So I just rewatched Midnight at the Pera Palace for the second time and I noticed a few things...

It's called the PERA palace and the two girls are called PEride and esRA...the name of the hotel is in their names.

Also, I still can't help thinking that Leyla is Esra and Halit's daughter, and somehow Peride and her husband ended up caring for Leyla. I think this because:

There is so much time travel going on, Esra and Halit could have easily gone back in time together at some point and had Leyla.

Leyla asked Esra what "memory" was, as if her's had recently been wiped somehow (explaining why she didn't recognise Halit when he came to rescue her).

That scene where Halit rescues Leyla seemed especially "monumental", as if their meeting was important, ie. because it was the first time that he was meeting his daughter.

You can't really see Peride's husband's face in this scene, which I find suspicious (to the point where I think this is Esra and Halit, not Peride and her husband):

Lastly, I still feel sorry for poor Halit I mean from his POV this is his relationship with Esra:

Esra: Oh hey cutie let me save you with my terrible driving.

Esra: Yes let’s dance and make out.

Esra: Oh no it’s midnight and my magic carriage is about to turn back into a pumpkin byeeee!!

Two Years: No Esra for you!

Esra: *has no idea who he is*

Esra: You are The Villain™ RUNAWAY RUNAWAYYYYY.

Esra: OK you aren’t that bad.

Esra: *heart eyes*

Esra: I don’t love you byeeee (even though I really do love you but I really need you to get Sonya good and pregnant long story don’t ask).

Esra: Let’s make out through these jail bars and then go and throw a clock bomb into the sea for Poseidon to deal with! #seconddategoals.

Esra: I love you but we can’t be together because of reasons, it’s not you it’s me byeeeee.
