#astro-children-regression

Note
Just wanted something wholesome so;
What would be Mains do if you suddenly turn into a kid( And I mean huge age-regression like you don’t even remember them) and how would they take care of you? (I bet they have to ask Rodger for help since he takes care of toodles)
A Burning Memory.
Authors note: See, when you mentioned the 'you don't even remember them' part, I knew exactly what to draw. These headcanons won't mention this again.
Excludes Pebble AND it's platonic because age regression.
================================================
Astro
"Uh- why don't we calm down a bit...?"
He's not the most confused out of all of them, but he's certainly the most off put by the sudden change in behavior from you. You went from whatever personality you were to someone that just went into 'I want to relive my childhood' kind of behavior. You never had a childhood. Astro's not only caught off guard from this behavior, but now it falls on him -someone who's very anti-social/non-confrontational- to take care of you.
Not necessarily alone in this, since he can often talk to Dandy about what could calm you down. He has some experience with children because Toodles and the other children before Gardenview shut down, but Gardenview shut down a long time ago and Toodles is her own person, meaning strategies that worked with her might not work with you.
Childlike behaviors equals childlike destruction. Astro constantly discourages you from doing things that will either endanger you or others, naturally. But he's a lot less confrontational about it. Since he's the only one you likely respect enough to take 'orders' from, it doesn't take much to deter you from doing something he disapproves of. Especially when he lets out the 'disappointment tone'.
"Hey, what you did back there was very dangerous."
"I know..."
"Promise you won't do that again?"
"Promise."
You don't ever complain about nightmares to him. Because you don't get any; at least not often enough to remember them when they do happen. You don't necessarily know why until he explains his magic to enter dreams and alter them etc. Que to him getting bombarded with absurd questions like if he has some other powers that you don't know about or if he could fly.
=================================
Dandy
"Oh wow! You shouldn't go out there with the dangerous Twisteds!"
The suddenness of the situation caught him off guard, sure. But his act doesn't waver when it does happen. He just gives you a chipper smile and offers -tells- you to run the shop with him. Like a little assistant!
'But wait!' You may start. 'Why doesn't he do that with Toodles?! That's bias!'
Yes. Yes it is. He doesn't care.
As far as Dandy is concerned, you're too close to him to let go into danger like that. And the fact that you behave like a child and therefore do stupid things like not realizing a Twisted may be dangerous at first glance is enough to make him paranoid enough to not let you go out there. He doesn't and won't extend the same curtesy to Toodles.
He often has to tell you to not touch the stock. Not that he doesn't trust you with stealing anything, but because you could break something. He hates the fact that he might not have enough items to sell and make a profit. His punishment for when you do eventually do that is making you sit in a corner. No activities, no anything. You literally sit in an empty room and think about what you did.
He doesn't go to Rodger for obvious reasons, but also because he knows how to interact with kids. You're not really that different from other kids in that regard (not that he'd say that out loud) and that's obvious by just the way he talks with you. Soft during when you accomplish something or when he's trying to calm you down, or firm when he's trying to get you to stop something.
Oh, yeah. Perhaps unsurprisingly he gives you CERTAIN items for free, like pop or chocolate but other things are off limits to you because you either actually need to pay or you don't need it.
==================================
Shelly
"Awww! You're like a Chaoyangsaurus!"
"...A what"
As weird as it may sound, this was quite literally the moment that Shelly has been waiting for. Most children before Gardenview shut down usually ignored her, which obviously made her standoffish to other Toons and such, but having someone that not only saw her as a guardian, but interested in what she was preaching was literally all she ever wanted. To be like the other mains.
Shockingly she teaches you about dinosaurs, but not the ones that... y'know, dangerous and scary. She learned social awareness when she accidentally scared Toodles with dinosaur facts, so she doesn't do the same thing with you. Instead, she teaches you fun facts that shouldn't scare you about variety of dinosaurs. Key word: Shouldn't.
She's receptive to advice from people like Rodger or when Easter rolls around: Eggson. She often teaches you actual moral lessons that she may have not thought about otherwise. As it turns out, being generally ignored by both your peers and the humans you were made to teach makes you naturally forget some lessons you were supposed to teach. Especially since she didn't really have anything else to do but learn more about dinosaurs.
