone who spares everyones feelings where he can, but... well let's be real here, Jydirot's what we like to call a dumb of ass. He's blunt, and his ability to lie to someone he cares about is horrid - so even if he tried, he'd fail. So it's best to just be truthful from the get-go on his case.
30. Two words; Ishgardian. Knights. They'll come and hunt him down if reports of Jydirots true nature ever get out. So yes, there most likely would be a fight - and not a small tavernbrawl either.
There is a high chance people will not be walking out of that fight.

enough about most liked drakengard characters who are your most HATED drakengard characters (if you have any)
Oh shit, that's a hard one :"D I don't think I really hate/dislike any character, maybe not caring or thinking "meh" at worst? But! I still managed to think of some charas to complain about >:)
I guess Nowe, Eris and Manah have gotten on my nerves few times :") tho I find likeable qualities in all of them, i feel like they had some missed potential and? Idk? Kinda annoying repetition with some traits/tropes?
-Nowe's anime-protag-iness(??) feels a little annoying sometimes (tho it can also be really funny, since most of the characters are some flavour of fucked-up™ and then there's Nowe going "D: !! Legna! You can't use the f-slur!")
-Eris mostly suffers from lack of screen time and kinda feeling one-note for most of the game (just too much of that "nowe!!! stop hanging out with that smelly dumb blonde!! >:(((" "but eris, the people!!!1!! :"'((((((")
-i feel bad for lumping Manah here, since I seem to like her enough to consider cosplaying her ffs, but I need to complain: her voice performance is so unenthusiastic at times (eng version in particular, but I remember hearing complaints about the jpn ver. too) :""D I knowwww there's been a BIIIIG personality shift from dod1, but to go from
"Lalalala, the watchers dance! Such fun!"
To
*sees her sleep paralysis-man™ that activates ptsd-mode* "no... help me... :-I"
Was a tiny bit disappointing :^\ Kinda.
(-i mentioned monster-furiae in my faves but normal furiae? Big-mehh & I do not care for love-triangles)

since I hc that lych, being a necromancer, is also a "doctor" of sorts, I think it'd be utterly fascinated by dragoon once it finds out she's partially made of flesh

How big would adult Kirby be?
Tumblr media
Taller than Meta Knight, about the same height as Morpho Knight, smaller than Galacta Knight. Hybrid Matterborn like Kirby tend to be rather mid-sized. (Designs of the older matterborn not accurate to how they'd look like when Kirb is an adult)

Also have a version with my Papi design and my OC Eon-Eon Dutch which I drew like a month ago.
