Revolutionize Pet Care with Our Smart Automated Pet Feeder!
In the fast-paced world we live in today, pet owners often find themselves juggling multiple responsibilities, leaving them with limited time to care for their furry companions. While we cherish our pets and want the best for them, our busy schedules can sometimes make it challenging to provide consistent and timely meals. This is where the innovation of automated pet feeders steps in, offering a solution that ensures your pets are well-fed and happy, even when you can't be there in person.
The Automated Pet Feeder: A Modern Solution
Imagine a revolutionary device like the furbabyfeeder that ensures your cherished pets are nourished even when you can't be there. The furbabyfeeder, a leading automated pet feeder, has witnessed a surge in popularity due to its exceptional benefits. Tailored to dispense precise food portions at scheduled intervals, this innovative device establishes a dependable and uniform feeding routine for your pets.
The Benefits of an Automatic Dog Feeder
Consistency
One of the most significant advantages of using an automatic dog feeder is the consistency it brings to your pet's feeding schedule. Whether you're caught up at work or stuck in traffic, you can rest assured that your furry friend won't miss a meal.
Portion Control
Maintaining a healthy diet is crucial for your pet's well-being. Automatic feeders allow you to set portion sizes, ensuring your pet receives the right amount of food, and helping to prevent overeating or underfeeding.
Can be used for dry and wet food
When you think about automatic feeders, you might picture a dry pellet dispenser, but did you know that they can cater to both dry and wet food? While dry food is a popular type of cat and dog food, wet food is a good source of water – dry pet food typically contains around 10-12% water; wet food contains 75-78% water. Some feeders also include ice packs to keep the food fresh in between servings.
And don’t worry about cleaning these feeders after they’ve had wet food in them – many modern feeders have detachable, dishwasher-friendly bowls, meaning you can clean them as easily as your own dishes!
Stress Reduction
Pets thrive on routine, and sudden changes in their feeding schedule can cause anxiety. With an automated pet feeder, you can maintain a stable routine, reducing stress for your pet.
Remote Access
Many modern automated pet feeders can be controlled remotely through smartphone apps. This feature allows you to monitor and adjust your pet's feeding schedule from anywhere in the world.
Healthy Pet Products and Accessories
In addition to the convenience and consistency offered by automated pet feeders, it's essential to consider other aspects of your pet's well-being. A holistic approach to pet care includes providing them with healthy pet products and accessories.
Nutritious Food
While automated pet feeders ensure regular meals, it's equally important to feed your pet high-quality, nutritious food. Consult your veterinarian to choose the best diet for your pet's specific needs.
Safe and Comfortable Accessories
Pets need more than just food. They also require a safe and comfortable environment. Invest in accessories such as cozy beds, toys, and grooming tools to keep your pet healthy and happy.
Regular Exercise
Alongside a balanced diet, regular exercise is crucial for your pet's overall health. Make time for daily walks and playtime to keep them active and engaged.
Health Checkups
Regular vet visits are essential to monitor your pet's health. Vaccinations, preventive care, and routine checkups can catch potential issues early, ensuring a longer and healthier life for your pet. In conclusion, Automatic Pet Feeder are a game-changer in modern pet care, offering convenience, consistency, and peace of mind for busy pet owners. However, they are just one piece of the puzzle. To provide the best care for your furry companion, consider the holistic approach of combining automated feeding with nutritious food, safe accessories, regular exercise, and veterinary care. With these elements in place, you'll be well on your way to ensuring your beloved pet's happy and healthy life.

I have a friend that has one grazing/snacking cat and one binge eater. The cats wear special tags with RFID chips that coordinate to the feeders, so the feeder will only open to the cat it's programed to!
ooh, that's smart. I bet we could get an automated feeder and an RFID chip for Ember, that way she'd be able to get to the food any time but Creamsicle would be locked out. I'll have to look into those, see how much they cost. Thanks! Have a Creamsicle image!