God forbid that you start gravitating towards someone else because she'll slightly panic. It never turns out to be something serious, though. She's still your main guardian through and through and you unconsciously reassure her of that when you constantly give her bright eyes as she compliments you. It always makes her smile when that happens.
==================================
Sprout
"Heyyyyy buddy! You doing okay?"
Mostly concerned and confused. He doesn't understand the sudden mood shift immediately and he's mostly prying you into why you changed all of a sudden. You just shrug and move the topic somewhere else. Not intentionally, he doesn't think but by the time someone tells him that age regression was a thing, it clicked for him.
When you gravitate towards him for protection and guardianship and such, he becomes extra overprotective of you. Dandy doesn't allow you to sit out of the Ichor operation, which obviously make Sprout furious but what is he going to do about it? Fight him? Instead what Sprout does is basically just not letting you go anywhere by yourself, and he always keeps an extra 100 tapes for healing you should something go wrong.
He brings you along when he and Cosmo begins to bake, he does not let you participate in the process. Well, more accurately he doesn't let you participate in the actual baking or cooking process but he'll let you bring him stuff like tools (not knives or other objects that are too sharp) or ingredients.
Sprout being one of those Toons that's always including Cosmo in activities just gain an extra member: you. Regardless of who you were before the age regression he likely didn't include you in a lot of activities unless you wanted to be but assuming you were reclusive and didn't want to be included and such, you were now. Congrats, you're part of the trio that Sprout accidentally created.
==================================
Vee
"First question: what's your favorite thing to do?"
Vee casually accepting the role of guardian because you were close to her prior to events and to get one over on Dandy. At least in her mind she's getting one over on him. Like a 'hah, I have a kid and you don't.' Ignore the fact you're not really a kid, just kid like behaviors. That makes for awkward conversations.
Vee's actually way more careful with you than any other Toon barring Sprout. This mainly stems from her being logical and practical. No, you don't always need to run out into the middle of the room to grab a candy and potentially get yourself hurt. No, you cannot do the ice bucket challenge with her. Key word is careful, not overprotective.
She's really keen in your interests. Since she has literally every trivia fact in her system, or just information in general she can typically answer any question you have. Except for the ones that don't really have any answers.
"Can a short person talk down to a tall person?"
"What."
"Do stairs go up or down?"
"Both."
She's awkward when it comes to compliments with you, as does everyone else. You're different in this scenario since she actually thinks before she talks when giving you a compliment. It still comes off backhanded, but this time you actually get the intent. Please return the compliment, she won't know if she's doing well enough otherwise.

Astro Notes on Current Events:
The Fall of Sean 'Diddy' Combs

From my professional perspective: / cw for mentions of abuse:
Diddy's incarceration and undoing coincides w/ Pluto regressing back into Capricorn and conjoining his Mars and many factors but I had my eye on that transit for months. There's no getting out of this one. Our current and incoming south nodes are conjoining planets in his chart which can be associated with domestic power abuse, control issues, and legal disputes being magnified. The SN is associated w/ the 'karma' you inherit or reap from the past.
On Sep 18th, the partial lunar eclipse in Pisces directly opposes his Pluto. Moon-Pluto oppositions can deal with feminine-coded abuse. It's emotional negligence, gaslighting, and a complete conquering of an emotional reality which starts with caregivers. From a legal and symbolic standpoint, this translates to me as the private subjugation of women. Abuse of wives, live-in partners, domestic servants, and child abuse and trafficking.
Saturn isn't aspecting this but its co-presence adds tension to the landscape. The collective needs justice. Being ruled by Jupiter in Gemini for the time being, this has to do with what was said and what can be factually proven. Witness and survivor accounts are going to play a major role here. Saturn is also conjoined with his natal NN which is in retrograde at the moment. In December it'll be direct. From a prosecution standpoint, this is saying they'll have everything they need to charge him by this date or something even more damning may come to light at that time. Dec 10th.
