I know canonically Senku and Gen have about the same strength (shown in that who would win in an arm wrestling page).

But you agree with me that Gen is definitely more durable and flexible than Senku right? He'll I might even say if they really arm wrestled, with no tools ofc, Gen would win.

Even in the early pages of the manga, Gen has shown to have more stamina than Senku. One I remember the most is when they made the super magnet and they needed to climb a cliff, while Senku was being carried by our girl boss Kohaku, Gen was climbing alone with a huge bag on his back (Ch. 24)

Then we also have when he walked for two days straight without a break to follow Francois.

Now with his agility. Although it was only shown in the early pages, Gen is often seen to be standing on top of a wood block, like:

During the second Grand Bout he stood on top of the wood pillar once and on top building Ruri was in. Also he stood on the bridge when he officially betrayed Hyoga, and I like to mention, it took him less than 2 seconds to do that.

So I find it disappointing that Gen no longer showed his flexibility in the later chapters.

Maybe, just maybe, Gen purposely made himself look weaker so Senku won't feel left out? I say this because Gen changed a lot after staying by his side. At one point I started to believe that his over the broad reaction to Senku's words/invention was exaggerated and done on purpose to show the villagers how impressive Senku really is and that his words are not normal, so they would feel more motivated to help out.

Although Senku can't have the durability or flexibility Gen has, Gen will never have the amount of girls Senku can pull.

Not that it matters since Senku can fill in that spot.

(is it obvious that I like Gen way more than I like Senku? Nah-)

gen being a magician is definitely the more flexible one between the two. like he mentions how he has to do the body cutting trick in the light novel, and from my limited knowledge of magic tricks, that in itself mainly requires the person to be really flexible.

tbh gen standing on those wood blocks rly helped with the mysterious slick vibes he had going on in the earlier chapters. though, he did stand on the ship's upper deck uhhh thingy in chapter 204, but in a silly way

i actually do like the headcanon that gen is stronger than he lets on, say, maybe he's almost as strong as chrome? but he hides it for a different reason than the one u have in mind– he just does not want more work (¯▿¯)

also methinks his reactions are exaggerated to show a distinction between a modern person (like us dear readers) and the villagers who don't know the magnitude of what is happening in front of their eyes. his exaggerated reactions are similar to the other modern timers imo, but after a while he kind of cools down with it because he's not as surprised with senku's genius-ness anymore (and it's why i bet senku kept the time machine a secret from him, to keep gen surprised)

so true about the rizz comment though. senku is a genuine person so his charisma comes through naturally. but gen hides his True Self behind layers and layers and so even his purposeful flirting comes off as superficial. it's why he only pulls senku because he's like, almost immediately honest with senku so his #real charisma shines through. this is why sengen endgame thanks for coming to my ted talk