#im cool with feeding creamsicle manually rn#i feel like if i got him an automated feeder he'd just lie in front of it all day waiting for snacks#barking#muffinrag got mail

Hi Charlie! I'm the proud owner of a wonderful goofball Flygon and I do my very best to make sure his care is top-tier, especially as a semi-regular battler. However, I've noticed lately that Mirage seems to always be hungry, despite my efforts to provide appropriate energy-dense food at mealtime. I know Flygon have supercharged metabolisms, so I was thinking about trying out a different food schedule where he can eat smaller portions more frequently. But I wanted to get your opinion on the matter: is this a good idea or should I try something else? If it is, how do I make the transition as smooth as possible for both of us? Thanks in advance!
first thing i'd do is get his weight and see if it's fluctuated any. since this is something you haven't noticed before, i'd also check in with your vet before making any changes. there are a lot of things, behaviorally and medically, that can affect appetite, and change in appetite is something i would always go to your vet with.
metabolic/endocrine disease in a pokemon with as high a metabolism as a flygon would definitely be a potential area of concern for me. flygon are not particulary well-studied from a medical perspective because they're rare in captivity and difficult to track in the wild, but we do have a documented case of hyperthyroidism. it could also be that he just needs his diet adjusted a little- it's really hard to get a flygon diet right because of the sheer amount of food they need to eat over the course of a day! if it does end up being a behavioral issue and he needs smaller meals throughout the course of the day, i'd highly recommend some sort of automatic feeder that you can load at the beginning of the day and set to dispense a set amount of times. wild flygon go about their days in alternating bursts of high activity and rest, typically lasting no more than 30 minutes each, and that's a tough schedule to keep! automating it will help you provide the appropriate amount of food at the appropriate intervals.

Re: your notes on the bunny post
Are quail really easier than chickens to take care of? I didn’t know you could free range them!
I don't know what post you mean, but you can't free range them. However their hutches take up about as much space as a rabbit hutch (3x2 foot is pretty standard), and they stack (you can build a tower). So while a single chicken needs at least a 10x10 run + coop, and a group of chickens needs 10 square feet per bird in the run, and larger if you don't intend to free range them, a group of 36 quail can fit in 6 square feet (if you have a standard 3 level tower, some people even do more levels).
They don't require much. Their food is in a j feeder you can fill from the outside of the cage, you can automate their water system (I only have to refill the tubs about once a week, every other week on the breeder racks), their eggs roll out to the front so I never have to bother them to collect. They're on (coated) wire bottoms so their poop just falls through, and I dump and rinse the catch trays underneath about once a week on the breeders (this varies by how many you have in a cage- max housing density is 3 per square foot, most people do 1 or 2 per square foot). The rest of the time you can leave them to their quail lives, and since they're off the ground you basically never have to worry about illness or parasites (the later may still occur if they aren't well covered, the former if they aren't covered and you bring in sick birds, but they won't be able to pick it up from the ground, unlike chickens who are constantly sick and wormy on fb groups...). If you build an actual aviary and keep them just as pets they might get more complicated/expensive, but as farm animals in a use setting (ie, you get them for eggs and meat and they are livestock), they are easier and cheaper than chickens.