But it goes deeper than you'd think. Many psychics and astrologers have forecasted potential ties to more powerful players coming to light through this. My guess is that they're going to try to pin it all on him..but as quickly as possible. With Mars transiting through all of Cancer between now and November, this happening in the US's 8H and squaring Diddy's Venus planets may be about uncovering that the trafficking and other criminal activity doesn't only incriminate him but anyone w/ power attached to him. It was never just about Diddy. There's more people involved and they're all at risk. I'd argue that astrologically, his Mars's exaltation was protecting him, especially if he has a night chart. But Pluto bouncing from that Mars to continuing its applying square to his Retrograde Saturn in Taurus spells out that any shadiness he thought he could get away with would inevitably come to light..with an ass beating attached. Pluto's official long term ingress in Aquarius starts on Nov 19th.
On March 14th '25, there'll be a total lunar eclipse conjoining his Pluto. There's potentially going to be more charges made and files/documentation being brought in. But on Sep 21st '25, there's a very interesting partial solar eclipse occurring right on the late Kim Porter's 29-degree Virgo Pluto. I'm just going to call it, but if the rumors are true that he played a part in her death, we're going to definitely find out then. Keep your eyes on Sep 21, 2025.
If it doesn't happen then, it'll be a couple eclipses down the line because the next Cancer/Cap eclipse cycle occurs right where Kim Porter's Moon and Diddy's Lilith fall and it's going to reveal how abusive (and fatal) that Moon-Lilith connection was. That's mother-coded and child-coded too. So, anything involving children, pregnancy, etc, may come to light as well. That'll be happening in 2028. Tbh, I'm calling it because there'll also be a partial eclipse on his Juno that's going to be conjoined with her Mercury as well. Kim Porter's life and the darkness she was forced to keep secret is going to fully (and finally) be told very shortly. That man is about to be destroyed. Tbh, it's giving a memoir she may have wanted to have published.
Her scorned (but vindicated) Lilith has a full lunar eclipse occurring on March 3 '26. This is why I'm thinking that it's not just going to be a single decisive punch of getting her spiritual lick back with one eclipse cycle. Kim Porter was an actual inner-planet Scorpio stellium. It's going to be a rolling and incapacitating series of punches. Or of slow and painful dismemberment, quite honestly. Between now and 2028 and beyond, everyone is going to know just how abysmally awful this man is.
But he won't be alone. Oh, no. With Pluto in Aqua occurring right at the start of everything, it'll be the beginning of the end for the entertainment world in its current state.

MORE PJO OC STUFF!!! CUZ I WANNA!!!
VALENCIA HADAWAY-
⚒️ Daughter of Hephaestus, camp counselor of Cabin 9.
⚒️ Cisgender girl, lesbian, she/they pronouns.
⚒️ Very playful and fun energy. Gets along very well with pretty much everyone, but if she doesn’t like you, she’s not afraid to let it be known. She will be mean to you if she wants to. But she only does that to people who really deserve it. Mainly people who upset or hurt her friends.
⚒️ Half Ecuadorian and half European-American. She can speak Spanish quite well. Sometimes she’ll try to have conversations in Spanish with Leo and. It won’t work. Because of the drastically different dialects. But she’s picked up some of his lingo and he’s picked up some of hers.
⚒️ Dating Petra. Everyone is quite shocked at the pair, considering Petra is a daughter of Ares and Valencia is a daughter of Hephaestus, but the two work really well together.
⚒️ Valencia doesn’t usually wear skirts or dresses or really anything impractical, because she needs to be able to move around and get her clothes dirty. She is an engineer, after all. But sometimes, like on date nights with Petra, she likes to go all out.
⚒️ Wants to work for NASA after she gets her degree in New Rome. Is currently working on and has been working on ways to put the first person on mars.
⚒️ Very scientific! Loves space. Like I said, she wants to be the one to put the first person on mars. She’s a dedicated astro engineer and is very passionate about it.
⚒️ When it comes to age regression, she’s a flip with a slight caregiver lean. She can surprisingly be very mature when she needs to be, and often turns important lessons into fun games or actives or something like that. She’s also good at comforting. But, when she’s little, she regresses to around four or five and is incredibly mischievous. Petra is her caregiver. She helps babysit pretty much anyone and everyone too.
ESMARIE SIDNEY-
🕊️ Daughter of Aphrodite, camp counselor of Cabin 10.