Sweet Memories

Warning: Contains some wholesomeness. Viewer Discretion is Advised.
Faint chirping of crickets simulate a white noise that many sleep to. A common occurrence out in the fields of green decorating the rolling hills that stretch the state. The perfect imagery for any classic farming film or the uncanny valley endless green. A tune of familiar nature that enticed those who wish for a smaller life style.
Idaho, the state known for their potatoes. Across the land sprouting farms that mainly profited off the crop or some exploring alternative products. Some are an all around crop farmland that stretched for acres. Then there are the few that specialize in cattle. Producing the finest meat, eggs, and dairy.
There was one ranch in particular that specialized in very particular products and even attempted to create a name for itself.
The day began at 6 am, a normal routine to make the most of the daylight. Starting with dressing light and ready for some heavy work. The first hour of the day was full of coffee, oats, opening the barn up, and starting on cleaning out the hay. Next hour was replacing the hay, filling the troughs with water, setting up some feeders as the cows stretched their legs. Then 30 minutes was saddling up a horse and getting the attention of the old herding dog. The next hour and half was getting the cows back to the barn for some automated milking. All being done by one individual.
The owner of this ranch was a young lad, taking it over from his family and maintaining the name on the longest standing ranch. Built like a Greek God that enjoys a few plates of pasta, this lad did it all. Watching the cattle with his heterochromia eyes; blue and green. The way his jet black hair was tuck into his cowboy hat, spreading along his neck and shoulders from the length in the back.
Jumping off the horse, the lovely young man let the stallion roam the fields as he headed back to the house. He changed from his farm clothes into something more suitable for the public eye. A white button up, slacks, and a blue baseball cap. Straightening out his hair by pulling it back into a small bun. He was cleaned up and ready for the public. The man left the home and let the cows out of their milking stations before heading down the property.
At the very edge of the property stood a small dinner. It looked only big enough to fit 50 people inside. He enters through the back door of the building and grabs a pink apron to wrap around himself. He then gets to work on turning on everything. Grill tops, coolers, friers, lights, jukebox, and lastly the open sign. He sweeps up some dirt he tracked in before wiping down the tables and counter. He then flips on the giant ice cream cooler next to the counter where he started to fill tubs into their corresponding slot. The tubs come from a walk in freezer from the back. Like that, the small diner was open and ready to go with just him. It rarely gets busy, but normally he got people coming in for a scoop of ice cream or something small from the menu on the walls that shared with the kitchen. It was very much only surviving off the regulars.
Thus making the next moments something unforgettable. The glass door opened with a jingle of the bell. Steps that had a heavyweight but air to them came towards the counter. The young man has his back towards the customer that just entered.
"Welcome, w'at can I get ya?" The man turned around before freezing. He held an ice cream scooper in one hand while a rag in the other. "THE Homelander entering my tiny diner. It is an honor sir."
The heavy steps were from the red boots of the man clad in stars and stripes. Homelander in the flesh had just walked into a diner in the middle of nowhere.
"Yes, I am here. I am in a bit of a rush. I heard from a few children in town that you had the best milkshakes." Homelander said confidently and curious. Even as an air around his words gave off the too busy to chit chat vibe.
The young man nods as he tucks the rag in his apron. "That is correct sir. Everythin' is all natural and sourced righ' 'ere." His accent was a little too prominent as he spoke proudly of his business.
"Then I would like a Vanilla shake with extra cream, to go." Homelander spoke briefly as he holds his hands behind his back waiting and giving the diner a look over.
The aesthetic old diner, but it was genuine unlike the many restaurants in New York mimicking the time area. The only thing that made the fake smile twitch was from the age on the jukebox in the corner. The plastic yellowing as the light slightly flickers from a bulb at the end of its life.
"Comin' righ' up."
The young man was quick to get started. Using the fresh vanilla ice cream in a blender and adding some of the chilled milk. As he did that he got a plastic cup and decorated the inside with vanilla syrup drizzled and mixed with heavy cream. Then the body of the shake was done blending. He then pours it in before grabbing a whip cream shaker to spray the top on. He places a kid on and a wafer. He then slides it on the counter before dropping a straw next to it.
"There ya go. On the house." The young man said as Homelander thanked him.
Not even taking a moment to drink a sip, Homelander opens the straw and puts it into the shake as he leaves quickly. It was like he didn't want to stay there another minute from how quick he left. Though the young man got to watch from behind the counter as the hero stopped and took a heavy drink of the shake. There was a hesitation before the man looked back at the diner before looking away. The young man smirked as he knew that look. The look of enjoying something that exceeded expectations.
Next thing he knew, there was only a streak of blue and red as the man took off. The young man only scoffs from amusement as he gets to cleaning up the blender. Making sure things were clean for the next customers to come in.
The whole day was empty. A few regulars came in. Some of the neighbors who simply did a trade of fresh crops for a good meal. A couple of teenagers who scrapped up money for some fries and ice cream. Then just a couple of random people from around town. It was understandable due to the distance needed to travel to the diner. Not many wanted to take the time to come out to something so small that they could easily get closer to their homes.