🕊️ Trans girl, pansexual, she/they pronouns.
🕊️ Also has very playful and fun energy! She’s very easily excited. She loves her friends a lot and is extremely loyal. She likes to play dress up and do make up with her siblings and she’s really good at entertaining the younger campers and other age regressors!
🕊️ French and English! Born and raised in France. Her grandpa was English and her grandma was French. She speaks French better than English but she does speak both languages fluently still.
🕊️ Loves playing matchmaker with her friends. She’ll happily set her friends up on blind dates or try to get two of her friends together when she knows they both have crushes on each other or something. She constantly tries to get Leo and Floraline together because she can tell they both like each other, but Floraline is INCREDIBLY shy and Leo has no clue what he’s doing, so. She struggles.
🕊️ She herself had a crush on Apollo, specifically when he was in his Lester era, as much as she hates to admit it. His pathetic loser energy attracted her and she threw a little temper tantrum upon realizing her feelings. He wasn’t even at Camp that long! How did she catch feelings that quick?! She doesn’t understand. But she does tell Piper about it. Piper giggles. Esmarie does not.
🕊️ Esmarie becomes close with Apollo really fast, and eventually follows him on his little quests along with Meg. She wants to help him! She can tell that he can be better, that he is better than how he’s acted in the past, and that he just needs a little help and some support. Finally kisses him when he returns to Camp Half-Blood, fully a god again, but in his Lester form, just to say goodbye.
🕊️ After dinner, when you’re supposed to throw some of your food into the campfire as an offering, she instead puts poems she wrote for Apollo into the fire as her offering. They’re mainly about how much she misses him. 😕
🕊️ Like most other children of Aphrodite, Esmarie loves to dress herself up and go all out. She loves the Mcbling/trashy y2k style and it takes her like an hour and a half just to get dressed and do her makeup everyday.
🕊️ Interested in modeling! Like! Heavily! Has been modeling for a couple years now and plans to do fashion shows when she’s a little older. She loves loves loves fashion and she’s extremely good at anything related to it.
🕊️ Watches Hello Kitty with Piper sometimes. Has a very close relationship with Piper. Piper is her favorite sister and they have a really close bond. Esmarie shares everything with her.
🕊️ Little! Regresses quite often, usually to around four or five. Is quite bossy and puts on little fashion shows for her friends. Her main caregiver is Piper, but some others help babysit too. Apollo takes care of her when he’s able to. :)

I love this blog so much! Like I am a huge fan of child like ashtetics and an age regressor and it disgusts me when I see someone sexualizing my safe space or interacting with me and fellow nonconsenting members, like go away, your kink isn't clearly welcome here and you are nasty!
oh thank you!! and yeah me too, crossing boundaries is definitely NOT a part of any good/healthy/ssc bdsm relationship

The Right to Remain Uninhabited
Luke McLean
An Open Letter to Stop Space Exploration
The exploration of space receives more attention that almost any other science fiction topic. Whenever the news cycle wants to find something ‘sciency’ they turn to NASA, or one of its government contractors such as SpaceX. Questions about possibility or cost float through the collective conversation about space. One question not asked is whether space projects should be allowed to go forward, irrespective of cost.
Ask any commentator on space and they will advocate travelling interplanetary space to extend the human capacity in the universe. Some even point out that humanity will be linked to the mortality of the Earth, or the Sun itself, if people can never leave the planet.
For the sake of knowledge and exploration, and the indefinite preservation of the species, space advocates push people towards leaving the atmosphere and into the stars. They never stop to ask if humanity should go to these places, not just if they can.
Assuming interplanetary, interstellar, and intergalactic space travel were quick, safe, and free, what would be the obligation of humans to go to these places? Or to stay away?
Some enthusiasts submit that life itself is important and if humans can spread any form of life anywhere, then that is a gain for the entirety of the universe, beyond just the human interest. The “astro-ecologist” approach falls into a pit of bias, and forgets a truth of the world around us.
Distributing life is a human interest, because humans are dependent upon other life forms. Seeding ‘barren’ locations with life as a first step to developing an Earth-like ecosystem far from Earth is not a neutral or objective practice — any less neutral than a fungus cultivating lichens (not fungus) in an inhospitable environment to prepare for the direct spreading of its spores.