It was understandable, which was why the young lad was closing up for the day. He cleaned up the counters, tables, plates, windows, and glasses. He made sure to put the ice cream back in the freezer before turning the open sign off. He then locks the door, but freezes. He glanced out into the dark night. Only a few lamps barely did anything to light up the dirt road. For a moment he could swear that he saw something.
Trusting that instinct he finished up his closing quickly. He turns everything off before putting up his apron. He noticed his name tag was rough around the edges. Even his name was rubbing off. Gavin looked to be more Gav. He would need to replace it very soon.
Gavin exits out of the back as he locks that door as well. He then struts his way back up the property to his little farm life. Passing the house he goes to the barn and makes sure that he doesn't have to do much else as he calls for the herd dog. The cows had been roaming all day and so did his horse. Though he knew the herd dog had it covered. With age came the experience, training, and wisdom. The herd dog was already getting the horse back to Gavin before sprinting off to start wrapping up the cows resting in the darkness. Gavin gets on the horse and began to help out the dog and was able to get the cows back into the barn before putting the horse away and locking things up. He even made sure to have the sweet boy come with him to the house for some well deserved dinner.
The next day was the same. Up at 6 am, taking care of the cows, dressing up, and on his way to the diner. Though he stopped to briefly water the tiny guard on the side of his home. Nothing blossoming yet, but patience was a great virtue. Gavin got to the building, put his apron on, set up, and turned everything on. Just like normal.
Without another second lost there came a ground shaking thud. Gavin watched as the hanging lights swung shortly before settling. Then the glass door opened, those same heavy steps.
"Back 'ere again?" Gavin asks as he had an all knowing smirk on his face.
Homelander freezes as he looks at Gavin's smirk. He then chuckles before speaking. "I was impressed by your milkshake yesterday. I see why the boys recommended you." He admitted as he continues. "I came for another one, this time I can sit for a while."
Homelander approached the counter, he grabs his cape as he takes a seat on the stool. He then drops his cape to dangle behind him as he rests his gloved hands on the counter. It seemed like he was relaxing, but he was straight as a board.
"A vanilla shake? This time you'll have to pay." Gavin spoke as he began to scoop some vanilla ice cream up.
"Yes, extra cream. You can just send a bill to Vought for this. Actually do you make tabs?" Homelander asks as he feels that he might be visiting more often.
Gavin chuckles from the question as he gets blending for the base of the milkshake. "Sorry bud, this ain't a bar. But w'at I can do is give you a cons'ant cos' of w'at your shakes will be and then you can brin' a check nex' time you com-in. That way you don't have to worry about payin'." He raised an eyebrow with the offer before finishing up making the milkshake. This time he puts it in a glass cup with extra extra whipped cream.
Gavin slides it over to Homelander before walking over to the cash register and type in the item before getting a receipt for the milkshake and sliding it next to the creamy goodness. After that he got to work cleaning up from the milkshake.
Once Homelander received the bill he looked it over before folding it up and tucking into his glove. He would get this covered and not something to really stress about. It was clear since he began to enjoy his milkshake. His thin lips wrapped around the red straw that was placed preventively into the shake. His eyes fluttered shut as a faint hum rolled from his chest to throat. Homelander was enjoying the sweet flavor of the icy vanilla.
Gavin just shook his head listening to the sounds of enjoyment coming from the hero at his counter. He found it pretty cute, it was similar to a calf finding a sweet spot to itch against a fence. Not something you see on a daily basis, but enough to appreciate that fence.
"So wha' brings you to Idaho?" Gavin asks as he tosses a rag into a basket.
Homelander relinquishes the straw with a small pop. The shake is already half gone at this point. "I had a speech just the other day. Then I am leaving today, just wanted to get another shake." He admits easily.
"Really? Sounds like a busy time. Ain't somethin' as figh'en crime, righ'?" Gavin's eyes glint as he watches the popular face of America.
"It is part of the job." There was a tiny bit of weight behind his words. It was like he regretted ever becoming a hero or at least representing Vought and America.
After that Homelander continues to practically suck down the milkshake. It wasn't in any hurry, but it did feel like he wasn't much for chatting. Gavin backed off with speaking more. He wanted to let him enjoy his time and maybe if he comes to Idaho again, then he would be a regular. It was not his decision, but was hopeful.
Homelander finished the shake with a deep gulp. When he thought Gavin was not looking he lifted the glass up to lick the sides. It only received a small gesture of sliding a spoon across the counter. Homelander a little embarrassed retrieved the spoon and began to scrape the sides to get every drop of the milky cream. The humming was quiet, but continued with each spoon full till he was down to the last taste. He then drops the spoon into the glass before standing up with a long deep sigh.
"Just bill Vought for this and you will get that payment right away. I will be going, thank you for the milkshake." Homelander announced before stepping towards the front door.
"Will do. I hope to see you around these par's again." Gavin finished the brief goodbye.
He watched the man in navy leave before taking off into the sky from the front door. The glass door closes with ease as Gavin stares out the window. He sighs before picking up the glass and cleaning off the counter. He would clean up the glass and spoon before continuing the day out like normal.