Shooting bacteria into the orbit of a foreign moon in planning of the eventual human conquest of that rock on the backs of those bacteria one day isn’t beneficial to the moon or the microbes participating in that man-made experiment.
The failure to understand nature in ecological outlooks leans on the fallacy that life is more important than existence. Life is not in balance. Life is not in peace. Life is dynamic, and self-interested, and relentless. Yet life wanes in comparison to the power and majesty of the inanimate and inorganic world. The stars, the mountains, the wind, the heavens, the earth. None can be called “alive,” but that does not mean they are not important or deserve a place in the world.
By artificially placing the interests of the living organisms over top of non-living world, and therefore biasing the interests of organisms such as humans over ecosystems in space, advocates for exploration and colonisation beyond the Earth make an argument about the priorities of all of existence.
The hubris to suggest that planets such as Mars, moons such as Luna, and stars such as Sol are at a detriment because they are devoid of life betrays the destructive and consumptive habits lifeforms can bring to any environment. To accept the truth of existence is to accept that most of the world is not alive, and not attempt to impose a value on that.
Space analysts pass around a regularly used thought experiment, a paradox about the lack of life in the galaxy. If human life is at all representative of common life forms, and if the galaxy is billions of years old, then the galaxy should be teeming with life — the story goes — but it isn’t. This isn’t a limit of observation, because the very need to look closely proves that life is not easy to find.
Is there a flaw in the scientific models of the cosmos? Or did all these lifeforms die off? What does that bear in mind for humanity?
This paradox bases an assumption on a “progressive” model of biology — that lifeforms will become increasingly specialised and complex, and eventually develop technologies which become more and more sophisticated and wide-ranging. The second assumption is that the so-called “advanced” life either has a drive to explore the galaxy, or takes no interest in their surroundings.
Neither of these assumptions should be granted to the famous story. Such assumptions impose a recent and idiosyncratic outlook of certain human societies as a universal, not only onto mankind throughout all of time, but onto the vastness of the universe itself. More importantly than exposing a problematic bias, the assumptions take no account of the non-living world.
If life-centric scientists believe so much in the power of life, they have to consider the origin of life. All living beings originated from non-living beings, no matter how much scientists try to create an artificial starting point by searching for the “origin of life” or “the first replicating cell.” The inorganic bourns the organic, so to any degree the living have rights then so do the non-living.
Plants and ecosystems that do not have life, or that maintain only microbial life, have a right to remain in their equilibrium without a human presence. Humans have a desire to replicate themselves and consume their environment, which led to the consumption of every continent on the Earth.
Conservationists have already made the criticism that humans should not have the right to pollute other planets merely as an escape from having recklessly polluted the Earth. The rights of other planets go deeper; It may be that they should not have humans on them at all, even in the unlikely utopia of a sustainable and well-behaved state.
From a planetary perspective, Earth created life on Earth, so should any Earth-being be open to find a place on Mars, or Jupiter? Should a Solar being be open to inhabit another star system? Not as a point of nationalism, but as a point of balance and of right, what place does an Earthling have on another planet?
On Earth, any person has the right to live in any nation on Earth because all humans have equal right and inheritance of the Earth, on an individual level. Because no human presence is natural or in balance with the surrounding environment, all human colonies are equally as natural as each other, creating a more unified experience.
Imagine, however, if there were a place of natural humans, adjacent the human colonies that now span the globe. The species inhabitants of those colonies would naturally view the human invaders as a pest, an infection, that came to inflict harm and consume the resources of the planet. Just as a human population feels unease with the introduction of a new predator or parasite, the rest of nature may have something to lose if humans commit to take resources while failing to replenish them.
As a species, humans must rely upon predation for energy and upon parasitism for habitancy — that is to say, people cannot make their own food or find a place to live without killing or displacing something else in order to eat or relocate it — so the capacity to replenish is necessarily small, and permanently limited; Any species which could produce its own food or live in harmony with nature could no longer be called a human, as humans are defined by their predatory and animated characteristics.