How to Choose the Best Low Voltage Switchgear for Your Project

Low voltage switch gears are significant to an industry, commercial or residential installation in ensuring the safe and effective power distribution. Selecting the right switchgear is key in making sure the system will be reliable, preventing electrical faults, and optimizing energy efficiency. Buying switchgear may appear challenging, given the number of options available in the market. The guide below will assist in grasping the vital aspects to consider in choosing low-voltage switchgear in 2025.
What is Low Voltage Switchgear?
Low voltage (LV) switchgear is an assembly of circuit breakers, disconnects, fuses, relays, and other protective equipment for controlling and protecting electric systems in voltages of up to 1,000V AC. It is commonly used in:
Industrial power distribution systems;
Commercial buildings;
Data centers;
Hospitals;
Renewable energy systems.
Choosing Low Voltage Switchgear: Important Considerations
1. Understand Your Project Requirements
Understanding your project requirements for assessing power distribution should include:
Voltage and current rating. This is for ensuring compatibility of load.
Type of application: For example, both industrial and commercial as well as residential and renewable sources.
The fault current rating: Ensure that it can withstand the maximum possible fault current.
Number of feeders and expansion requirements: Be sure to plan for possible future growth.
2. Safety and Compliance with Standards
As far as safety is concerned, the other critical consideration when selecting switchgear is to ensure that it has met the following:
IEC 61439 or ANSI/NEMA standards-Properly complying with international safety and performance standards.
Arc flash protection-Reduces the risk of being exposed to electrical hazards.
Short-circuit withstand capability-Makes sure switchgear withstands those high fault conditions.
3. Type of Switchgear Configuration
The correct configuration should be selected based on the size and complexity of the project:
Fixed Type Switchgear — Cost-wise, the cheapest and most suitable for small installations.
Withdrawable Type Switchgear — Provides ease of maintenance expected for an industrial facility.
Compartmentalized Switchgear — Offers improved safety and isolation of components.
4. Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
Modern switchgear are also designed to optimize energy usage and reduce losses. Look for: Low power loss components — More efficient. Eco-friendly insulation materials — Leverage the environment. Smart grid compatibility — Include renewables.
5. Smart Features and Digitalization-
Soon after Industry 4.0 and IoT, digital switchgear became a standard. Consider: Remote monitoring and diagnostics-The predictive maintenance help. Automated fault detection-Reduced downtime, and increased safety. Data logging and analytics-Optimizes power usage.
6. Brand Reputation and After-Sales Support
Choosing a reliable brand ensures long-term performance and support. Some of the top low voltage switchgear Suppliers are:

God is good, I actually slept last night! 🙌 Just the normal struggle to fall asleep, although I was pretty exhausted, so it didn't even take quite an hour. My dad had a good suggestion for solving my pill swap problems that I might try, too: an automated pill container for elderly people with memory problems, like the automated cat feeder I use for Bo, so it would remind me to consistently take everything but also I can't take things at the wrong time. I'd like to think that just having realized I've been doing this would be enough to make me stop and check that I'm taking the right thing and not double-dosing, but if the problem persists, I can try the old lady/cat breakfast solution. I'm also committing to call my doctor today about the stress blisters (because they are really bothering me), and maybe she'll have an idea for how to get me to sleep this semester too, idk.