The human bias to consume in the face of mortality is not an excuse to violate the right to be uninhabited, which has been deprived of much of the Earth, and which remains in most of the universe. Everything in existence has a right to exist, and the ecosystems around the universe exist beyond a definition of life. Humans have no place to divide the world between living (us) and non-living (them), nor do they have a place to make a determination that lifeforms have more rights and powers than everything else. The “non-living” world has much greater majesty, beauty, and power than the “living” world could ever imagine.
As scientists can not even agree on what a definition for “alive” versus “not alive” is, it ought to be considered that there is no real difference, as the organic and inorganic live as one in the world, and each have a right to their continued existence but for the violation of each other. The doesn’t mean tsunamis have a right to obliterate human cities, nor does it mean that humans can imagine they have inherent dominion over the universe. The paradox of life in the galaxy is not the perceived absence of alien warships, but the paradox that if everything has an absolute right to exist, then in essence nothing does.
The point is, that no one has an absolute right to determine the fate of another planet, and humanity certainly does not have an absolute destiny to colonise the stars. If it could be said that any human being has an absolute destiny, that would be: to find a group of friends, have children, and then die. This is the fate of all healthy human lives, not more and not less — a social life, a new generation, and an inevitable fate. Space is not a convenient escape from reality, as much as furious fiction authors and the few immature billionaires (usually borne from tech rather than energy, retail, or finance) make it out to be.
There may be some voices tempted to say the world is a free-for-all. That any advantage one can get over the other, or on the surrounding world, is a victory, as in the end all life will come to an end eventually. Those tempted to say that give into the same human bias, looking out into the great, unfathomable world and regressing back to the basic penchant for consumption and self-proliferation; they fall back into fatalism and surrender to vices. There is a difference in accepting the lack of a right to life and losing respect for all life as it is. Human life has value, but not an absolute value. The entirety of the universe cannot be expected to share the anthropomorphic focus on self-preservation and perpetual growth.
There is no meaningful difference between the words “consumption and proliferation” versus the words “parasitism and infestation.” People usually use the word “infestation” to refer to non-human animals or microbes, but those animals probably wouldn’t commit to such a human-centric bias. To them, a human body is nothing more than a host, not a prize nor a victim. There is no moral component for the infesters. They view the human body as an open landscape of energy, space, and nutrients; they have no capacity to even understand that the human as a whole is somewhat united and self-aware.
Humanity resents being infected with bacteria or invading animals because they represent a loss of control and present a likelihood of death. But to the infecting faction, what is death? A once fertile, inanimate field of resources become [ inviable / unviable ] after being consumed. At their scale, there may be no difference, while at the human scale people know that is not the case.
People, including space advocates and scientists, have no right that they can understand nature at the planetary scale — just as the bacterial or insect parasite has no right capacity to understand humanity at the human scale. To understand the rights of existence at the human scale, one must be human, or looking down on humans. To understand the rights of existence at the planetary scale, one must be on the planetary scale, or the galactic scale, or encompassing the universal. That is impossible, as humans have no more chance to embody a planet they inhabit as a roach or a mosquito has to embody a human it consumes.
As we cannot begin to fathom the world around us, we should not be so eager to consume it all in the fears of our own mortality. Existence has a right to exist, distinct from the terms of human consideration. What is the end goal of space exploration? To discover the origin of life? The meaning of life? To one day leave the Earth and spread Earth-based life to other planets? While unlikely to happen in the least anyways, it should be questioned immediately whether these objectives are actually benign, or have anything to offer those other planets.
The secrets of human purpose likely do not exist on Mars, or the Moon, or even in the deepest core of the Sun. Even if they did, what exactly would we learn that we could apply? At what cost comes the destruction of those worlds?
Some call Singapore a marvel of human achievement, a world onto its own, but there was a world before the skyscrapers, and a world remains buried under the concrete, swirling aside the boiling oceans on the coast. Will Mars be the next “achievement?” Sprawling farms and condominiums upon what is currently a peaceful and balanced landscape? Not everything can be expressed in human terms. Failing to understand that reinforces that humanity has no place infecting the world with its presence, as humans seek to exploit those worlds for their own sake.
The world has the right to remain. Existence has the right to exist. In terms of people eying the cosmos, space has The Right to Remain Uninhabited.
